The wait time was short, and the doctor was thorough, explaining my condition clearly and providing a treatment plan. The overall experience was efficient and reassuring, making it easier for me to focus on getting better.

5 /5 Renee Adsitt: Kaiser Tacoma Review Assistance at 3rd floor elevator lobby was immediately offered to my lost-looking face. She helped me with payment, directions, and billing. I was early for my appointment, and nurse was ready for me early too! My doc was awesome as usual, and consulted my opinion about a next step immediately at this appt, or waiting until next. I opted for immediately. New step for me to get neck shot for lidocaine so he could get camera scope lower for more thorough view of my airway. Great peace of mind. Then he told me there was request for labs for thyroid due, so got those done next. While waiting for my turn at lab, saw shoe inserts in pharmacy I needed. I asked Rx if I needed to pull a number for a non-prescription purchase. He said normally yes, but there is nobody ahead of you, so no problem. Went back down to pay parking and discovered I had not been there long enough to need to pay. Kaiser Tacoma made me feel like a queen today.

5 /5 Melissa Bruce: The staff and physician were very attentive. When I arrived the elevators were down and the check in individual, left her desk and walked me all the way to the stairs. I had needed a printed receipt and did not get it at the kiosk. The checkin team on the 4th floor were able to work together to help me get that for my FSA. The float staff was able to offer to take weight...very considerate and able to work around my sweater to get my BP which helps with how cold I get. The physician was able to add me to her patient load with my previous physician leaving and she picked up seamlessly, reassured me that increased activity would not exacerbate my symptoms, and recommended easy to follow diet recommendations that would likely help reduce my discomfort, which was over and above addressing how to safely taper prednisone. Overall, an excellent team that genuinely appear to care about patients who may be in pain.
