Sara McCumba I had a great experience! Daniel was very helpful. He did a great job starting my IV for contrast administration. I have small veins so sometimes the nurses have trouble finding my veins but he was able to get it on the first try! I was very happy. He explained everything that was going to be done and took great care of me!

Tootrue Start Center provides complacent care. The doctors are nice but incompetent and passive. They don’t stand up to insurance companies and they don’t fight for patients.

Tony Phelps After a recent surgery, Dr Harb came into the room at the hospital, introduced himself, and gave us a business card. Requested that we make a follow up appointment after discharge. We did not since an oncologist was not needed. We did get a bill for $588. No idea if they are good medical providers but their insurance claims and billing are lightning fast.

Pamela Round I had a very rare pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor called an Insulinoma. Only 6 to 10 people per million get this each year. The surgery for this is difficult and I was encouraged from different sources to go to MD Anderson in Houston or Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I choose to stay in San Antonio instead. There are numerous complications from this surgery and I was concerned about needing to travel back and forth to Houston or Rochester. I am so glad I made this decision. The START Center and all the doctors I was referred to here were outstanding. I would like to say a huge thank you to the numerous doctors that healed me including my endocrinologist Dr. Michelle Welch, my oncologist Dr. Scott Ulmer, my surgeon Dr. Steven Abbate, my interventional radiologist Dr. Hosam Attaya, and my gastroenterologists Dr. Michael Piesman and Dr. Alejandro Pruitt. All of these doctors played an instrumental role in healing me. I was suffering from this tumor for 6-7 years before these doctors got involved. As a result of the tumor, I experienced hypoglycemia in the low 40s each night. I had to eat every 2 to 3 hours and gained weight. I would only drive for 30 minutes due to issues with low blood sugar. I couldn’t exercise due to blood sugar dropping. I couldn’t travel because then I was dependent on restaurants and had issues with blood sugar dropping if not served promptly. But now, as a result of these wonderful doctors I am completely healed and have my life back. I can diet and have lost 18 pounds. I can exercise, drive long distances, and travel. Many miracles have occurred in my life due to these awesome doctors and of course the very best doctor of all My Lord. I am so glad I stayed locally and didn’t travel to MD Anderson Houston or Mayo Clinic Rochester. I am confident I received the very best treatment here locally and conveniently. Thanks to all for giving me my life back!

Gabriel Reyes Thank God for Nancy! I was really nervous about getting blood drawn. The whole time she time she made it a peaceful experience, which is really good because I have bad anxiety. She even lightened the mood with harmless joking. I literally didn’t even feel the needle go in. 5stars to Nurse Nancy! May god bless her and the staff they were all so nice and accommodating and patient.

Cynthia Calderon I was transferred here for a emergency apendix removal I was on the 8th floor 12/30/2024 the night nurses were really nice and sweet made sure my pain was well controlled and the MA there were also really nice. The day nurse on the other hand was rude acted like she was the only one doing her job and would frequently forget me then would blame every one else for her actions. Overall my stay was good. I dreaded being there during the day.

DB Kennedy UNETHICAL. Tells women they have to be married for 5+ years to be eligible for an IUD, and has denied women IUDs who want one based on this. This is absolutely not the case. Anyone who wants an IUD can get one. It doesnt matter how many partners you have or how long you have been in a relationship. This is unethical. His license should be revoked for discrimination against unmarried women and women who have multiple partners.

Alexis Amos Today I thought the tears cried would be from possibly hearing my babies heartbeat on my first sonogram but instead its tears from a failed second attempt of finding a good ob/gyn office in San Antonio, Texas. My appointment was at 10am, arrived at 940am, they didnt tell me nor were there signs saying they only accepted cash/checks so we had to walk down the street to an atm, and then I watched 3 people who got there after me go before me. After 1.5 hours I took a urine test and after another 45 minutes my vitals were taken and I was put in a room. By 1245pm the Dr still had not seen me and my bf was already an hour late for work so I got my money back and left. On top of that I had to pay $20 for parking since I was there for over 3 hours.. (only paid parking is available at this office) I was a new patient but was literally only there for a sonogram since they had all my info from another Dr I went to 2 weeks ago. I was recommended Dr. Chen by 2 close friends who are also registered nurses so I trusted their opinions, but after reading the reviews I see people either have a 5 star experience or a 1 star. Chloe the receptionist was helpful and kind but everyone else I met there lacks professionalism.
1 /5
Dominique I have been coming to see Dr Chen since 2021 and he was amazing with both of my pregnancies. His staff are also professional and kind over the phone. Even though the wait times can take quite some time, he is still the best obgyn doctor and knows what he is doing. His personality is always hilarious and takes my health serious even after I had both of my children.

Mr SA Very knowledgeable. Doctor Chen has delivered 2 beautiful babies (HIGH risk) for us - Thank you ! Doctor Chen will Not sugar coat anything, so he is not for snowflakes ! If he’s late to the office, duh -he delivers babies, which come out when they need to! Dr Chen 10 Stars. Thanks for Everything Dr. ! And I know for a fact he works with “certain “ mothers with some certain needs. So before putting him down, look in the mirror !

Akonye Angela MD

(33) Reviews Akonye Angela MD:

Nicole Morris My first visit was great. I arrived early and had minimal wait time to be taken into the back. The Dr. Was running behind due to the delivery of a baby, but the staff was very apologetic and gave me a choice to wait or reschedule, and I chose to wait. Once she arrived, the communication with Dr. Akonye was amazing, she listened to my concerns and we made a plan that works for me. I felt like a person that was heard and understood and not a number to meet a quota. I highly recommend making an appointment with her.
5 /5
Lisa Bianchini Dr. Akonye herself was overall “fine” I suppose. Saw me for maybe 2 minutes. Didn’t do a breast exam or ask any overall health questions. Waited 2 hours in the waiting room. Since then, every 3 months it has been a nightmare to have my birth control prescription refilled. It is either never approved or I have to call and call to get it refilled when it’s supposedly automated. Never had such a problem with a reoccurring prescription before. Don’t go to this practice, not worth it.

anca nicodim Cut your belly open! That is what Dr Akonye said to me referring to a c-section of course. Had me on the wrong treatment for months which made me chronically anemic from severe bleeding. Missed a huge 9cm fibroid for months while under her care. They never check on their patients. Oh and the clinic! The staff at the front desk are so rude! Gave me the wrong pee cup with someone else name. They do not know what they are doing and it’s frightening! They also charged me incorrectly and had to call insurance so they can reimburse. I left The place running and scared! I would have been still suffering or worse had I stayed With Dr Akonye! Malpraxis and no bedside manners! She had no compassion and said she doesn’t know how to treat me?! A doctor?! It was a fibroid they missed! Also place is dirty inside the bathrooms. Hope admin reads this but probably not! Contact me if you do!

Alexandra Calloway This is a bit delayed, but here we are. I had a single appointment with Dr. Akonye for an annual preventative exam about a year ago. I was in a new city, trying to find new doctors, you know the drill. There were three other students in the room, which is great because I am all for learning; however, the only thing I remember from the appointment that has stayed with me was that Dr. Akonye commented on my ingrown hairs as my legs were spread open with four sets of eyes on me in the room. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and made an already vulnerable experience 10x more so. I have moved since then, but if I were in the same city I would not be seen by her again.

christina martinez This is for the Westover Hills Women’s Center location. Dr. Is considered Specialist OBGYN so they will charge you for the specialist fee on your insurance , I paid $200 out of pocket when I expected to pay at most $70. A week later, I had to call about my Lab results and ask what the follow up was and I had to ask them to send me medication for my results. I did not receive not one phone call from my doctor about my results or what they meant. This was my first pregnancy and it was considered a high risk, Dr. Akonye asked me if I had questions I told her I didn’t know what to ask, she told me to bring in questions next time and that was the end of our appointment. I wanted to fax all my documents to a new OBGYN ASAP so I went in person to sign a medical release form and requested they FAXED all my documents to the new OBGYN ASAP that day, I called my new doctor and they still hadn’t received my information, I called again and they told me it would be sent over the next morning. I called this morning and STILL not a single thing was faxed over, I called one more time and this time they said all PA’s are busy and would call me later, but usually it takes 5 to 7 days to get my paper work FAXED. NOT ONE single staff had explained how it would take 5-7 days to FAX over information the 3 times I contacted them, it took me 4 different times for them to say this to me. Overall horrible experience, would not recommend this place for first time moms . Save some money, go to a OBGYN that also practices primary care. I promise you this experience has been unnecessary stress I did not need.

Lydia Gonzalez I’ve been wanting to write this review for a few months already. I’ve been here many times for sick visits and honestly, I always have wonderful service. I have to also share that my friend mentioned to me that she was very impressed with one of the young men there. She said his name was Jesus Aguillon. She stated that she had to get her blood drawn, but the nurse couldn’t get her. She has always been hard for the nurses to get her veins so they end up poking her in the hand. She said the nurse brought over this young man in wine colored scrubs to try and he got her in her arm on the first try!! She kept gushing about him. She also said he was very pleasant and had wonderful customer service. Thank you so much Jesus Aguillon for making my friend feel very comfortable and giving her wonderful service. I truly appreciate you. God bless you. UH, make sure to take care of this young man, it seems he’s one of the good ones.

Angie Cruz Personally I had a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, attentive, caring and reassuring. I recently had surgery and my nerves got the best of me, but meeting with all the doctors and nurses eased them. The bedside manners from the nurses were amazing. Thank you for a great and comfortable experience.

Marcie ONeil I don’t understand why it takes well over 2 hours to wait after a baby has eye drops put in to get the eye exam done. The wait time is horrendous at this place in Pediatric Ophthalmology. I felt very frustrated at the end and my children were over being patient. I understand they give you a “Hey you could be here for up to 4 hours.” Wow do they literally mean it and it makes zero sense. It seems like the staff moves very slow and lack customer service skills. Extremely disappointed. The healthcare system is truly broken.

T. Darnice Houston My mother was seen there this past week. I learned this weekend that she was dropped on a gurney by three staff members as they were transferring here between gurneys. I also learned from my mother, who by the way is 73-freaking years old, that these three staff members laughed and joked about not being able to move her AND dropping here. Needless to say, once I make my phone calls tomorrow I pray those staff members are terminated, or my mother who now has severe lower back pain will have one hell of a lawyer who will be instructed by me to work to have EVERYONE terminated!

Jim Cliffe I just returned from having 3 procedures done at Star Vascular and could not be more delighted and impressed with the combination of professionalism and compassion shown by everyone. Ive had 12 surgeries or procedures in the last year and rate my experience today at the very top from all aspects. I think today was typical with lots of patients, lots of demands on staff but I was in and out in 2 hours which included recovery time and believe it could not have been done more efficiently anywhere. P.S. I dont do surveys or write reviews but am so appreciative for my treatment today I felt compelled to tell someone.

DT23J Doctor Gee has delivered all 5 of my babies. My oldest is 17 and my youngest are 3yo twin boys. I would never want anyone else. I used to think Dr. Gee was mean during 1st few visits of my 1st pregnancy but shes just really serious about her job. I never got the sense that she didnt care. I came to love and respect her as a professional.
5 /5
Aryel M Dr. Gee is simply amazing! This is my first pregnancy and Im currently 38 weeks pregnant. I couldnt have chosen a better OB! Dr. Gee will spend as much time with you as you need and is never rushed during her visits with you. She will answer any questions you have and will explain things until you understand. Discussing the labor process and birth plan, I feel very confident and safe in her care. On the downside, wait time can range anywhere from 1- 2 1/2 hours, but this is due to the time she invests in her patients. The waiting room is a little unclean, and many of the patients are ghetto. However, Dr. Gee is such a great doctor that I can look past these things, as this is her only location. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gee!

Loving and Living I recently had 3 surgeries in one month and was told that if everything was ok my primary doctor would let me know and if he was correct about my diagnosis that I would receive a call from the office. My home nurse was here at my residence and we missed the call. I called back and spoke with the RUDEST individual that I have ever come in contact with. Because I have a very long name at times they dont have it correct. I only asked her if she could look it up a different way. She then said that I wasnt a patient and not at all in the system so she couldnt do anything for me. I then politely asked if I could speak with someone else and was asked who I advised her that I would like to speak with an office manager and she stated that they have over forty physicians and wouldnt go any further. I asked once again to speak with someone else and she literally hung up the phone in my face. I tried calling back and she hung up on me again. What she doesnt know is that my sister is ALSO a physician as well. And we WILL have a conversation with the physicians in this practice. If it happened to me ( a medical professional) it could easily happen to someone else. Our healthcare system is flawed because of individuals like this. I didnt call McDonalds I called an oncology office. Let that sink in.

Jenny Pawlak Im not even positive I had cancer! I went to stric for a biopsy which was the most excruciating pain Ive ever had and they said I was positive, had surgery on my neck and the ENT said not a trace of cancer cells, so when I went to ST oncology, they assured me they I did have cancer! Well, the first question I had was "Are my teeth going to be ok"? Dr. Suzuki assured me yes.Dr. Aluri is aloof and doesnt listen to what you have to say, hes only good for prescriptions. Well, needless to say,I was a happy person prior to Chemo/Radiation, a year to the day Ive had neuropathy,a bleeding ulcer, full historectomy and almost full teeth loss so before you trust them, make sure there is no alternate! Im 60 and really took care of my teeth, the oncology wants their money but are they going to pay for all my dental work!!! Im so sad, distraut, angry! Never felt as o much animosity in my entire life!

Nisa Nunes Went to the emergency room and the restrooms were so dirty. Idk how they allow children to use these restrooms. I also don’t see why they don’t have a diaper genie or something to contain the smell of the diapers if they are not going to take out the trash frequently. I told the staff at the desk about the restroom and saw 3 lady’s in purple wheeling trash bin around. Yet they didn’t go to the restroom to attend to it. There is no sense of urgency from what I seen. It’s sad that they are fully pact with sick kids waiting for an hr or so just to be seen. I feel bad for the kids/baby’s having to wait so long all while feeling sick. As the parents are trying to comfort them in a strange environment. I would expect more from a place that is specifically for children.

Cynthia Ramirez Please know I am leaving this review for the Santa Rosa on 151, Westover Hills. The hospital is not allowing reviews on Google. So I do apologize that I’m leaving it here. But I need people to know this. I am complaining because while in the ER waiting room. Veronica, the registration personal was registering between 4-5 individuals in earshot of everyone in the waiting room. I know this is a violation of confidentiality, and a huge compromise to the safety of any of the individuals/patients identifiable information that can put them at risk. I know Veronica knew better because when she called my husband to gather his info. I requested that she do it in privacy and not in a public place, surrounded by many people because she didn’t offer privacy with the others before us. She looked at me confused and had the nerve to asked me “When did I register others in public?” I pointed to the person behind us. Veronica was speaking to the patient no more than 1 minute before calling on my husband. I pointed and stated” You just spoke to her right now, I heard all of the her and the other patients information as well”. She pointed at the hall and stated she will take my husbands info there. As if that was her plan to begin with. This happen May 3rd at 9:00-9:35 am. Please check the cameras in the ER waiting room for confirmation of her actions. You will see her speaking to the patients and moving on to the next. If someone had I’ll intentions, they would of heard insurance information, bdays, address, email, phone numbers, Emergancy numbers, pharmacy info, payment methods. I know an ER may be busy. But compromising one’s identity and privacy should never be over looked.

Ashley Hunter My son has a serious chronic medical condition and the ER nursing staff was amazing and provided prompt medical attention to my son. However, the night shift registration personnel, Grace, was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to. I have been a nurse for 16 years and I have never talked to such an unprofessional and uncaring person in registration. I will come back to this hospital because this is where my sons neurosurgeon is, however, the director of admitting should reprimand their unprofessional employees.

Patricia Lopez Dr. Michelle Aliotta is an excellent doctor. She is professional, courteous, and compassionate. The clinic as a unit is wonderful. But they are very busy and those small breaks would negatively impact their efficiency. I appreciate them all..

Brooke McIntosh Called to make a same day appointment with my PCP and the receptionist with the nastiest attitude told me my provider was on a half day and I am not allowed to see any other providers... Making it seem like it was my fault. My favorite part of the interaction: "We can refer you to an urgent care because you can only see your assigned provider." "Ok, which urgent care should I go to?" "Whatever one you want." She had the nastiest attitude, didnt offer me the next available appointment and frankly wasnt helpful. This was not my first bad experience with their front desk staff and I will be finding myself another PCP. As a healthcare provider myself, I understand policies and being busy but the attitude is not excusable.

Amber Gonzalez I don’t understand the bad reviews on here. Sometime you’re the problem!! I absolutely love this office. From the front staff, the awesome nurses, to the Doctors. You have to treat others the way you want to be treated and they were amazing from start to finish. Thorough in my check in, to my concerns, to my check out. The facility is clean and easy to access and one of the nurse treated me like a daughter. So professional and kind. Dr. Garza is amazing as well and I left with all my concerns and questions answered. It’s not easy to find a GREAT doctor so I am glad I came here!. I will be recommending to everyone I know.

David and Ruthie Wu I had chosen Dr. Michelle Aliotta as my primary care doctor after my previous doctor retired. Her office was initially out of the MedFirst on Stone Oak Parkway and eventually moved to this location. Although this was further for me, I loved the care that Dr. Aliotta gives. I know that she sincerely cares for me in the questions she asks and the time she takes during each visit. Over the pandemic, our visits have become telemedicine. I think the technology we tried around June had a few hiccups. Eventually, we were able to connect and talk. Our communication outside the appointments has been mainly through the portal. Thankfully, shes pretty responsive. I will say that when Ive tried to call the office before to talk with her, its been very frustrating. It seems that they really dont want you calling on the phone. Yesterday, I stopped by the office to drop off a little Christmas cheer to thank Dr. Aliotta. Its good to see social distancing within the waiting area but Im personally still not too comfortable visiting in person yet.

Alexander Worthington-Lee Dr. A is fantastic but the staff is extremely disorganized, poorly trained, and completely oblivious to the concept of giving patients a good experience. Three staffers where at front desk area when I arrived. One was busy chatting with another patient, the other two were busy talking to each other. I stood there for several minutes and no one cared to acknowledge me until their conversations were finally over. A “hello, welcome, we’ll be with you in a moment” would have been enough. I was then directed to sit in the nurse appointments waiting area. It didn’t take long to be called in; but was frustrating to immediately be told that the scheduling staff made a mistake because the kind of test I came in for needs to performed early in the day. It was the middle of the afternoon. Thankfully the nurse felt bad that my time and hers had been wasted, so she offered to squeeze me in on a day that’s convenient for me. Go if you want a great, friendly, and professional doctor. Skip if you expect the place to be run by people who know what they are doing.

Esperanza Abundez Dr Draeger is absolutely amazing!!!! I cant say enough! She had great bedside manner, caring, tender to touch and in general. She truly is amazing! She knew me and my family by name and was always willing to hear me or. Not looking at my folder while I talked. She actually gave me the full service I needed when I was there. Im young and most other drs would say shes too young to be in my office, but not her, she was always caring and with a Huge smile on her face! I definitely recommend her. My insurance isnt taken by her office so I was extremely sad to have to let her go. If I had the financial means is go back and pay our of pocket in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend her!!!!

Whitney W Terrible, incredibly incompetent and condescending. Good luck trying to call the office, their hold times are insane. I complained about the wait after waiting for 2 hours for my appointment and they acted like I was crazy. They were supposed to submit to the insurance to get a med approved, they never did. They ignored my messages and when I finally got through they blamed the insurance company.

alma mendez The only complain I have is the waiting - PLAN on being in the waiting room 2 or more hours which is ridiculous . It would be nice if they were more considerate of their patients time . They need to stop overbooking its absolutely frustrating and annoying that they constantly do this .

Lisa Silva So far, very disappointed in the interest that they show as far as trying to get my son scheduled to get seen by a neurologist. First it was That they were waiting a week for Medicaid to approve the referral. two weeks passed by and I called to try to schedule and now apparently it’s gonna take about another week for them to “review” I don’t understand what is needed to be reviewed They haven’t even met my son yet… As weeks have gone by, I’ve noticed my son‘s behavior changing a lot , he went from being a super Happy, always smiling, or laughing calm baby to NOW ALWAYS being extremely fussy & keeps grabbing his head n crying .. his “ Episodes” have been happening a lot more consistently & It’s very concerning seeing this and not knowing what is going on, or how to help him out. even more getting the runaround from someone thats supposed to help us .

Rebecca Emerson My children’s care while in the hospital was fine. Follow up care has been horrendous. She needed follow up diagnostic testing to be done 1-2 weeks after discharge. We had to call numerous times and each time we were transferred from one person to another in an attempt to get orders for the diagnostic testing. When we finally got an appointment it was 5 weeks after her hospital stay rather than 2. The diagnostic testing was for a potentially life threatening condition. Then we received a bill which we promptly paid. Then we received a second bill for the same amount. We thought this was strange since our check cleared. So we called to ask why we received a second bill and the representative said “we received your check and it was cashed but not credited to your account”. So now we are on yet another goose chase to figure out where our money went.

SoRaya Feliciano Read below my previous post. Most importantly understand that if access to medication and the assistance of the nurses is not taken more seriously for the active military, retirees & their families this FACILITY IS NOT the specialist for our families. They need to pair up with DOD to COMPLETELY understand how to use the medical system for prescription. For the past two years I have made more trips to the office back and forth for the same prescriptions more than necessary. Also, it does not help that you are constantly rude to the DOD pharmacist because your staff is not trained in a contract you want. Furthermore, The treatment and care was phenomenal when we first arrived and in less than a year it has diminished. Do NOT take on more patients if you do not have the QUALIFIED NURSE & administrative STAFF for support. Previous Post 10 months from May 19,20023: The best neurology care my son has received since his fall. Dr Avula took his time studying all lab work and after some change of meds and detecting the specific seizure; my son is living a better life thanks to his diligent care and God’s hand.

Moore LBritney (HR Professional) I would like to say that Nurse Kira and Kids helper Lindsay were very amazing! They were so patient and helpful. Dr. Henri is the best kids Dr. I have ever witnessed in my life. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because we were there from 5:30 pm until almost 1am. Very slow hospital.

My arresting officer was nice , the detention staff were fair and overall a not that bad experience, I was in an out in 12 hours so I guess it’s not to bad now this is just on the intake part. The food sucked for sure but what did I expect, all the processing staff were nice and understanding to our situations.

Karley Harris Dr. Carballo worked well with my kids, although the front office is very unorganized. I have been up to their office 3-4x & every time i call them they never have record of me going with my kids. The system was down when I went the first time, but I showed up 4 more times after their system went down filled out information EVERY TIME & they have never inputted my information into the system. Therefore, anytime I need a refill they tell me I have to go in for an appt because “they need to make sure what was prescribed is working” when in REALITY they don’t know what was prescribed because they never set my profile up with all my personal information. Where is all of my personal information going?? How are yal prescribing medications to Patients & no record is being kept. Definitely do not recommend.

John Benavidez I have had nothing but good professional care from this clinic staff they take special care of me as a patient. Dr. Martinez is very busy in his practice the wait may be long because he takes time with his patients and not like other physicians that see their patients as if rushed 2-5 minuets max and you leave confused . Not the case with Dr. Martinez he takes the time address my issues, covers my plan of care, and give me detailed instructions. Reviews my lab work with me and I always leave knowing what I have to do to maintain my optimal health. I would not have any other primary care physician lead my health care provider team. Thank you all!

Cynthia Luciana Ramirez-Burrola My experience here has always been good. The doctors, nurses, and staff are always kind, attentive & helpful. The wait time can be long sometimes, but thats just the way it goes with Dr visits. Especially since it is always so busy there. The building and furniture are also very nice & clean. There is also a small convenience store there. We forget how fortunate we are to have such a place & people available for us. Thank you to everyone there for all that you do. I am very grateful!

yaz never answers the phone, and never answers mychart messages. AT ALL. it got to the point where i had to call patient services and have them find someone for me to talk to. no one ever picks up the phone here. instead of helping women, they continually let them down by not being there when needed. i’ve never been to a place that just absolutely refuses to answer the phone. bad business.

Rita Vargas Can never get anyone on the phone, never answered messages in my chart in time. Sent to university for preeclampsia, they sent me home with no concerns. Went to a different hospital with super high bp, I was 4cm & contractions were 2 min apart.. them not caring could’ve seriously hurt me and my baby. Thankfully the hospital I went to for second opinion delivered my baby safely

Roland Garcia DONT EVER PAY WITH CASH HERE for private pay! Evelyn basically told me she was billing when I called and asked for billing. During my office visit it came out to $90. I paid $80 dollars in $20s. So I owe the office $10 dollars. Somewhere in that office was $80 cash and more than likely she pocket that because now they want me to pay again. Bill me for $10 dollars that I owe!... People make sure you all get a receipt from this place! Dr. Shaikh is great, but that front desk is ruining it for him.

Wood Nancy (Satxcanary) Dr Shaikh is a very thorough cardiologist. He will not stop researching until he finds out what is causing the pain. The first time he saw me was as an emergency with soft tissue pain. The ER dr had given me 3 nitrostat before my pain diminished and my blood pressure returned to normal. Never once my pain reoccurred. Over the next 3 days in the hospital, he put me through all kinds of cardiac testing until he decided to do an untrasound for gall bladder, which I had assumed my gall bladder had been removed approximately 20 years prior to along with an elective surgery. As soon as it was found to still be in my body, a gastric specialist was brought in to remove the gall bladder was found.

Kristal Dugas One of the most unprofessional staff i have come in contact with . They do not communicate with each other and all tell you different information . Then call you giving a somewhat rude voice mail when you are doing what you are told to do and when i called back and let them know what they are saying is TOTALLY Different then what i was told and all they can say is sorry they did not tell me that . I went in to turn in something they had the lights off food all over and there kids all in the waiting area and then told me one appt and i didnt trust them so i called and it was not even the same time so ready to stop going here

Ashley Nicole Diaz I am a Registered Nurse that saw Dr. Katipally at the Robert B Green campus on 2/9/18 (Friday). I waited 4 hours to see him. I completely understand being understaffed and it being flu season, but techs/nurses/MDs were notably lax. Dr. Katipally told me that he was out of flu swabs, but presumed that’s what I had. I explained I had not had high grade fever and my illness was slow onset. He wrote for tamiflu (which is not helpful if you’ve had symptoms longer than 48 hrs, which he would have known if he’d asked what day I started feeling ill), an anti inflammatory, and Zyrtec (I do not nor have ever had allergies). Feeling worse today (Monday), I called the clinic asking to speak with him. The girl who answered said because it is an urgent care clinic, MDs do not take calls. Mind you, this would have been a two-minute phone call. This doctor is negligent to misdiagnose me. I have the same problem I had on Friday. This man did nothing but waste my time. I believe I have bronchitis as I’ve had in the past. Now I have to go thru the same miserable experience that I went through on Friday. This man shouldn’t even be practicing if he doesn’t care about his patients enough to sit down and take the time to diagnose them properly.

catherine morales Worst experience, shame on the nurse stations on 4th Telemetry. Rude and lack of communication with patient and family members! Do better and clean house! How can it be ok to have people sit on the floor bc youre too lazy to find a chair! How can you not know where the patient is after surgery?? Why add stress to families that are already worried? Where is your empathy? This location is a nightmare!!!!! If you can avoid this place, go to a different hospital!

Leonard Teniente The security guard or parking guard, whatever he is, is on a ridiculous power trip. I had dropped off my elderly mother for an appointment on Friday March 1st, 2024 in the AM and went to pick her up when was finished. She called me and told me she was on the way outside so I waited in the small drop-off zone in front of building on Quincy street. I was there waiting not even a couple of minutes and dude comes out with an attitude saying I cant park there. I told them I am picking up my mother from her appointment whose already done and coming down. He said it doesnt matter I cant wait there. I wasnt even "parked" and was not blocking anyone in since no one else was there to drop off/pick up. So I asked him sarcastically "So she has to be physically outside waiting before I can pull in here?" and he says with an attitude "yes". Some people cannot handle the smallest bit of "power" like this a*hole. I literally circled the block and when came around my mother was coming out and a*hole guard no where to be found.

L. Casares We had a horrible experience leaving after my husband had had an exploratory treatment for heart disease. We were on the fifth floor for almost 24 hours and for the most part we found the staff kind and helpful. Maria and Isabelle, nurses on that floor, in mid August 2013 seemed the most efficient and caring. RN Christina in the last part of our stay made our life agonizing. She told us point blank that we would wait 2 and 1/2 hours before she could even begin to check my husband out. Two and a half hours later she had not even opened the file as it was handed to her by another nurse when I went to the desk to inquire. She had other patients checking out too, she said; we just had to be patient (no pun intended, I think). My husband, a very patient man, finally stood up and said, "Thats it. Im done." When they saw the family leaving, the paperwork was completed five minutes later. Go somewhere else.

Donna Hillyer This was the worst hospital stay for my father. His nurse, Cheryl was very rude and should not be in Health Care. I called to get information on my father’s care and she stated “she didn’t know what I was talking about”. She also told me that she didn’t have time to be arguing with me when she was rude to everyone. This happened 1/1/21. What a way to start the New year
