Opdahl Marshall “Skippy” compared to other hospitals this place is great, its a mental hospital tho so i hated it NOTES -some staff were extremely rude, but only to kids who were violent (eric told some kid he deserved to go back to juvi, i hate you eric) -pillows can be folded in half for more comfort!! -other patients were cool and just like me -food was way better than school food!! also if u dont like it, u can get a pb&j instead so yay! -some staff are so cool and treat you like their your friend, like T!! shes cool :3 -we watcg movies here, yay

Alaina Didnt help my issues, they let me out even after I was still depressed and harming myself (I made it clear I was because I was between wanting help and not wanting it) all they did was adjust my stay to a week and 3 days instead of just a week. Loved the group therapists though they were so sweet, dont remember their names but I went here back in October 2023.

Meghan Williams My child had to receive care here from both the inpatient and the outpatient facility. I highly recommend if your child is in need of any mental health care. Every single nurse doctor and behavioral health tech went above and beyond to make sure that my child received exceptional care while in their care.

Jessica Hammelev I would recommend this hospital to anyone in need. Intake was fast. I got a call every day with an update on my childs progress. Every time she called, there was a bright and happy voice. My daughter had no complaints about the staff. She was able to do activities that she liked. She did complain about the food and the bed being too hard, Not a big deal to me, its a hospital, not a resort. I was able to make an appointment to pick her up and not just to come and sit till they were ready. The staff are great advocates for a childs well-being and are willing to help with resources for aftercare. The facility is clean and smells good.

kalmanza81 Saved my son’s life, every staff member was kind and caring and made a tough time in our lives very comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about how my child was treated. If I can help any mom going through a rough time by saying choose Carrus, I hope you read this. I thoroughly researched places and was very pleased with how empathetic and professional staff was.

Amanda Johnson Second Update: I contacted them about never getting my prescription, they apologized and said they would call it in and STILL NO PRESCRIPTION CALLED IN a week after my appointment!!! No idea why this place exists other than to waste your time and money. Shame. On. Them. They were happy to take my cash but could care less about your well- being. Will be contacting the BBB. Update: Well changing this from 5 to 1 stars because just like the reviews below, the front office staff messed everything up and did not call my prescription in and now Ive got to wait with an infection for antibiotics until Monday. The phone number on here and their website is not correct. What a waste of time. Dont waste yours.... Came here last minute as a walk in on a Saturday and had zero wait, very good experience with the nurse and doctor. The negative reviews on here have to do with front office staff, not the actual care received. Dont expect a hello, smile or any kind of cordial behavior when you check in, front office staff is not or welcoming or friendly at all. But once you get in the back everyone is really great and doctor was kind and knowledgeable.

Lisa Dixon My kids have been going here for over a year now. Dr Top (can’t remember the rest of it) was awesome while he was a resident there. My son has seen a new doc twice with the swapping of residents, and he is great. He made my son comfortable with his previous scoliosis diagnoses, and the second time got to tell him he was outgrowing it. Trying to get my daughter in, but the phones are on the fritz. I just roll with it, but they may want to switch. As to the front desk staff, cut them some slack. I accidentally took one of my kids in an hour early. Let’s just say I don’t think Mr. Roger’s could take a day working there with what they put up with in person… I shudder to think what they deal with on the phones.

Jessica Anderson I dont go to the doctor often. When I called for the appointment I told them there were 5-6 things I wanted to talk about and get situated. When the dr walked in I was told to pick 2 of them. Then this particular Doctor told me that the one thing I wanted, a oral medication for Psoriasis I wouldnt qualify for- I have psoriasis on my scalp. The medicated shampoo is super strong and leaves me sick and topical creams and ointments leave my hair greasy and gross after application. He addressed the other issue I was allowed to talk about. Asked what pharmacy. Told him which one. I call the one I wanted it submitted to and they said they never received it. So I call Grayson County clinic back, to have them submit to the right one. They told me to call where they sent it to and have them fax to my preferred. Is it me... Or has this place gone downhill?

Katherine Myers I had a very good experience here. I was skeptical with it being a health clinic, but was pleasantly surprised with the whole process. I did not have to wait very long, the lady at the front desk was polite. My doctor was so helpful and very down to earth (Dr. Rassa) and I highly recommend him. I feel heard and seen and am fully on board with my treatment plan.

natalie selman I never leave reviews but our experience was bad enough, others need to be aware. My husband was taken here for a motorcycle accident by ambulance (so not our choice). The nurse we had was very hateful and you could tell she didn’t want to be there. The people who did the x ray didn’t seem to know what they were doing and took forever! My husband had a severe gash under his chin, they left it open as it was just bleeding and running all down his neck. I had to ask one of the nurses if it needed stitches. Her reply was “if it was me I would say no but I don’t know what his doctor’s preferences are.” He ended up getting 3 stitches after we told the doctor we wanted them. I guess they were just going to leave it open?? They also didn’t clean any of the blood off of him, I had to do it. I also had to get him dressed all by myself which was a struggle as he had a fractured elbow. They also weren’t going to even bandage or clean all of the road rash abrasions until I told them I wanted it done there. They were just going to send him home and I guess expect me to do all that. I could go on and on but needless to say I don’t recommend this place at all and we will NOT be coming back.

bblake89 The care provided by Allison and the entire team, including Mike, Tony, and Pat, has far surpassed my expectations. Initially, I was hesitant about choosing WNJ due to a common perception that it might not be the top hospital option in Sherman. In fact, we had planned for my grandpa to initially receive care at Baylor Scott and White in McKinney before he needed emergency assistance. However, after witnessing the exceptional dedication of the ICU team—respecting my grandpa, attentively addressing our concerns, and delivering a level of care comparable to the nation’s best hospitals—I am confident he is in the most capable and compassionate hands. I sincerely hope that WNJ receives the recognition, funding, and support it needs to continue providing this outstanding level of care to patients across Sherman and the Texoma region.

Janeen Brinkley I visited the new Womens Imaging Center for a mammogram and it was a wonderful experience. Easy to access, a relaxing time in a massage chair as I waited my turn, and kind, professional staff. This is a great addition to healthcare in Sherman.

Caroline Steinman It took them 3 and a 1/2 hours to get me in the back. I am sitting here now and it has been 45 minutes. You have doctors and nurses standing around giggling and laughing and talking about theyre everyday lives, while people sit around sick!

Kayson Wood didn’t answer any of my phone calls or messages then refused to give me a TB test in a timely manner. receptionist was extremely rude. i hope y’all’s day is awful

Edith Owens Everyone there is very nice. The nurses are nice the staff is nice and the doctors are nice but I also agree calling back it is a nightmare I was placed on some medication that you can’t go without or it don’t work while trying to get paperwork done in the right prescription For me now I’m sitting here without my medicine no one will call me back to let me know what’s going on. It’s very just disappointing and very frustrating. I’m 62 years old and I can honestly say I have never had an experience like this in my life. It’s enough that it makes you just want to cry. So instead of crying about it, I found a new doctor today one that has promised that they will not let me go without my medication and promise me that they will return my phone calls Very very happy and satisfied now. I hope when these doctors go out on their own and get their own practices that they have enough compassion to do a lot better for their selves, and what they are doing.now

Trashawna Stephens If I could give them 0 stars I would, I went in for a yearly check up on December 12th was told I would get my results and a call withing a week, it is now January 13th I have yet to have got a call, and everytime I call which is like everyday, they they never answer the phone or have yet to call me back. Which makes me angry and disappointed in their services. GET IT TOGETHER OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS, because I mean what is the point if your not going to answer nor return calls. Just saying

thats classified information Worst experience ever. I just went for shots for my child before school. We were the third person there. 2.5 hrs later and everyone who came in after bypassing we made it back. When asked why, "Im not sure what the hold up is" is the response. Just pay the price at the doctor or eat a big meal before going

Joseph Benson WORST HEALTH DEPARTMENT EVER!!!! My wife had an appointment at 3:20 PM. She was not called back until 4:10 PM. When she was cled back she was told shed still have to wait another 10 - 15 minutes. Why do they schedule you an appointment time if they have no plan on following through with it. The director personally told me they were backed up due to other people being in the back and if we had left we wouldnt have been charged any money. YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!

Laura Caldwell I had an unfortunate situation I had to deal with and recover in the hospital for 9 days. I was on the 2nd floor and every single person from housekeeping, techs, nurses, the mri tech, Drs., food service asking about food preferences - every* single* person* I encountered, on every single shift, including nights and weekends, for 9 days was so kind and helpful. I did not have one bad experience. It also happened exactly this way a couple years ago when I was there for a similar situation. They were completely amazing and that’s why I chose this hospital again. I can’t say thank you enough for being there for me during one of the worst times of my life. You handled me with such care and every single person deserves a raise. They can’t possibly make enough. Thank you so much.

N C I recently called Wilson N. Jones Regional Hospital regarding a billing issue, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Stephanie from the billing department. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful. She took the time to explain everything clearly and worked with me to find a solution that was fair for both sides. Janet Sutton After experiencing medical neglect at TMC we decided to come to this hospital. Never been here before. Had the best experience with every single staff person my husband and I encountered. Our RN Ashleigh was the absolute best. So sweet and you could tell she loved her job.

Robert Ortiz My son was brought in when he was seizing in our driveway and transported here. We arrived at 11:50 a.m. and only one of us was allowed in, so my wife went in first. She wasnt in there one minute when she came running out screaming that she couldnt do it. I asked why and she said my son was blue and purple all over and started screaming and caching his teeth cos he couldnt breathe. I asked multiple times for an update and was consistently told he was being tended to. Obviously, he was in distress and no one will update me. It is now 12:41 p.m.and I just got let in

From Coty in triage to Melanie my nurse and Dr James Frame is the sweetest and very efficient!!! I felt taken care of and cared for. So 5 stars Thank you all for making my visit as comfortable as possible!!!!
