Alyssa McBroom We welcomed our beautiful daughter back in June of 2024 where we met with unexpected complications. She was placed in the Nicu for 7 days. Not only did the Nicu team go above and beyond for my daughter but they were beyond helpful as a first time mom going through birth trauma and gave tips and stories and by the end of the stay I truly felt prepared to handle anything. Special shout out to the two Jamie’s who truly deserve their angel wings. My daughter is now ( still ) 99th percentile and thriving :-)

Eleanor Edelweiss My son spent a week here after being born early. It was such an amazing unit! The doctors nurses were so Gente and supportive of my little one, and helped me work through some serious preemie mom anxiety. One nurse even told me she had never seen a baby so well bonded to his mama so fast in all her years there - as someone who was worried about how she would bond to her baby, I have carried those words with me! Baby Rhodri is 10.5 months old and thriving now - thank you for all you do!

holly heiserman I don’t have sufficient words to capture the relentless kindness, empathy, and compassion of *every* person that works here. Thank you for giving us a beautiful five days with our son.

River Kley Thank you so much to Doug, Kyla, and Maureen for everything you did for my family and I. You three made our adjustment to the NICU life so much easier than I would have expected it to be. We are so grateful for the knowledge that you gave us to take care of our beautiful daughter. We will never forget you three and can’t wait to tell our daughter about her positive experience in the NICU one day when she’s older!

pam kirsch Its only been two weeks since my surgery, but Im feeling fantastic. My recovery has been very smooth and Im essentially pain free. I was very impressed with Dr. Clabeaux and his team. Their care was excellent and they have very good processes and protocols. Amazing teamwork across all the disciplines. Two thumbs up!

Mona Valdok Dr Nicholls and the ortho team at Virginia Mason are top notch in terms of preparation, expertise and care. My hip replacement surgery and post recovery has gone well...pacing myself and following their detailed instructions. Shout out to the in-hospital nursing team at Virginia Mason! I was in the hospital two nights and the hospital staff were attentive, skilled and caring.

Larry Alhadeff I had a hip replacement at Virginia Mason O.S.M, Dr Jonathan Clabeaux was pleasant and professional, his entire team and the personnel in general were kind, professional, attentive, and frankly I was pleasantly surprised at the consistency with which they were just great all around. From the front desks, to Pre-op, to Post op, throughout the hospital. Even in the Cafeteria. You people are amazing. All of you. Thank You.

Kim Naten I felt very supported and informed throughout the entire process with Dr. Clabeaux and his team. This included regular email check- ins for several weeks prior to my surgery, providing guidance for preparation and tips for what to expect following surgery. Following surgery, I’ve received almost daily check-ins from the team and prompt responses to my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Frankie Mía Garcia Dr. Nam, Dr. Brown and Dr. Borisovskaya have totally changed my life for the better. I came to Seattle NTC seeking ECT after years of trying to treat my severe bipolar depression with medication and therapy. It has been ruining my life since my late teens. I am very grateful for the kindness of these doctors and forever indebted to and inspired by them--I feel like I have a second chance at life, at being a better grad student, being a better daughter, friend and life partner. Thank you all so much!

Jenifer Franklin Seattle NTC is an outstanding provider for IV ketamine infusion treatment. The space is very nice, with the chairs facing a big window with trees outside. Very quiet and conducive to relaxation. There is a nurse available at the touch of a button (she’s never more than about 30 feet away from the treatment room so she’s literally there right away). The nurses and doctors are excellent -knowledgeable, experienced, present, responsive to feedback, and very caring. I feel extremely fortunate that Seattle NTC exists for me. I’m deeply grateful for their assistance in helping me recover from medication resistant depression. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Jeff Dodson I have been very pleased with my care at the Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center and I’ve had at least four Zoom conversations with Dr. Joshua Bess (over the past two years), who has been running the clinic for some years now. Dr. Bess is very easy to talk with, he is not Intimidating, he listens very well (in fact, I have had to tell myself to shut up several times, so I could let him speak) during every interaction I’ve had with him. I have not been rushed, he has not been rushed, he is calm and empathetic. Not scary at all. I felt very good after my conversations with him all four times. He’s an excellent psychiatrist and advocate, and I’m very glad to have him on my “team”.

Neahni Im not a patient at Polyclinic or with Dr. Townsend, but I am a caregiver who takes a client there. Each experience has been fantastic. The staff is so friendly, and treats you with the utmost respect. The person I take there is non verbal, and uses an alphabetical board to communicate. They are always happy to hear what he has to say, and they listen. Last week, we were not able to bring his board, so Katie (I believe her name is) thought outside the box , printed out a paper with the alphabet on it, and we used that to communicate. It was so thoughtful and creative. The staff always finds a way to help. Dr. Townsend is a great listener, and gets to the bottom of things. Hes a problem solver and knows his stuff. I highly recommend Polyclinic and Dr. Townsend for anything from a check up to serious matters. You can have faith that you will be treated with the best care.

Theresa D Dr. Townsend was my doctor for probably about 10 years. I didnt have a reason to see him for several years (i.e. I was healthy). When I had something finally come up and I reached out, I was informed that I was no longer a patient and could not re-establish care because he was no longer accepting "new patients." In other words, I was fired as a patient because I was too healthy.

Marisa Stone OBrien When my doctor retired, was heart-broken. She had been my doctor for 24 years. They gave me some suggestions but I was not feeling it. I had to come in the day after Thanksgiving for walk-in client. My sciatic nerve was killing me. Dr. Townsend listened patiently and gave me answer in language I could understand. Thankfully, he is now my primary care doctor.

Julia Simmons WOW, what a horrible company... So they tell you upfront that they dont take any in-network insurance but my insurance may still cover.. I asked them to please see and they told me that theyd run my insurance the day of the appointment but that apt was $390 and that I would have to pay 100 bucks for the appointment and it was non refundable.. I other words, theyre charging you 400 bucks to run your insurance to see if you can continue treatment. I asked to speak to the manager.. they already left and wouldnt be back till next week as they dont work fridays...even though I called hours prior and left a message for a call back and the office waited till after 5. Ive never been to a doctors office that seemed like such a money scam in my entire life. STAY AWAY

casey saputo Im giving 2 stars only to this specific loaction of harbor. Im a patent as well as care taker for 2 family meber and get there meds. The Security gruad working there is bias and choose to pull me to there faulty new tablet metal detor. I have a plate and screw in my hip and only had personal items with me like meds and my toothbrush yet he makes me go through the metal detor and than all my bags making me dump my medications out with a flashlight this system is faulty and until fixed. Also the security guard refuse to get me his badge information I needed. Everyone else gave me the routing number except it so no means I think thats something wrong. This happened at 11:00 a.m. on Jane 15 2025. I get harborview medical 5 stars but until this location fixes whatever is going on at the 9th and Jefferson Im giving two stars since we should know that youre going to be most likely pulled aside on racial and/or cultural biases.I did make a complete and making sure I wanted to make another complaint as like I said Ive been a client there for many years and many surgeries and I dont know who this guy is but he should probably find a job somewhere else. There are other security guard Jamal is absolutely amazing he should obviously take that guys job honestly. He took the time to listen to my complaint rather than like the guy who actually did what he did wrong sat there and then just ignored me and act like he was just better than everyone. And then refusing to give me his batch so Im not sure why this person works there to me it sounds again like he should be working for like a regular security company like maybe outside or parking lots not where hes around people its people skills are horrible especially for mental people or people doing with mental disorders

Miguel Ortiz This place is awesome for all Medical Care, well the majority. Parking is ridiculous, pricey, and everything else best time early in the morning appointments, or use Hopelink, Access, or transit personal car is going to cost at least $15.00 longer wait than an hour and up more money. the clinics from feet to hands and S.T.D. clinics are really professional.

Sandra Hyde Dr. Nemani is awesome. Excellent surgeon, as well as his whole team. When I first saw him, he knew what my solution was, I did not have to think about it, said lets do it. Surgery was great and successful and the follow-up was supreme with e-mail daily asking how you are and if I had any questions. I have never had such excellent care as I have had with Dr. Nemani and his crew. I highly highly recommend him. He is a ten star.

Tina Mead I’ve never had such excellent care from a surgeon. Dr. Louie kept me informed about the problem and the procedure better than any doctor ever has. This accounted for less anxiety and more trust in him. And checking in with me daily after the surgery was a huge help. I think I’m feeling better because of this. I would totally recommend him.

Asian Cookie There was not an interpreter for the procedure, which I was looking for. Instead, the receptionist wasted our time calling for an interpreter over the phone, just to ask basic questions and do a review for the patient I was with, when clearly I said I would translate that part. She needs to be more precise. One of the nurses I encountered was nice. The other one with the "Marilyn Monroe" type of mole on her face was impatient and didnt even let the patient I was with recover in the recovery room, rushing that patient out, not even giving the amount of time it said on the case number time sheet at all. The patient was dizzy, not aware.

If you didn’t do this you have not gave patients there rights so please review your billing standards./ also don’t forget to label it when you admit anyone in the hallways cuz I don’t think that is proper. For privacy and billing purposes.

Im one of who they torture. they dont care what the subject is. 6 years of harassment from people here in Alaska. theyll say they care just to harass people when their believed or when who believes is gone. Ingrid Hsu The doctor and staff are mostly nice, but the billing system is awful, and they tried to get your money as much as possible. Most of the time, doctors and staff wont mention how much the price to you frankly. Their online estimation is also limited and not accurate at all. I have been a patient with them 7 years because of the big name, but I am so sick of their pricing and billing system. The billing department, most of them are not here to help, they will just repeat some official reasons and get all the money from you, and you need to argue the coding between them and the insurance company. This time really makes me upset enough to leave this review. I got cold for several days and lost my voice, but I have something important coming soon and need to use the voice, also I am not very sure I got infection by bacteria because I have strong color sputum. I decided to try their telecom system. You cannot choose the doctor you want, and probably they will give you NP as your doctor. The NP who help me was nice but just told me to rest mostly, no prescription. Her cute black cat was running in front of the screen, and later I feel it must laughed at my stupid to make a visit for this stupid situation, so they can charge me so easily. I was disappointed but tried to accept the truth. We only talked for 5 min. I asked the billing department to give me the bill, and when I saw the bill, I almost faint, and my sick got worse. It is billed for 20 min and $273.40! I tired to talk to the billing system via My chart almost the whole day, every time they have different people (7 people) with different answers, but basically, they all insisted they charged me ACCURATELY, and they ignore I mentioned I felt this is immoral. I asked for someone who can really discuss the service as the price I should pay to reply me, but no one is a supervisor. They said they can ask a supervisor to call me, but hey! I told them I am sick now and I lost my voice, come on! They mentioned if I want to dispute anything, I need to wait 1-2 months and then contact them and then argued and then waited their decision. I have done this before several time, via the phone, some staff are really impatience and rude. If lucky it takes 3 months, if no, it might take 1 year when you almost forget about it. The process will make you feel super depressed. I understand hospital also needs to make money, and I am willing to pay if I received some useful treatment, but not for the useless, disrespectful service, especially I hate people who worked for medical but not putting themselves in patients shoes. Finally, seriously, UW, you have so many primary care centers, but the prices are not normal hard working people can afford it because it is exaggerated high, and all the processes take super super long.

Nella Neumann Leaving this review to say thank you Seattle Children’s Hospital. They took my 2 year old daughter’s emergency very seriously, got us in immediately upon entering the ER room, quickly and urgently took care of everything we needed to do. They tested and treating everything they needed to do and made sure not to leave anything out. My daughter ended up being admitted for a few days and it was a good experience. They have a TV and kids tablet for the kids. Cute little tiger scrubs. Deliver good food (if you are sick). they bring snacks/ juice/ water any time you want. There is also a nice Starbucks in there with long hours. Thank you guys for a good experience during a bad time. Truly don’t plan on taking my kids to any other hospital again.

Adam Zcka Seattle Children’s Hospital On January twenty-eighth, I brought my 6-month-old baby to the emergency room because he was very sick. Unfortunately, we waited in the lobby for five hours without receiving any assistance. While I understand that emergency rooms can be busy, it was disheartening to see many staff members inside but no action being taken to address our situation. This is especially concerning given the age of my baby—6 months old—and the urgency of his condition. Even after we were finally brought inside, we have now been waiting for an additional hour with no progress. Staff repeatedly say, ‘We’ll be back,’ but no care or attention has been provided. It feels like there is a lack of urgency and compassion in handling critical cases, especially involving infants. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for families who rely on this hospital for urgent care.”

E I am also a nurse and from a patient perspective I was not pleased with the discharge process. We told the same story of what happened to 15 different employees, I asked to be discharged three times in three hours. Nothing happened. But I know it only takes 10minutes to do the d/c paperwork. Employees were nice but the process here was so slow. I saw my nurse slowly walking the hall and on her cell phone. I was not pleased with our experience.

J H Be very aware of costs. As a new parent, I thought Childrens would be the best place to go for PT for my newborn. I did not realize the cost would be almost 4x what I would have paid for in a community clinic. During the PT session I even ended up feeding my son and got only one new exercise to do at home, all which cost hundreds of dollars. Upset with myself for not understanding the extreme price differences that the hospital can charge vs. the average cost for the same service in the state. Do not assume you might have an idea of the cost for treatment based on experiences elsewhere. Childrens should be more transparent regarding the very high fees for services.

Silvia Y This was back in early 2019. Mom was there for a month and all her attendings kept her goal at getting strong enough to even do chemo. It wasnt until I questioned if that still made sense since she was deteriorating day by day and apparently no one there noticed that the plan had to change. Their pt also said she refused pt whenever he went to find her, which wasnt true. We found out later that he went to her without a translator and she was trying to tell him that she was eating and not refusing pt. Pt is a white guy and mom didnt know much English, if I wasnt clear enough. The entire month long here was majority negative.

Erika Hansen Dr. Moen has been my primary care physician since 2007, and hes been fantastic. He always listens to my concerns, is quick to respond (be it to a question, an appt request, or a medication refill. When I need to make an appt, Im usually in within days, a week at the latest. Im a bit of a complicated patient and am hospitalized fairly regularly (oddly enough, his daughter has been my inpatient physician and is similarly wonderful). Because of this, I have missed a number of appointments. He has always been understanding and patient with me. Many primary care physicians are not knowledgeable with some of the more rare chronic conditions, but Dr. Moen is as knowledgeable as my specialists. I have been urged in the past to switch to a university of Washington PCP given that my myriad specialists work at UW, but I prefer to remain with Dr. Moen.

On our first and only meeting he didnt listen to a word I said and used irrelevant information from over 13 years ago (you dont need to rudely talk down to me about an STD I had at 12 from being r*ped, when I only came in for ADD medication) plus, he told me I had Borderline Personality Disorder because a MIDWIFE I met one time, and she wasnt qualified to diagnose anyone, apparently diagnosed me and he was taking it as FACT. Literally the worst, most jaded man. He should seriously retire or start recognizing that each person who comes through is different from one another but I doubt that will help him. What works for some patients will not work for all of us.

Juan Antonio Jimenez Lopez Dr. Moen is specialized in Internal Medicine. He is concerned about our problems and is very professional, he knows what he is talking about. We feel very comfortable and safe if we need to visit him.

De Light I have peace of mind with Dr Moen as my primary physician. Dr. Moen is very smart and thorough, never makes me feel rushed; been going to him for many years.

Dom I’ve been seen here since 2021 and have always had the highest quality service by excellent medical professionals. The facility is sizeable and a bit of a maze but the staff are helpful in navigating you around. Parking is sufficient. Really no complaints, thank you for servicing us vets.

DAVID FORSYTH Seattle VA Dental Clinic. I am beyond satisfied with the dental care I received. I had a crown break off. They did a root canal. The climate of this dental office is unique. The quality service is worth the wait. The staff is amazing from the moment you arrive appointments, dental hygienist, Dental assistant, and the DR that performed my root canal all get my full endorsement. They were all amazing.

Karel Saquing I would give zero stars if I could. I moved to WA in March of 2024. The soonest intake appointment was September 2024, which I booked and scheduled. A week before my appointment, I was called and informed that they could not see me because the doctor had taken a vacation. They said they would call me back to reschedule. I received a call back in December 2024 for an appointment in January; however, because they scheduled me for an appointment at a different location, they had to cancel the appointment. I have gone almost a full year in WA and have not even been assigned a primary care provider with the VA and the Seattle location is not even the closest one to me, but it is the only one accepting patients.

Druann Urness ABSOLUTELY THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL STAFF I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS AS A NURSE. I assist an elderly veteran who has lost his sight. We called to receive help and advice for an eye infection after his recent surgery. They were extremely rude and accused him of seeking narcotics when all we were trying to do is make sure this pain is normal or not. I cannot begin to explain how EXTREMELY disappointed and disturbed by their actions I am. The way they treat our veterans has been a constant struggle for a long time, and I WILL NOT stand for the verbal abuse of our veterans. Bedside manner is one of the first things you learn when attending beginning classes for nursing and so on. They need to learn how to have a little compassion and readjust their actions.

James Rivera I was brought in last week with a brain seizure. I was treated in the ICU and the Epilepsy floor (5th). These folks were all truly amazing. Each individual that I interacted with was extremely caring and just wonderful people. This was obviously not the ideal situation to be in, but Im so very grateful that I was brought to this hospital. I would especially like to mention my friend Davit, (unfortunately I dont know his last name) who helped me in ways that he may never know. Im grateful and thankful to be alive today and these people were all a big part of my recovery. Best to all of you.

Raven Price This doctors office staff is beyond incompetent. I have been going here for 2 years and each time I go I just give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has bad days. But after today, Ill never go back. I was there for 2 hours just for a vaccine and an x-ray. The x ray itself was quick but it took forever to get the vaccines and it was clear that the doctor and the assistant were not communicating. I was waiting for my doctor to show up to explain my x rays but she never did. When I went to the lobby, it was completely empty except for the secretary. The rest of the doors of the office were open and it was clear that no one was present. Likely left on lunch. I am filing a complaint with the state medical board. I do not recommend Dr. Kerri Orf. I only gave 1 star because it would not allow me to put none.

Derek Paauw Leaving a 98 year old WW2 veteran out in the hallway for hours without a family representative (because they werent allowed in) then roughing him up because he cant dress himself fast enough and dumping him in the lobby without notifying his family is disgusting and inhumane. Everyone involved should be deeply ashamed of themselves. Develop some compassion or get out of healthcare. Unbelievable.

Estefan Haabito I have a drinking problem. Went for help and they treated me like total trash. I was told they offered medical detox (they DO) but was turned away after 2 hours because the symptoms I am STIIL experiencing weren’t “real” to them. I would sue if I had time or money.

Les Eric Lewis Dr. Richard E. Bensinger at Sweedish, not the whole facility. He apparently is the only ophthalmologist willing to take the low payments from Labor & Industries in WA State that they allow. He did two different second opinions for an injury I sustained at work both negative to the damage done and in favor of low cost to L&I and disagreed with three other highly rated physicians. As others have stated his office is dirty and is a shambles with antiquated equipment not sufficient to do an accurate test or observation/evaluation. Avoid him at all cost. Feel free to contact me for any reason to discuss. I do not give negative ratings lightly but this is so deserved. The other medical sites do not allow you to write a review after the fact unless you book through them. See Yelp reviews too. Hes a joke!

Rose Faerie I’ve been going here for nearly 20 years. The majority of the time I saw Dr Irizarry but since his leave I’ve switched to Dr Banda. Both are great doctors and I don’t plan on switching my primary care anytime soon. They offer great video appointments and an easy to navigate MyChart system where you can book online and request prescription refills. Excellent “bedside manor” I’ve never felt as if I’m not listened to and they are great about follow up care.

green star My two children saw Dr. Starnes until we moved out of state. We have only been gone a year but most of all I miss our pediatrician. My kids felt comfortable there and so did I. Dr. Starnes always took the time to make my kids feel welcome. My 2 and 3 year old actually looked forward to going to the doctor. Now that it is gone... I realize I miss feeling like someone has my back. Dr. Starnes took all of my worries into consideration and gave me options. When it comes to my kids health care I want to feel secure. I did at Swedish. My kids loved the nurses and really didnt even mind getting shots. Wish I had that where we moved... feel like I am alone in space...

Erika Vanvick Impressive! I established care with Dr. Stephanie Hodges and got a sports medicine referral. The office is nice with plenty of nearby street parking, and the wait...both in main waiting room and exam room...was minimal. Dr. Hodges is knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, and an active listener and great communicator.

amy kornelis Made an appointment almost three months ahead as it was the soonest available. When I arrived I was as told that they tried to contact me but the dr wasn’t in the clinic that day. I did reschedule because I’m not sure where else to go at this point but this is the most inconsiderate of someone’s time and health I have ever encountered after waiting months for an appointment. Rescheduling wasn’t for another 25 days on top of that. It took everything in me to be polite when asking to please note on my profile if I don’t answer the phone because I have a full time job to which I took a day off to come to this appointment please leave me a message.

Aaron Great doctors, mostly great nurses, terrible & lazy patient policies by the overlords. Entire floor having empty patient rooms, and forcing a sick chronic coughing person in a room with a post abdominal surgery patient. Surgery patient cannot get get a chronic cough, this would rip their incision apart. Pure ignorance of policies, lazy and or simply cheap processes.

Bemma Marie The nurses were nice, but results took over 2 hours all the while a gentleman cried in pain for a nurse who gave very little sympathy. I was denied water because of my stomach bug, but all my tests showed I was severely dehydrated. I understand it’s hard to be gentle day in and day out, but there are so many people in the waiting room, nobody has gotten results in over 2 hours!!!!

Joshua These people are the best. Quickest and most effective Emergency Room visit of my life. I went in with a leg fracture and they triaged me immediately. X rays within the first hour. Of course it was a Sunday evening but everything was smooth. Not discrediting anyone elses experience but UW Medical Center at Montlake is the best hospital in Seattle. In and out in just under six hours medication in hand. Im in a leg brace for the next six weeks but they took care of me with respect and professionalism. 5/5 stars. Thank you UW ER. I cant recommend this hospital enough.

D Emergency room is terrible customer service. 10/14/2024 I was basically refused service. The head Nurse and entire staff was racist in the Emergency room. Im a US Government Federal employee and have the best insurance possible. I was in severe pain but was left waiting for over 2 hours. Other people who came in the Emergency room showing no signs of pain were instantly taken to a room. Their customer service and racism was so evident I left after waiting for over 2 hours. I went to a much better hospital and was seen with 30 minutes. UW Hospital is terrible...the Nurse on staff and everyone else there should lose the license.

Billy D The medical care was excellent, but your building layout sucks! I had to find Wound Care and no employee, no map, nothing helped me find it. If you move centers, you should walk it like a patient. I arrived 30 minutes early and wound up 15 minutes late. Crazy. Also, I had kidney transplant surgery and the day after discharge, my incision opened up and now I’m dealing with that. The doctors closing procedures need to tighten up a bit. Lastly, your communication between departments really sucks. I’m called 3-5 times a day and I’m told contradictory information consistently. I received a call asking me where I was and no one mentioned that they scheduled a meeting for me. Very frustrating.

Don Smith I come from Selah/Yakima simply because Virginia Mason is my hospital of choice. The Doctors and support Staff are awesome. My medical care is very important too me as I have had several life threatening medical issues. I am very comfortable at Virginia Mason. Unfortunately none of the above applies to my local hospital.

David Williams The care provided was excellent. I am a family member of the patient. The accessibility and parking is horrible, typical of downtown Seattle. It would have been very helpful if the visitors parking were accessible. It was closed with no signage, so everyone had to make a U turn in a very tight entrance . The cafeteria cook called in sick, there was no one to take his place so... no hot food. This is 100% a management failure. This means I had to leave the Buck parking and pay again. Then walk 2 blocks up a steep hill to enter the hospital through the only available entrance, emergency. The cafeteria did not put up any signs that hot food was unavailable. I was told to come back at lunch time to ask for my $8 refund. Again 100% management failure. If you get confused do NOT take the stairs. It will lock you in the stairwell. No designated smoking area on campus. With only one way to access the building, leaving me with a choice, break the rules or walk 2 blocks away. A second entrance would solve that issue...... management....again.

Derrin Davis I had an inspire implant procedure. The care up to, and the procedure were both great. I felt valued and important. Immediately after the procedure I became just a number. Ive had multiple appointments cancelled last minute. My reps or hospital employees have simply not shown up or no call no show couple of times. I have to drive from Yakima and have spent hours traveling and hotel costs each time. The last appointment they called and cancelled when we were half way there saying someone wasnt showing up. They said they would call to schedule another sleep study, never did. I called to find out out happened. They said they called and left a message. No message. No record of a voicemail, nothing. Seems like they hook you then dont really care afterwards. Now looking for other options. Good Luck VMS

Steve Koppel I brought my wife for surgery. Our Surgeons were wonderful however the hospital surgical center was pathetic. It was like a circus. Very disorganised and not very empathetic or accomodatung for patients requests. I told the Prep person that I wanted to be sure there are not going to be resident anesthesiologists andntue answer I got was I would need to talk to the nurse. I talked to one nurse and he said I would need to talk to the attending physician. Another nurse came in and I again made it clear I did not want residents. Nobody showed any empathy and were willing to help me on the issue. One of our physicians came in and I told him that I didnt do not want any anesthesia residents and he would say something. I understand the teams get set up ahead of time however you need to remember the Patients rights. I feel our rights at first were broken. I really hope one day this surgery center would get their act together and have a better understanding of peoples feelings and have some empathy. The last time I had surgery at this surgical center was in 1994 and I dont think things are any different or improved in the past 31 years. This is the same lousy surgical center like it was back then. Nothing to be proud of.
