5 /5 Marty Main: My older pickup truck has needed several things replaced due to its age. Firstly, the gas tank sensor failed to indicate the level of gas accurately. Due to supply chain issues and getting a timely repair completed, an after-market part was used. It proved inaccurate, too. After a few weeks, the OEM part from Ford was obtained and installed. All in all, the gas tank had to be removed three times, but I was only charged for one time. Most recently, the truck started showing signs of overheating on long and steep grades when "pushed" hard. A sticky thermostat was replaced under warranty and the fan clutch was also replaced, both of which helped the engine to run a bit cooler. However, the engine still would get hot under the same extreme conditions. Deeper troubleshooting revealed the original radiator was a bit clogged. Because the truck had to be brought in twice for the same problem, a new radiator was installed, labor-free. Chris and the team are great. I highly recommend Quality Automotive in Auburn, CA for all your FORD car or truck repairs and maintenance.

5 /5 Steve Ide: This is the second time Ive used this shop. So far, Ive been pleased with them. Chris (owner) is very personable and explains the services rendered and why. Being mechanical plus experienced with auto repairs myself, I can usually sense when Im being sold a bill of goods about my vehicle repairs. So I really appreciate his honesty and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary maintenance or repairs. This is what irritates me about dealerships. The constant upsell. What I also noticed was how neat and tidy his shop was. First impression is important to me because if a shop is dirty and disorganized, I figured that the work done on my vehicle would be the same. My vehicles are Fords, and this is a Ford shop. Theyre also Ford diesel experts as well, which is the main reason I chose them in the first place. The front office staff are friendly and helpful. In summary, I highly recommend this shop and will be having both my Ford vehicles (Diesel and gas engines) service here in the future.

5 /5 Alex Edelstein: Chris inspected a truck for me that had a number of issues. Without doing a pre purchase inspection here I could have made a huge mistake buying a truck with many issues. I don’t know much about cars or trucks so they were a huge help. They found so many issues they stopped the inspection halfway and only charged me half price! They showed me many issues they found with the truck and how expensive these issues could get. I’m glad I took their advice! Great people!

4 /5 Geno Hurley: Chris is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the basic functioning of the part that needed replacement. The repair work that was done was done well and they do the job the right way. However after spending $6200 for a HPOP, IPR, EGR, and ICP. Waiting a month to get the truck back ,then returning the truck the following day after the truck died again and spending another $1389 to have two injectors changed I am disappointed as $7389 is very close to the cost of an entire new (rebuilt)motor.i was also disappointed that after paying nearly $500 for a new EGR the same problem code was present. I wish I had the opportunity to know this would be the full total and had an option to replace the motor given . Chris is very polite as was his staff. They did not add to the bill after being quoted and did the repair. I would just suggest to fully explore your options before throwing money at a no start condition on a diesel.
