Jenny ODell Today, I want to reflect on my big day!! I had surgery to fix my fracture/dislocation, which is known as a Lisfranc injury, and I can honestly say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. I had the best care at Texas Health Hospital in Frisco TX, and it was so refreshing to be in a place where patient care is truly prioritized. From the moment I arrived, the experience was top-notch. The personal touches, like my husband having his own concierge, really made a difference and added a sense of calm during an otherwise stressful time.
Normally, I’m on the other side of healthcare, providing care for my own patients. I’ve worked in the clinical & surgical setting before, and now, in my current role, I’m still very much involved in the healthcare world. But today, I was the patient. It’s a completely different experience, and it really gave me a new perspective on how important it is for hospitals and staff to treat you like a person, not just a number.
As I focus on recovery, I feel incredibly blessed. I’m so grateful for my surgeon, the entire nursing staff, and the beautiful facility that made this experience as smooth as possible. Now, it’s all about taking it easy and unwinding as I recover, but I can’t help but feel so thankful for the care I received. It’s a reminder of how much of a difference compassionate healthcare can make. #lisfrancinjury #surgery #thepatient #texashealthhospital #dallas #frisco #patientsarepeoplenotjustbodies #wetreatyoulikefamily #patientsfirst

Michelle Nisar Gave birth here in December and had a very good experience. The nurses in labor and delivery were kind, attentive and supportive. Normally wouldn’t eat at hospitals, but wow, they have great food! Husband and I enjoyed the celebratory dinners the following day which tasted like restaurant quality. All the other meals were delicious too. The hospital itself was clean, new and visitors were always allowed.

Executive Coach FACHE Recently came in for a potential cardiac concern. This has to be the most professional staff in north Texas! They attended to me quickly and professionally. The nurses were simply amazing and the physician was spot on! I have worked in care delivery for many years and have not experienced this this level of service in at least 25 years!
Bravo THR!!!

Danielle Crais This hospital is the best hospital I have ever been to. From the facilities to the nurses and doctors- it has all been top notch. Dr. Chase Nickerbocker was an answered prayer to my grandfather and his need for gallbladder surgery. He validated and eased all concerns of family members before and after surgery. He and his surgical team stayed late to get our grandfather’s surgery done after a busy day of hospital rounds and his regular clinic hours. Every nurse and hospital staff we have encountered the last four days have been nothing short of wonderful!
The hospital is just beautiful and doesn’t feel like a hospital at all! The rooms are big and the waiting rooms feel like a nice hotel lobby.
All hospitals should be and feel like this!

J B I received an emergency surgery removing my gallbladder. Worse experience of my life! The incisions were sloppy and left bloody. Pain and concern was blatantly ignored. I was rushed to leave same day, as my first surgery I was in excruciating pain and agony. Confused and frustrated I begged as a nurse pushed me literally out of the hospital bed to walk immediately after surgery to allow me to manage my pain before I was rushed. Because of this I was completely ignored and not educated on anything pertaining my recovery! I felt alone, I was in pain and unable to breathe at times. I told nurses that my pain was unbearable and they informed me that it’s nothing they could do because the surgeon wouldn’t care or help! I was horrified! The next day I woke and I went home after being treated so badly and ignored. As I left with bruises from my neck area to my groin and dried blood everywhere. I was given no antibiotics as well as 15 of the same medication I stated wasn’t working well for me. So now I’m left home in extreme pain bloody and no education on what’s what or how to clean myself lost making appointments to get help elsewhere and I’m hoping that they have done my procedure correctly! I regret removing my gallbladder as I feel gallstones felt a lot better than the agony I’m experiencing now. I WOULD NOT LET TEXAS HEALTH FRISCO PERFORM ANY PROCEDURES ! I will be holding the team that left me like this liable!
