Shin Ei Lin Because of the high ratings, I decided to visit. However, the atmosphere at Tech felt rushed. While efficiency is good, making guests feel like youre rushing to serve the next customer isnt ideal. Additionally, the attention to detail in the pictures wasnt great. Moreover, I actually understand Vietnamese, and I overheard the Tech next to mine saying that a customers nails lasted for two months before she returned. My Tech then said, Dont let the customers nails last so long, two months is too much. While this perspective may be valid from a business standpoint, it would be better not to say it in front of the customer. Even if they probably dont understand Vietnamese, I believe there is someone like me who does.

Margaret Cobb I’ve been coming to this salon since July 2023…. And wow how things have changed. I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experiences. While Ive always appreciated Tiffany work, Ive noticed a decline in the quality of her service over the past few months. Specifically, Ive encountered difficulties, such as when requesting a polish color change, or help with a selection of a color. I always have pics so it’s not hard when I come in, however when I ask for help in selecting the closest color to my pic….. nothing as of late. I use to value our client to nail tech relationship, but I’ve realized all things do really come to an end. Especially when I just got my nails done yesterday literally and she didn’t paint starting from my cuticles leaving one to believe that by looking at them that it’s time for me to get my nails polished !!!!!!!! I pretended to be happy because I knew I wouldn’t be back. I don’t know where we went wrong. I pay and tip well so I will take my business elsewhere. Again from July 2023to December 2023 great experience but January 2024 when I told Tiffany I didn’t like a color and wanted to change it….. everything switched. I don’t know why ppl get emotional with the paying customer if they decide to change the color 2-3 fingers in…..

J E I always get my nails done with Tiffany and she’s great. The manager of this salon is very nice and she’s always around to check on how things are going. I’ve only been here a couple of times but my experience has been consistently positive. :)

macy duncan i religiously go to adore nails. and swear by how good they are. i have NEVER gotten a bad set of nails in the last 10 or so months i’ve been coming here. i simply refuse to go anywhere else. their prices are fair and service is always immaculate. this nail salon’s secret weapon is tiffany. she is my go to and i request her every time i come in. each set she does for me people are AMAZED they aren’t press on’s. (photos included) thank you guys for continuing to impress me and being my favorite trip to make every few weeks!!

Amie Nguyen EDIT 2 years later: Ah! I’m so sad because I really loved this place. I felt so rushed, and I don’t think care was put into my nails. The tech would, for example, file all my nails but was really just going through the motions without attention to detail. Same with something she put on before the base coat. She barely touched the brush to my nails! I was a bit in shock. I didn’t think about leaving a review, but literally THE NEXT DAY, my GEL manicure started peeling off. (See picture of blue nails) I’m pretty upset since this was a pretty pricey trip to the salon! 2 Years Ago when they first opened: The place is so nice, clean, and the service was wonderful! The ladies were so nice, my nails were really well done, and the payment system was quick and all electronic. It’s a very large nail salon and right by campus, which makes it my new go-to nail salon. I will definitely be recommending all my friends!

Haejun Lee I am picky on the shape and color of my nails, but they always help me get the exact color I have in mind and the most flattering shape every time without fail. I’ve been going here after having a bad experience at another salon, and my nail guy is so friendly and consistently provides high quality gel-x nails without damaging my natural nails. I called to squeeze in a last minute appointment on Valentine’s Day, and they were super accommodating when I had to get my appointment pushed back an hour. Even though I was the last person at the salon, he did not rush at all. Highly recommend!!

Casey OConnell It can be really difficult to find a great fit when it comes to nail salon and technician, especially when there are so many options, but I have found it here! The location is super accessible/convenient for me since I don’t have a car, and everyone is always friendly and accommodating. I’ve been seeing Lynda for many months now, and I’ve never left disappointed. She is calm and easy to sit with, and also incredibly intuitive and gifted at her work. My Gel X nails sets always last me for a full month, without fail. And that is a must for a fairly low maintenance girl like me. Definitely recommend!

Shreya Patel Great service! I had my nails done by Austin and he did a good job of walking me through what I was getting. I also appreciate him walking me through the price before starting. The one caveat is they are on the pricier side, in my opinion. But they do great work!

Samantha Garza I got an acrylic set and gel pedicure. Staff was very kind and helpful. Especially Lynda. She did a phenomenal work with my nails. Prices were clear, which was incredibly important for me. Also you get offered complimentary drink (non alcoholic). Was a very nice time!

Julie D. The lady would not fix any of the issues. Glued the tips on crooked and told me that she will fix it when we cut them and file them down. I asked for flat natural nail, not in color, but in shape . Instead, I have thick and bumps at my cuticles where the nail should be flat and the nails are not even. I’ve asked multiple time to fix the issues,She kept telling me she will fix it at filing. she kept saying to me OK now OK now not even seeing what the issue was, so I just gave up . There was no cuticle work at all , no lotion at the end. Only the bare minimum , very disappointed to pay $55 for something you’re not happy with. Yes it is better than anything I could’ve done by myself, but I’m not a professional. It Is her job to see her clients hands ask questions and take feedback. Is it the worst manicure ever gotten ? no but again when you’re paying for something you want it done correctly.

Amanda Scheffe I love this salon. Mimi usually does my nails and they’re always so even and well finished. My set will last me 3-4 week when I get them done at Color, where they’ll only last 1-2 weeks when I get them done at other places. This salon is bright and clean, the staff is super friendly, and they’re always very accommodating when I come in with crazy design requests.

Jenny Bentley Amazing job. The place was open, nothing to note on smell it was a fresh space warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved the service, my lady was quick but precise, diligent, efficient, and patient while I took some time to find my colors!! All the nails were all smooth which I have never had happened before because usually one get an air bubble from the finish but they’re beautiful. I am obsessed. No wait time and helped me straight away. Will definitely be coming here from now on. Excellent job.

Karen Graf The owners, Vivian and Kelvin are awesome. Their staff is ultra talented. Whatever you want they can do. Vivian is continually educating herself on new products and technology. Her nail art is incredible. So thankful to have this family owned salon minutes from home. The gel manicures are the best I’ve ever had and let so long! However I’ve moved to dip powder and love it so much! See you soon!

Meg White The ladies at Scarletts made sure I walked out happy! I came in for black chrome nails. Black gel apparently doesnt dry well so when they rubbed the chrome on, they dimpled a bit. They immediately sprung into action removing the polish and redoing them. Outside of that, they were patient, gentle and so friendly. I will definitely be back!

Lee Highly recommend this place and highly recommend Holly! I’ve been to numerous nail salons before and the attention to detail that Holly provided is unmatched. She works very quickly but is honestly very diligent and has a good eye for shapes and colors. I also got my eyebrows waxed by her and shape she gave me is clean and gorgeous. Fits my face perfectly. Very clean salon as well, and everyone is too kind. I definitely will be going back here, and I suggest you do too. They also do haircuts here so I’ll be trying this place for my next trim.

Morgan Monroe Truly awful. I went in and got a gel manicure done, it looked horrible. They dremeled my nails for shellac polish making my nail bed uneven. The actual nail edges were uneven, they cut me in the process, and the paint was translucent in one part and too thick in other. He also missed a part on the paint and tried to file that piece of nail off?? I asked for a refund and they offered to redo it, I came in and thet dremeled the nail polish off too?? Then they cut me again, at that point I asked them to not repaint and to just refund me and they refused to saying they already spent the money and they can’t issue refunds on their system. Also the lady definitely had a cold and wasn’t washing her hands after blowing her nose.

Julian Gollas My wife said she loved the service, as for me waiting. I enjoyed it, staff was very tentative and provided beverages. Nice people. Will definitely be going back to that location for sure.

E Wilkinson This was so bad. First of all, it was $88 for GelX and they did not massage or put lotion on my hands. It was a sloppy job from the beginning. I went in for GelX on a Wednesday. By Saturday the nails had already started popping off. I was on vacation and had to get two glued back on at another salon. By Saturday night, the majority of the nails had popped clean off. I went back as soon as I got back to town and showed them and they didnt care at all. I asked them to fix my natural nails and trim them to make them even but all they did was buff off the excess gel. This was the biggest waste of money ever. The nails were $88 plus tip and lasted 2.5 days. I would not recommend this salon. Please see photos. A full refund would be the only way to resolve this terrible job. Edit to add: I did go back and asked them to take all the remaining gel off. They couldn’t even do that well. I wouldn’t even go back if it was free.

Catherine Anderson This is such a great salon! Victor and Mai are both incredibly kind and welcoming. My nails are gorgeous and so high quality! Perfectly shaped, and exactly what I asked for. There are so many awesome stylish colors to choose from that I haven’t seen in many other salons. Super pleased with how transparent and affordable their prices are, too! Will definitely be coming back!

Ceci DLR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Experience! I visited this nail salon for the first time today, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The customer service was top-notch—everyone was kind, accommodating, and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I had two different technicians work on me, and both did an amazing job. The person who did my pedicure was so sweet and meticulous, ensuring every detail was perfect. Then, the nail technician who did my manicure really took the time to reshape my nails beautifully. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated how much care they put into their work. The salon itself is spotless—it smells fresh, looks impeccably clean and organized, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind and get pampered. Shyanne Clarkson Love this salon! Not only are they always able to pull of any design I ask for, but they ALWAYS and I do mean always, get the shape exactly right! I haven’t found my one person at this salon yet, but it is genuinely because they are all excellent every time. The prices are in the higher end, but I know that what I’m getting is worth the cost. I also want to speak to the overall experience. I’ve had nothing but great service at this salon. The owner herself has come over to do my sister in laws nails during a rush. I won’t say everyone, but most of the technicians are constantly checking in throughout the process to be sure I’m satisfied with the shape, color, or design. When I want my nails done right, I come here. Staff has always treated me and my friends/family kindly. I’ve come here on and off for 2 years and I’ve finally decided this is my main salon.

Daisy Ramos This was my first time coming here and My nails came out so good!! They took me as a walk in and I was able to get a full set of nails and pedicure done at the same time. Tammy and Gigi took care of me and my nails came out beautifully. I was in and out before you know it and the customer service was great!! The girl at the front was super nice and offered me water. The prices are super great and affordable which was the cherry on top for me!! Definitely will be returning

Lydia Bereket I have been coming to this nail salon for about 3 years now and they never disappoint. I have been seeing Tina for a few months now and she is so perfect in what she does!!! I’m a very picky person and they definitely take their time to satisfy my needs. In general the customer service is top tier as soon as you walk in and the care the nail techs put into doing your nails is beautiful. They take their time and make you feel so comfortable. They also have complimentary drinks, non alcoholic to alcoholic! Love! I have sent so many people here and they love it too so I highly HIGHLY recommend this place.

Chantol Pulley Great service! I moved to the U.S three years ago and I honestly have never gotten this level of service before at any salon. I always have to settle with my nails and here I get perfection…. The nail artist was Very detailed, my nails turned out beautiful. The environment is nice, clean and spacious. Very friendly staff as well. I 1000% recommend.

Kate Wells Pedicure was fine but I was not impressed with manicure. Didn’t push back my cuticles and painted straight over. Not very gentle and cut a couple of my cuticles very bad. Didn’t get tips and wanted my nails to be more even but that didn’t happen and now they’re all different lengths. The service felt rushed and lazy and there were many things that I have always gotten done automatically at other salons that I had to ask for. The ladies were nice but I don’t think I will be returning.

Jennifer Alden Update: Just had another amazing service of pedicure with relaxing massage, oils, hot stone, scrub and terrific conversation along with a new full set of pink and white acrylics. Great price and such a welcoming environment. Original review: Ive been to this location a number of times and the people I have worked with here have consistently been so friendly, remember me, and give terrific service. The services are not rushed, are very competitively priced and consistent. Ive tried other locations near me but I always return because I prefer the quality and service I always receive at this location. It is my to go from now on. For reference, I always get a gel pedicure, acrylics and eyebrow waxing.

I loved everything about my experience today - not only is everyone so nice, but Phylicia did such a beautiful job making sure my nails and cuticles were healthy as well. The salon itself was awesome too; very cozy and a really comfortable place to relax in. In all, my nails look perfect and everyone there was having a great time! The complimentary green tea was refreshing, Henry gave me a massage to die for, and they have lots of options when it comes to pedicures/manicures that are soooo relaxing. Plus the space is super cute.

Jennifer Holbert It was my first time at deluxe nails, and I’ll absolutely be back. Everyone I spoke with was so friendly and I was even offered a Vietnamese coffee when I sat down. My manicurist paid careful attention to what I asked for and did a beautiful job. I’m excited to go back next time. I’ve been to a variety of nail salons and have never felt such kindness before.

Sarai Luksch Cathy is incredible! She was efficient and did a phenomenal job! She is a very sweet woman who loves making her clients happy! Absolutely would recommend!

Kalliey Dunbar To start, the owner is incredibly kind. She made everyone in the shop the evening I went in feel special and she has a 100% customer centric business outlook. She wants each of their customers to leave fully satisfied and HAPPY with their nails which is rare to find in a salon. Unfortunately, the evening I went in, she was the only one doing nails and was bouncing around 3 appointments, myself included. I’ve never had such a rushed SNS DIP manicure. When my nails were initially dips, they were done so fast that I had dip powder caked onto my cuticles. I figured with filing perhaps it would all get taken care of — shape wise my nails are not bad, however, they are not smooth by any means and were left incredibly bumpy. As for the top coat, it has chunks and pieces of glitter from previous customers in it so my nails are left looking and feeling bumpy, gritty, and with pieces of random colored glitter all over them. Ultimately, I was left picking chunks of of SNS powder off my fingers the entire evening until it all finally came off. Lastly, I was charged a total of $75 (which the owner presented to me as a discounted price after “taking off $10”) for this rushed manicure, which doesn’t add up (pictures of menu attached). An SNS Manicure is priced at $45 + $6 for French and $11 for paraffin = $62. Where the additional $13 came from is beside me. I didn’t figure this out until I was at home and I’m not one to cause a big fuss but all in all, while the owner was sweet as can I be, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this salon in the future.

Tia Berkley I will say that they have a cool little spot but I got my services on Thursday and today my nail bubbled and did this. I was trying to find a place were I can get my lashes as well as my nails done in the same spot but I think I may want to go back to my old nail salon. I have never had this issue with them. Tomorrow I will go back to Arbor nail spa and have them fix it properly because I paid my money of course.

Gena Hardison Lee has done my nails my past few visits and she always does a pristine job. She takes the time to make sure that each nail is perfectly shaped, even, and painted to every edge. I appreciate her attention to detail, it helps my nails so they don’t break/crack between fills. Today we did a fun design and she went above and beyond. They’re so beautiful and I’m grateful for all her efforts. Looking forward to coming back to see her again!

Nikki Boney I came here with my friend (she did not get any services) to get a full acrylic set with gel French tips and a gel French tip pedicure. The tech seemed annoyed when she found out my friend wasn’t getting a service. The pedicure was done first and seemed fine even though I don’t remember half of the items being completed. When I was getting my full set done the tech was rude and seemed annoyed at me for talking to my friend during the service. She was doing a removal for Gel X extensions and told me to keep my hand flat so the chemical doesn’t get on my hand as it will irritate my skin. I did as I was told but during the removal of the chemical some got on my thumb. It started to itch and I tried to wipe it off myself and she told me I’d be able to wash my hand soon and I washed my hands a few minutes later. A chemical which was known to be a skin irritant was left in my hand for multiple minutes. She was very rough with my hands, gripping me tightly (enough to bruise which is pictured) and she kept digging her nails into the sides of my fingers. Once it came time to check out the tech kept hovering over the receptionist and glaring at us. I reviewed my receipt in the car and felt there were some issues/discrepancies with what I was charged. We went back inside and requested to speak with a manager. We were told by the receptionist that the manager was not here but we could speak with her over the phone. My anxiety was high at this point so my friend spoke with her and started to discuss the issues with what I was charged. The manager stated she would be there to speak with us in person in about 5 minutes. The whole time my friend was talking to the manager over the phone and while we waiting for the manager, the tech kept coming up to us trying to intimidate us after I repeatedly stated I did not want to talk and that we were waiting for the manager. She did not leave until after I rather loudly told her to leave me alone. While we waiting it was obvious that her and other staff members were speaking negatively about us while looking our direction and whispering. Once the manger arrived I attempted to speak with her and get clarification on what and why I was charged the way I was. She was extremely rude and didn’t seem to really care about my experience as a customer. She pretty much told me pricing was the way it was and if I didn’t like it I should have reviewed the pricing prior to the service being done. I don’t understand why French on my toes was $8 while French on my hands was $20. I felt that there were services that I was charged that were not provided but the manager assured me that they looked at the cameras and that they were completed. I no longer had issues with that. My main problem was how I was treated and ganged up on by staff members when all I wanted was to speak with a manager. The manager gave nonchalant apologies that seemed very in-genuine. I expressed concerns about being pushed and practically bullied into getting different services in the past and she told me I needed to advocate for myself and just say no. I asked her how many times I should have to say no before I am no longer pushed and pestered. She didn’t answer. She attempted to blame the issues on a language barrier when it was clear that the tech could understand me perfectly and I had no issues understanding her either. She stated that she wasn’t here when the rude behavior took place and I said that she shouldn’t have to be here for her employees to treat people with kindness. She then raised her voice at me telling me “Don’t tell me how to do my job”. At that point I left. I’ve been coming here for months and clearly they have let their service standard go. As someone who also works in the service industry this is in no way how you speak to a customer who has had a bad experience. Keep in mind I had and have in no way asked for my money back. I simply wanted clarification and to discuss my concerns with a manager but clearly that is not allowed here.

Julie H They took no care to listen to what I wanted and rushed through the appointment. I asked to keep the length and shape of my original nail and just make them more uniform. The lady chopped off all my length into to these little nubs, left the ends super jagged, and inconsistent shape. The French itself looks awful and the white is running on some nails. The manager did offer to have someone else fix it but I’d already lost all the length and figured it is just easier to fix it myself. Sad I wasted $30.

Ivonne Zamudio I’ll always trust my girl Kim to take care of me!! This is the only salon I’ve gone to since moving to Austin 3 years ago. She always recommends the style and product that best fits my wants (gel x, dip, hybrid) she is so patient with me and always does amazing work!! This is hybrid gel in the color BL3. Thank you Kim!!

sophia whatever Ms. Jenny did my acrylic nails and Ms. Jade did my gel toes. Everyone was super nice and engaged in small talk conversation! Ms. Jenny always ensured I liked what she was doing from the shape, application, and design. At first, I wouldn’t say I liked the how the design was turning out, but Ms. Jenny showed me multiple options until we found one I liked. Ms. Jade worked very hard to ensure I liked the design on my toes as well. I loved how detail oriented she was on my toes. The owner of the shop was also super nice! She told me how she is working to improve her media skills for her salon. Overall everyone in the salon cares about the customer and salon.

Jill Holechek Kevin is a nail master! Linda is a pedicure goddess. We decided to try a new salon and could not be happier. Relaxing and chill and very professional. I highly recommend this salon. Easy parking, clean salon, and appointment making also.

Sandra Gallegos After giving up on a different nail salon, I found Oasis and haven’t gone anywhere else since. I don’t even live in the area anymore, but still go there. Initially, I tried a few different techs and they all provided great service. Nowadays, I mostly go to Kim and she’s also great. Everyone there is friendly and provide great service. mandie m I hadn’t been to a nail salon in a while because i couldn’t find one that i loved and after visiting here on Friday i can say that i will definitely keep coming back! Front desk was very kind. My nail tech Vivian was so friendly, efficient and quick. She was very attentive and kept checking in to make sure that i loved the shape and color of my nails. I left in loveeee with my nails!

Kristy Kietchai I appreciate how I was immediately aware of prices, given time to clearly choose my colors and explain my design, and the care of attention to detail my tech Mia produced. I had great conversations and had a great time visiting this team. I love it here. All the techs are really good but for me its Mia who provides me the reassurance and confidence I expect in my designs every single time.

Eva Michelle Zapata I was in search of a new go-to spot in town. Stepped into Highland Nails without an appointment and was seated right away! I showed my tech, Tara, the design and she knew exactly what she was doing. She also checked in with me along the process to see if I liked the shape of my nails and the color, I really appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend checking them out.

Kristyn K I’ve gone here pretty regularly for the past two years. I would rate the manicures I’ve gotten over that time a B/B+, always pretty good and it’s convenient in terms of location. However, the manicure I got today is so low effort and honestly in the top 5 worst manicures I’ve ever gotten in my life. The filing is uneven on most nails and one hand is shaped way better than the other. And I came in with a good canvas because my nails were long and I wanted them shorter. But the main issue is that the person painted and cured all 5 nails on each hand at the same time. Never in my life have I had that in the dozens and dozens of gel manicures I’ve received at salons - they normally paint and cure 2-3 nails at a time for each hand. I even commented that of yeah I’ve never had someone do that and he changed the subject. And that poor technique is why my nails are lumpy and look awful. The place wasn’t even that busy so I don’t understand the need to try to rush through and do the entire hand at one time. I unfortunately will not be returning.

Haro Marisa First time here and it did not disappoint! Fast service and Tammy did an amazing job on my nails. She was super detail-oriented, which I really appreciate, and she was so sweet. Definitely coming back!

Alexandria Schurtz I went in to get acrylic nails long and almond shaped. Alex gave me good feed back and great suggestions what to have. My fingernails are small and I am a nail bitter. Alyssa Cornett I love this nail salon! Ive been going here for years and they are always so kind, thoughtful and considerate of my requests. Im not particular about who does my nails here because I genuinely feel like everyone they have on their team does phenomenal work! And theyre very reasonably priced compared to other salons in the area and offer perks when certain reward points are reached (which is a total plus for regulars like me). Overall, highly recommend!

Bailey Zavaleta I’ve been getting my nails done by Sony since I was 17, I’m 24 Now. She’s been open to all of my nail ideas and I value her opinion so much. Shes absolutely KILLER at a Stiletto nail and I LOVE her French Manicures. She pays attention to the shape of the nail so well and it’s what I enjoy the most about her work. My experience in her chair is always positive and she makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the salon when I leave. She hand paints, does airbrush, and 3D gel. I ONLY book my nails with Sony! She does an amazing job of fitting me into her schedule when I need a new set. I wake up bright and early just to get my nails done by her and I typically suck at waking up before 10am.

Erika Wong Kim’s Nails has been my go to for almost 4 years! I go to Sony regularly and I am always so so happy with the results. She takes great care of my nails and always makes sure I leave loving everything. I’m always hard on my hands but my nails last forever. Trustworthy, kind and clean!

saratops walken Ive been coming here for years. Back in 2003-ish, this was my go to place to get my brows waxed. Im not overly fussy anyway, so I rather enjoyed the quick and precise clean up of my brows. Flash forward to 3 years ago and I started getting gel manicures. Again, I just do a nude/neutral pink and dang if they dont knock that out of the park as well. Tony has been my go to nail tech, and he has taught me a lot about nail care and hygiene. He encourages me to ask questions and try new things, his knowledge is vast. I ask questions but he hasnt been able to get me to change my ombre pink acrylic. I dont even know if Im saying that right, but I dont care. It looks clean and neat. They will make sure Im satisfied. I look forward to my appointments because the vibe at City Nails is marvelous, its about your comfort and satisfaction.

Mari Di Why would make an appointment? I made an appointment for 10:00am when they open. I walked in at 9:59 and three people were on the pedicure chair already….People walk in and have been serviced before me since they are regulars. Currently 10:30 and I am still waiting…and only 3/6 people currently sitting getting serviced were here before me …. lol To make it even better it’s my birthday today now I’m having to push my plans back. The reason i haven’t walked out yet is because they service hard gel which a lot of salons don’t sadly. Update: Currently 10:50 and barely just asked what i want for my nail color….no customer service to accommodate my experience so far or my scheduled appointment

Deanna Logan I have had my nails done on numerous occasions but always requested dip, acrylic, or gel polish. This time she asked if I wanted to try the zen nail builder. There are multiple natural looking colors to choose from or you can get clear and paint over it. My color is milky white with a rose gold glitter polish. It did not take as long as acrylic would. Give nail builder a try!

Julie Chen Really really bad. I came here for a full set of Acrylic nails and I wanted a certain two colors which they later on after applying all the acrylic stuff and gel base coat, told me that the color was only for dip which they could’ve specified earlier. Then, when the lady was buffing my nail with the drill she took off my skin which hurt like a mf. And then on top of all that, my nails didn’t even come out good they’re crooked, the polish isn’t even covering the whole nail, the top coat isn’t covering the whole nail. I’m going to redo it myself. I personally don’t recommend for nails. Other services, i don’t know. Good luck.

Betty Chen 4.5 stars. Overall happy with nails. They removed a poorly done gel x nail from another salon and gave me hybrid gel instead. It looks a lot more natural. There are a few imperfections - fluff stuck in between layers of gel polish and a few bubbles. Im sure if I noticed during appointment they would have fixed but I only noticed when I got home. Would come back for my infills and get the imperfections fixed.

Antoinette Perry I had such a lovely experience at triangle nails spa! Ivy did my nails and did a fabulous job. She made sure each step was to my liking (the length of the gel extension, the color, the shape) prior to completing the other steps. They turned out great! I am very pleased. The prices are reasonable too :) i highly recommend! I don’t live here full time, but when I am out here I will be coming back!

Mia Rivera I have been coming here for three years, and I absolutely love it! Even though it’s a 45-minute commute, I don’t mind making the drive to receive their excellent service. I often invite friends to join me for a pedicure or manicure. I especially love getting my nails done with Vivian! She always does amazing work with nail designs and polishes using the Hybrid Gel. The hybrid gel has made my nails strong, long, and healthy!

AnaLu Alencar (I toke these pictures I was still at the nail salon, probably 10 minutes after I got them done, and it already looks like 2 weeks old and it’s just bad, I don’t know if the specific lady that did my nails wasn’t experienced, or the fact that the register lady kept rushing her because of walk ins, or if the service is just that bad.) I was trying to find a place to get acrylic nails, I saw the reviews of this place and thought I would give it a try. Just wish the 4.5 was accurate, I was very excited, I’m going on vacation and wanted to have pretty nails for the pictures, but it looks like I got them done 2 weeks ago instead. I can clearly see my original nails (and if you have ever done acrylic/gel nails you know that they start showing up a little after a week or so, depends on how fast your nails grow) and not only that, but the details also very rough, I wish I had just got the press on nails that it would be better and cost me less. The appointment was supposed to take 1 hour and a half, I made an appointment days before, but the place started getting some walk ins and the lady that stays in the register kept rushing the one that was making my nails, it may even be the reason why the service was very disappointing. I have never used my time to leave bad reviews, but this really pissed me off and turned a moment of excitement because of my vacation into a self conscious moment.

Kerri Battles I brought my mom here for two pedicures and my mom also got a polish only manicure. First off this place is posh as nail salons go. It has a real lux feel. The decor is really nice and they have tons of high end new manicure chairs. They go the extra step in terms of having essential oil diffusers going and nice music. The pedicures were well worth the cost and the care they took with my polish was above and beyond what I’ve had at other places in South Austin. The bathrooms are clean and nice, very pleasant. Their polish selection is out of this world. I think they had nearly 20 types of yellow for instance. They were so nice and patient with my older mother. I will for sure be coming back.

Jocelyn Chavez Clean, relaxing environment. Unable to complete my request of a neutral nail based and neutral colors with my olive skin. The nail tech blamed in on the lighting and was validated by her team that the design did match when I mention it did not the picture. You can see how she over buffed my nails under my base. Bubbles and uneven gel painted on. They charged me a full manicure even though it wasn’t complete. Very unprofessional. Not worth the prices. Go to cute nails salon for the same price but better service.

alex p they’re nice but don’t know how to do nails. the nail tech doing my set cut my nails shorter than i wanted after i told her i wanted long - medium nails and then said “students don’t need long nails” like miss girl that’s not for you to decide… and then my set was uneven and had dents in it, barely lasted a week too. literally the worst set i’ve ever gotten, i recommend just going somewhere else picture was taken a day after i got my nails done

Alexandra Burgos DO NOT COME HERE IT IS UNSANITARY AND TERRIBLE They soaked off my nails in a dish that has a slot full of acetone for each finger and proceeded to put the drill bits in there to "clean them." After the soak off they proceeded to KEEP all the acetone my fingers were sitting in and pour it into another container to SAVE IT. How gross is that. (I saw another review who had this same experience of reusing acetone and the salon replied saying they do not -- I can assure you that is what happened; what are the chances of multiple people making the EXACT same false accusation) The uncleanliness wasnt even my issues. She started by putting on tips and cutting one of the thumbs SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the other fingers and didnt bother to fix it until I spoke up and she immediately took it off and redid it. I went to get French tips (which I get very often) and showed her a photo that she hardly even glanced at. She proceeded to give me what I think are the worst french tips Ive ever gotten: the french was uneven, thick, completely straight across, and the nail itself was bumpy and SO thick. She started the whole process without ever asking me what color I wanted and when I was unhappy with it I asked if we could put another over top to dull the pink-ness of it and she brought me colors that were opaque, so I said what was on was fine because the other colors were worse. When I went back the next day (yes I had to go back they were that bad) she tried to argue with me that I approved the color, to which I said yes, but AFTER you did the whole set without asking what I wanted. She ended up fixing them and filed the nails down for probably about 40 minutes before repainting them in a solid color -- like if it took that much filing to get them to a normal thickness, why would you let me leave like that yesterday????? My nails are HORRIBLY damaged and have rings of fire -- I have been getting dip for as long I can remember and this has NEVER happened to me. DO NOT COME HERE save your time, money, and business!!!!!!!! PS. When they get bad reviews they just comment youre talking about the wrong salon. This is 10000% the salon I went to and this was my experience. Unsanitary, rude, and looking for an easy way out because they know they provide horrible services.

Luisa Diaz I want a refund. They literally hurt my nail SO much when removing my old nails that the pain was so severe that I decided to carefully remove the nail MYSELF. The woman helping me hurt me multiple times and kept going even when I told her. I usually never leave review but this pain has not been worth “the convenience” DO NOT GO. Would not recommend this salon ever. I see the good reviews and they are probably from people that have been there just once but this was unacceptable.

Jordan Cooley Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and had booked a gel manicure + ombre effect. Made sure to ask the nail tech which colors would work best, but they ended up not being able to do the ombré. Got a marbling effect instead and was happy with the outcome. Come back and try a different nail tech, just one color for a gel refill. First attempt resulted in a really bumpy finish, not clean lines, really thick gel. Which they asked me to come back in today to have it redone. It’s definitely better, but still pretty lumpy and the paint isn’t clean (esp near the cuticle line). Really lovely staff and super personable, but for $76+ tip for a simple gel refill that took 3.5 hours total between the two days, I’m going to take my business elsewhere.

Nina I was recommended to go to this place by friends. I had “gel nail extensions with simple art” done by Maria Rodriguez. I love them so much! Maria listened to my requests, was real with me, gentle with my hands, and took her time in making my nails perfect. It’s worth it. They make me feel so cute. And speaking of cute, wow the studio aesthetic is immaculate. I feel like this place was made just for me. I loved it. The owner and the front desk people were friendly and helpful. The nail artists were generally kind to each other and seemed happy to be working there from what I could tell as a customer. It was clean and professional and they played a good mix of music. The space is on the smaller side and I was impressed that they have fume extractors at every table. It didn’t have the strong chemical smell of most salons. I heard they just had a new management change before I went so I would pay attention to the more recent reviews. Would recommend! ☺️ (And have recommended.)

Mary Ann L I wrote a review and deleted it but after some thought I feel I should share. I had high expectations after reading the reviews but it was a total let down. I wanted to get gel x extensions and some bling on my nails. I wanted coffin nails after using press on and liking the look. My nail tech was nice but my nails didn’t come out like I had hoped. First, some of the nails were put on crooked. I mentioned this and she told me, no, they were fine. I wanted coffin nails but I didn’t want long nails. She told me they didn’t have any that were short. Her clipping down the medium length nails lost any of the appearance of coffin style. They’re square. The polish was so thick they look clunky and not cute. She opted for glitter rather than stones and it looks amateurish.Then, this morning the thumb nail popped off! I haven’t had them a week and it fell off. I wasn’t doing anything that would cause it to do this. I had already made an appointment elsewhere to get them removed. I won’t be back.

Summer Stark Gracie was AMAZING! I had a request for Twenty One Pilots nails prior to attending the concert and she crushed it! She is so talented and took the time to hand paint each nail with the designs I wanted. She was incredible. I was so pleased!

Ally Hicks Went in for acrylic and walked out being overcharged for both acrylic and gel when I had been very specific about no gel. The nails done that were done are not good. No cuticle push back or anything! I wish I had walked out and saved my money!

Sarah Marten Lavish nails is my go to salon every two weeks. Scott is the owner and is always welcoming and kind. Cici is my favorite artist and consistently does an incredible job on my stiletto nails with gel. I recommend Lavish to everyone I know in Austin. 10/10!

Yaya Lucía The workers here are soooo nice. I walked in on a Wednesday with no appointment and they sat me down almost immediately because they werent busy. I got a mani-pedi with French tips and wouldve paid somewhere around 60 dollars total if I didnt get gel on both my hands and feet, but gel is 15-20 dollars extra basically everywhere, so their prices are fair. I paid around 100 dollars with gel, but I work in a kitchen and theyve survived super hot water, detergent and constant hand washing. The video and pictures are from today, 5 days later. My hands look a litte dry from work, but the cream they used during the hand massage helped a lot, and they looked really hydrated when I first got them done. And beside all that, the is clean and tidy. Aesthetics are nice. Will become a regular here.

Sheryl Lo I had a wonderful experience with Lavish Nails from start to finish. I set my appointment for the earliest available time slot, 9 AM, since I had to work later that morning. The staff were on time and we were able to get started quickly. They showed excellent customer service and professionalism right as I walked through the door. The owner Scott is extremely personable, and greeted me by name though he only had one conversation with me to set the appointment the day before. My nail tech was Tony and he is careful and meticulous with his work. I don’t get my nails done often and I tried describing what I wanted in the best way that I could. He exceeded expectations by doing exactly what I envisioned and picking complementary colors for my mani/pedi. The price I feel is a great deal for the quality of work and service. I highly recommend coming to Lavish to get your nails done. Also as a bonus, they have a very cute dog named Frosty.

Carey Browning I am reluctant to share this, because I dont want to make it harder to get an appointment! I go to Lavish all the time, and the staff and service are amazing. Everyone is so friendly, and I can work away on the wifi. This last time I had Cici do a dip (SNS) manicure, and I cant stop admiring it. I have gotten two compliments on it already, and it is brand new. Not nearly as thick as you normally see with the dip, and shiny as can be.

Meagan Hudson My new favorite salon! I’ve been here three times now, and have had a great experience every time. The nail techs are kind and great at their job. I do not ever get nail art or acrylics, so can’t speak on that, but Karen gave me a gel french manicure and I loved it. She has also done a gel pedicure and it turned out great. She is wonderful to chat with. Shine has also done a pedicure for me before and it turned out great as well. I’ve come on a very busy day (Easter) and all the hard work everyone was putting in did not go unnoticed. The salon is clean and relaxing atmosphere.

He was very detailed, made sure the nails matched in length and took his time to do a quality job (filing, etc.) He was friendly and would ask if I liked the length as well. It’s hard to find someone that doesn’t just rush to get the next customer in. Book with Tim, highly recommend! Updated review, Tim still does a wonderful job with the dip nails, he shapes and files them really well! I also had Tammy do nail art, she really took her time to review and make sure they looked the same on each hand.

Sarah Adams I’ve been going to Ava Spa and Nails for over a year every 2 weeks - I really love the attention to detail that Emily gives to my nails. I am super picky, particularly on shape, and she consistently delivers beautiful nails. They are also accommodating if I occasionally break one, and always offer me water. It’s a top favorite nail salon for me.

Carla Zacarias The lady doing my nails knew the nail was lifted and bumpy at the beginning, she kept tapping it. I just let it happen and see if she would fix it. She didn’t, so at the very end I showed her and she acted surprised and offered to fix it. At that point I was annoyed w the whole interaction and just paid and left. She was also extremely annoyed, bc I guess I couldn’t communicate in 10 seconds the exact shape and length I wanted. She was very impatient and rude. Definitely not going back.

Jenna Filardi I HOPE THIS IS THE ONLY REVIEW YOU READ! I’m writing this as I sit in the pedicure chair waiting for it to end. Turn around, save your money and time. Do not go to Ava Nails unless you want: - Small selection of gel colors with a broken color book to flip through - Out-of-order manicure steps: they soaked my nails at the end then filed and buffed them while still dripping wet - Facility and pedicure water smelled like sewer. Murky water - Unsanitary cuticle tools that were not peeled from a new / sanitary packet - Filthy facility: looked like floors hadn’t been swept in a year, nail clippings in my chair, dip powder and dremel dust in my cup holder etc. - Lazy and dry hand massage with little lotion - No cell service, WiFi does not work, no TVs or magazines The whole operation and facility was a complete mess without any professionalism or standards. If I could give this review 0, I would. I can’t believe they’re still open and a health code issue hasn’t closed shop. I literally stopped my manicurist in the middle of the service because I just knew the results would be awful. Take your business elsewhere!

Brianna LaFleur Very nice, efficient and thorough! I got a gel manicure and they took their time and did an excellent job! I chipped two nails within a week and went back and fixed them for no charge. This is my go to spot in Steiner Ranch.

Everyone at the salon is always very nice and the prices are awesome! I always come in with a new design in mind and leave getting lots of compliments from friends and classmates :)

Kendall Pearcy I hardly ever go to nail salons, but I went here today for the first time to get my nails done before my wedding. They did such a great job and were so friendly! My nails look even better than I hoped they would. I’ll be sure to come back here soon!

Carrington Jordan Saathoff I normally love Nikki but ever since she opened her own place shes been giving poor customer service. When my mom and I go in shell start doing our nails but as soon as another client comes in she leaves us and works on the other client, finishes them, and then will come back to us. Sometimes well schedule her but then we will get a different staff member bc she overbooked, which happens a lot. Today I walked in to get the gel manicure for the first time and she yelled at me in front of other clients! The room went completely silent!! Ive been disrespected way too many times here and its getting really old. Its completely embarrassing when the other staff apologizes for her and try to make it up to you. Whats more irritating is that I give BIG TIPS for their service but I get treated like Im scum.

olivia elmiger The best nail salon in Austin! The salon is in a great location in east Austin. The salon is so clean and beautifully decorated. I pretty much come every 2/3 weeks and they do an amazing job every-time without fail. Catherine did my nails and she knocked it out of the park! She’s funny, kind, and will have you leaving with a beautiful manicure! Always ask for Catherine!!

Brinda Barcelon Horrible experience! Unsanitary, terrible manicure, and bad service. I came in for a regular manicure. The manicurist filed the gel off, which I asked them to go easy on to protect my nail bed but they didn’t 3 times and still charged me $10 on top for removal. I asked to short nails for my job and the manicurist refused to cut them shorter. He didn’t completely paint my nails and missed a side (see pics) and my hands were extremely dry after the whole experience. The male technician I had was very unfriendly and rude. Also, during my manicure he stopped and trimmed skin off his nails. So gross. I don’t even know if they wash them between bc the towel they sued was filthy and he just dumped the tools back into the cart. Overall horrible. There are much better places to go that are cleaner, nicer, and do a better job.

Bonnie B I had so much fun getting pampered at Cute Nail Salon! I had been dying to go for years, but couldn’t make the commitment to the east side location. When the soco location opened, I knew I had to give it a try! Easy to make an appointment, clean, on-site ATM, and talented artists. I’ll be back for sure.

Kenndra Antos My nail tech was very nice. However this probably the worst nail job Ive ever seen on me before. Lines are super shaky I said short but this is ridiculously short theyre all very uneven and oddly shaped.. and I said acrylics when I made the appointment. To me that means the little plastic things that they glue onto your finger and then trim and paint. When she said acrylic overlay I had no idea what she meant I assumed it was what I ordered. And shes putting some sort of pink stuff on there but I dont know all the lingo I dont understand all this stuff Im used to acrylic acrylics Ive never heard of an acrylic overlay. For over $100 I would expect way more plus tip..... Unless at least a partial refund is ordered I dont believe I will be back and I definitely wont be referring.

Jane Trembley I made appointments for pedicures for my parents and I and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were so kind to us and the service was wonderful. My parents absolutely loved the decor of the salon and kept saying “it’s so cute in here!” Thank you Isaiah, Bernice, and Suki. You made our evening memorable and fun!

Gracey Acholonu I was way over due for a pedicure and they were nice enough to judge me a little bit, because I needed the pedicure immensely. I called two other places to see the difference in rates and services, they have a better rate and higher quality of service. Some salons when installing acrylics won’t shape underneath the nail and that is a huge sign of a bad nail salon. Also changes in pricing attributes to whether or not it’s a good nail salon. I asked the price and they told me exactly what it was and that was exactly what I paid.

Suzy Albrecht - Flick Jenny and John take the best care of me!! I am super hard on my nails but they know exactly what to do so I wont break them! They have beverages and comfortable seating so you are relaxed during all of your services!!! Also a shoutout to the fun selection of pedicures. I always enjoy the fresh orange pedicure!! Highly recommend!!

N Randall This was my first and last time going here. I got a dip, and the lady doing my nails nicked my cuticle beds on 4 different fingers. Because of the color I got, I couldnt tell how badly she nicked them until I had to wash my hands. And that was just with water. Its now Monday and they still burn when I wash them with hand soap. I got them done on Saturday. I have to put triple antibiotic on the nails just to calm the burning down. The nail tech was not concerned at all when I mentioned to her my fingers hurt. She said it was because she used a drill on the nailbeds.

Chandler Bartlett I called when they opened to make an appointment because it was my birthday and I wanted to make sure I got my nails done before my dinner. They gave me a super late appointment time, 330, and when I showed up every single chair was taken. I waited an hour and ten minutes for a gel manicure, I didn’t even have any polish or gel on to take off. I know nail salons give vague appointment times, but over an hour was insane. At the end of my gel, it was empty and three people were sleeping in the chairs. On top of it, worst gel I’ve ever gotten

My friend and I came in on a Friday morning, despite already having quite a few customers, they were able to seat us next to each other and do our nails at the same time. We were both very happy with our manicures!

Grace Holt Worst pedicure of my life. Teddy, the man who was doing my nails, cut them either so short they bled or incredibly crooked. He tore at my cuticles and stuck sharp tools deep into my already aggravated nail beds. Then, he continued scrubbing at my obviously bleeding toe. It was so painful I was brought to tears. I’m frustrated with myself that I didn’t ask him to stop sooner, and can’t believe I was too cowardly not to ask for a refund. They also do not use liners in their foot basins, and I saw them finish one pedicure and sit someone down in the same chair with ZERO cleaning. I’ve truly never had a worse experience.

Reneé Taylor I came in to see about getting my eyebrows waxed since I’m going out of town. The asians there hardly speak any English and always have some family member running the front. The young lady w/ glasses who I spoke with asked the reason for my visit and she tells the other asian lady. I then speak to middle aged asian lady and she basically tells me to come back next week because “we have a really good eyebrow lady.” I explain to her that I’m not coming back and that I’m going out of town. I usually do not come to this location but I was on lunch break and thought it would be okay given that I’ve been here before without any issues as a walk-in. Also, there is a big walk-in sign on their front door. Usually when I come here, the customer service and care seems off. They also want you to tip in cash and check only which is laughable. Get with the times and take your walk-ins welcome sign off if you are not able to do services. I do not recommend anyone coming here.

For at least 10 years the nail artists at Expert Nails have taken good care of me. Tracy pampered me today. Shes the best.

Alejandra Alcala They welcomed me in, gave me a nice brochure and after I found what I wanted (foot pedi) I was seated. It looked good inside and smelled wonderful! The services were impeccable and they offered me so many beverages (which i indulged in a mimosa or 2 lol). After getting my pedi, I decided to last minute do a manicure and they didnt hesitate to service me, which I thanked them immensely! I now have a beautifully well done mani and pedi!! 10/10 would recommend and would come back! The employees are so funny and kind and always attentive ❤️

Lizzy Keys I went in on Monday, for my birthday to get a Pedicure & A full set of acrylic nails. The Pedi was amazing, however my nails looked awful from the moment he started them. A couple of my fingers are crooked so I understand they are harder to work with. But I felt like they looked awfully wrong when I looked at my hand. I let him know before he put all the rest on. Still he told me it would look better as an end result. Again I noticed that the nails looked way too up, crooked and not shaped the way i asked him i wanted them. Again he was fighting me on my opinion. Kept telling me it would look better ones it was done. Well at that point i didnt feel like saying anything anymore. Because he wasnt even listening to what i was saying. The whole time I was letting my nails dry I kept looking at them thinking how awful they looked. And how much money i had just wasted. I just wanted to take them off. Well its now Wednesday, I still hate how they look, minus the color shades I chose. Not only that, but the part of the nail that is closes to my finger is already faded. These nails look as faded at 2 days later as the nails i got for my wedding somewhere else look at 2 weeks. So disappointed that i went to this place for my birthday while visiting a friend in austin. Will never go back. I double checked, this is the correct location. And I cant go back. I live over 3 hours away. But i appreciate trying to fix it.

Wish I took a picture because it was exactly like the picture I showed her (attached). Kevin was my 2nd experience and I did another challenge…a chrome ombré on top of a color. Amazing!!!

Taylor Gomes E’Shee has been my go-to nail spa since moving to Austin in 2022. To start, front desk employees have always been welcoming and helpful, plus I’ve never had to wait longer than a few minutes to sit down for my service, just enough time to pick my colors. They routinely offer refreshments, and the nail techs are friendly and so helpful. Kelly in particular is amazing! She’s done my nails quite a few times, and each time she has gone above and beyond my expectations. I get so many compliments wherever I go after I’ve seen her. She communicates how she’ll execute my ideas before beginning, offers good insight and recommendations when needed, and just overall makes sure I’m happy with everything every step of the way. Love this place!

Jena Cameron I got a pedicure and dip powder from them as a walk-in. The service was great and I had a good time. The staff is so friendly and helped me find the most perfect pink! It was my first time getting dip nails in a while so I was hesitant to cut them too short at first. The next day I came back and asked about getting them cut shorter after having a day with the longer nails and trouble texting. It was not an issue at all and they did a fantastic job! I will definitely be thanking my friend who recommended them

Skye Cockrell My go to place & I drive from Leander. It’s worth it! Skye (yes we have the same name lol) does a wonderful job on my acrylic nails. I love a certain pattern & coffin shaped. She always does great! I have also had pedicures. My daughters& husband have also joined & both enjoy this nail salon over many others we have tried. They do serve drinks as well & the wait if you didn’t have an appointment is never too long. My most recent set pictured below.

Lorissa McCoy I had a gift card for this place so I went in and ask for a manicure and pedicure plus brows. I went 5 days ago. My toe on 1 foot is now infected. Im not sure if its because of the cut she did or dirty tools or what but I left in a lot of foot pain. I ask to leave kind of fast she looked at me like she wasnt done with my feet but it hurt so bad I just wanted to end the service immediately. I didnt get the set I ask for and showed a picture of and they did the set then when I showed they didnt match the picture at all they then told me they couldnt change it. My eye brows look the same as when I went in as well and I have broken out a little bit around my brows, that could have been that she basically just put the wax on skin then ripped off Im not sure. Please save your money and time and go somewhere else. Even if I received another gift card for this place I would not return. I would post pictures but Im not sure how to do that in a review.

Juliet Clark Don’t believe the hype! I’m giving 2 stars because the people were nice and the service was cheap. But the quality is lacking. First, they either pulled the wrong color or their example is not the same as what they use. That was unfortunate but the deal breaker is the quality. They did not smooth the nails. They are bumpy where the tip was added. Many of the nails are pinched in the sides. AND they didn’t match the lengths of each hand so the length of my left hand is significantly longer. I came here because people raved on Reddit but it should give pause they don’t have many reviews for the # of years they’ve been in business.

Dats Rite Customer service good. Prices are right! May take a tad while the staff warm up to you, but if youre a reg, you get good svs. They should update their reg OPI colors though. They already have GADS of gel colors!

Eve Orr I have been a client of Best Nails for at least 15 years. Lee and his staff are friendly, caring and professional. I feel I am among friends when there. The space is always clean, superb massage chairs for pedicures, and a great selection of polishes. Best Nails is a neighborhood salon with a cult following in Northwest Hills. have recently moved out of state, and make it a point to visit Best Nails every single time I am back in Austin. Mai and Lee are truly wonderful and excellent at what they do.

M J Ive only received a manicure (no polish) at this location, but I will definitely be returning soon for more services! Ive found that many places rush through a basic manicure, but the woman who did my nails paid great attention to detail. My nails look amazing and I couldnt believe the price when I saw the receipt! You receive great quality for what you pay for and I cant wait to get my nails done here again!

Diffen Family Hours say they open at 9:30am, but we’re sitting here at 9:45 and they’re still not open nor is anyone answering the phone. They’ve already had one potential customer come and leave and we’re about to leave too.

amy wentworth To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. After my nail technician completed my nails, I brought to her attention how thick they were. We discussed the thickness, shape and length before she got started. I thought I had clearly expressed the look I was going for, but when asked to correct the thickness, I was met with a bit of a defensive attitude and an attempt to justify the outcome. Instead of sanding the TOP of the nail to reduce the thickness, she began sanding UNDERNEATH the nail; my actual nail and not a tip. I still wasn’t happy with the result but knew I wasn’t going to accomplish anything more at this salon. What’s worse, is the price was astronomical! I was charged $120 for a gel pedicure (with paraffin treatment) and an SNS manicure with no tips, no custom color or shape. I had to go to another salon and pay to fix my nails.

Jessica Farrell I never had the chance to leave a review on this place, so I’m doing it now. This used to be my long term nail salon, but one day I went in there to get my acrylics filled and expressed a concern on them snapping/breaking. This place is NOT cheap so when I’m paying almost $70 for acrylics there’s an expectation that they’re going to last. So I asked the owner (who was doing my nails to either cut the natural nail or make the coating thicker). She then proceeded to insult my intelligence saying… do you not understand that’s not the issue? It’s your nail. Ok well you’re the owner, I’m sure you can find a way to fix it and make me a happy customer, considering I was there every 2 weeks AND the quality was declining. In general, the atmosphere was always kinda weird too. People would come up to you and look at your nails and talk to each other and laugh. I do not recommend this place. They are rude and expensive. And the owner clearly doesn’t know how to talk to people. She is the reason I don’t go here anymore.

Karolina First time at the salon and already excited! Ivy gave me an amazing pedicure and managed to work her magic on my oh so very short nails. Even tho the color didn’t come out as I wanted she was patient and changed it to the one that was better. I really appreciate a good service and she certainly knows how to provide that. Kaitlyn Evans Just don’t do it. As per the other reviews, you’re taking a risk on who is doing your nails. Si did mine last time and it was great. Now time for my wedding nails and it’s horrendous. It’s too high a cost to have a bad technician. Yuilia was who I had today. The first photo was the inspo and the 2nd photo was the result. I told her they were too pink but the damage was done. The shape is bad and the design chunky. Made my pinkie bleed which normally I could overlook but paired with a bad manicure is just the last straw. Just don’t do it. Not worth the risk. $200 is literally a crime for such a bad nails. I went elsewhere to get them redone.

Epley Seana (Nosy Nancy) They were a bit nervous to an ombre on shorter nails, but she absolutely nailed it (pun intended). One of my thumb nails was broken and she did a great and invisible extension to make it match the length of the rest. Really really happy with the service! Nice even and thin layers, not bulky, and all the way to the citicle. I will absolutely be back, best nails Ive gotten in Austin.

Michelle The best nail care experience I’ve ever had. This place lives up to its name. My first visit consisted of removing the acrylic overlays I had and replacing with gel overlays. The entire process took just over 2 hours. The care and detail taken with my nails is perfection. I’ve been to this place twice now and have made this place my go-to for my hand nail care moving forward. My nail tech is just amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Brittney Byrd Beautiful, clean & simple - The best manicure I have ever had! This is my second time coming back to get a gel manicure and I am truly amazed. The manicure is beautiful but what I really love is the cuticle care. The cleanest my cuticles have ever been after a manicure! The first time the gel lasted for 5 weeks with no chips at all. Definitely worth the money.

Caitlin Jerome I have always had a great experience until my last visit. I was with someone new who clearly did not have the same standard or skill that I expect for the price. I brought up my concerns multiple times and finally felt too uncomfortable to keep voicing my concern. She did not ask before cutting my toe nails and the proceeded to cut them crooked and so short that they still hurt a couple of days later. She used a different technique to add extensions to the nails and I was assured that it would be the same, but my nails have never been this thick before. While filing she broke several nails multiple times and had to redo them. For spending over $300 and four hours I would have preferred to have better results or at least not be walking away in pain.

Morgan White I did not enjoy my experience here. I wish I would have just gone to my normal spot. I have an issue with every single nail. I simply wanted a refund for my nails, even though my pedicure wasn’t great either. They refused. I’m not super picky but for their prices I expected more.

Atalie Wu Susan is the best there is! She has been my nail tech for 3 years now and I absolutely adore her! She is so gentle yet detail oriented! She is the best at nail art and truly cares about the health of your nails! She’s so sweet and gives you the most beautiful nails in a timely manner. She listens to what you want and executes every time. She can do any design just from a photo. Her eye for nail art is truly unmatched! I never have to use acrylics anymore because she made recommendations for the health of my nails. My natural nail is incredibly long and strong now. If you want an overall 5 star experience, I highly recommend Susan!! :)

Sahiti Kaja I really wanted to love M Vince Nail Salon because the place itself is gorgeous and in a great area, but the quality of service is seriously disappointing. I’ve given them multiple chances, trying dip, acrylic, Gel-X, and pedicures, but every time, the results have been bad. My nails either break, fall off way too soon, or have uneven shapes. On top of that, they cut my natural nails so short that it was actually painful. Worse yet, they’ve cut me multiple times with the nail drill, and it hurts so badly. There’s no attention to detail or care, and for the prices they charge, I expected way better. And to make it worse, they pressure you into tipping a lot on top of their already high prices. The whole experience just doesn’t match the luxury look of the salon. Definitely not worth it.

Robyn McCray I’m very disappointed. I went in to get a color change on the acrylic that I previously had. When the nail tech got started, I told her I didn’t like the design and critique to her on how to change it. When we were wrapping up, I told her I did not like the design. Tina then proceeded to drill off the design and we headed to the eyebrow wax station. I still paid full price for a service that I didn’t like. As I was checking out, Tina then was very loud talking to the manager or receptionist about our experience. Once again, I paid full price. if there was any ill feelings about the service, it could’ve been expressed after I left instead of in my face. I don’t think anyone pays to get disrespected.

Kelsey Rodriguez I’m extremely disappointed with the service at this salon and will not be returning. After getting my nails done, four of them chipped and the gel started peeling off the same day. I had to waste my time and gas coming back to get them fixed, and this is how they look after the second visit—absolutely terrible. They were supposed to fix them, but I didn’t even receive an apology. Instead, I was told that they weren’t dry the first time and that my hand wasn’t in the light…(it was) that was but that was their explanation. This is not how nails should look fresh out of the salon. I can’t wait for them to grow out so I can get a new set somewhere else that’s actually worth the money. They look awful, and for the price I paid, this kind of service is unacceptable. I’ve attached a picture to show just how bad they turned out the SECOND time. (Scratched, dull, no shine of the ones at the end) I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nova Segreti This is the only nail salon I will go to in Austin. The prices are extremely reasonable and they do such a good job!!! Request my girl Huong or her husband Thang (I think is how his name is spelled. Her design work is flawless and his nail shapes are always perfect. ✨

Jasmine Hernandez I’ve always done gel nails and my nails have never chipped before until coming here. I called if I could get them fixed and they said they only have warranty those first 7 days. I understand their policy, but even then gel nails should not be chipping as if it’s regular nail polish.

Camri Deaver Oh. My. GOD. I loved this place! It is so relaxing and comforting to sit in. The nail techs were very sweet and polite - and mine was so incredibly attentive to detail! This is my first time getting fake nails and she did absolutely perfect. It didnt hurt once, I didnt bleed at all, and my nails look wonderful. I got nail extensions with a dipped nail coat. My grandmother and sister came with me to get their nails done with a regular manicure and left very happy! They said the nail techs were quick, efficient, and did a wonderful job. My grandmother even wants to come back with me sometime. (: Id also like to add that they have little scannable papers all over that will pull up the nail AND drink menu for you. We had an iced green tea and a hot Vietnamese coffee - which we enjoyed VERY much. They definitely earned me as a returning customer!

Luisa Pineda Thanh was great. He did refill of my builder gel with no color. Looks great! But he did the best hand massage ever I wish it would’ve lasted for 30 min. My regular polish pedicure was nice too.
