Chad Whitaker **★★★★★ Exceptional Care with a Personal Touch** From the moment I stepped into The Endoscopy Center of Pensacola, I was met with warmth, professionalism, and a level of care that instantly put me at ease. The staff was not only attentive but genuinely compassionate, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. The facility itself was immaculate, reflecting the center’s commitment to excellence. My procedure was handled with remarkable expertise, and the doctor’s reassuring demeanor made all the difference. It’s rare to find a medical team that blends skill with such sincere kindness—this center does exactly that. A five-star experience in every sense!

Christopher Chaffin I was very pleased with my experience at the Endoscopy Center. Everyone involved with my procedure were pleasant, friendly and professional. I was especially thankful that Cordaro took time to talk with me and share personally about family and life which helped me be calm while waiting for an otherwise unpleasant and somewhat stressful medical procedure. Doctor Hakim was also exceptional because he took the time to accommodate all my concerns. Thank you!

Shawn Pilato Everyone was kind ! That’s important to me as I have anxiety! Ty took me back and she was so sweet. The nurses in the first room were great as were the anesthesia people, Steven and Barbara. My nurse Lisa was so calming and sweet. Dr. Speer is fantastic. If you are anxious you know what it means to have kind people around you!!!

Linda Timco The new technology was 100% improvement since last one in 2019! The attendant was courteous, should have been more clear on leaving top only uncovered, had to take time to get dressed on bottom and shoes. If she would please speak up, not mumble instructions. Otherwise Five Star!

Sharon Lucas Everybody was on time. And they kept you warm. Some doctors offices were cold but not here. I love those warming blankets. Everybody smiles and the employees were happy and talking to each other. Happy employees - you know you got a good place.

Lori Mulcahy They no longer ask for copay day of appointment. They wait a month, send one bill then sell the $30 copay bill to the debt collector, saying the copay was "unpaid" on time!

Jack Gilliland The office personnel are friendly and courteous. They have always been able to work me in the same day to see one of the physicians. Dr. Dunn is great. He is willing to do whatever possible to help. Dr. Dunn was highly recommended and, after several visits, I can certainly understand why.

Kenda Kaiser I have been seeing Dr Dunn since I moved to Florida around 2013. I have never had a bad experience with this group. They are all Pleasant and helpful and Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. Its also very easy to get an appointment either up by the phone or online and if its urgent, they can generally get you in the same day.

Marsha Martin Dr Dunn is a wonderful doctor. He always takes time to listen and happy to answer any questions. You can tell that he genuinely cares about you as his patient. All other staff always very nice & considerate. Highly recommend for any family.

Keith Bowe From routine to knee replacement, professional responsible service provided me has been exemplary and complete in all regards. Dr. Dunn listens and explains his recommendation for what Ive found to be relevant to my needs. 2020 Update: Made the transition to Medicare with the condition Dr. Dunn continues as my Primary, with the support of the West Florida Medical Group, West Pensacola. The care given here only gets better with time. Very spacious and comfortable waiting room with very short wait time and a professional staff ease me in and back out with every reasonable accommodation performed including attention to detail. Beyond this, however is the Primary Care I get. Same day appointment are often possible when needed with sound procedure, which is the whole point. I dont take any of this for granted. Because Im here, Im not in need.

David I’m incredibly thankful for this clinic. I have had all kinds of long ignored ailments seen. They seen me for free based on my income. I’ve even had surgery in this clinic and for free. I am always so nice when I go in as everyone there is a volunteer. They also have a pharmacy on site for many meds. Again, I’m just extremely happy someone referred me here. As long as I am within income guidelines I will go here.

Dawn Greenberg Anyone who left a negative review, shame on you! These people are wonderful. I have had a dr that I was not crazy about but everyone else has been wonderful. To the dr that I wasn’t crazy about, I still appreciate you and thank you. You still took time out of your busy life to do a great deed and work to treat me. I have had 2 drs that have treated me more thoroughly than drs that got paid a lot of money to see me in the past. Thank you to all who volunteer there, I know the life of a medical professional is demanding and you use your free time to do good. I couldn’t manage without this clinic and could not be more grateful for every single person there. The kindness I have been shown since the first call I made there is heart warming.

Debbie R Went in one month ago, and STILL HAVE NOT received my medications! I was approved for them, but only given 3 out of my dozen or so medications. The doctor argued with me over my meds, changed my dosages, and pulled me off some of them altogether. When I called to cancel an appointment, the lady was VERY RUDE to me, even though I tried to explain that I had been sick with migraines. Will probably seek another doctors office soon. Only after my appointment next week will I know why they are holding my meds hostage.

Cinnamon Matteson I have been going to the health and hope clinic for years, I cannot tell you just how wonderful, caring, and kind everyone is. Carol, is simply amazingly kind, loving and so caring . Everyone at this clinic is friendly, and they do their best to help you resolve health issues. They are truly all angels. They give their time and expertise freely, willingly and strive to help you with whatever your health issues may be . I personally LOVE everyone there. They have the most wonderful caring dentists who are beyond compassionate and gentle. In my opinion, anyone who leaves a bad review was just simply wanting something to happen so to say on the "spot" and it simply does not work that way. They also forget that these Dr.s, Nurses and volunteers give their time to help people, they are not paid. I like to thank everyone I come in contact with when I am there as I am very grateful to have found this clinic and what a blessing they are. Thank you to all the staff there. Jeffrey, you are truly quite an amazing young man . VJ is amazing, surfer girl as I call her is amazingly kind as well. Special thanks to Dr. Mills you have truly helped with my fibromyalgia! Dr. Lightning as I call her (dentist ) gave me my smile back PRICELESS!! Carol, special thanks to you for my awesome boot! Everyone there are truly angels in our midst. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the medically needy uninsured people of our town and community! Ronnie

Jessica Vickers Had a new patient appointment I scheduled online. Besides email confirmation of appointment I received no other communication. When I arrived the lady at the front desk said she tried to call me because Dr Hawthorn doesn’t see new patients on Fridays. I asked why did it allow me to make the appointment she shrugged her shoulders and said “it’s the online process I don’t know why”. I asked what number she called, she read a number to me that I informed her did not know (was not my number). Being a registrar and familiar with the process I asked if my information was mixed up with another patient. She asked for my address and said “yeah it looks like it” (HIPAA). She offered to make an appointment sometime several days away with the NP. I won’t be back to this location, and I won’t use the online appointment booking. Very disappointing, and I’m stuck using HCA because of my employer/insurance.

Jo Verellen I would like to express my appreciation for Robins exemplary service in facilitating my appointment with a hand specialist. When the initial specialist was unreachable, she demonstrated initiative by forwarding my orders and x-rays to an alternative specialist, thereby ensuring prompt attention. Her thoughtful communication with me regarding her actions was particularly noteworthy, enabling a smooth and efficient experience.Thank you Robin

Kenneth Mark Moore Dr. Serda Hawthorne is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. No others come close. She never rushes me and effectively course-corrects when I inevitably veer off subject. I have had white coat syndrome most of my life until I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hawthorne. George-Ann, the primary nurse I interact with is also wonderful. Her calm and professional demeanor puts me at ease. Front end staff are polite and helpful, even while multi-tasking.

James M Waited 3 months for a new patient appointment, show up 30 minutes early to complete paperwork, the employee checks me in and then I wait until 30 minutes after the appointment and advise them I’m still waiting like the sign says. After a bunch of the staff talking to each the doctors nurse comes out and the receptionist explains to her how she went back and explained to Dr Serda Hawthorne the person checking me in made an error and never checked me in. She then told the nurse “Serda said NO”. The NO was very sharp, curt and flippant too. At that point another nurse said we can get you in in November. I advised them this is unacceptable and left. Serda is Dr. Hawthorne, she should not act like that when her office makes the error. I would never recommend this place. I felt my care was not important. Absolutely unacceptable treatment.

Jim Summers Went in for my FIRST appointment today (after waiting over a month), I was taken back on time, vitals taken etc. The young lady put me in a room and said the Doctor will be right in. I was in the room not longer that 4 minutes. The same young lady came in with a green slip of paper. She said the doctor wants you to come back in 3 months. The problem is I didnt see a Doctor, or spoken to anyone in the 4 minutes I was in that room. I responded why do I need to come back? I have not seen anyone? Bottom line is, she was completely serious.. I want a doctor that cares, and a staff that pays enough attention that I dont get confused with anyone else that can lead to problems. I left, asked politely to NOT be billed, came home and made an appointment with Baptist in a coup;e weeks. I[ dont feel like they are organized there, and my health is to important to me.

Wildjules Im a non-emergency medical transporter And every single time I pull up here to pick someone up This lady who was a security guard or something Some kind of Director of traffic Its a front door Named Risa She says, has a major problem with me I either have to pull up two feet or pull around and go behind someone thats already back behind me I asked her for what reason why do I have to do go around the circle again? She said youre blocking my entrance and I said but the entrance is over there which was about 30 ft from where she was standing. So I said okay and I drove around again and ended up at the same place as shes pulling my man Im picking up out. And he said hey I tried to stop you but you left. Dont work with the public if youre not going to be nice shes a wannabe police officer that likes to push her weight around and I dont appreciate that every time I come there theres a problem any other person that works there does not have a problem with me parking in front of the building and I dont block the entrance ever.

Lynn Harrell The Sacred Heart Community Manager requested a call from me BUT in typical fashion, after many attempts the line stayed busy or line picked up and then silence to then disconnect. The operation of Sacred Heart/Ascension is full of clowns and in need of an overall INCLUDING the Lab reception after entering the lab with a hall of closed doors, no directions and tons of empty chairs. Fortunately, I got a Security person to help us. Otherwise the trip would be another wasted one. Pitiful!

Mindy A. Highly recommended. We saw Dr. Sherman at the ENT office and she definitely knew her stuff. Efficient office with very friendly staff who clearly know how to work with kids. When we went in for surgery, all the nurses were friendly, and they even brought in a trained dog to say hi to the kids to help them feel less scared. We will definitely be back for any other pediatric needs.

Lowe Michael (Max Wolf) I took my child here for his neurology appointment. Everyone was very helpful while we were in the building the security guards were especially helpful when my phone ran out of power and I did not have a port to charge it with me. The added bonus of going to these offices is being able to have a Wendys meal and a Frosty.

Michayla Galloway Personally, the people in this office including the “Doctor” I see are actually rude. I came to this office in 2022 and informed them that I wanted to be able to conceive shortly after I got married in 2024 and that I would need help. It’s 2025 and Kristin Foster hasn’t helped me or explained anything to me AT ALL about MY body. She hasn’t helped improve my body, she hasn’t helped me understand my body, and she hasn’t helped me get to the goal I am desperately working hard for. I’ve heard good things about her so I’ve been trying to stay patient but this side of herself that she’s shown me is actually so disheartening and my heart continuously breaks when she repeatedly lets me down. As for the other women in this office that answer phones, etc. They need to be a little more sensitive when answering the phones and be less rude.

RAWwithCRYS Krystal Kilgore is the rudest receptionist I have ever dealt with. I work in the medical field and I have never had such a terrible experience with front desk. I don’t understand why a person who is as miserable as her would dare work at an OB GYN office! She is condescending and hung up on me while I was asking her to verify some information. So unprofessional! I would never dare speak to patients the way she does. She has an attitude EVERY TIME I call this office. How does she still have a job?

Sierra Haynes I wish I could rate less than one star. This is my second pregnancy with HCA, and the lack of compassion and coordinated care is thoroughly horrible… absolutely would recommend going anywhere but here for OB/GYN care.

Zoe Lea Worst OBGYN experience. Ive had a few appointments and with each one, my nurse made me feel incredibly small and like my problems were being exaggerated. I got nexplanon put in a few months ago, they didnt do any blood work or check any background information, they just put it in my arm. I had horrible side effects and ended up getting it taken out after about two months. During the procedure, literally knife in my arm, the nurse said something along the lines of "I dont know if insurance will cover this since shes getting it out so early". Being by myself as a 16 year old this was so scary to me! Not to mention before and after the procedure I was incredibly nervous and they just made me feel like I was being dramatic and that it wasnt a huge deal. Hinting towards the fact that me getting it taken out early was a bad thing. Overall was a bad experience and I definitely wont come back. As a doctor/ nurse your LITERAL job is to be nice and make sure your patients are comfortable. Every single one of my appointments felt like I was sitting at a lunch table with popular girls who were just silently (most of the time) judging me.

Shelby Link Dr Payne was terrible and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I also have been back since I had my babies and needed to discuss pelvic floor options and the doctor that I was referred to was TERRIBLE. As I struggled to find a day i had off from work to be seen, the lady said it was concerning that I didnt have a flexible schedule cause I was going to need to be seen once to twice a week. I said well you must only see old people or mothers who dont work cause as a mom who works full time and has 2 children that is impossible and she told me that I needed to pipe down.... I never raised my voice and I simply said what I just wrote but the manager proceeded to try and argue with me so I hung up the phone cause I will never give my business to someone who speaks to me that way.

They have all shown kindness, compassion, and care for my father in his greatest time of need. THANK YOU, will never be enough to show our gratitude.

I had a family member whose experience was not very good so I didnt want to go, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was kind, caring and knowledgeable. Abilio Catarino I spent close to 3 weeks at the Select Specialty Hospital in Pensacola. Being in the hospital is hard, especially when you’re not that sick. I made it through due to the dompassion, dedication, and skill of the staff. My needs were attended to on a timely basis. Everyone was kind and encouraging. Nurses were always asking if there was anything they could do for me. Doctors regularly visited my bedside to check in and adjust treatment as necessary. If I had any questions about my care, I had a case manager to ask. There was also a staff of interventionists who saw to my OT, PT, and speech needs. Even the cleaning staff showed interest in my progress and would make small talk as they cleaned my room on a daily basis. When it was time to leave, my case manager had created a thorough plan for follow up care including doctors visits and home healthcare needs. If you or a loved one ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing skilled hospital care, consider the Select Specialty Hospital of Pensacola.

Cynthia Robbe-Dren Hollinghead I was a patient at Select Speciality Hospital for 38 days. The facility appeared well managed and staffed with competent, caring and committed doctors, nurses, therapists, cnas , and a framework of individuals with specialized roles to keep SSH running as smoothly as possible. The exercise room is not huge but is spatially adequate and outfitted with everything needed to help patients meet their rehabilitative goals.. The therapists I primarily worked with (Charlie and Amy) were excellent and thanks to their diligence, I was able to surpass the objectives initially set. Having been in several hospitals, facilities and rehab outfits over the last 6 years, SSH was hands down the best. The staff was attentive, usually prompt to respond if called, room was kept clean and the online menu ordering website using a QR code allowed patients to choose from a wide array of food or receive predetermined meals. The food was above average and Ms. Erin, who oversaw the online ordering, explained the system in a clear, informed always friendly manner and was there to help if any glitches occurred. I highly recommend SSH and would return without hesitation.

Bojana Decker I don’t like to write bad reviews and it’s funny when people write “oh dont read the bad reviews” but the bad reviews are as important as the good reviews. And when you read a bad review that means that something happened to that person and it’s important and people should say something about it. I understand that everyone loves this office but trust me they are not what everyone says they are “the best”. I just called to make a same day appointment for my son and they told me both of my kids have been discharged from this office because they haven’t been going to appointments. But we have been patients for only few months. Someone obviously doesn’t know how to do their job. And on top of that the nurse on the phone HUNG UP (I mean how rude is that) on me because I wanted more explanation to why my kids don’t have a doctor anymore. And when I called back they told me it was a misunderstanding and it was a mistake because again someone doesn’t know how to do their job. So, no I would not recommend this place to anyone because this is not the first time something like this happened. Few months ago when I switched my kids to this office my son was sick and I called for same day appointment and they told me they can’t see him because the paperwork for new patients is a lot so they didn’t have the time for that. So maybe this will make you rethink if you want to read the bad reviews or not. And find yourself another place for your precious kids. I will not go back to this office even if they are last in town.

Tara Campbell The staff is nice and professional. Dr. Ewert is good with my baby and takes the time to address any concerns in a straightforward manner and is very informative. I would like to see more tech utilization of their portal. The profile set ups are odd and its useful features arent used/enabled. The messaging function, document/photo uploads arent enabled. It would be beneficial to have the option to contact the office through messaging or to upload patient image references for problem visits.

Travis Dudley Without a doubt the best pediatrician we have ever seen. Our youngest son has had some issues early on and the staff has been incredibly accommodating and helpful. Dr. Freeman has been amazing. She will advocate for your children to the fullest extent possible. Not sure where we would be without the help of her and her staff. Cant recommend this office enough!

Mindy A. SUMMARY: Our actual doctor is great. The management of the office is TERRIBLE. If you need referrals, plan to call daily to make sure things are moving along and have been submitted properly. Be prepared to wait a long time in the lobby for every visit. Be prepared to collect all of your childs medical history from previous offices and bring it to them. They wont worry about requesting records for you. If you have other options, choose one of those. DETAILS: Weve been patients for 2.5 years now and we have 3 kids, so weve been to this office quite a few times. Dr. Freeman is FABULOUS. If I didnt REALLY like her, and we werent moving soon, I would DEFINITELY switch to a different practice. Scheduling visits- Theyre booked pretty far out, and weve had 6 appointments cancelled on us (3 of the appointments I had scheduled 4 months ahead of time, and 3 appointments had been scheduled 3 weeks prior). So dont count on getting your scheduled appointment time. Wait time at the visit - Every time weve been to the office for a scheduled appointment (weve been on time), we wait in the lobby between 20-50 minutes. Doesnt matter if we have an early morning appointment or an afternoon appointment. Be prepared to wait a while in the lobby or outside. Once you get into the patient room, expect to wait between 10-30 minutes. Bring something for your kid to play with. Referral follow through- non-existent. Weve had a number of referrals now that have taken FOREVER. In this most recent experience, we had an appointment on August 14. I called the referral coordinator the following week, and left a message (their recording says theyll get back to you within a business day). No response. I called again a week later and left a message. No response. Called a third time and finally spoke to someone who told me the referral was never submitted. So here we are, 28 days AFTER the appointment and were at the starting line. Very frustrating, especially when you need a referral to a specialist who already has a long line of patients. Phone calls - Ive waited on the phone for over 30 minutes before just to talk to someone at the front desk. New Patient Paperwork: When we moved here, we were active duty military, but we switched to the reserves shortly. This office told me they had to have my kids ENTIRE medical history to submit before we could schedule a new patient well check. Every other office weve ever been to has requested records for us after the new patient visit. This means I had to go to the military hospital, submit a records request (including getting our previous CA doctors office to send everything over), wait for it to be filled, go to the hospital to pick up a ream of papers and drive across town to hand the office the papers in order to SCHEDULE a well check for my kids (which was needed before we could start school). Ive never run into this kind of outrageous request prior to getting a new patient appointment. I was floored. Should have been my first clue to find a different pediatricians office.

Sheila Haney My Dad was brought to West Florida ER after falling and hitting his head. He had just been released from Santa Rosa Medical 2 days before this happened. (left them a review as well). When he arrived at West Florida they did a MRI and determined he was okay. He had a black eye and had to have several staples put in his head, without anything to numb the pain. My Dad agreed to this but he is not in his right mind. I did explain to the guy helping (not sure if he was a nurse or a doctor) that my Dad had Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and that he falls all of the time and he has dementia. I told him about our attempt to get Santa Rosa Medical to get him into rehab so perhaps he could be transitioned to a nursing home faster, we have been trying the usual route with no luck. He said he could not help but would have case management come talk with us. We waited another 20-30 minutes and then we are told they would just call, they apparently could not be bothered to come speak to us in person and they never called either. Wasted our time for absolutely nothing. This was yesterday. I pleaded our case as strongly as I could. I told them they could call Pace fire dept and see they have been called numerous times to pick him up when he fell. My family has gone to pick him up as well. Its just him and my Mom, she is 80 and cannot walk 2 ft without getting out of breath and is not strong enough to get him up (he is a big man) His condition gives him insomnia and he is up and down all night, she cannot make him stay in his chair or bed or use his walker. He has been know to leave and wonder the neighborhood without her knowing. My Dad fell again @ 2:15 this morning, fortunately he did not hurt himself this time. I am documenting everything so if he does have a fatal fall, we will be able to tell lawyer of all our attempts to get help. They have good insurance and the hospitals are getting paid, not sure why they will not help. I know people who have had less falls and no injuries that were sent to ER and they did for them what they refused to do for us.

angel montano Traci G. in Radiology Registration; where you sign in for x-rays. I was experiencing challenges with Schedule PLUS, which, in turn, were having their own internal issues. After multiple phone calls from the radiology waiting room, Traci spoke with Jessica @ Schedule PLUS (also extremely helpful) and figured out how to get my Order so that I could have the x-ray taken. After , at least, an hour & a half, Traci was able to register me. The time spent thus far, and I had not even been far enough along used the clipboard (?) to sign in; after Tracis assistance, the entirety of the visit lasted 10 minutes (which was great!) If you check my armband time & x-ray times & you will see how efficiently they move, could not be more pleased with how the Staff treated, responded, assisted, generally cared. Did I mention that Traci was working constantly, on her additional duties, and still helped me everytime I interrupted her with questions, request for additional information, fax numbers, etc. It cannot be easy to be accessible to Everyone, aways, purely because Shes a person I can grab. I thank Traci G. This visit could have been much (Much) more challenging. Thank you, thank you Traci! (From a chronic patient who would rather not go to appointments,)

Pat Hodson My daughter started out in ER. I couldnt believe how the areas are so neglected by common cleaning and upgrades She then went to ICU. Amazing team and treatment for the 1st 2 days...hope it continues for her stay which is expected to be a minimal of 10 days The ICU waiting room (larger one with bathroom). Floors dirty. Restroom disgusting. Sink has horrible filth around faucets and around toilet. Floor disgusting too. Thought it might be different on Monday after weekend. never saw anyone come to clean the area. So as long as your in ICU you may have a great experience but...other areas needs some major improvements

Maria Sangillo I want to see my doctor because I had a lot of stomach pain so much pain I don’t even remember the visit to the doctor. Dr. Michael Zelig was such an upstanding doctor he called the emergency department and they took really good care of me they did an MRI immediately to make sure that I was not having a stroke and then gave me medication who was able to help me regain my memory. Outstanding team work.

Lindsy McMillan I was incredibly impressed with the care I received from HCA Florida West Hospital. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, explaining everything clearly and making me feel completely at ease. The doctors were highly skilled and genuinely concerned about my well-being, and the nursing staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. This hospital truly stands out for its exceptional quality of care and compassionate atmosphere; I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Larry Reeves New to the area - they were welcoming new patients - went to the appointment at 2:00 - 2:45 they finally called me back for my appointment. Was told the doctor was busy would be another 10 - 15 minutes Typical doctor - doing typical doctor stuff and not realizing other people in the world have things to do in their life. If you have extra time that you would like to waste sitting around - make an appointment here - if you actually have a life go some place else.

Vince Tillman Usually hate going to the doctors office, haven’t been in years. But needing to get some health issues addressed, this place was by far the best! Easy scheduling, short wait time and Val my nurse was the best healthcare professional Iv ever dealt with. Everything was easy and Val was so nice and knowledgeable! Will definitely be back! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

Franziska J. I came into JPs office and right away the receptionist was very welcoming. NP Jackson and her assistant Christy, were very professional. They both took their time to hear my thoughts and health concerns. I didnt feel my visit was a rush at all. They were bot also very patient with my active 4 year old. The MA that checked us in was AWESOME with my little one as well. Thank you so much for making todays visit comforting with me.

Siara Mack I had my son there via c section. I went in very anxious about having a major surgery but the nurses were so amazing. My doctor Jeanne Eckert did a great job on my surgery. Everyone made this very difficult time for me go by wonderfully. Im very grateful for everyone that took care of me, especially my nurse Celine. She was so sweet and made everything better. Thanks again.

Norm Hastings We had planned an endoscopy months ago for our son. When we get there, we are informed that we have to pay them $3,000 or they wont see him. Now this was never told us when we made the appointment, and when we tried to return their calls. And they make no responsibility at all for their mistakes. The message is pretty clear. Money is more important than your kid. They refuse to see him even though hes in need, and they demand money that they should have told us about months ago. We would have been more than happy to have helped cover it, but they didnt bother telling us this at all and whats worse, they took no responsibility or apologized for not telling us. Shame on them.

Jill Garmon I had a wonderful experience with the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital. I was blown away by the level of patience, attention to detail, and premium care they gave me. I had outpatient surgery and everyone that called or cared for me was beyond qualified and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Each nurse, doctor, receptionist and tech spoke to me with respect and thoroughly explained their role in my procedure and care. I felt like they took the time to get to know me as a person, not just another case. I am so grateful for the experience that I had while under their care.

Saige Jordan The experience as a whole was good and I loved my OB she is amazing most of the nurses were great. Some of them seem to not care and not pay attention. The lactation consults were extremely aggravating. Telling me the same thing over and over even though my milk was not coming in and baby was not latching and kept insisting on making him latch. Other than that aspect and the fact I got the survey before my son even got circumcised and no one discussed discharging us the overall experience was good thanks to the doctors and some of those amazing nurses.

Rebecca Kidd Great staff and clean facility even if not located in the prettiest building. Rosa at the front desk was concise and polite when we called to schedule an appointment - And knew exactly what I was talking about when mentioning the immigration process. When we arrived for our appointment we were greeted quickly and waited hardly any time at all - MUCH less time than I am used to waiting for other local doctors!! Dr. Ho does have a strong accent as I’ve seen mentioned in other comments but that did not keep us from communicating well. He was also concise but thorough when providing information and asked multiple times to ensure we understood him. Cindy was a lot of fun and moves quickly so we almost didn’t notice we’d taken care of everything. In and out of the office within two hours and that included waiting, getting blood drawn, meeting with Dr. Ho, 2 shots, and payment. AND it was cheaper than it would have been at the other doctor we would have had to wait more than a month to see. Thanks Rosa, Cindy, and Dr. Ho for the great experience.

Lizett Herrera I want to share my bad experience in this place, sometimes we choose our career wrong in Study and to be a Doctor and nurse you must have ethics and have love for the patients, I do not speak English and the nurse in one of my visits got upset and had no patience with me, I am a sick person and I go to them because it was my primary doctor, I have many diseases including diabetes, any sick person should be given compassion, nobody wants to be in the hands of doctors, now this year I have a new insurance and I looked for a different Doctor after the mistreatment but they gave me an appointment for the new doctor in a month, I ran out of medications and since he was my primary doctor I went to him, so that he could renew for me for a month the medications that I cannot stop taking and he told me that I was not his patient and my new insurance is Florida Blue HMO that he takes that insurance and refused to give me the refill until the new doctor sees me, this means that without medication the consequences can be fatal, and I cannot go anywhere since I do not I know where I should go, I pay health insurance and at the pharmacy, unless the doctor orders it, they wont sell me my medications, that is, Im going to die because a doctor who until a few days ago was his patient didnt want to give me a refill and I asked for it only for a month, but I must make it clear that he didnt even say good morning to me and he didnt attend to me. I was attended to by a girl who is an office worker, very attentive, but the doctor and that nurse there dont even say good morning. Where is their professionalism and education???

Kelly Newlan I had an initial appointment with Dr. Williams PA-C. I felt she was not invested in what obstacles I am facing. The appointment was rushed through and she did not listen to my concerns and could not be bothered to even look at the medicines I brought to show her that I am taking to try to help my issues. She blew it off. Maybe because they were not prescribed and only vitamins, I’m not sure what the reasoning was. During the visit she let me know that the community of Pensacola has outgrown the services that they can provide and if I needed more time it could be wise for me to look outside my community for help. While this may be true, for someone like me who is desperate for help it was like a punch in the kidneys. That’s just my experience. I am sure she is a good person but as a doctor, I will not be back to see her again.

They were interested in my emotional well being and never interrupted. Dr. Henderson came into the room smiling. He was very kind and compassionate. Jasmine Ramirez My labor experience was ok. The thing that bothered me the most was when it took 4 nurses and about 10-15 minutes for them to get my IV in my arm. I asked one of the older ladies - her name was Connie C. to try somewhere else and she made a snark remark “I can stick you in the boob”. Then she acted offended when I didn’t laugh. She also said my skin was too dark but luckily another nurse saw I was struggling and stepped in. She tried the other arm and got it right away. Then my baby went to the NICU and all of the nurses were wonderful except for one. It was hard for me to stay in the NICU for a long time so I would leave to Sleep and to get food. Without fail at the beginning of her shift, nurse Christina would call me and tell me to come in because my baby was being “difficult”. She said she didn’t want to struggle feeding him bottles and would tell me to come everytime she was on shift. Multiple times she would wake me up at 7am (beginning of her shift) which was irritating because I would stay in the NICU until 1-2am most nights and would barely sleep. One time I went to get lunch and as soon as I sat down to eat she called me and asked what time I would be back because my baby was getting hungry. I had plenty of my breastmilk in their fridge but she didn’t want to “struggle” to feed my baby. NONE of the other nurses had a complaint about my baby except her. They all said he was a saint so I don’t know why she gave me such a hard time. The most unprofessional thing she did was when she saw me outside of the hospital as she was leaving her shift and stopped me and told me how difficult my baby was being. She added so much stress onto my situation and I wish I told a charge nurse about it.

Alexandra T We brought my 3M old daughter here & she stayed for 4 days. In those 4 days she became a baby I didn’t even recognize . She is now happy & healthy & I couldn’t thank the staff more. Her nurses were amazing & very attentive & the cleaning crew was great. The only complaint I have is that your answering staff needs work. I called one night to check on my daughter and the man who answered told me she was NOT a patient there which is very alarming . I called 3 times and that was the answer I got after giving the spelling of her name and date of birth. Me and my husband were about to pack our toddler up and head there at 2 am. The fourth time I called a man named Alex answered and transferred me over to my daughter’s nurse . But in regards to the doctors and nurses we had great care

Melissa Hamilton The medical care received here is great. No issues with that. However the billing department is horrible. I took my child to the ER in April. I tried to pay my $500.00 copay at that visit (which I’ve done multiple times) and I was told they couldn’t take it. I insisted, stating I had the money right now on a health benefits card and wanted to pay it while the money was available. Again, she refused to take my payment. I waited a couple weeks and called the billing department myself and told them I wanted to pay it over the phone (I’ve done that before too), but they also refused to take my payment. They said I had to wait for the insurance to be processed, which everyone knows can take months. I explained to them that I wanted to pay it now since I had the money available. Again, they refused my payment. Well here we are in December, & I finally received a bill. Of course now I don’t have any money left on my health card & they can’t offer me a discount unless I am uninsured. Also, I mean no disrespect at all, but when you call the billing department you can’t even get someone that works at the actual hospital. You are sent to some call center type thing where no one speaks clear English which makes it extremely hard to communicate & understand what they telling you. I do not understand why payments can’t be made at the facility on the date of service or even by calling the billing department on a different day. Baptist Hospital will accept payment on site and allow you to call & pay over the phone. I also do not understand why people who have health insurance cannot receive financial assistance. Just because someone has insurance & works doesn’t mean we don’t also sometimes need help too.

There was no reason she treated him like that I was shocked my son was very angry and when we said please be a little more gentle, she had the nerve to say, I’ve been doing this for 30 years and she was so ugly and nasty acting. I think she needs to retire because she is old and miserable.

Del Dahl I dont know if I am at the right place or not? I had DBS surgery on 28 June 2023. During my surgery there was a nurse by my side. I think her name was Kim. From what I could tell she was a young woman, petite in size, black woman. She was amazing throughout my surgery. She comforted me and made me feel at ease. Her compassion and tender touch is what I remember the most throughout my surgery. Since Im awake for most of the surgery process. I would love to meet her personally to thank her. But I thought that she should get the recognition she deserves. DelRay Brosdahl

Everyone from the receptionist that squeezed my daughter in for her appointment after a mistake by the 9th Avenue office about my daughters pediatrician changing locations to the nurse and doctor who also arranged for her to be seen. To the professional and personable nurse and doctor that interacted with my daughter. Its important for children to have a positive impression of doctors offices at a young age and I greatly appreciate the efforts and attitudes of the employees.

Jessica Thomas Piss poor customer service. Phones calls are very rude, front staff is rude, and it is not just one side of the office. It is sad to say when a lot of us darker hue colored women have a seat in the chair, and lack professionalism in how they check you in as well as call to reschedule an appointment, it speaks volumes of how you need to restart a few people. I hung up my phone in her mid exit, rolled over and I prayed before I left this review because it needs to be said. If it was not for a lot us people needing healthcare, they would not be employed today. When my doctor left this office last November, AGAIN, I knew it was time for me to go and I do not regret my decision in finding new providers in another hospital. So I do use the term PISS POOR very strongly in this situation. Please be and stay blessed!

Katelyn De La Garza Truly every visit we’ve had in the last year had issues. To list just a few, 1.) we scheduled one for my youngest’s one year appointment, they never actually scheduled it. So the day of the appointment comes, but there’s no appointment scheduled. We schedule another one, but that now puts my baby 3 months behind shot schedule. 2.) Had an appointment for 10am, they open at 7:30 just as a reminder, so we show up for that 10am appointment, but the pediatrician is out of the office. Which is fine. But no attempts at communication? Zero calls, texts, emails, nothing to let me know we can’t do the appointment? 3.) Speaking of calls, it is close to impossible to get anyone on the phone for pediatrics. If you do happen to get on the phone with anyone, it’s after waiting for 20-30 minutes on hold. 4.) Child isn’t gaining weight like they want him to, which is probably due to him not eating enough solids, so any reasonable person would think let’s push the solids hard before we do anything else. No. They would rather pressure us into strapping down a one year old so they can stick him with a needle to make sure “nothings out of wack”. Couldn’t even tell me if they were ruling out any sort of illness or what, it was just to see. No, I will not be holding down my child so they can stick him with a needle over that. I’m not traumatizing my one year old child before even attempting literally anything else.

Cara Hulion What an absolute joke! I was referred to Community Health because my provider no longer orders/places the Nexplanon implant. I tried calling the Milton location because it was closer to get my initial appointment, and left multiple messages with no return call to schedule. I was essentially forced to try the Pensacola location. I live over an hour away, so I was a little frustrated that I would have to make an appointment for a consultation, which was nearly a two month wait, and then come back a month later for a second appointment to have my current implant removed and a new one placed. After waiting a little over 3 months from my first phone call to my second appointment, I arrive today only to find out that it was a wasted trip, because my Nexplanon was never ordered nor was my insurance authorized. Keep in mind, one trip is 120 miles round trip for me. What’s even more frustrating is that I received two phone calls today, both from staff asking if I could come in early for my appointment due to the provider needing to be out early for a meeting. Therefore, the staff had two opportunities to see that I was scheduled for a removal/insertion and two opportunities to reschedule me before I made the 60 mile drive one way, taking off work and rearranging my family’s schedule. And the sad part is, the staff sent the student in to tell me what had happened and didn’t even have the decency to let me know. She informed me I could come back in two weeks, which would be another 120 mile round trip. I asked for a refund of my insurance copay and it’s safe to say I won’t be back! I work in healthcare. I understand things do happen outside of our control, but this is completely unacceptable.

Reece Callie Had an appointment scheduled for at least two month and they waited until 9 hours before my appointment to cancel because I was a new patient and the doctor decided he was leaving early. Not to mention someone from the office called the day before and said NOTHING about having to reschedule. Don’t waste your time trying to get in here. Now I have to either wait until Jan to be seen or try to find another doctors office that actually prioritizes their patients, new or old. Very disappointed.

Paige Holdeman I have had issues with this place from the very beginning. Being new to the area and this being my first pregnancy, I didn’t know where to go/what to do and was referred to you guys through your ER. Every visit and every phone conversation has been nothing but negative. -My very first appointment a student came in with the women I was scheduled with. I was distracted by this women and another doctor while the student did the Pap smear. Never once asked me if it was okay if HE was in the room or could do anything. Never gave permission for this and didn’t realize what had occurred until after the visit out of being super distracted by the other two doctors in the room. -Went to the case worker concerned about this visit and was promised a call back from someone higher up. Never received that phone call. -Multiple appointments have needed to be rescheduled on their behalf due to scheduling errors and/or providers being out of town out of nowhere -Once it came time to do my glucose test, they were back and forth with fasting instructions so when I arrived for my appointment they were unable to do the glucose test. Told me I could still do the bloodwork to check for anemia and that they would be with me after finishing with ONE patient. I waited over 45 minutes and was unable to wait any longer. Front desk could not get any answers for me as to why I was waiting so long. -I had mentioned at my very first appointment that I vaped and would be quitting (asking for advice to quit), all of my records since have indicated we discuss that I vape at every visit since. That is not true since I took their advice and quit right off the bat. So my records look like I’ve been vaping this entire pregnancy and that simply is not okay. -I had never really felt heard by any of the providers as they have a “it’s all good” vibe about all of my concerns. -Whenever I call, the front desk staff are rude and not knowledgeable to anything. I have transferred my care and I highly suggest staying far away from this place. I wish I would have transferred sooner as I am towards the end of my pregnancy.

Ruth Ramos Checked in 15 minutes early. Got an ultrasound done fairly quickly after a 20 minute wait. They sent me back to the waiting room. A little under an hour later I finally got seen for the actual appointment. Unfortunately the walls are thin and I could hear staff complaining the whole time about people being double booked. This place does not value or respect your time. Lastly, why is the curtain see through if we have to get undressed?
