5 /5 Samantha Rummel: I am so thankful that Jason was able to help me. I was on my way to a VA appointment (and it takes MONTHS to get one) when my SUV lost power steering. About two weeks before, an incident occurred to where it felt like my transmission may have slipped. So in my mind I thought I was about to experience the worst crap of a lifetime. But that wasn’t the case. First, they didn’t charge for the time my car was in their lot— and it was the week of the 4th of July. And they really took the time they needed to figure out what the problem was because they were getting a lot of error codes. And they found that the alternator— which is had replaced elsewhere a month prior— was having a voltage failure. It was having spikes and then go down, and it was impacting different systems of the car. Which would explain the power steering “going out” and the transmission “problem”. Jason explained everything, and I really appreciated it. They replaced the defective alternator— which unfortunately I am not getting a refund for from the place that originally put it in, to the tune of $552–and I have my SUV back! ALL for under $1100… I was SO relieved. And I don’t know of ANYONE that could have towed, spent so much time doing such an in-depth diagnostic, plus the Honda alternator and labor, for this amount. It was MORE than reasonable. This place is just awesome. And I’ll be bringing both my car and my daughter’s car in for oil changes soon, and any other things that may come up in the future. Having a great mechanic shop/garage is extremely important to my family. And now we know that we don’t have to worry about that anymore, because we now have one.
