Linda Sanchez I’ve been a patient of Dr. Acosta since December 2022, and my VSG in September 2023 was a smooth journey from start to finish. Dr. Acosta and his team provided thorough education, comprehensive pre-surgery tests, and excellent support. My surgery went perfectly, and the recovery was smooth. Dr. Acosta, Shelby, Kathy, and Xochitl played a crucial role in my weight loss journey, providing motivation and support. I highly recommend Dr. Acosta and his team—they exceeded my expectations!

Angie Cabrera No one but Kathy and a male nurse can even pretend you are important, everyone seems to be waiting for a more important patient. I got all test done back in Sept and am still getting asked when and where I got all my test done, no one is taking it down to follow up with them instead I think the front office is looking for me to become a carrier and pick up the physical results and drive it to them. When I call I am asked a bunch of questions placed on hold only to be asked more questions. VERY unprofessional looking for another doctor because I cant with their front staff anymore.

Adriana Triste This place is the WORST!!!!! They NEVER answer their phones. I had my records transferred from Texas as well as a referral sent from my PCP. When I finally got someone on the phone to see what was taking so long to schedule me they said that they have no records and no referral. I know for a fact that they received my records because they called to tell me that they received them two months ago. Now suddenly my records are lost!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE!! This place is a joke.

Mary Hardesty Worst unprofessional experience after I cancelled my surgery 1 week prior due to personal issues. Since I could not explain my reasoning to Dr Lara’s expectations and somehow it was my fault a lady with breadt cancer was not going to get her surgery due to mine it had me wait 5 months to tell me he was not taking my case. Actually his nurse informed me that del sol and lad palmas would not take my case. Keep in mind all was approved and just had to pay the 700 dollars again that I paid the first time. And it is not like he lost money since he called that lady on Friday after he talked to me and was able to do her surgery. First of all Hippa violation, I really could care less about his other patients. I was his patient at the time and instead of talking or working with me he scolded me, then grounded me and then told me in nicer words to f off.

Sharon Nelson If I could give this place no stars, I would. I am borderline on qualifying for bariatric surgery. I self-referred and attended the informational seminar in Las Cruces. I told the nurse giving the seminar that I was on the fence and hadnt really decided whether I was ready to make the commitment to bariatric surgery. She told me to go ahead and make the initial appointment to see a surgeon in El Paso, which I did, expecting that I would get billed for a specialist visit; imagine my surprise when my insurance was billed over $1700, my portion amounting to over $300. The high cost of the visit and the fact that it was more than a "specialist visit" was never communicated to me prior to receiving the bill weeks after the appointment. That wasnt even the worst part. During the visit at the center in El Paso, the nutritionist met privately with me and told me that I had not listed enough attempts on my questionnaire to qualify for insurance to pay for the visit, and that I should go ahead and just make something up, she wouldnt tell anyone. My husband was in the room at the time and neither one of us could believe that she said what she did! The whole experience reminded me of visiting a used car lot and being subjected to high-pressure sales tactics. Needless to say, I will not pursue treatment at this facility.

Andrea Caldera Delivered my baby girl on Jan 6, 25 and I had the best delivery experience. The nurses were fantastic, very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. Labor and delivery, and post care was relaxing , the room was beautiful overlooking the mountains. Would totally recommend delivering at Providence Transmountain. I live off Hunter, but the drive there and back was what I needed to mentally prepare my thoughts.

Jimmy Moody If you or a loved one needs a knee replacement, then Dr. Torres/surgeon + Dr. Katy Ross/physical therapist is the winning combo! My 70+ years-old mother that acts 40, needed a total knee replacement in summer 2024. Dr. Torres exceeded expectations in outcomes and bedside manner. By the time my mom made it to outpatient therapy 3 wks after her surgery, her range of motion was spectacular, leg strength was returning and was stable on a walker. Dr. Katy Carson/PT took over with her expert knowledge as an orthopedic specialist and supported my mom’s progress back to walking without support up/down stairs, resuming her many responsibilities in the community and booked a visit to New York…within 5 months of surgery! Kudos, from the registration clerk to the outpatient team that rung the bell celebrating my mom’s graduation from outpatient therapy. And, although my mom doesn’t have a Google reviews page— you get a 6-star rating mom! Your perseverance and determination to live a life of passion, vigor and love is inspiring! Onward…

Jax kat My grandmother had surgery (stent for her heart pacemaker) and was rushed to be discharged the next day against her wishes and while still coming off anesthesia she was not coherent at the time due to the effect of the surgery medication and was unable to really speak up for herself. Her Medicare said she had the right to refuse discharge but she said a man practically bullied her out to be discharged, unfortunately at the time no one was there to advocate for her and I believe the staff took advantage of that opportunity to rush her out the door while she wasnt that coherent.

Ray Houston Providence Transmountain Hospital. The hospital is nice and clean. However when it comes to the nursing staff, the service is very poor. Many of the young nurses in the surgery area did not appear to have empathy for the patients. They were not friendly, attentive or caring. What was suppose to be a 30 to 45 minute surgery took 12 hours. There appeared to be with issues with the insurance company and the hospital management. I thought the insurance company had approved all procedures prior to the surgery. The group of doctors involved in my surgery were all friendly and informative regarding my procedure. Very unhappy patient.

KeriSu McDaniel Our experience upon arrival was wonderful! Everyone very attentive while there was an emergency. We were transferred from Ruidoso NM via ambulance. My only complaint at that time was the room and bathroom was not well cleaned and has remained that way throughout. Since the emergent is resolved, the aftercare has been moderate. We are getting conflicting information between the doctors residents and nursing staff. And that does not appear to be getting better. I am a retired vocational nurse in internal medicine clinic of 30 years. I do understand the problems that clinicians and nurses face, however, we need information not just orders. If it were not for this and the cleanliness I would have given an excellent rating. I feel everyone is knowledgeable and caring, just all need to get on the same page.

Virginia Mata My dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday around 8:30 pm. We are experiencing a nightmare. The nurses assisting my dad from floor 1 are the worst. I had to complain because the lack of professionalism assisting him for his needs and technically the nurse invite us to leave and go home. My dad has not eaten since we got here. It has been already 14 hours. I gave them the list of the doctors he sees and they did not call them. They wrongly said that my dads cardiologist doesnt come here but she was wrong. I had to call personally my dads primary doctor for help.

Laura Martinez We had the worse experience ever. My daughter has multiple chronic illnesses and we unfortunately have had to visit numerous hospitals since her diagnosis. We arrived at the hospital shortly before 5am with my daughter in extreme pain, and GI issues. Dr. Lopez at the ER had the worse beside manner and was even visibly/vocally annoyed that she could not provide a stool sample. She was told she would be admitted at 9 a.m. After that she was pretty much neglected for hours even after she pleaded for pain relief. It took about 5 hours for any pain meds and she was told they put her on NPO even though a urologist had briefly seen her and stated he did not see a reason for surgery. When asked why she was NPO, they would say her Dr. placed her on NPO. Although her Dr has stated otherwise. When she finally broke down due to being denied fluids and pain killers, an ER nurse (who was not her nurse) named Bianca rudely, aggressively and unprofessionally began to tell her that she is not their only patient and that there were other patients that have been there longer than her, she then aggressively was telling her to sign an ADA form and leave. As my daughters nurse walked in to try to calm her down, Bianca continued to walk down the hallway loudly mocking and making fun of my daughters break down. My daughter finally received pain meds and I requested an AOD, which they sent the charge nurse instead. We explained the situation to him and still requested an AOD. Hours went by and I again approached the charge nurse requested at least ice chips for my daughter since she had been there over 12 hours and it was clearly passed any surgery hours. He finally allowed her to have about a quarter cup of ice chips and an AOD named Uli finally addressed us. We explained everything from the beginning to that point. He assured us he would push the complaint up and managed to get her juice and a room just so that she could be placed on NPO as soon as she got to the room. He assured us that he would check on her during the night to make things right and he NEVER returned. My daughter continued to request her home meds which are about 15 meds throughout the day. The nurses would just say that they had to check on the orders. My husband called the hospital and spoke to a male charge nurse named Luis on that floor explaining that it had been 2 days and that she had not received any home meds. My husband was asking for answers as to why it has taken so long and requesting someone above the charge nurse. The charge nurse ended up hanging up on my husband and my daughter still did not receive her home meds until the next morning. Nobody ever followed up on the complaints until my daughter went on Google and left a review. A lady went in my daughters room and stated that she was never made aware of any of the complaints and that that was the first she heard of anything (the google review). Even then my daughter was told to focus on the nurses that do good but nothing was mentioned about addressing Dr. Lopez or the so called nurse Bianca or the medication issues. By looking at the other reviews, we are not the only ones addressing concerns about Dr. Lopez. He is obviously still at it. We will never return to that hospital.

nena rodriguez I am extremely disappointed with the medical assistants at Dr. Radu Ciubuc’s office. They are never in the office, and it’s nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. On the rare occasion someone does, their attitude is unprofessional and dismissive. The customer service is abysmal—they seem completely uninterested in helping patients and don’t know what they’re doing or talking about. It’s clear they lack the basic knowledge and skills needed to provide proper support. This office needs serious improvement in staffing and training. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity.

Laura Letty Rubalcaba Hello new patients: I do not recommend this medical facility. The Dr.s are great. Unfortunately the office personal are not. The office manager needs to have empathy with patients. She never cracks a smile and seems to get bothered when you need some assistance with scripts. Office personal never goes the extra step to get things done. When you call its always answered by an answering machine. They never return the calls. Office is closed on Fridays so you need to wait until after theweekend. Good luck to new patients. Im done!!!!!

Elisa Sierra My mother was admitted for pain control and possible transverse myelitis. During her stay they discovered 4 fractured vertebrae. They attempted a fast improper discharge. At which point an appeal with Acentra Health who run compliance for Medicare. She was threatened by two different staff members on Saturday that they would not help her or provide her care anymore since they printed out the paperwork. The “case manager” threatened that she would be fully responsible for the bill in the event that appeal is denied which again is a lie. Then today I had to rush over to the hospital because the nurse was again pushing discharge prior to the appeal decision scaring my mom. I informed the nurse Sarys that discharge was not to be discussed until the appeal discussion was made and she pulled attitude and told me she hoped my day got better. Really? Your staff is literally violating CMS guidelines and this is the response? Do better.

Kenny Slater My father was transferred from another hospital on a Monday night. After three days in the hospital they finally removed the fluid he had in his chest preventing him breath breathing correctly. Was told be several doctors on the forth day he could be discharged with continued outpatient care. Its almost 5 ockolck in the evening and still no doctor to give final say on discharge. Its seems this hospital tries to keep you as long as possible to get more money from insurances. If no doctors shows up soon, we will take my father out and follow-up with his doctor back home. Staff were good and explained what was needed but slow in getting the information from attending doctors.

Some Girl Trust me on this and dont go to this hospital. Im going to a different hospital next time. Providence Sierra is obnoxious !! Some people there are obnoxious!! they make a person mad with their ugly attitude especially when you acted calm and nice the entire time and there is no reason for them to be obnoxious . they also dont help you bathe . I had that problem at the Providence before . I was in so much pain and I could not walk AT ALL yet they never helped me to take a shower or even said anything about it and are we as patients supposed to beg . Thats ridiculous..if you are in the hospital for several days then you need to shower and for them to actually help you if you need help in that way and that was a different time when I was there for close to a week . they put incorrect info on discharge paperwork . They even gave me incorrect antibiotics while I was in the hospital . then they took me off it and said there was a mistake and that it got tainted when they were testing me for that . they claimed gram positive and had me on alot of vacamycin and then they took me off it saying they made a mistake and told me I did not have gram positive to begin with ...yet they had already given me A LOT of that antibiotic before they realized their mistake ..They also dont send your medication to Walgreens after they said they would, and your forced to go back to the hospital to ask them to send the medication order to Walgreens.!! they also dont test you for what you need testing for when you go there even though your doctor office has you go to the hospital for a specific reason .. some people act rude and act like a holes . they literally rush you up out of the bed as if you are a race horse instead of waiting outside the room ...instead of being polite and waiting outside your room then they get all up in your face and act very rude and they dont act right . They Stand in your face as if they are wanna be cops instead of simply waiting literally a mere 2 minutes for you to get up . Thats upsetting and extremely unprofessional. Acting like that for no reason ..its El Paso tx so alot of people dont act right or do things correct at medical offices even causing you to wait an entire month to go to physical therapy simply because they did not do their job and fax the order to your insurance ... stuff like that, that is serious mistakes . you wonder whats going on and whats the problem and its a fault on their end and not your fault at all

Rita Vasquez I was transferred from another hospital to here and from the gecko I was greeted by RN Linda. She make sure I was comfortable and gave me medication on time. RN Linda was nice and reassured me that everything is going to be OK. The second night I had RN Ricardo and tech Edgar who were extremely professional and friendly. On the second, night I was able to finally shower and tech Edgar made sure I had everything I needed for my shower. The night before I had my surgery ,tech Gabbi, shared that she too also went thru the same procedure and I was in good hands with surgeon Crecca. To RN Linda and Ricardo and techs Gabbi and Edgar, I cannot express how thankful I am for all of you. The hospital itself could use a little updates with its machines and a little pluming maintenance done. But over all it was a okay hospital.

Pamela McKeever My husband had a an appointment today and when he got there they told him it had been cancelled. No call, text or email. Very inconsiderate of the staff not to inform patients when appointments are cancelled. Now if it was the other way around he would be charged a fee for not showing up.

P B Again, presented for an appointment only to be told "they tried to get a hold of you yesterday" to cancel my appointment. Untrue, because of work, I always have my phone on and there were no missed calls nor any messages canceling the appointment. No consideration for my time whatsoever. I even got an alert on my phone this morning asking me to check in as it was "time for my appointment". And I JUST got notification that my appointment was being canceled, 2 hours after the appointment.

BIG SM1LING_ (MUTE.) The staff is absolutely terrible. Me and my mom went to go get her cast redone because they did it bad. The first time were the pain was so unbearable. They made us wait one hour and when they brought us in, they lied to her and said she could have no one come in with her Moments later they were going to takeoff her cast and called her overly dramatic because it cut her two times and when my mom asked for someone else, the nurse went to the doctor and said it was her fault because she can’t do her job right when it’s clearly her fault not only that my mother is kind and wonderful and lashed out at her because she was nervous because she was cut twice. I do not recommend this place to be honest. I am willing to sue.

Michelle Ohagan One of my Doctors is located at the Murchison office. I have been seeing him for over a year now. The staff has always been pleasant up until a couple of months ago. The new staff at the front area are so rude. They are new and desperately need training in customer service. Their names are Lizzette and Veronica. Lizette has the worst attitude among them all.

Erica Salas If I could give a 0 I would...I showed up for my appointment 6 min. late, the receptionist decided to ignore my check in and assist 3 other patients...fine no problem. I even went up there at exactly 315 since other receptionists showed up to the front desk and I asked them if I had done the right thing...and they both said yes. So I sat down. Well...I get called at 320 and Martha C. tells me that i showed up after the 15 minutes they allow patients to run late. I ask for the office manager and guess what? She is gone for the day...surprise, surprise. Needless to say, I just left. Oh and they said that since i no showed the dr. had already left for the day. So, heads up and keep in mind that if you show up and they dont call you its your fault...you shouldve known better...you should know how their office works, policies, procedures, scrubs to wear that day and their systems as if you worked there.

Alyssa Silerio Horrible experience. Took my son to be seen for a cold he’s been having for over 3 weeks. I wasn’t able to get an appointment with his pediatrician so the school nurse suggested this place. I walked in and was treated by two nurses very polite and welcoming. Once Dr. Gonzales walked in and she asked what was going on, I began to explain to her and she seemed to be in such a rush, cutting me off after every sentence. Then she said I didn’t need to bring him in the emergency room and I told her that the school nurse had suggested to bring him in because of green mucus and shortness of breath. She kept insisting that I shouldn’t have brought him into the emergency room. Keep in mind my son was the only patient they had at that time.Super unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome and dumb.

Lucia Rodriguez Horrible experience!!! I brought my 4 year old in because he had been having a fever all day long the day before. We were never able to brake it so we decided to being him in. The nurses were very polite, but as soon as Dr Chitnis came in he started scolding as to why I should’ve treated the fever at home. “If it’s not bothering him, if he’s watching tv and eating a snack at home, just let it be and let it pass”, well that’s why we came because it WAS bothering him! he had a very nasty attitude. It seemed like he was upset that we came in the first place. All the time I was talking to him he made me feel stupid and dump for bringing for not knowing that a fever is not to important if the kid is not complaining…: RIGHT! I have to adminy the situation got the best of me, and I didn’t stay quiet. He never came back to see us afterwards, he always sent the nurses to talk to us. Will not be coming back here. I do want to say that the nurses were amazing!

Nancy Aguirre It used to be a great place but all they care and take the most time is doing the registration part, Dr. Chitnis Subhanir is the worst, he misdiagnosed me he didn’t even took the time to check me or making or answering questions, I don’t think he understands the language or just simply doesn’t care also nurse Alexis a female was very rude and rushing me to not ask questions or answering them or helping me use the restroom and stopping other personal to asist me all while I was in a wheelchair. Never coming back to this place and for sure I’ll call my insurance letting them know all I got was Tylenol to see how much it cost. I care about my treatment to be better so definitely this place will not be the one helping me or any of my family and friends

Ceci Navarrette This place doesn’t deserve not even 1/2 a star. They have very unprofessional and irresponsible staff. We took our 12 y/o nephew to be seen and had his vitals taken right away. However 3 hours later my sister had to remind them that they were still waiting to be seen. Apparently the staff had forgotten that my nephew was waiting in the lobby. The staff thought that a simple apology would make things ok.

Cindy Sanchez The average cost of an ER visit without insurance is $2715. I have AETNA & this visit costed me $2600. Not only was my son misdiagnosed but their prices are outrageous. Do not recommend this place at all. Oh and let me add, there was no CT done, no iv fluids, no meds other than Ibuprofen.

Brad Smith The worst place nursing staff intake service are total bitchy. First day I went Iwas there more then 12 hours I was bleeding internally weak lots of pain. I was sent home after getting a shot of morphine. Told to return if I was still feeling the same. Went back the next day spending 8 hours +. Nothing was happening never got called never told placement I was in line. Watched as intake people would degrade old sick patients. When I asked the nurse guy at sliding door. He said if I wasnt happy leave. Theres real sick people here. I guess when your bleeding internally in pain weak have congestive heart failure. Doesnt count as illness. I thought they hired idiots to work there. Because that place was so poorly organized. Dont take an elderly patient there because I watched this over weight lady doing intake screaming at this poor elderly lady asking if she would be there much longer. There very disrespectful. And here we are giving them more money to throw more into there pot so they can pay higher up staff more money. Dont worry they will be back real soon for more money. Instead of wasting money rebuild the hospital it so out dated. Quit wasting

Ryan McCullum I would give this hospital 0 stars if I could. My aunt with stage IV pancreatic cancer with mets needed a central line placed. They sent two residents to place the line in her ER room. I walked in on the charge nurse pulling both residents out of the room to report them because they were found placing the line without masks on, ruining the sterile field. When asked why they thought it was okay to perform an invasive procedure on a cancer patient with a compromised immune system without a mask, I was told by Lakshmi Kattamuri, M.D. that “we only need to wear masks for droplet isolation patients.” I’m so unbelievably disappointed to know UMC is teaching their residents that they can pick and choose which invasive procedures receive a sterile field and have no issues with exposing compromised and critically ill patients to further risks.

Christina Tomlin been here since Monday night at 9:48P.M. . Mom fell down and hurt her head lots of bleeding and has had strokes in the past which is why the ambulance brought her here. It is now Tuesday 4:52 A.M. and she has still not been seen. They drew blood and had CT scan done and wrapped her head with gauze. No one has asked her she is when I told them she was experiencing some pain was told they would add it to her notes. Nothing done and when asked how much longer they said they cant give an answer. Asked for meds again and wait time again told they had to wait for a Dr. This is a horrible way to treat a person.

Ramo Namzug I have to agree with recent visitors about the attention one receives when attending this Hospital. Unless your having a stoke, heart related, or bleeding out. The care is very slow in process. The times I’ve brought my parents, the care and attention to what a patient may be going through is horrible. If you attend this facility for care, expect to spend the day there. We arrived at around 11am and and waited for CT Scan results after 5pm. No updates or explanation as to process of what the plan of action is to be expecting. I highly recommend Urgent Care services that provide less waiting results and plan of action. I pay attention to details and observation is key to my reviews, . Another observation was the lack of antibacterial wipe downs to the chairs needed after dismissing an emergency patient for protection of any kind of contamination. Notice the clock on wall, was still waiting. Only the next shift nurses (Evening) wiped down all the chairs and I formed us they were the nurses taking over and followed up with us. This world, some do and most dont practice a positive creed.

Allison Clare Lillie This place is horrible. I went to the ER here because I was told to get a STAT CT scan from the VA. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours. Went back. Got wheeled to the scanner. The guy in scrubs ran into a gurney where another patient was also in pain and continued to wheel me. Not even to stop and check the lady on the gurney. I come back and my anxiety sky rockets because 1. I’m in a little crossing area make shift into a room with a cloth divider. 2. I come in to a possible TBI and they keep me in a brightly lit area. 3. I tell them I’m nauseous and they didn’t bring me anything for 30-45 minutes. And 4. I see a big ass tray of cookies at the nurses station where I see all the techs and nurses just laughing and giggling and cussing. I thought waiting at WBAMC was bad. Never coming here again. Thank god I wasn’t bleeding to death. This is by far the most ridiculous visit and care here. I hate it! If it weren’t for the STAT CT I needed, I’d be out!!!

On the day of, Amy called me to see if I could go in earlier to ensure the radiologist in another city was able to read my test and give me a diagnosis on the same day. She was helpful and patient. However, when I got to the front desk to take care of my billing, Julie O took care of my account. I had registered online to avoid any issues, thinking I had done my part. However, as soon as she started talking to me about my account with a belittling tone. “She said your payments will be more.” I didn’t know what she meant, so I asked her the reason why, I thought maybe interest. Her answer was no, “your monthly payments will be more, because of your payment.” I then again asked her why, then her colleague probably saw my confusion or frustration, she kindly explained to me the reasons why. This is not a proper way to treat any patient, or anyone when they asked questions regarding a payment plan when your balance is more then $600 with insurance. This was humiliating and frustrating having to deal with such disrespectful employee.

Janice Flores Went in because my heart rate hit 168. I have a history of SVT took my betta Blockers on the way there. So while I was at the hospital, they decide to release me. I clearly told them that I took the medication and that’s why it’s normal but as soon as I get up where it was off, it’s gonna go back up. they didn’t care they sent me home in such a rush. I started feeling horrible and my heart rate went back up like I said I decided to take a shower took my shirt off and realized they didn’t even take the IV off after being told not to be driving with my heart rate increased like that When I call them to tell them they forgot to take it off. They tell me to go back I’m literally telling them I have two kids with autism that won’t walk to the car. My heart is already increased. I can’t carry them. They clearly told me not to drive And they’re asking me to go if they were so concerned they would’ve sent an ambulance or fire department to come take it off instead they send the cops to my house in the morning. Wow they were so concerned. My heart rate is still increased. I’m just waiting until tomorrow when the cardiologist opens. Funny how they tell me don’t wait when it is increased. Come to the ER but when I go, they send me home because it goes down with the pills and then shoots right back up when it wears off.

Roman M. Worst hospital experience Ive ever had. I understand that emergency rooms are busy, but when a patient is in serious pain, simply saying, "We’ll be with you soon, sir," while offering no real help for hours is ridiculous. The only thing I remember them helping me right away with was for my insurance info. I specifically remember hearing one of the staff members in the background say, "We need to get him out soon for the next one." Zero consideration for my well-being. I might as well have stayed home and toughed it out rather than paying for an overpriced bill for literally no help. To make matters worse, their billing department is a complete joke. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU! Not only is it impossible to understand the outsourced representatives, but I was also given false information about my payment, resulting in me being double-charged. It felt like talking to an AI bot just reading a script. Avoid this place if you can.

Rachel Ibanez I came into this hospital to discuss possible fibroids. I was recommended Dimitrievich, Elizabeth, M.D. The first interaction I asked for an ultrasound or IUD replacement. She did an external abdominal exam and said I was fine but booked an IUD insertion. When the day came I waited from 2:30-5 (standard). When she saw me I asked for the transvaginal ultrasound again she said it was shocking I knew those terms. Offered another external abdominal exam, I said she didnt find anything last time. She said I was springing this on her. She still made the request. Going into the IUD insertion I asked for numbing. She said that didnt exist and it wouldnt hurt. I told her Ive experienced this procedure before, but she dismissed me and said it wouldnt work. I said I still wanted it. She clapped her hands and said it was time to begin. The process was extremely painful. Afterwards she asked if I had taken ibuprofen before. I said no. She said, "that was stupid". I told her I how long I waited and it probably would have worn off. Never going back.

Christian Perez I went to the OBGYN today, and it was an absolute nightmare. The speculums they used were filthy and utterly revolting. I couldnt believe the level of negligence and lack of hygiene. I made sure to take pictures because it was so disgustingly bad. They seriously need to get their act together and clean up their act before they make someone sick.

Mayela Guerra I am 6 weeks pregnant. And I got an ultrasound done by Dr. Rolon, who is mentally slow, and doesn’t give you the right information. He simply doesn’t care and he wants his insurance money. There was apparently no embryo in the gestational sac, according to their medical devices. They didn’t do anything to inform me of what it could be, and offered no resources or help. Fearing for my life, I wanted a second opinion, and Dr. Rolon REFUSED a needed referral in order to receive that second opinion. We ended up going to a different state (New Mexico) to get that second opinion, and turns out there IS an embryo in the gestational sac. They also don’t communicate with each other other at all. I stated MULTIPLE times, to multiple people, that I had gave the wrong last menstrual cycle at the first appointment weeks prior to this. Long story short, Dr. Rolon was clearly never updated about the wrong given date, because he was still under the impression I was 9 weeks. Smh. COMMUNICATE, hire new caring doctors, and PLEASE get new medical devices before you send women into absolute fear.

Priscilla Saenz Have been going here for a while thinking it’ll get better but just keeps getting worse. A few months ago I went in just to get an injection and they took over an hour to just take me in. Mind you other patients that arrived later than me were being seen. Turns out, they don’t know how they skipped me and another patient who had also been waiting over an hour. Whatever, mistakes happen. However, I went in today and same thing over an hour in the actual room waiting just for a cervical check. Whenever I’m seen it’s less than 5 min and Dr. Montes seems to not care at all just in and out. They don’t even tell me to follow up in the front just walk out and I have to go ask someone if that’s everything and if I can leave. Well the reason I came to write a review was because today as I was wide open exposing everything the MA opens the door, mind you I’m on the table with everything showing and the curtain was not closed. She didn’t open the door fully but I still felt uncomfortable. However she then she does it again!! The doctor was finishing up but I was still on the table and she open the door wide open and I quickly covered myself. She did not apologize or anything. How is this okay? I’ve been patient with this clinic but I will be moving now.

Sydney Betancourt Been here for over an hour for my appointment, with no relief in sight. First appointment of the day, office was locked when I got here. I dont know how you can be backed up in appointments for the first appointment of the day. Its always this long of a wait and makes receiving care a whole ordeal. If it werent for the limited medical care accessible in this city, I wouldnt come here for sure. Guess Ill be seen sometime in the future. Update: was seen after all of this and although it was quick and kinda rushed, but she was more helpful than any doctor Ive seen in this city as of late.

Laura Tee During my first appointment examination Dr. Jose A. Torres pinched me twice with the speculum. It was so bad that I almost cried and even his nurse present was as surprised as me. It was so painful but I know it wasnt intentional so I decided not to think anything of it even though no other doctor had been so rough with me like that before. We agreed that hysterectomy was necessary and that we should schedule it asap. I worried about his pulse at the time of surgery because it is a risky procedure but I just tried to stay positive. My second appointment was scheduled for an ultrasound and to discuss results and future surgery. I came in with my husband and asked if it would be okay for him to be present only for the results and surgery discussion, I needed him near since surgery is a huge thing and he is my support. If not verbally, to let him know by paper or call. To my surprise the lady that checked me in very rudely said "if you want to be with him you have to wait outside" and almost kicked us out with her hand signal. She meant outside of the clinic not even in the lobby! Even though the lobby is very big and there was only 2 other patients there. We walked outside as the staff was just laughing and I could see and hear how they were acting so unprofessional! I couldnt believe it. My name was called by the ultrasound tech and I told her I was waiting for the doctors answer. She said "I dont know anything Im only going to make your ultrasound". She also was insensitive to my concern. I dont know how they told Dr. Torres my request but they came back to tell me that the doctor wont let my husband in or talk to him. I understand times are challenging with covid19 regulations but I have never felt so unwelcome with any other doctor like I felt here. It is his loss, he lost a patient and surgery compensation. There are many good doctors out there but he is not one of them. I do not recommend this doctor to anybody.

Elizabeth Chavez Poor poor clinic. Staff at the front desk is terrible. They don’t answer the phone, it takes me at the most MINIMUM 3 calls to get through and that’s on a non busy day, during peak times, your call never goes through you have to find an alternate number. A particular lady named Gina works in the front and says they will do things for you but don’t. She claimed she would update my personal information and phone number on my file but didn’t,. I had specialty services trying to reach me for my son but they couldn’t because she had the incorrect number in my profile after I had pointed out to her that they needed to fix it. Stay away from this clinic, worse services and staff. The ladies in the front claim they’re doing they’re job and taking phone calls but all they do is chit chat, take long lunch breaks and text on their phone with their super long nails. Very unprofessional, there’s no supervision. When you go make sure you write down your appt days and times because the ladies at the front don’t know how to do their job and will mess up your appts. Good luck!

A. Rodriguez I spoke with the most unprofessional human being ever. She puts me on hold and then after she answers the phone, she laughs the whole time. This place is a joke, and so is their professionalism.

Wolf Rivers It is sad to see this hospital in such conditions. This hospital, as far as I know, has been in existence since 1950s. They cannot renovate some of the chairs. They are worn out. With the amount of money it produces, it should have better things.

Alejandra Villarreal The treatment of the ultrasound staff is horrible. I had to wait more than 45 minutes for them to say that they would not transfer my daughter because there were many patients ahead. The nurse was rude and wanted to raise her voice when telling her that she had more time waiting and said that she doesnt even count!! So what do they realize?

Shirley Roden Ive been there a few times for myself, you dont have to wait long, they get you back to the doctors very fast. The best hospital on that side of town. The one closet to downtown.

Isaiah Narvaez I can’t speak highly enough of this hospital. Everyone! the staff, nurses and doctors were all highly professional. I was always a little worried about having my first son but they provided us with everything we needed. Experience, support, care and everything for our newborn. I am convinced this is the e best children’s hospital in El Paso. There’s also fast food places a walking distance away. They made our stay comfortable and worth while providing us with tons of information on how to take care of our new born, breastfeeding and even post care. Words or a review can’t express how I feel about this amazing hospital. I knew when I walked in that day I was in the best care El Paso could provide.10 out of 10 hands down. PS- I even got a free meal voucher and was able to stay with my significant other and new born for two days no questions asked.
