María Elisa Huffman The office experience was really good. The receptionist was friendly and efficient, the MA/nurse was thorough and kind, NP Parra was amazing and made me feel comfortable right away at my first visit. I left feeling confident I will receive great care there. Then I went to the lab. That was a whole other story. Reception was rude, dismissive, unhelpful…. The wait was long (an hour +) but that’s expected for a large practice. The pleb was efficient and the actual draw went quickly and well. Hopefully I won’t have to go to the lab very often or I can choose an outside lab.

Theresa P I’m baffled by the low ratings of this clinic. I’ve had no problems with this clinic..other than parking can sometimes be difficult..but that’s beside the point. The staff members are friendly, they get patients checked in quickly, and my appointments have not been longer than a typical appointment at any facility. Pretty fast, actually. I do use the MyChart app to make appointments and to send message to the clinic. Definitely helps with my needs being answered quickly. My family sees Dr. Petrikas. He’s a great doctor and takes time to listen and explain everything we need to know. My family is happy with his service and the entire clinic staff.

Bernice Rubio I booked an appointment to establish my daughter with a doctor within the Christus Health Plan. Our appt was with to be with Angela B. but she was seen by Doctor Minh Nguyen, MD. Most the visit was about how did she get in to see him, if we have a family member that works in the office that got her in because he is a very busy man. Meaning my daughters health was not of importance. She explained, ask your office reps, my appt was with Angela, our confirmation stated also it was Dr. Nguyen, but we thought it was for billing purposes, because they even had us call our insurance to change the provider name in order for the visit to be cover, it could not be under a NP. So we got no answers to health issues but mainly a reprimand for somehow getting in to see him.

Hadi Kooshiar I visited Christus Trinity Clinic on July 29, 2023, for an appointment with Dr. R. J. D. (MD - Family Medicine), a non-specialist provider. As a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) member, my copay for non-specialist visits is $20, which I paid at the time of my appointment. However, a week later, I received a bill demanding an additional $10, claiming I had seen a specialist.
Upon investigation, I discovered that the clinic inaccurately reported my visit to BCBS, stating that I had seen Dr. G. L. (DO, MS), a primary care sports medicine doctor whom I never consulted. Despite multiple attempts to correct this with Christus’s business office, I was repeatedly told, “We will review it,” yet no resolution followed. Instead of addressing their misreporting, they escalated the case to collections, subjecting me to daily calls and numerous letters.
Repeated efforts to contact the clinic’s office manager were ignored. Rather than acknowledging their mistake, Christus overcharged me and falsely reported my visit to my insurance provider. This conduct raises concerns about billing integrity and patient rights.
Patients should be aware of potential billing errors at this clinic. If faced with similar issues, I strongly advise keeping detailed records, contacting your insurance provider directly, and seeking legal advice if necessary.

Alan Nabors My Family Practitioner is Danielle Beyleu APRN, MSN, FNP-C.
On the morning of October 30 my wife & I were in the waiting room. I was there for an appointment to obtain a referral to a Cardiologist for arrhythmia. I was feeling bad before we left home. Shortly BEFORE my appointment time, I was overcome by waves of light headedness & heat, along with a racing, hard pounding heart. My wife notified the front desk and I was instantly in a wheel chair to a treatment room. Once in the room, it felt like I was literally swarmed by Danielle Beyleu and the people with her. There was no screaming, yelling indecision, or panic … what was happening was a group of highly educated & trained professionals took charge of the situation and without hesitation executed their training … treating my immediate life threatening issues while (it seems) others were prepping me for CCFD transport and arrival at ER.
I feel I my time as Submariner gives me a bit of insight into how fear, panic, & stress are overcome by education, professionalism & training , which was clearly on display at your clinic that morning. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that had this event not occurred in your waiting room and/or had every single person who came to my aid that morning not been as professional & well trained as they were, it’s highly likely that I would have suffered irreparable damage to my brain or my heart or death. My family & I will be forever grateful
