Zilker Metropolitan Park - (TX)

5 /5 Ja De: This park is prefect for everything like picnic, gatherings, running or walking with or without pets, cycling and party. It have city view as well, River was beautiful had those blue cleared water which you can see through water creatures. Parking lots of parking space and bathrooms are accessible.

5 /5 Bryan Mendez: This park really is fun. The flat picnic area is so chill that it just has a great view of the city. Also this place is so fun for kayaking so Id definitely recommend giving it a try. The river is also really nice to swim in. Overall this place has so much to do so if you like hanging out, give this place a try. Also friendly tip, parking is weird but be sure to check the kiosk if there is free parking or not; saves you a parking ticket. Also also dont forget sunscreen and the bug spray!

5 /5 Rebekah Purcell: Had a great time walking the trails. Places where you can let your dog off-leash are amazing. Pretty view of the waters edge. Plenty of benches to sit on, most in the shade.

5 /5 Trevor Hollen: Great park. These parks attract all forms of life. Be mindful. Anything can happen. Parking and navigating around can be atrocious, so make a plan ahead of time. Having said that, be sure to see the turtles at The Point. Check out ZBG, and the Nature Center is fun for all. BSP and Eliza Springs are home of the Salamander. Simply the best!!!!

5 /5 John L.: It was our first time visit the park for trail of lights and we reserved for the shuttle service included admission. There was plenty of parking available but there was no direction on where the buses were . We circled around the parking to the other side until we saw the buses lining up. However once you are there. They set up the ticking system where it was easy to pick up and you are ready to board the bus . The good thing about going with the shuttle is that you dont have to wait in line to get into the event and they have the same pickup and drop off point so you just need to remember the last time frame they do the pickup. I like they have restrooms and vendors before the gate. Once the event starts at 7. The process is really smooth we got in within 10 minutes and there were plenty of photo ops and different stations for the kids to enjoy. I dont feel the need to check on maps since there was only one direction. I loved they added live performance and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Since its all walking I would say comfortable shoes and jacket are needed. Needless to say, we enjoy our time and would recommended anyone who wishes to check it out. There are free dates too and with inflation going on, the price and the activity and lighting is worth it in my opinion.
