5 /5 Sherie Private: My VW Atlas wouldn’t start in the morning. I called AAA and had a jump and was told I needed a new battery. I still had the original. I planned on buying one from AAA. He had one with him. After, he started to take out battery to replace, he realized he wasn’t “allowed” to replace this type of battery because it has all these extra electrical cords to it. (New kid first week working alone). He suggested I go to an AutoZone. I called AutoZone and spoke to Michael, the Manager. He too said he can not replace the battery. Advised me to purchase a battery there and take to mechanic. He recommended Xander. I picked up battery, however, was sold the wrong type for my vehicle. Xander kindly returns the battery for me and got the right one, installed it. My German car now had some issues with a blown fuse. So an easy battery replacement took over an hour and half. I felt really bad and helpless for Xander. But wanted to make sure I thanked him and personally recommend him for his thoughtfulness and help. Not very often you get someone to at the last minute drop what they are doing and help you out. I will be taking my business and my children’s vehicles to this business because of Xander. I hope the owner sees this review and gives him a raise. Thank you! I will see you soon but hopefully not to soon!
