Grace DeWitt My midwife Angie Miller is THE BEST! My first pregnancy I was at Puget Sound Birth Center in Renton and was very traumatic. Angie is incredible, she helped me labor in a way that out my baby in the best position for pushing and was so supportive. My delivery was perfect and it’s all thanks to her experience and kindness. She really cares. The other midwives I’ve met, Stacy and Tressa, are both really great!

Paul Schumacher I had to schedule an appointment a month out just to get a physical. The day before my appointment, someone at the office called to say Dr. Dimbal was canceling my appointment and would not be able to see me for and additional month and a half. No explanation, no concern for his patients. If you would like to see your doctor within three months of scheduling an appointment with him, I suggest you go with someone else.

Tami Butler Dr. Dimbil is an excellent family physician! He is knowledgeable, friendly, takes time to listen to your concerns, and always has had accurate diagnosis of my conditions. The staff is friendly as well, and I highly recommend Dr. Dimbil and this clinic!

Renee Adsitt Kaiser Tacoma Review Assistance at 3rd floor elevator lobby was immediately offered to my lost-looking face. She helped me with payment, directions, and billing. I was early for my appointment, and nurse was ready for me early too! My doc was awesome as usual, and consulted my opinion about a next step immediately at this appt, or waiting until next. I opted for immediately. New step for me to get neck shot for lidocaine so he could get camera scope lower for more thorough view of my airway. Great peace of mind. Then he told me there was request for labs for thyroid due, so got those done next. While waiting for my turn at lab, saw shoe inserts in pharmacy I needed. I asked Rx if I needed to pull a number for a non-prescription purchase. He said normally yes, but there is nobody ahead of you, so no problem. Went back down to pay parking and discovered I had not been there long enough to need to pay. Kaiser Tacoma made me feel like a queen today.

Melissa Bruce The staff and physician were very attentive. When I arrived the elevators were down and the check in individual, left her desk and walked me all the way to the stairs. I had needed a printed receipt and did not get it at the kiosk. The checkin team on the 4th floor were able to work together to help me get that for my FSA. The float staff was able to offer to take weight...very considerate and able to work around my sweater to get my BP which helps with how cold I get. The physician was able to add me to her patient load with my previous physician leaving and she picked up seamlessly, reassured me that increased activity would not exacerbate my symptoms, and recommended easy to follow diet recommendations that would likely help reduce my discomfort, which was over and above addressing how to safely taper prednisone. Overall, an excellent team that genuinely appear to care about patients who may be in pain.

Richard Lee First of all, I dont like staffs. They dont smile much and give me a feeling of discomfort. They treat the patients too coldly. The doctor comes into the room to see the patient and tries to leave quickly. I dont recommend this clinic

Brady Flotten I chose this office as my new primary care and went in for my first visit Jan 2024. I had went in seeking a referral for a personal procedure I was looking to schedule for this year, and after being thoroughly questioned on the reasoning behind my choice I was told that it would be difficult to get the care Im looking for and that "people like you are the reason the birth rate is going down". I believe this is an extremely unethical thing to say to a patient, as Dr. Kims job is NOT to pass judgement on my life choices, but to provide care to patients. As soon as I walked into the office Dr. Kim was short with me and I do not understand why as I was nothing but polite and cordial with every staff member. Whether it be my race, age, or something else I could tell Dr. Kim had a negative opinion of me and he was certainly not afraid to express it. Do not go to this medical practice if you want to avoid being patronized and youd like to actually receive the care you requested.

Cindy Wilbur Today I met Dr Samantha Hedges for the first time. She was very kind and patient. I had something unexpected that came up when she found debris in my cornea, and she ended up spending a lot more time with me than expected. She wasnt rushed, and she acted like I was the only thing that mattered at that moment. Its rare that you find a doctor like that with a warm bedside manner. I would recommend and trust her with my friends and loved ones. Very kind and personable

Catalina Khalaj Dr Anthony Mollica is an outstanding Podiatrist, a physician who is not only extremely knowledgeable and competent, but who also attentively listens to his patients complaints and genuinely cares about his patients wellbeing. Staff at Dr Mollicas office is also supportive and very efficient. I strongly recommend Dr Mollica and his team to anyone.

CeCe Olson I could not have made it this far without the doctors at this facility. From high blood pressure , finding many fibroids in my ovaries, to counseling me, guiding me, and supporting me all the ways to work through and educate me in a very hard journey as an alcoholic wanting to stop and recover. When doctors care about you, more than family and friends. that makes a huge difference in they way they care about your life and guide you to making a positive change. Ive never felt more support and kindness.

Deanna Thompson Was very streamlined. Got first covid vaccine. Was in and out in just under half hour which includes 15 minutes observation after shot. Other family members had bad experience at other hospitals with long wait times and lack of consistent distancing even with appointment. I had none of those issues at your hospital.

Geoffrey Cook This building separate from hospital is a joke. They are very unorganized, I get its covid but if you see (my wife) obviously pregnant and with twins and she asks what room and floor to go to, at least say the right one. We were late to appointment even showing up 30 mins early because we were told the wrong floor and even the first floor we went to we had to wait 20 of those mins because they had the door locked. We almost got our appointment canceled because of the miscommunication. I also couldnt go in for the ultrasound because they said to many people have covid. I find that funny that I was able to join my wife in the hospital in her room there but not at this location which is still next to the hospital. I also was able to join at another small building next to the hospital. We are on floor 3 at room 320. This is our first kids and I have been by her side for every appointment.

Marlene Suzuki My Mom was prescribed pain medication at the end of the day on Friday. Her doctor is Alain Lambert. The person I spoke with told me the medication was sent to Fred Meyer Pharmacy in Federal Way. My father went to pick it up. It was not sent there. I called again and was told that it was actually sent to Madison Army Hospital. He went there Saturday and waited OVER TWO HOURS since you cannot call in advance to see if medications are ready and it was not there either. I called several times over the weekend to get in touch with an on-call doctor to have the prescription sent to Fred Meyer. My Mom was in excruciating pain the whole weekend through all of this. I had one doctor call me back and tell me I had to come into the office and pick up a script for her. I was never told about a physical script. I asked them to call the prescription in. That was the only time I received a call back. I once called the main hospital because I was so desperate to get a hold of someone. That didn’t produce anything. Monday came around and I called the office. I asked for the prescription to be faxed and was told that it would be. I checked back with Fred Meyer and it wasn’t. I called again and spoke with someone named Alaina. She ended up walking over to her colleagues responsible for the task at hand and ensuring the prescription was sent over. She also told me a script had been written so there was some confusion amongst the staff. She was the only competent person I dealt with in all of this. I asked for the office manager’s number, Beth Smith, and left her a message about my experience. I asked her to get back to me and give me one reason why I shouldn’t file a complaint about this experience, including her. This was Monday. It is now Thursday and I have not heard back from her. I do not use St Francis system anymore since a few years ago when I had a horrendous experience at the ER and could have died, thanks to their incompetent and apathetic staff. Their healthcare organization is a joke. Do not utilize any of their services if at all possible.

C K Why bother to have a MyChart billing system? They dont bill correctly to your insurance, most of the time the balance showing on MYchart is incorrect. If you have multiple insurances check to see if they file your bills to all of them. So you try to call but the customer service teams arent communicating well. I have had a very rude customer service personal recently. Also, they never repose your emails (Mychart billing). I sent a billing question in Dec last year but never received it. What a joke!

Sharlene Bright Doctor Doug S. Kim is a doctor I am very happy to have as my physician. He listens to me, gives great advice, and the medicines that he has prescribed for my pain, and the exercises that he has given me to do have been very helpful. I’ve been going there for over a year now and have found that he is willing to hear me out. If I happen to get there a little late, it is rare for him and his staff to turn me away, and make me change my schedule to another day. They work hard to get me in as soon as they can. What I like about him most is, he is very pleasant, and very uplifting. It is always my pleasure to get to my doctor appointment with Doctor Kim.

Henri Ahlstrom Not for any transgender care, they said they could help me and I drove 40 minutes to get here. All I got was wasted gas money and time. They refused to help me and left me waiting in the room while the misgendered me in the hallway. Horrible experience.

When we have questions or concerns and its a busy day, the nurses get left a message and they call us back within a matter of a couple hours at worst. Couldnt ask for a better clinic for my little one. Will continue to come here as long as were in the area.

Afton Reynolds We have been going her for the past seven years. The doctors are above par, and they are very prompt Ive never had to Waite more than ten minutes and thats on a very busy day. I have four kids and we have seen so many different things from injuries to verging sicknesses and we have had every issue handled. I highly recommend this pediatric office

Moriah Dickerhoof I’m normally really nervous going into emergency rooms and worried about having to wait a long time but I was taken care of so quickly! Everyone was so nice, helpful and super thorough when explaining the details of my procedure with me. I was kinda nervous but the nurses and doctors taking care of me were really reassuring and helped put my mind at ease. Definitely would recommend and will probably continue going here in the future if/when I need a solid ER to go to. I’ve seen a lot of really poorly rated ER’s here in Seattle so I’m happy I chose this one.

Hilary Schleif My 6 year old fell on his face and needed stitches. I drove him to the Federal Way Multicare Emergency Clinic because it was the closest place to our house. After we got to the front, they admitted us right away. They took the time to learn about my son. He has SPD and ADHD. They brought some items to help him feel calmer, knowing he was scared. The doctor took the time to tell me what was going to happen and the nurse explained what would happen to my son at the same time. They gave him medicine to help him be calm and wrapped him in a blanket so he would not try to touch his face while getting the stitches. I felt like they did a great job of helping us feel calm and treating us with great care. They answered all questions and did an amazing job. A week later and the area that needed to stitches is healing very well.

Dr. Brian (Bryan?) was exceptional, I’m so glad I received his care. He was knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and compassionate. He was a total rockstar; thank you for your help!

Corey C This is a full service ER and not an urgent care clinic. If you or your loved one has a fever or viral illness, go to an urgent care clinic! Emergency rooms are for EMERGENCIES. Lots of people complaining about having to wait due to the fact that they had a non-emergency amd others were prioritized ahead of them. Theres a reason for that. Without any doubt, this is the best ER experience ever. I took my elderly (88) father in to be checked for an infection. They took him in immediately for testing and then sent us to wait for results. The placed was super busy! They treated him with IV antibiotics and sent us home with a prescription after a thorough exam. The staff in this place absolutely hustles every minute and does an amazing job. Ive never seen anything like it... wow! The entire visit was less than 2 hours. This would have been an 8 hour snoozefest anywhere else. I wish I could have bought dinner for the entire crew I was so impressed.

Kayla Lux I was admitted to this ER last night for a severe allergic reaction and can’t recommend this place enough. The doctor, the 2 nurses I had, all the personnel involved in the quick response team , and the front desk lady were nothing but so kind and did a fantastic job reacting so quickly to a really fearful experience for me. I wish I got there names to better thank them for such kindness and helping me remain calm during this medical emergency. I wish I could say I’ve had experiences like this at ER’s, but I honestly have not. I’m very impressed and hope they can get acknowledgment for their great work. Thanks again!

Vilma Yoder Dr Khuyen Tran DO has provided the best care for me. She is caring and listens to my concerns. I have been under her care for about 3 years and I absolutely recommend her. I recommend Franciscan in general as I have seen other specialist in that same building, also been in there for lab. All the staff is absolutely kind.

Vaovictoria Matautia-pasi Let me just sum this up for you all, please and I REPEAT do not see Dr. Khuyen, Tran. I’ve been seeing her for over a year or maybe 2 years and she has been the worst Dr. I’ve seen, if you think she cares about your health? She doesn’t, all the cares about is seeing you so she can get money. She has overlooked so much things that happened with me, and if it wasn’t for me mentioning what my previous provider has said she wouldn’t even test for for those things. I literally had to tell her what my previous provider told me in order for her to test for it, or she would’ve kept giving me antacids. She overlooks a lot of symptoms I have and tells me, well why don’t we check for that next time? And never follows up. But when I need a note stating I can only work 4 hours she says “oh we need to make an appointment” I went to Urgent Care the same day and they wrote me the note that my own PCP couldn’t even do. She lacks empathy but she smiles like she cares but tbh she doesn’t care for her patients. They would literally forget to fill a RX and wait until the weekend (the the office is closed so the provider on call has to call in the RX) because she isn’t in. Than states “oh you were supposed to let us know” when I just had an appt. With her and she said she would fill it. I spared her feelings long enough that I went off on her staff and told her I’m no longer seeing her because she’s incompetent, which she really is. She will overlook your symptoms. When I say she’s the worst I MEAN IT! She lacks knowledge and empathy.

Kate Drazner Hoyt I’ve been loyal to the CHI Franciscan medical system for years. While I’ve experienced good care and bedside manner from most providers, they are critically understaffed and unable to deliver basic medical services in a timely manner. When my primary care doctor left the practice, I had to schedule an appointment 4 months out to establish care with someone else in the practice. I’ve had a chest cough for 5 weeks and was finally sent for a chest x-ray last week only to find out it’s been taking two weeks to get back X-ray results because of radiology staffing issues. So I guess I’ll find out in two weeks whether I have pneumonia or something even worse. I’m so disappointed with how this practice has gone downhill over the years. I’ll be switching to another healthcare system.

Eric Unreal. l called in to start a new patient appointment, they chose a nurse practitioner for me. I wasnt sure about that but I was able to get in right away. When I got there, the medical assistant was very rude to me and said I shouldnt have been able to make the appointment I did, like it was my fault. She took my vitals and was just in a bad mood the whole time with me. When I saw the nurse, she couldnt help me. They just scheduled me for specialists Instead, so its a waste of money and my time. I call in today for a different issue, but I wanted to switch to a Doctor. The receptionist said I wouldnt be able to see them for six months! That is just ridiculous and they should be embarrassed for even saying that, I thought she was joking at first. That just makes no sense what so ever especially if you really need to be seen. I saw another review about how Fransiscan is just going down hill and they are right, never had this issue till now.

Amber Bargelt My only complaint is how long the wait times are. In total, I was there for 4.5 hours and I had already submitted my application online the day before. But everyone in that office is incredibly nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. It feels like the staff honestly enjoy the work they do! And the screen in the waiting area is very helpful to gauge where you are in line and how much longer youll be waiting. They only do walk-in interviews before 2pm, and I believe this is because of the long wait times.

Ruiza Anne I should have listened to the complains about scheduling here in the reviews because they are all True. We made an appointment almost a year ago for Dr. Dini..Literally waited MONTHS and we were fine with it. I called a couple weeks before the appointment to re-confirm. They CONFIRMED . Then several days before the much awaited appointment, found out that it got cancelled out of nowhere when my husband called in to ask a question about something. We both requested time off from work for the appointment and the next time they said we can have another appointment was at the end of the YEAR! And even when we said it can be any doctor they still said it’s gonna months. So basically AFTER almost another year of waiting after already waiting for a year. Just horrible. Go somewhere else.

Jerry Update: Scheduling from UW Medicine NW Hospital works now. Tring to schedule anything here is very disappointing, as simple as a blood draw for my primary care in UW Medicine in Seattle. Appointment with any primary care doctors here for simple things like eye infection prescription is nearly impossible unless you are willing to wait 3+ months. When I desperately asked for an ARNP at one time I waited several hours to have an ARNP to call me back. It appeared that calls were handled by a central location which did not make things better at all, and only added longer wait. UW Medicine in Seattle appears to be completely isolated from these satellite operations bearing the "UW Medicine" name. March 2024 Update: Improved

nancy kennedy Four and a half months to get an appointment to talk to my primary care doc. Really? I was in the emergency room a couple of times in a matter of months, never once heard from the medical “team” for follow up or inquiry. Very disappointing.

Christine Noneya I tried to make an appointment for a blood draw and a check up, and they told me it would be 8 months. Ive never had to wait longer than 2 months for a specialist, let alone a PCP Dr. Appointment. The lady on the phone was anything but friendly, and she acted as though I was annoying her by even calling. Not sure what happened to this place, it used to be great 7+ yrs ago. I guess I will be finding something else.

Kay Mar Gave birth here. Leading up to my due date, I was instructed by my doctor that in order to get to the L&D ward, I would have to enter through the ER. I literally only entered through the ER and walked down a hallway to L&D. Turns out its their protocol to charge $5000 just to enter the ER, even though youre required to do so in order to get to L&D to give birth. Immoral scam charge to charge even more money than they already did

Cheryl Hansen I ended up in the ER on Wednesday Dec 11th 2024. I had excellent care. The doctor ( Ryan Kilan MD ) was awesome. All the staff were, but the doctor went above and beyond with his care. Not only is he excellent at drawing blood (I barely felt the needle, and I had zero bruising), but he was friendly and professional and went out of his way to make sure that me, my family, and everyone else I saw him interact with feel at ease. I know that not everyone enjoys blood draws, but I HIGHLY recommend this lab simply because they are so very good here. I can also recommend several of the doctors and nurses in staff here. I have never had a bad experience in the many years Ive been a patient. All the medical staff are kind and caring. I truly feel heard. Full snaps to them. In addition, I also want to give a shout out to the reception desk staff as well as the security team. Top notch people with great attitudes. You wont be disappointed when you check in. Grundy T if you send them a message on EC they do not respond for days if they do respond someone in the office secretary janitor not sure who responds to that email and doesn’t give you any direction When they said they were going to fax a requisition for some labs, they never did try to get back to them. They never answer. You cannot call them on the phone. They will not let you be connected to the people who work there. It is easier to get a hold of the president of United States and it is a physician at this clinic not worth the time to go there

More importantly the staff were so kind and helpful. Such a peaceful and picturesque place. I can’t wait to go again, just kidding. I do recommend this location in spite of our daily news about the area at night. Thumbs up from me Virginia Mason Federal Way Medical Center!!!

Jym Reynold 0 stars if I could, each department take different insurance and will for sure turn you away. This is not a single hospital or clinic, this is a shopping mall of doctors. You can be seen at 4 different departments and turned down in urgent care without any help or remorse what so ever. I strongly suggest going anywhere else, this is a pick and choose clinic of whoever will pay them the best.

Zira Tival All my life Ive had doctoring here, aside from some questionable stuff back when I was in the second-third grade, like 20 years ago now, I honestly cant say anything but positives about the place. While my childhood doctor has apparently retired, shoutout you Dr Fasulo or however its spelled, I do genuinely love Kevin Kim as my current doctor. Some bits of the building need some TLC though. Last I was there one of the skylights had its coating peeling hardcore, there was a really brutal like... Silhouette of a painting or something on one wall that Im shocked hadnt been cleaned/cleared, thats the only complaint I have currently about staff and facilities.

Christine Ok Took my daughter to Urgent Care year on Christmas Eve shortly before 1 pm. They turned her away with the reason that they stopped taking patients because they are closing at 5 pm today. There were only two patiences waiting in the waiting room. Very disappointing.

David Hartley Neither of my referrals went to places that accept new patients. I asked for new ones and have been waiting two weeks. I am so upset that I made this place my primary care provider. I need to change it again I cant get care here. I have to travel an hour to get there and an hour back I cant do this every week just to get a piece of paper that doesnt serve its purpose.

Raelynn Martinez appointments are far out. Staff is rude and can care less for patients. My mother had an appointment. Could not find the office. Overweight..whatever! Finally got to the desk. Over 5min late and they denied her. The next appointment she was running late. She called, the lady said its fine, come anyway. Denied again. Give us a break guys!

Walker Heiling Scheduling an appointment or doing anything over the phone besides call the pharmacy is next to impossible. As I write this Im still on hold, waiting for half an hour now because I need to order medical records. That being said, the staff really is wonderful. Dr. Leilani is amazing, all of the nurses and students Ive had have been friendly and know what theyre doing, and the pharmacy staff is super friendly. If it was possible to get in contact with somebody over the phone this would absolutely be five stars.

JC Becile Getting through on the phone was hard but once I managed, my first appointment went well! Staff were friendly and professional, the nurse seemed to have a good sense of humor, and the practitioner I saw wants to be thorough going over my care. Rocky start but good first impressions otherwise, I wont be so nervous coming back.

Traffic Junkie I have an appointment here about every five weeks. The staff are exceptional & understanding. All staff Ive encountered are empathetic & personable. I receive an injection during my visit as part of a treatment. Its not only the nurses and doctors that are understanding. The phlebotomist performing my treatment is extremely empathetic. What can be a anxious experience for some is made less so by all the medical staff.

Darwin Hubbard Every single appointment Ive set the last 2 years has somehow been canceled without my knowledge or not properly taken down, and when you do get an appointment the doctor will tell you to your face, while quoting the wrong paperwork and name " we have many patients today and I see your here for (blank), lets get this done fast" I was there for a mental health checkup and had to have 3 nurses and an attendee help me to set up an appointment properly. The doctors do not care because theyre only theyre for a month or 2 at a time.

Peter Shearer Everything went wrong, ran out of staples during procedure, ran out of nitrous in the middle, rushed me out to drive home, got home and got sick to my stomach and started sweating. Could not urinate, still having urage problems months later. Do not recomend.

Joni Allen My husband thought Dr King was great! Nice facility, friendly staff and a very easy recovery on the procedure he had.
