She is not only a skilled professional but also compassionate. Dr. Barsness always provided clear explanation and took the time to address my concerns.

Dr Barsness and her staff were so supportive and patient and walked all of us through the procedure and after care. My daughter felt confident and 5 months later she is thriving and a completely different young woman. Thank you Dr. Barsness for being amazing.

5 /5 Glenda: Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for this amazing person. She is truly the best. We came to her after years of uncertainty, not knowing what was wrong with my little brother. When we found out he had achalasia, we were overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. This remarkable doctor reassured us every step of the way, explaining the procedure in detail and even drawing it out for us to help us understand exactly where the issue was and how she would address it. What truly touched us was her effort to communicate with my parents in Spanish, as they are not fluent in English. She took the time to provide a visual explanation, making sure we felt informed and at ease. I wish there were more doctors like her in the world. I was heartbroken to learn she wouldn’t be seeing my brother for his follow-up this year, and I deeply regret not taking the time to personally thank her for the incredible care she provided. She gave my little brother a second chance at life, and for that, we will forever be thankful. I hope this review reaches her, and one day I have the privilege of expressing in person how much her work has meant to our family. Keep up the amazing work—you are one of a kind, and the world needs more doctors like you!
