Dr. Shimkus genuinely cares and gives us his full attention and time. We never feel rushed when sharing our concerns or issues with him. When recommending medication or treatment, I appreciate that he explains options and what to expect clearly. Hes compassionate, knowledgeable, receptive, and invested in the care and treatment of each and every patient. He office and nursing staff are just the same. If I had the pick of any oncologist/hematologist in the world, Id pick Dr. Shimkus every time.
