Maria Rocha My daughter’s doctor was Dr. Rabago I currently changed to Bao since Dr. Rabago was always busy and felt as if I was always rushed. The nurses and Dr. Bao are always very sweet however they take forever, every time I go I always wait a long time in the lobby and in the room. Once I waited over 2 hours in the lobby. It’s a little frustrating since I have a little one that gets very inpatient and still has to wait even longer in the room.

S D I love MFA Dr Eliza Duran and Dr. Romero. I recently switched to Dr. Robago and was disappointed. He did not listen to my issues I only told him two of my odd symptoms and didnt even finish. He brushed me off and said he will give meds. I felt rushed even with all my questions I had regarding this high risk pregnancy. On top of that I waited two hours for a quick 2 minute appointment.

Tanya Riley I had my annual physical exam in late February 2025. The receptionist was polite and The nursing staff that took my vitals was very nice, polite and accommodating. I was also placed in a waiting room with a very reasonable amount of time. But the best part of my experience was my nurse practitioner, Kristin Fortin. She is hands-down one of the best practitioners Ive ever had in my entire life. She has an amazing bedside manner. She educates. She collaborate and she make sure that I understand everything thats going on with my body, bloodwork and any tests that I may have had. She also goes the extra mile and makes sure to return voicemails and emails with a reasonable amount of time. I dont dread going to the doctor because of Dr. Fortin and the staff at MFA at El Portel. Keep up the amazing work.

Anel Vega-Ramos Dr. Gurpreet Singh at Golden State Care is an incredible primary care physician. He truly listens and takes the time to understand concerns to provide the best diagnosis and care. Not only has he been great for my own health needs, but he has also stepped in to help when I couldn’t get my kids to their primary care doctor. The staff is equally amazing. Always understanding, helpful, and ready to assist with anything needed. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for the care and support they provide. Highly recommend!

Maryann Brewer Went in for pneumonia (had it plenty of times) and Gurpreet Singh turned me away said nothing was wrong with me my lungs were fine, ended up the next day 911 taken to hospital with respiratory failure sepsis alert, spent 7 days 6 nights there. I would not take my sick dog to see him, filed grievance with my 2 insurance companies. Poor excuse for a NP

Came up with a game plan/treatment plan. And went over it with me. All in a few minutes. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Located near Walgreens pharmacy to be able to get any medications was convenient.

Denise Abbott This is wild. I can not get this place to answer the phone. No one will ever call you back. My partner even went in person to try to make an appointment for his refferal and they just said oh the dr will call you. Its been MONTHS. We can not get a single appointment. So unprofessional. I have never experienced anything this awful from a dr office. Ive left so many voicemails. Ive called every day. Nothing. It doesnt matter if you have been reffered. You can not be seen here. My mother in law also was referred like 9months ago and still NOTHING! How can this be this awful

Lee Yang The dr was very kind. Unfortunately I waited over 2 hours to see him for 5 minutes. The staffs can be rude. It’d be nice if they kindly notified their patients of the wait. This isn’t the first time I waited over 2 hours.

David Black 3 times I had to correct them. Why I was there for my appointment. Wrong procedure, wrong lab results, they were reviewing old lab results, the reason I was there was to follow up with the PA. Moved to the correct room to wait. Im quite satisfied with interaction with the PAs advice for a path moving forward.

Michael Brust My last visit was not very good, I had a 9:45 appointment and finally got in for my shot at 11:00 then waited another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in for about 5 minutes . We got out of there around 11:45. Not happy

Will Carroll To be honest, I believe they take on too many patients in a day. This causes major waiting time for the ones who have appointments. My appointment was at 3:40 and I arrived early at 3:30 to phone them I was waiting in my vehicle. They told me it was ok to just come in and wait inside. I came in and waited till called to the room at 4:25. The visit was fine and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable Veterinarian. By the time I had finished up to leave, it was 5:10. This seems to happen every time I come here. So definitely not happy with wait times and wish they would fix that issue as it is ongoing. I believe they will lose clients due to this issue.

Henry I recently visited Get Well Center Urgent Care, and I had an amazing experience. The staff was absolutely awesome—friendly, professional, and very attentive. priscillla Very fast less then 2 hours to get in and out. Really helpful and informative. Felt like I was being heard and understood. The lobby chairs do need to be updated but that is an easy fix and would not stop me from coming here again. Id rather come here then the ER. Ive waiting 6 hours at the ER for the same results as Urgent Care in less the time. Highly recommend

Desiree Raju If I could rate lower I would. Reception was apathetic and sloppy. Waited 3 hours to be seen and the entire time was told I was next to be seen… watched 12 people go back before me until I lost my patience and asked for a refund. To avoid giving a refund they brought me back within 10 minutes of my request for refund. NP was classy and polite but doesn’t seem qualified to do her job. I was told my lungs are clear, violent coughing fits, strained voice and abdominal pain from straining to cough. After one negative viral test I was told that I have a virus but again, was given no real confirmation and was told if I wanted testing I needed to go to the ER. Facility was filthy, I’ve seen nicer facilities in developing countries. Whole experience was terrible from start to finish. I would never refer someone to this facility.

Yola Chavez Went in for a sore throat yet Dr never even checked me there. He was leaving the room and I told him about it. Turned out I had a throat infection! If I hadn’t called him back in he would have let me leave and my infection would have gotten worse. There was also no tissues or hand sanitizer. When I needed to blow my nose I was directed to the bathroom where the only paper was toilet paper sitting on top of the toilet uncovered. I’m not putting that on my face. That’s disgusting.

MzLou I edited my review because I don’t believe the problem I had should affect the staff and hospital review. I am a family member and my experience is just as important as the patient because I can see how the patient is being treated where the patient may not be aware. This hospital has the most awesome staff from the cafeteria to the gift shop to security to the nurses and doctors. Chelsea is my favorite of the nurses because she is not just in and out, she talks to you and asks questions that no one else has asked so she is more aware of the patient’s needs than the others. They make me feel that my comfort is as important as the patient. I love the morning prayer. The food is appealing and the cafeteria makes sure you know you have options. I could go on and on. The best hospital I have ever experienced.

louis My surgery was postponed just before I was supposed to be taken in. The anesthesiologist did not feel the results of my EKG were good enough for me to be put out for a three hour surgery. The procedure was postponed until a new stress can be done. The low rating was because I couldn’t have my surgery. I am blessed that the staff looked out for my safety.

Emalee Aa Although, the service of care was excellent, the discharge process needs work. The nurse that took care of my mom forgot to give us the discharge paperwork and expect my mom who just had major surgery to get up and out to go to the hospital to pick up paperwork. That’s a load of crap! Do better!

Marina I wish we could give this place negative ratings, they deserve zero starts. Not only do they not answer phone calls on a timely manner, when they do they’re so incompetent they don’t know how to transfer calls. They lack common sense to send prescriptions over to the pharmacy. Recently they misplaced my paperwork. Who in the hell runs this place? Are they even qualified?! Do they hold training sessions for employees? Half of the staff is rude, and your answering service can’t be understood because of their thick accent. This place needs a new director and staff.

Krystyn Costea Front office staff was rude and disappointing. I am a single mother working full-time and my child woke up with an ear infection. I provided a written letter as well as insurance for my child to be taken by a family member. The office staff was rude and was unwilling to see my child and even called me to say that I should’ve been the one that brought my child in. Her father is in the military and was unable to be there, and I was unable to call off of work that day and was thankful that a family member could take her. They would not take her father’s insurance because he wasn’t there, even though it was explained that he was active duty military And was obvious as she has TRICARE. They were reluctant to take my insurance, but made it very difficult for my For my child to be seen And the comment made was unprofessional. I unfortunately have to work full time and as a single mom I’m not always able to take off work. I’m thankful I have family to assist me but the way this was mishandled is very disappointing. I called 5 times to this office regarding the matter with no answer.

emi lee This is the poorest quality of health care service that anyone could ever received. Not only are the staff unfriendly, but they lack the drive to care for their patients. The whole care team lacks professionalism and can’t coordinate together as a team. I was waiting to be seen, and in front of the reception desk, the nurses who were checking me in were freely discussing the drama that has been going on within their team. Proceeding to the pharmacy, it appears that everyone gets paid to discuss unrelated work topics as they have a line of waiting patients. This is the most unprofessional care I’ve ever experienced especially for what is supposedly to be an establishment that promotes quality care. I am extremely dissatisfied with this form of care and the lack of professionalism the nurses and doctors seem to have. I can ensure you that I will not be returning to this location specifically. I will soon be seeking another health care provider that can properly provide the basic quality of health care.

Christian Castro at first i thought this was going to be a good experience, the ladies working the front desk were very nice and helpful and all ran smoothly up until i actually met with the doctor. He was extremely aggressive, cut me off before I could even explain anything to him, talked to me like I was an idiot, and over all made me uncomfortable.

Jarrod James Let me start by stating Dr. Trumbull is a great guy and good Dr. Who genuinely cares about people and wants to do good by his patients. That being said his staff is absolutely abhorrent! All his good staff have left leaving his practice in a sad state. When you call you are answered by an employee that doesnt understand English or thinks entirely too much of himself. As great as Dr. Trumbull is I would look for treatment elsewhere.

Eduardo Vega I just called Dr. L Trumbull’s office, simply to ask if they accept my insurance at their location in Merced. The lady who answered the phone had a really bad attitude, horrible customer service. She was probably having a bad day but she shouldn’t be acting in that manner especially if they want to gain new patients for future reference unless their goal is not to gain new patients, then of course carry on with the same customer service .

Jamie Ziegenfuss ZERO STARS if I could. Avoid this place if you dont want surprised billing! Business manager enjoys her power to much and refused to adjust billing to the correct coding for my procedure even after my doctor acknowledged his mistake. Business manager told me over the phone is was insurance fraud if the coding was changed, but my insurance company confirmed with me that it can be changed without issue. This woman just refused to do it!! I do NOT recommend this place, take your health care another facility.

Carlos Carranza I had a phone call appointment on April 17th, 2024, at 1030am. in Suite A. I never received that phone call, so I decided to call the front lobby person who answered the phone, and she said that the doctor was too busy to go over my results, to call back later. I called back 3 times in a span of 8 hours, and I got the same response every time. Do not schedule phone appointments because the doctor will be too busy for you! I called today, April 17, 2024, and the manager said she would call me back. Worst medical experience of my life.

Sue Morales-Harding Ive been to this surgery center several times, twice for procedures by Dr. Garcia. Everything went great both times. Shannon at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. However, when I went for knee surgery by Dr. Beauchman, the anesthesiologist refused to let me have the surgery after seeing my arm, which had been in the hospital a week prior. My orthopedic surgeon came in wanting to know what had happened, and I told him to ask the anesthesiologist. When I called to reschedule the surgery, I was told I would have to see a cardiologist first. The cardiologist cleared me for surgery, but the bakers cyst in my knee, which had been there for at least two years, burst. I now have to get an MRI of my knee to see if I have a tear. If so, I will need surgery that should have been done sooner.

Kelli Phillips Ive had 2 procedures there. And they were just as nice as the first time. The staff was great and they were nice... Some were very nice, and some were mega nice. They were professional, yet they still took the time to answer my questions. I was in and out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them. Going in for a third procedure so if anything changes Ill update this review.

Bertha Alexander I was there for an ultrasound at the imaging department. 32 oz of water and 50 minutes later I was really uncomfortable. Christy was so talkative and helped me relax through the procedure. She kept me updated as to my progress throughout the process. Knowing how many more images I needed helped me stay focused. Great job!

Veronica W The flabatomists were great and friendly. -3 stars for registration. I asked for the cost. Registration person said she would let me know the costs and never gave it to me. I was also asked to electronically sign two documents but was not offered to view what I was signing nor was I given copies of anything. Isnt there laws saying I need to be given an estimate of my health care costs. I think its called the no surprise act.

Angelia Jackson-Choates The staff was so nice. The dr. Take time out to explain everything to you. Service was so fast, I couldnt believe it. They check your temp before you come in. The entire visit was a 5. I have no complaints.

Jaye Rogers Half a star is appropriate.Registration takes waaaaay too long. None of the process makes any sense. You always end up sitting for at least an hour and half if you arent the first one there in the morning. Hard to understand why because it takes less than five minutes to get registered.

The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful, they even helped me with the LVN program at the college who they work with. Overall never a bad experience.

Ashley Williams If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. Let me preface this by saying my NP that I have been seeing for years is excellent. So this has nothing to do with her. With that said, I am absolutely appalled at the lady Vivian (or Viv) who answers the phones. She should never have any position in which she works directly with the public much less in a medical facility. My father who is a veteran has been trying to get into their office as a new patient and the VA finally transferred them there. My mother, who is 75 years old, called to talk with the patient coordinator and Vivian with a horrible attitude scolded my mom like a child and hung up on her. Then my wife called and Vivian hung up on her twice. After the third time calling back my wife got to Vivian’s supervisor. She made a failed attempt to get my father into the office as a new patient. My wife was eventually stonewalled. As great as the medical staff is there, people like Vivian leave a stain on the whole facility.
