5 /5 Robert Simpson: I recently had A-Tex do some work on my 1957 Thunderbird and it was a great experience. They replaced the wheel bearings, adjusted the shift linkage, replaced the transmission lower gasket to stop a leak and installed a temp sensor. They were very quick with these repairs and JR communicated often. Great classic car shop in North Austin.

5 /5 Tim Lasater: J.R. And his crew of highly skilled mechanics go above and beyond! I just took a unique vehicle in that required parts from overseas. I was expecting the process to take weeks and weeks… but J.R. kept in touch with me along the way and had the work done ahead of schedule and under budget. I have several older vehicles and I will be bringing each of them in to A-Tex Auto Repair for servicing and upgrades. Such a pleasure to work with this team and looking forward to future opportunities to work with them on all my vehicles! Highly recommend!!!

5 /5 Nicholas Boggs: I can’t recommend this place enough , I blew a fuel line this past weekend and I contacted my insurance for mechanic and they sent it to a shop that can’t work on it . I called JR and he told me to bring it over and had my car highway ready the next day ! Not only are his employees professional and very skilled as he is but the shop it self is very clean and has some of the greatest vintage cars you’ll see . All in all this place does it ALL ! They also have very great prices and he shoots it to you straight like an old school mechanic , I’ll be glad to drive the hour to Austin to make this my regular shop !

5 /5 Brandy Cykala: Look no further! A-Tex Auto Repair is where you need to take your vehicle. JR and crew are beyond top notch. They worked on my van around the clock to complete an AC installation. The turn around time was unbelievable with the amount of work they had to do on the van. They customized the AC install so that it could stand up to transporting dogs. When I picked up the van it was spotless! Totally detailed and that van was beyond filthy when I dropped it off for repairs. I can’t thank y’all enough JR and crew!
