Sherilyn Salas I love this school. The campus is so beautiful amid the city and the professors really care about your education.

Greg Smith Beautiful campus nestled among tree and lawns. During summer break they host many other events for athletes and for two weeks in late July hosts the Stockton Folk Dance Camp with attendees from all around the world.

Stephen OBryan Came through on a college tour and I thought it was wonderful. It was a very beautiful campus. I have to say I was impressed by how clean, how modern the classrooms were, and the student center looked amazing.

Eliza Evangelista Delta college gives you a lot of choices to explore if you dont know what you want to study. In fact there is a lot of hands-on certificates. In about 12 weeks you can become a certified nurse assistant (CNA). I’m a CNA thanks to this program.

Sophia Donato Delta College has a less than efficient administration in more than one area. They don’t follow protocol with their school policies if they even know what they are. The school policy about student appeals and hearings in front of Board Members etc. is an example of the most extreme case of conflict of interest I have ever come across. It was always in front of another fellow staff member and never an unbiased outside party. At the end of the day, these people potluck together. Every time questions surface about their conduct in correlation to following policy they tell me they have to check on “that”. My husband was a student last year and either didn’t get responded to or passed over to a diff. faculty member who wasn’t knowledgeable at all about the assistance he needed. He was a victim of identity theft and the grades resulting from it kept him ineligible for financial aid for about a year despite the fact he never received a dollar in financial aid during that period. Seems to me there should be some policies in place for cases like that since a couple years ago all those fraudulent accounts in FA were discovered by two professors. This place needs a serious overhaul in financial aid admin. I knew it was bad when more than one faculty informed me FA admin was a joke. The previous director resigned and then they lowered the bar on the position so someone not qualified could hold the position of FA Director. When I myself attended back in the 90’s the date the FA office posted was the date we got paid! You could bank on it. Today FA date disbursements are explained as subject to change and are only just an estimate as to a pay date. That sounds like it could use some consistency and routine processes so current students can have some certainty as to a paydate and budget their bills accordingly. This educational institution broke protocol on so many levels, I wound up majoring in Legal Studies myself so I could press charges on institutions like this whose main concerns are power trips rather than the welfare of students.

Dal J The campus is beautiful, but the continual destruction of healthy trees shown in other reviews is concerning. Our county’s priorities are extremely out of order when it comes to trees, and that’s clear to anyone who’s visited nearby Sacramento or Modesto

Billy B Small but excellent college. The accelerated program makes it easy to forget details from one class to the next, but it allows the student to complete their degree faster. The small class size allows students more interaction with the professors and the opportunity to ask more detailed questions. This college emphasizes writing in every class as well as the overall core of the students program. From my experience, the professors are knowledgeable and genuinely enjoy teaching. Besides the professors, the staff is always willing to help. I have enjoyed my experience with Humphreys College.

Mkay Petra Absolutely a waste of time and money. You get a position, but have to pay $700/month every month on a program with no support that will sink you every time you go to class. This program killed any and all desires I had to instruct. The classes do not help you in a classroom. The time you do get to go to class is too long and boring. Oh my goodness are the classes boring. I am entirely over this program, leaving teaching. I could have been an excellent teacher. But this killed any passion I had. Never ever returning to teaching or this college. Do yourself a favour and pass on the teaching profession entirely. You dont get any respect, you get treated dreadfully for 2 years and you dont even get enough money to support yourself.

Chris Lawyer Excellent school! I highly recommend it for anyone seeking their masters degree. Its not a paper mill, you will gain so much knowledge from the staff members and fellow students that the tuition fees will seem like money well spent.
