Pam Etemesi Starting from the front staff at the desk to check in the patients, to the MA and NP just great staff! They listened to my concerns, addressed my concerns in a timely, and professional manner. I went in with my toddler son (well mannered) and the staff made him feel welcomed. He asked the following day if I needed to go see the doctor and I replied Im good (guess the lollipop gesture he appreciated). THANK YOU to the wonderful staff. Im glad my friend recommended I give your office a shot. Ill keep you in mind for future medical needs that require expedited service!

Sybil Caldwell This particular location on Palm Bay Rd is fantastic. They are quick and very thorough. You can tell the medical team really cares. The nurse practioner prescribing my medicine even administered a dose in the office to speed up the pain relief and healing. She did this so I wouldnt have to wait hours for my medicine to become available at the pharmacy. Highly Recommend

Ingrid Lustaña Best Urgent Care experience I’ve ever had. Every single person (from receptionist, nurses, doctors) were so kind. I had an embarrassing procedure done. The last time I did it, the nurses and doctor were making fun of me. But here, the doc and nurses were so gentle and understanding. I only came to this facility because it was open during the holiday, but I will definitely make the drive to come back if my family or I need it!

Diane Stratton Jodie was absolutely stellar. Her communication style was extremely important while delivering vital information about my diagnosis and was still genuine and compassionate. The other staff were friendly and supportive and far as getting things taken care of quickly. This facility has exceeded my expectations and will be my go to clinic. Thanks for your hard work.

Bull Doginmelb This place is the best. They were all very helpful and quick. Casey At the front counter was very friendly and professional. As I am a new patient, Casey was able to get me all signed up into the system very quickly and easily. Almost immediately I was called back by Candy who took my vitals and was very kind and patient with me. And there was almost no wait until the provider, Lindsey, came in to check me out. She was very quick and thorough as well. Altogether, the whole process was very fast and everyone was so friendly/kind. That was my first time going to an Advent Urgent Care, but it will not be my last. Please tell these medical professionals that they are appreciated, as I appreciate them very much. Thanks again!! And happy holidays to you all! :-)

Rebeca Rincan What bad service, we arrived 10 minutes early. I brought my husband, who was very sick, and they didnt want to take care of him without doing anything. They simply said, "Come back tomorrow." I couldnt take him, I was desperate and couldnt take him to the emergency room. These places shouldnt open if they dont work with respect to people.

Steven Pellecier Went to Urgent Care the other day. I want to say thank you to the staff. Everyone is very professional and efficient. I stand by that because of the quality of service from the individual who checked me in Stacey Ann who was in training at the time. If I hadn’t seen her trainer behind her I would not have known she was in training. The provider was also fast and efficient. I feel like he heard my concerns and addressed each one carefully and appropriately. I’ve been here before and I would also like to say that Haley the manager runs a tight ship, her team is awesome and top tier. Definitely recommend.

Courtney Seeloff I was nervous to get the tests and vaccines but they’re were super nice about it. And the reception staff were super nice and courteous, especially Elaina and Steven! They made me feel welcome and were super nice to talk to and ready to answer any questions I had!

Great immunization schedule and flexibility, really listened to our needs. You dont find them like this anymore, thank you Margaret! And very affordable which is also a blessing.. I will keep bringing my son here! Highly recommended!

Lacey Bourne Margaret and all her staff are awesome! Theyre always friendly and helpful. They are willing to change immunization schedules as parents see fit without any problems. Their visits are never rushed and they take any parental concerns very seriously. My kids love them and dont ever dread going to the doctors. They always get sick kids in for a same day visit. Cant say enough about them!

Maxine Coakley The visit at Medfast Urgent Care Downtown Melbourne on 11/21/24 was top notch. My son was on crutches and the male employee (nursing assistant) immediately came outside to assist him. The intake receptionist was pleasant and friendly. The male nursing assistant who escorted him to the exam room was warm and thorough, the nurse that did the Xray and the physician assistant were all easy to communicate with and each person remained friendly and professional during our entire visit. They each explained each process and made him very comfortable, even when fitting his painful foot for a boot. The service provided by the doctor and all staff at this Medfast Urgent Care is unparalleled. I highly recommend this facility for your medical Urgent Care needs.

I watched one of the techs call a patient back and the patient struggled to get up and walked right over and offered to help her up!!!! So kind. My experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’d give you more stars if I could.awesome staff!!!

Mohamad Hammoud, DO

Address: 1223 Gateway Dr # 2B, Melbourne, FL 32901

(57) Reviews Mohamad Hammoud, DO:

Martin Grood Dr. Hammond told me the truth about my surgery prior to conducting. He had the humility to know that I would be better off with a colo rectal surgeon and did not proceed with the operation upon discovering the tumors exact location. Humility in a surgeon is a rare quality. As such, I used him to put in my port for chemotherapy. I highly recommend this man as I believe he is one of the best general surgeons you can have.
5 /5
Debbie Butcher Dr. Hammoud is very personable. He explained the surgery in easy to understand language. His staff is so nice and accommodating. Surgery went very well. Less painful than I expected. The healing process was good. If I needed another surgery I would definitely choose Dr. Hammoud again.
5 /5
Bonyta Thelusma I highly recommend Dr. Hammoud. He is a skillful, knowdgeable, culturally sensitive and professional surgeon. After suffering five gallbladder attacks in the ER, I was finally treated. I am a diabetic obese Haitian woman. I am guilty for years of unhealthy eating, poor management of my sugars, and sedentary lifestyle. Realization occurred in 2022 when all my toes on the right foot were amputated. I take accountability and responsibility for this tragic outcome. Due to my medical history, at times I feel prejudiced before I am seen. My initial encounter with Dr. Hammoud was a breath of fresh air. He was empathic, culturally sensitive, and I finally felt heard and seen with no pre-judgement. He highly recommended my gallbladder to be removed. I had surgery after meeting him in his office. The day of surgery Dr. Hammoud and his entire staff were phenomenal. Special thanks to Juan and Cathy. I went home the same day with minimal bleeding and minimal pain.. I will pray for Dr. Hammoud and his entire staff for their professionalism. A million thanks!!!! As a lessen to everyone, I have been given a second chance to life. Healthy living is what I strive for myself so I can see and watch my daughters grow.

Simply me Ive had 2 visits with Dr hammoud so far and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. I dont think Ive ever met a doctor so friendly and down to earth. I literally felt like I was sitting there talking to an old friend. That being said though, hes also professional and thorough. Took time to answer all of my questions and made sure that I understood. He will be performing my surgery to repair a hernia in 2 weeks.. Im confident that everything will go smoothly and I feel like I will be in good hands. Oh, also want to mention and give a shout out to his nurse and the rest of his staff.. pleasant experience all around. Thank you all!

Sarah Unknown The Intake Coordinator was really nice and helpful. The Receptionist that came in later did not look like she wanted to be there or was just not having a great day. The nurse spent more time with me than the PA who was in and out in 5 minutes. Since I was paying cash/card for the visit, that was the most $189 I ever spent for 5 minutes in a doctors office. Really did not like that the PA was not more personable and made me feel like I was just a paycheck. There was nothing bad about her, it was just I knew that I was not important. I appreciate the quick service but I would suggest slowing it down next time so that it doesnt make people feel like you dont really matter to them. Hopefully the medicines she prescribed are right for what is wrong with me.

Lucila Gonzalez It was my first time going there. Since I enter the clinic everything was perfect. My issue needed discretion and I had that. When I asked for information about the bus service since I never had taken the bus, the staff went above and beyond to find it. When I went to the exam room was perfect. I felt at ease and most important the nurse practitioner found what was going wrong. After going twice to my gynecologist and three times to my primary doctor. Very satisfied and the girls there are just awesome.

Andrew Covert I’m visiting family from California and I was nervous about seeking treatment out of state butFrom the moment I walked in the front receptionist staff, the nurses aids, and the executive nursing staff were top-notch. Professional kind, empathetic willing to listen patient. I walked in with a bad back and excruciating pain. They could not have been kinder and more professional with just the amount of humanness to treat somebody that doesn’t feel well. I left their feeling well and hopeful several hours after I got home everything they told me was true and I feel much better. Thank you so much to the staff.

Michelle Acosta-Sanchez Working at BHC was an unforgettable experience. I was welcomed with opened arms by providers/staff and everyone became like family. They are all amazing and I would like to say thank you for everything. Dr. Balaji and Monique Gilbert are remarkable and definitely one of a kind. Finding a provider with such compassion, dedication, and understanding is very hard to come by; but BHC providers & staff have it all. Marcelle Work I went into this office yesterday feeling very overwhelmed as I had no choice but to find a new doctor due to the passing of my PCP who was also a very close friend. I admittedly sat in the parking lot and cried for a few minutes before going in. I am so happy that I did go in, and ABSOLUTELY everyone of the staff that I came in contact with was lovely and patient and understanding. The time everyone took with me and listened to all my ailments and issues and even just my sadness of the situation of finding a new doctor was beyond amazing. I am so thankful to have found them and to feel right at ease with them being my new primary. From the moment I walked in they were welcoming and friendly and I am beyond greatful.

Barbara Navran The front office was very pleasant in person but has taken nine months and they still haven’t answered my request. Julie told me to get a walker and the staff was supposed to send a request to Apria medical supplies. Never happened. Then they hung up on me when I was asking for the umpteeth time what is happening. Needless to say I am getting a new doctor.

Johnnie D. Ainsley Dr. Thomas Anderson and Dr. Julie Anderson are at the epitome of medical professionalism and expertise in Brevard County. They take the time to explain to the patient the possible causes of a medical issue, answer questions thoroughly, and recommend dietary changes as necessary. When confronted with a challenging problem, they refer patients to the best specialists locally available and follow up to ensure prompt treatment and resolution. The front staff, too, is very knowledgeable and responsive to my refill requests. Our community is blessed to have the Anderson medical duo as a readily available resource.

Inderieca Lightbody I would not recommend Dr.Cruz to anyone, because I think shes discriminative as she doesnt treat her other customers like that, especially her Spanish speaking patients, she was very unprofessional and inconsiderate at my last visit, then has the audacity to file a claim on my policy for more than what they told me it would be. They told me the office visit was zero co pay so how are you going to file a claim that will cost me over $100 when I only visit for a prescription refill. You disgust me Dr. Cruz and I held back from writing this review after you literally told me to I can go somewhere else because I had a complaint about you taking another appointment on the same time I have an appointment, then let me sit and wait for 45 minutes to one hour. You must be the hood doctor because your location is in the hood, so thats why your attitude was like that. If your billing department dont know how to do their job properly then dont take it out on me because I had insurance the whole time I had visits with you, and dont expect me to pay that bill cause Im not going to pay it, submit the proper claim where I dont have to pay a Co pay as stated by your worker in the office. I went to another location and they never submit a claim like that when they told me the same thing about the copay. I will not return for your despicable, unprofessional, inhumane service that you provided to me, because you didnt care about me as a patient, you wanted to argue with me like were in the hood. Literally!

Justin Rutter Jannette speaks clearly and politely on the phone. It would have been easier for me to pursue medical self care if other receptionists communicated half as professionally as she does. I have rejected mental health care occasionally throughout the past ten years simply because of the attitude of the customer service staff at various other mental health offices in different locations. It is a shame other companies cant or wont prioritize patient communication to the level of excellence the Care Clinic does in Melbourne.

Erin Hara ! Was over billed and had a credit over $200 on my account, when asked to apply that credit to future visits I was told they don’t do that and I’d need to wait on a refund. The refund (I was told) would be processed after insurance paid any outstanding moneys. It was at that time (June 2024) that I asked that my chart be audited so I could get my money back. In July or August 2024 they removed $300 from my bank account without notice saying that was what I owed them and despite the credit which was over $200 at that point. Some of those months applied to the $300 I had already paid and I proved that with receipts. After so many emails and phone calls asking about my credit which were never responded to by the office manager BILLIE NAVARRO (they won’t you call her, you’re just at her mercy to reply) I finally got a response from someone named Michaela explaining my credit and after applying billing my credit was $113. She asked if I wanted to apply a $10 underpayment to the balance which brought my refund to $103 and I agreed. THATS WHEN ALL COMMUNICATION STOPPED. I sent so many emails asking how and when my refund would come and not one person responded. I wanted to be sure if they were mailing a check, I could keep an eye on my mailbox. I was never abusive or aggressive, I just wanted an answer and my refund. Now it is December 2024. When I tried to make an appointment with my therapist is October I was told I needed to talk to BILLIE NAVARRO first which is the biggest joke because she will never reply to voice or email messages. I’ve had to find another therapist and THEY STILL WILL NOT REFUND ME the $103 they owe me. I had a wonderful therapist I really liked but billing’s thieving and dishonesty caused me to lose my access to her. I never even got a letter explaining why they halted my access to my therapy. PAY ME WHAT YOU OWE ME AND LETS ALL MOVE ON NOW!

Ely I feel like Ive been scammed. They had me pay $230 for a patient establishment fee in advance for a virtual visit, but I was never seen. Customer service explained they would issue a refund, but that was over a month ago now and I have yet to recieve anything back. I have lost count of how many times I have tried reaching out to the office to ask for any follow up, but theyve only answered their phones twice. Both times Ive been told someone will get back to me. Im still waiting, and they still have my money. Im a struggling college student who put out the money because I was despate for mental health assistance; now I regret seeking help to begin with. Please do NOT make the mistake I have and skip this clinic entirely. Now Im out the $230 I couldve put towards more dilligent care. - Emily Patterson

Beth Ald Walked into the ER yesterday and although the nurses and the doctor(for the 50 seconds seen) were all very kind, there were some issues. The only question about medications asked to me was "are you on blood thinners?" I was then prescribed a medication that does have adverse reactions to other medications I take. Good thing I check. The absolute worst thing is the state of the ER bathroom! Unacceptable! Blood on the floor, wall and sink! Wasnt cleaned for 3 hours (I was there for 6). oh and the release instructions said they went over things that were never mentioned Have to add- I know it is an emergency room but am I supposed to pretend I didnt hear the medical history of the person in the same bay as I am? I got so much info I could answer questions for that patient

Kare JC Steward hospital is the worst, they are always short staff, pray you don’t die there as intelligence is limited there. The ethics of this company is garbage! They don’t pay their bill, are filing for bankruptcy at this current time, and likely money laundering. Stay away!!! Unless you have a death wish than go. They no longer are doing lawn care and city should site them for being out of code. Disgusting and a shameful place to call a hospital. People of Sebastian deserve a better company to care for those in need of good health care.

Linda Schlosser I used the outpatient department for a procedure. All the people were kind, attentive and friendly from the intake and technology staff to the nurses and doctors. They made sure I was comfortable and the Medicare insurance took care of everything it was supposed to.
5 /5
Jeremy Coleman I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but in this case, I had to. I’m so disgusted with my recent visit to the ER that I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent anyone else from going through this. Five weeks ago, I had surgery at a different hospital to correct a 21- and 56-degree curve in my spine. Recently, I started experiencing excruciating pain in my upper back, and I suspected that a screw was coming loose from one of the rods. I went to the ER, explained my situation, and got a CT scan, which confirmed that the screw was indeed coming out. When I first arrived, they gave me muscle relaxers and pain medication, but neither provided any relief. The nurse checked on me later and asked how I was feeling, to which I responded that I felt exactly the same—I didn’t feel the medication working at all. After the doctor confirmed the issue with the screw, he reassured me by saying that he would prescribe pain medication until I could see my surgeon. I thought, “Great!”—especially since Hurricane Milton was hitting the next day, and the last thing I wanted was to be stuck without power and in severe pain. Imagine my shock when I found out the prescription was for the exact same medication that had done nothing for me intravenously, now in oral form. I understand there’s an opioid epidemic, but at some point, doctors need to recognize when its appropriate to prescribe actual pain relief. I feel for people struggling with addiction, but I am not willing to endure the pain of a screw coming loose in my spine because of their poor choices. When doctors are too scared of the consequences of prescribing opioids to the point that they allow patients with legitimate pain to suffer, something needs to change. If a failed screw in my spine isn’t enough to warrant proper pain management, then what is? If doctors are too afraid to help due to fear of government reprisals, what are we supposed to do? Just lie down and suffer? After this experience, I might return to this hospital for something as minor as a stubbed toe or maybe even a blister, but I wouldn’t trust them to care for anything more serious. I strongly suggest traveling the extra distance to Holmes Regional, no matter how badly youre injured—you won’t receive the help you need here. The screw that came loose is the top left of the X-ray UPDATE: the reply they posted asking to speak to me goes to a blocked email address that just returns the email as undeliverable. The reply is a sham to make you think they care.

MARANDA ARLINE I had to wait until I felt better to write this review. I was recently hospitalize here for 4 days and when I tell you my experience was awesome. I tried not to to be a nuisance due to being in pain, but Nichole and Rosa were the best. Everybody was good and very respectful, but I could only remember them because all the anesthesia had wore off by then. If I had to be hospitalized again, I will go all the way to Sebastian first. Even though they went through the completeness to Orlando Health while I was there, they did not miss a beat. Thank you again to all the ladies and gents who were part of my recovery.

Linda King Nurses were great!! 1st dr not so great 2nd dr I saw was a peach! Unfortunately the er room I was in was not clean, trash on the floor, potato chips on the floor just plain dirty.

Michael Talis The ER is old, outdated, and filthy. Even something as simple as a trash can that is broken cant be replaced? The staff use their hands to lift the lid and then touch the patient without changing gloves. Hospitals should be clean, and you shouldnt feel like you will get more sick from being in one. And why do they allow cleaning people to come in patient ls rooms to empty trash. Isnt that some sort of hipa violation? Update, the staff has horrible attitudes. Waited 2.5 hours for a CT. The 1 person that can do it has an attitude and is miserable to deal with. Over 6 hours to get treatment. How does an ER in the city of Melbourne only have 1 ER doctor on. Wont be coming back here for anything. So the response from Melbourne hospital must be automated because they dont reach out after you send them your contact.

Donna Braun My visit to Melbourne Regional was very satisfying. Everyone there doctors nurses employees were very caring and helpful. The doctor that was caring for me went above and beyond the problem that I was there for. I have a hernia that was really bothering me but the doctor that I saw back home told me that it was only due to the infection I had and there was no problem. This doctor at Regional Medical said there was a problem and I had to have it out ASAP because it was acting up and dangerous was far from what the New York doctor had told me. I was more than grateful for his advice. It is going to help me avoid serious problems. So again thank you very very much for your expertise and attention to my condition. Sincerely , Donna Braun.

Secole Boothe Dr. Connolly and Heather were awesome! They were professional, courteous, and empathetic. They were very personal and evidence-based driven in their approach to my care. Even though Im a health-care professional myself they still never failed to explain things to me as if I never could understand. I appreciate their candor and time spent with me. I felt a million times better after receiving fast, timely, and emergent care on our first day as Orlando Health employees. I cannot wait to see the continual growth for Orlando Health here in Brevard County.

Dawn Lara These people were amazing!!! Ive had AFib at least 9 times in two different states, 4 hospitals. This was, BY FAR, the best experience Ive had in a hospital. I checked into the ER at 730a and was out by 11 am, with defibrillation! Usually, it takes 4 days. They had me laughing and cutting up the whole time. Shout out to MENurses-Matt (intake), Ryan, Erick, Taylor, and the X-ray guy with the A+, #1 curtsy! Thanks for fixing me up; even if I didnt get superpowers on my 8th defibrillaton! And Orlando Health, please reward this team with some new equipment. Added picture of the "Emergency 51" defibrillator; which still works great, BTW!

My Universe Had a recent Colonoscopy with Dr. Ruiz. Nursing staff were very friendly. Gave me a heated blanket which was nice. Anesthesiologist and his assistant were thorough in explaining what to expect. The assistant even held my hand as she put me to sleep to assure me everything will be alright. When I woke up I did not feel groggy or sore. After a week, they called me and explained about the result and a clean bill of health. Next appointment in 10 yrs! The endoscopy area was also quiet and clean.

Nicole Sinnott I have such a mixed review of this place. The nurses, respiratory team, one physician in particular were amazing to our son. They were so kind, and helpful. There was another doctor we saw, I cannot remember his name for the life of me, but he had dark hair and the only way you could even tell he was part of the staff was by his badge, was horrible. He was arrogant, entitled, and just rude to us. He also gave my son a misdiagnosis. He told us my son had early signs of pneumonia per his Xray, I immediately took him to a children’s hospital the next day and over TEN physicians and staff members reviewed his X-rays and confirmed he did not have any signs of pneumonia. He was so rude to us and acted like we were incompetent and I do not suggest him in the slightest. Edit: He prescribed my son antibiotics and gave him too high of a dose. The PHARMACY had to catch it and call him.

Trena Ward Dr was great. But when I called back to discuss symptoms getting worse the nurses were nothing but rude to me. I give the nurse who answered my called 0 BELINDA. LEARN YOUR MANNERS!!! If you can’t have compassion for sick people, maybe you’re in the wrong profession, baby

Summer Davis I wouldnt come back to this hospital even if I was about to die. Im not even sure where to begin! Check in people are rude, nurses are even worse, you almost never get to speak to a doctor, its always a PA and they also seem to have some kind of attitude. If you dont like the career you chose then why take the job at all? The waiting room is one of the smallest Ive ever seen, and intake is seriously violating HIPPA by leaving the door open while taking vitals and talking about the problem at hand. Sometimes you dont even get to the back room, someone whos not even a doctor is allowed to diagnose and treat you and send you on your way home after the entire lobby hears whats wrong with you. My husband is here being seen, Ive been here since 11am with him. He passed out after turning blue from lack of oxygen. We are still in a back room waiting to be transferred to his actual room. They told us he was being admitted at 4pm after I through a fit about them not taking him passing out seriously. We have been here 3 times this month. Each time a different contradicting diagnosis. They dont even know what wrong and keep playing guessing games with my husbands life. He was also told multiple times multiple different visits that he did not have a hernia until today, when an actual doctor finally spoke with him and told him he absolutely does have a hernia on top of whats going on with him. I called patient advocacy, no answer, left a message no call back. This is severe medical neglect at its finest. This is the most disgusting hospital Ive ever had to deal with. With the most disgusting people working here. Just nasty vile things being set out loud that they dont understand we can hear. It almost seems like every nurse here is more focused on how long their hair is their lashes and their nails. Its like walking into a beauty contest instead of a place to treat sick patients that are possibly dying. After waiting 3 hours for a blanket I finally hunted down anybody I could find to get one for my husband whos been shaking for hours cold. I just asked again at 8:00 p.m. when is he being transferred to his room? He was admitted at 4:00 and is still sitting in the back. I was then told "I dont know if were getting beds tonight" seriously???!!! Your a hospital! Is this really how Orlando health treats his patients? Hes supposed to be in a room monitored by machines right now all night long so we can figure out whats going on. I dont care who comes in with a little cut or a cold My husband literally passed out two days in a row from no oxygen intake! And since hes being admitted I count that as being more severe than others. Since they keep saying it goes based off of priority why is this not a priority? I will be hiring a lawyer, this is a giant lawsuit at hand. No wonder why they keep changing their name from wusthof, to Steward medical, to Melbourne regional medical, and now to Orlando health. You can change the name from being sued so many times but you cant replace the crappy employees here? Really? And you wonder why you keep getting sued!

Lorri Vetrano I wasn’t sure what I was going to do after my primary physician went to another practice, however I am very glad that I stayed to see the new doctor, Dr. Rankin. She is very thorough, warm & compassionate. She takes her patients seriously & explains everything in a manner I am able to understand. Dr. Rankin has also been one of my biggest cheerleaders. Sheena is also great & always follows up promptly when responding to questions & providing test results. We have also seen Lori who is a great Nurse Practitioner. Lori is also very caring & warm and always takes great care of us! Thank you to you all!

Lea Ann Lewis I’ve never been treated better by the entire staff, some of them I never even knew. Dr. Rankin is the most personable and thorough doctor I may have ever been to. Her staff are the same way. It’s a long drive for me, but my care and health is well worth it. I highly recommend the facilities and Dr. Rankin and her staff know how to respect and carefully listen to the patient. They are a real breath of fresh air in the medical field!

Cayla Schwager Everyone was super respectful and nice. As well listened to me and even though I was the last person in the building while they were trying to close and they didn’t rush me or not give me the same time and dedication they gave other patients! Very positive and now they are my primary, pain management, neurologist and several other doctors I go to in their practice. As well have great connections to get u the quickest and most effective health care.

Kevin Cedik I am new to the area (within the past year) and my wife and I became new patients. We have not had very good luck thus far with this office. Insurance Issues: For some reason, when billing sends to the insurance, they are listed as a specialist and you will have to pay the larger co-pay. I checked with my insurance on it, and it is all up to how the doctors office is submitting it. After addressing it with the Dr. office, there is still no resolution and the doctors office still submits it as a specialist rather than as a primary care physician. Customer Service and Support Staff Issues: Additionally, they are not good at scheduling appointments or organization. My wife had an appointment at 8am, when she arrived she was told the doctor was in a meeting and could not see her until 9am. Double booking the doctor and pushing the patient off is not very good customer service. My wife could not stay and asked for a refund of the co-pay she already paid. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the staff was more irritated that we just did not reschedule. They advised us that they tried to reach out to us and could not reach us. However our phone number had just been updated the previous week with the office so everything was up to date. They indicated that they tried to contact me instead, but when we challenged that, they noticed they did not even have a phone number for me. So clearly they lied to help cover up their own mistake. The administration support staff at this office needs more organizational training. We are searching for a new doctor.

Mygmai L How are they supposed to be accepting new patients? I called on 9/2/22 to get setup as a new patient for routine medical service. I was told the first available appointment would be in December. That was ok since there’s nothing urgent needed. Then I was told that a scheduler would call me back. To setup my patient profile and schedule. Two weeks later , no calls , no emails and their phone just rings. Oh well. Time to try another Dr who a has competent staff

Sarah Leverett We went to this hospital multiple times because my husband has had chest pains and his arm going numb and they have refused to tell us anything or do any real help for him. He’s young he’s not an old man so you think they’d be taking this seriously but they blow us off and don’t even try to get him any sort of help. They just “refer” him somewhere else and those places tell us he needs to be in the hospital. They don’t care about you or your family. I wouldn’t waist my time here.

Carole Gilbert I only have one star because the nursing staff were great. The hospital itself is horrible. Severely understaffed. My Mom came in with a seizure on Saturday morning. The doctor ordered an EEG to measure any continued seizure activity, which wasnt done until Tuesday. Seizure pads were not on the bed-the had bedsheets taped to the bed with tape. In 5 days, no one ever came in to turn my Mom. I could go on and on, but am so angry with the lack of care my Mom received. Staff kept telling me that it takes time for change to happen. Im sorry but, time is something that she doesnt have. She is now in a Hospice Unit and end of life.

Taylor Cohen This place is truly pathetic. My mom has internal bleeding and they aren’t progressing her care what so ever. They keep giving her the run around and it’s a total waiting game. She spent over 11 hours in the ER and couldn’t even get blankets or pillows. They kept telling her they would move her, but those were empty promises. She asked for pain meds which those orders were never put in. Even the nurse told her this once she got on to a different unit. Now she is waiting to get additional tests and is in agony. They won’t give her anything for the pain and haven’t fed her now that the procedure she has been waiting for all day was canceled. This place is so severely understaffed and it shows through how horrible the patient care is. This place needs investigated.

Tracy Schmidt My brother has been a patient on the third floor for several weeks. The compassionate care he has received has been so heartwarming for me and my family to experience. I wanted to take a moment to mention Dawn Russell, his RN on the third floor. Her kindness and quiet calm really helped my brother and my family better deal with what will surely be his final days. She listened to him, and tried to calm him consistently. Victoria from the cancer center came by to check on him. Her real concern for his well-being was obvious and appreciated by our family. Finally, Maggie his overnight RN worked to get him cleaned and covered to maintain his dignity so he could be transferred to Vitas Hospice to complete his journey in life. I am certain there were others that assisted him, especially when he was cantankerous because he was so ill. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank your staff and the Vitas staff that completed his paperwork and physical transfer. I dont know if I will ever require your services, but I will always rave about the excellent care given to my very ill brother. Thank you, Tracy Schmidt, sister of Paul Shankle room 310.

RKEGV Goody Every time I bring my kids here, the staff is so friendly, genuine and empathetic. The office is clean and they are efficient. I feel that the providers are also here because they genuinely care about their patients. Some urgent cares seem to rush patients out, which I do understand that with urgent care they have a revolving door so-to-speak. But here you can tell that they want to make sure the patient/ parent of has been heard and their feelings and concerns are validated. I work in the medical world as an MA, Ive worked in specialty and Internal Medicine. And I have to say from a professional and personal standpoint, I recommend Dairy Road Urgent Care for all your acute (not chronic) needs.

Mayra Ramos My son began experiencing ear pain on Saturday night. I called on Sunday to inquire if we could come in as a walk-in. The receptionist explained that they close at 5 p.m. but prefer patients to arrive by 4 p.m., which makes perfect sense to ensure they have enough time to see everyone. She was extremely professional, caring, and polite. The nurse practitioner was thorough and knowledgeable. This was our first visit, but it certainly wont be our last. While it’s tempting to keep such great finds to yourself, I believe its important to share when healthcare professionals provide care with such professionalism and compassion. Thank you!

Shuck Cimitiere Always loved this place, but the last few times I had to stop in were a mess. Insane wait time. I had to wait 35 minutes in an exam room for the physician to stop talking to his colleague about the new season of White Lotus before being seen.

Staff is always friendly, front desk is always courteous, nurses and doctors have always helped us. We have nothing bad to say about the Babcock location. It is very convenient. Especially now that they have added a walk up clinic. Monica Nelson is amazing and so is Raquel that is in the walk-up clinic. We really appreciate everyone at Brevard health alliance at the Babcock location.

Michelle N. Myrick Today was our first experience with BHA aside from making the appointment. Being new Palm Bay transplants, it has been challenging to establish medical care. Our experience with BHA, from the first phone call, to the check in, to the medical professionals during the visit was nothing short of excellent. At no time did we feel we were not the only patients in the building, however, when we arrived the waiting room was so full we had nowhere to sit. It was of little consequence as we were called back in less than 5 minutes after check in. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and professional. My 14 year old received a vaccine while there and she commented after we left how, for the first time ever, she barely felt the injection because of the gentleness of the MA. The BHA office and staff at 5720 Babcock have won us over on our first visit! We look forward to continuing with BHA for our health care moving forward.

Drew F This place was ok a few years ago but it’s really gone downhill. It feels short staffed. Patient needs help using the bathroom and it takes over an hour to get assistance. Nurses can’t get responses from providers in a timely fashion. No one seems to know what’s going on. Patient is a Health First employee to boot. If you can’t take care of your own family, what are you even doing?
