Eric Ward One of the best hospital experiences ever. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The nurses were some of the best. The rooms were big enough and my support had a recliner and couch that folded out to a twin. A++++ Rating

Binny This review is a couple of weeks late - the newborn phase has been knocking the wind out of me. As someone giving birth for the first time, my time spent in the Labor and Delivery department, and subsequently, the Postpartum Recovery department had been nothing but absolutely wonderful. All the nurses and techs that cared for me, especially nurse Pouline and nurse Misty, were so compassionate and professional that I couldn’t ask for a better care team. Really, they were godsends and I couldn’t sing them enough praises. The whole time, during one of the most vulnerable times of my life, I felt respected, informed, and cared for. Presby Plano has the reputation for being one of the best hospitals to give birth at in Dallas and that reputation really isn’t unfounded! I don’t currently have plan for another child but if I do, I wouldn’t want to give birth anywhere else but here.

Kenny K Called on 1/17 at 7:47am, and spoke with the front desk about a patient. Which a nice young lady transferred me to the ICU to tower C. For the nurses station. As I proceeded to ask about my moms health and current conditions, a VERY RUDE lady at the nurses station told me in the nasties way that my moms isn’t receiving any calls. That another family member was currently talking to her. She offered no assistance or reassurance for me. I’m so happy that iPhone now is able to record calls. The way she handle that call and simple question I highly doubt she’s working in the right field, since you constantly have to interact with people. Highly disappointed.

Ann Slayton I went in for a routine heart catheter in which there were issues during the procedure. Dr Boorla let my husband know I would not need to come see her again. After, no one from Dr. Boorla’s team checked on me before I left the hospital. I let the recovery nurse know I was having issues with my eyes and feeling nauseous. I was told this was normal for this procedure. At no point did the nurse have a doctor check on my concerns. I was released to go home and was not given any information of what to possibly look out for. Three hours later I was taken to another hospital due to being unresponsive. I would discourage everyone not to use Dr. Boorla and Texas Health Presbyterian Plano hospital.

Snehal G I had an amazing experience at the hospital thanks to the incredible nurses on the labor and delivery floor. Special mention to Nurse Pauline from labor and delivery. She was very attentive, calming, and so helpful in every aspect of my care. Forever grateful for her support. Also, Misty from L&D and Ammy, Milee & Renee from Postpartum Care team were amazing. They not only supported me physically but also emotionally, ensuring I felt heard and respected throughout the whole process. Even when things got complicated, they remained positive and kept me reassured. These nurses went above and beyond, and I will forever be grateful for their dedication and kindness.

Michael Carr They caused my wifes death by not turning on the heart pump when they moved her to the CCU from the ER. Then they ended up falsifying the death certificate. Very disappointing place. Then they called me down to the basement multiple days later and told me why I could not Sue them.

Jessica Huynh My experience at children’s plano was immaculate. I took my daughter in after i noticed she was having a hard time breathing. Everyone was so quick with us and made sure we understood everything that was going on. We ended up needing to stay the night & every. single. doctor. and. nurse. we had were over the top, they made me feel so comfortable and did a wonderful job. I will never forget my experience here. It was truly a nightmare seeing my daughter in the condition she was, but the doctors and nurses made sure she was going to be just fine! Thank you children’s Plano for helping my baby girl and making our stay comfortable.

Carlos Hiracheta We are new to this area and last night had an emergency with our 2 year old. He was transported via EMS, and by the time I arrived, the process to see my son was smooth and the staff were kind. Now, in the back, we were greeted with kind nurses. The two who cared for our son were Dr. Knox and Nurse Adrieene ( I think I misspelled) were great. The Dr was very patient and informative with us, and the nurse was sweet and compassionate with our son. We are very grateful for their kindness and how the overall experience was at this hospital.

Will Hendricks , I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care my daughter received during our recent visit. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warmth and friendliness of every staff member we encountered. The overall atmosphere was calm and reassuring, which significantly eased the anxieties associated with a hospital visit. However, I want to specifically acknowledge the outstanding contribution of Mary Jones. Her dedication and compassion were truly remarkable. Marys interaction with my daughter went far beyond the typical patient-nurse relationship; she demonstrated a level of empathy and genuine concern that was deeply moving. She patiently explained procedures, answered our questions thoroughly, and consistently provided reassurance, creating a safe and comfortable environment for my daughter. Her attentiveness to detail and her ability to connect with my child on a personal level made all the difference in alleviating my daughters fears and making our experience a positive one. It is evident that Childrens Medical Plano fosters a culture of excellence and prioritizes the well-being of its young patients. The entire teams professionalism and kindness were invaluable during a challenging time. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care we received and wanted to share our heartfelt appreciation. Sincerely, Will Hendricks

Adel Alaeddini Disappointing Experience – Long Wait and Unexpected Bills I took my child to this hospital after a small fall resulted in a minor cut on her chin. Since it was the closest option, I expected efficient and quality care. However, we ended up waiting for three hours, only for the wound to be treated with a simple band-aid. At discharge, I was informed that my copay was $300 (with insurance), which I paid. A month later, I received an additional bill for $263 from the hospital, which I also paid. Then, another month later, I was billed $250 for a doctor’s fee—bringing my total cost to $813 for minimal treatment. What’s most frustrating is that their initial bill stated that the total amount, including insurance, was $644, yet the charges kept adding up. The lack of clarity in their billing process has been very frustrating. I highly recommend looking into other options for care if possible.
