Robin Schwalb I visited the emergency room on 1217 2024. I was discharged at 4:31 central standard time I went in around 1 o’clock. I had fallen and cut my leg which needed numerous stitches and Staples. Everyone that treated me was nice. I felt I got really good care. Everyone was really thorough. I’m afraid of needles so the girl that put in my IV sing Christmas carols with me to take my mind off of it. I just can’t tell you how what a great experience this was. I am very grateful. I had a really bad wound and I just felt like everyone went above and beyond to make sure I got really good treatment and that I was comfortable and my pain level was managed.

John Hattaway Do not go here. Wish I could leave one star. After going to Dr. Falins office because my kid had Covid, I was hit with a 3,500 dollar bill for a 15 minute dr visit. My portion was 660 something. My insurance covered the rest. I’ve been trying to get an explanation for over a month. I did get an itemized list of what they tested for and it was a bunch of unauthorized stuff( not covid). I was told “ that’s just what we do”. The same day I took my son to a different Dr. for a second opinion. They did the same thing, covid test, wrote him some scrips for the symptoms and it was a done deal. 71.00 dollars. Why does Sweeny Community hospital cost 3000 dollars more? Nobody can answer this and they just ignore you by not returning calls.

Keep it real I used Sweeney Community Hospital nearly 6 months ago in October of 2023. I paid them when I left, and I thought that was the end of it. Well, in the mail I got a bill for some odd 580 dollars, nearly 600! A month in a half later. I got the bill for 3x the amount I paid when I walked out.
I already paid nearly 200 and they didnt even give me any medicine or prescriptions. The doctor told me,"Get eye drops. Theres nothing more I can do with this equipment." He spent less than 10 minutes with me to tell me "eye drops". I spent nearly 2 hours waiting for anyone to look at my eyes. Then after 10 minutes eyedrops.....
And Sweeney Community Hospital has been hounding me ever since. They got my email wrong, the number to call for assistance was wrong on their bill that they sent me, and I even reported them to the Medical Association of Texas. Then and ONLY then did they realize they got my email address wrong. And Juliet the accomplice officer is still "requesting" the money. I told her I needed financial assistance, and even with it the bill would still be 328 dollars. In total, 660 dollars. (Thats a month and a half of rent.)
Either way I paid them enough for the amount of time the doctor spent with me, for the "medical advice" of eyedrops, and for their unprofessional mistakes. They said emergency room visits arent protected by the "No Surprise Act", and yet they sure didnt act like there was an emergency. They had me wait, and wait, and waiiit. They called it a "level 3" visit. It wasnt treated like it was.
You didnt cut me open, you didnt save my life. Stop trying to contact me. Im telling you to stop. Just stop. Its getting out of hand. Fix your problems. You got everything wrong. Whos to say the doctor wasnt wrong about the diagnosis, huh? My eyes hurt and felt weird. At some point, I thought my eye was going to pop out of my socket. It felt soooo uncomfortable and pressured...
The eye drops only eased the symptoms not imrpoved them. Im now using organic castor oil chemical-free hexane-free to put into my eyes. And you know what it actually helps and alleviates my pain. It soothes my eyes. And only cost me maybe 25 dollars for 16 oz bottle that I only use two eyes drops in each eye every other day to combat allergies and eye strain. And itll last me a looong time. Not 5 bucks for eye drops less than. 75 oz and only lasts maybe a few weeks.
I literally use 100 dollars a month for food. Im broke. I cant pay. What more do you want?? I paid what I paid you with tips from my job that I had saved for 6 months.
And in January (2024) I was homeless and slept in a car for two weeks (it wasnt my car I dont have one). Its been a rough year for me, and I dont need your crap. Acting like this demanding money I dont have. For a Community Hospital you sure dont serve the community.

Jenn Hair Was taken to Sweeney Hospital by ambulance with symptoms of a mild stroke. Had numbness on the left side of my body from my face to my feet. I got there & the “so called dr” came in there ordered a Chest X-ray & a CT Scan. Had those done & literally never saw another soul until about 2 hours later when some lady from administration said it was time for me to go home. I asked her well is anyone going to tell me what is or isn’t going on?? She sent the same “dr” in to talk to me…. The only thing we can contribute your symptoms to is an upper respiratory infection. There is no medical reason to even diagnose me with an upper respiratory infection. Literally sent me out the door without so much as hope u feel better or anything. Never have I felt totally ignored in a hospital like they made me feel, like they didn’t care at all about my well being
Well today I’m going to my dr to get some answers… but I realized today what this could be. And if I’m right & something happens to me u can bet they will get sued!! So if u have a wish to die Sweeney hospital the place to go!!!

Crystal Lowe Had my annual mammogram today at this wonderful Community Hospital. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff was excellent! Very concerned, efficient, warm, and best of all no cold hands! The loveliest touch was coming home with some cool socks and a really good emery board. So fun. Thank you Kelly Park, kudos to you and your entire staff.
