5 /5 A R: A beautiful park near the shores of Monterey. We saw more sea lions here than we have ever seen in our lives. Beware, though, while they are cute, the sea lions are loud and smell fishy!

5 /5 I’m Not Ok With Mess: Nice beach that is clean with plenty of parking which will allow you to peer out at the ocean from your car if you like. There’s also a few benches and picnic tables with an awesome ocean view. The parking is only $1.50 per hour. It’s just a short drive from old Fisherman Wharf.

5 /5 Amitabh Mathur: Small beach area near the pier and paid parking area. A short walk from Cannery Row. Very nice place to see these large animals

5 /5 Bonner Timothy J. “Tim”: Ample parking available, which is very important in Monterey. Dont miss seeing and hearing these seals. We were there in the morning and 4/5 were sleeping. The others were all barking and crawling over the sleepers - quite a unique experience.
