The nurses and Aides are very lovely and attentive . We appreciate them all…

Shannon Spindler Our experience here was extremely disappointing. This facility is disorganized and chaotic, and apart from the PT program, the quality of care fell way below expectations. There are many flaws. I would strongly advise against choosing this place.

matthew goetz I am the caregiver and son of 2 parents who are very ill. I relocated from New York City to live with so they could receive proper care at home. This review involves my father who, at 88 years of age, suffers of ALS (Lou Gherigs disease).
Not sure where to begin; will start with names. First the administrator Adele is fantastic beyond words--ALWAYS available and approachable -- Im astonished that the top management of a facility is this hands-on and so easy to speak to. The other names: Shimmey, Andrew, Jennifer, Patrice, Akash, Vicki (if Ive left others out, my apologies). ALL of these individuals are top management and they approached me to make sure everything with my fathers rehabilitation experience at Sapphire was going well. My heartfelt thanks to them for a hands-on approach that surpassed my expectations beyond imagination.
The rehabilitation care my father experienced after his hospitalization was excellent. This was the first time my father was in a facility and that was the only obstacle. He simply wanted to be at home (which is completely understandable). I was hoping he could stay in the facility a bit longer to receive the exceptional rehabilitation care he was receiving (for about 2 weeks), however, he really wanted to get home and the mutual decision was to have him discharged to home.
I found the staff on all levels dedicated to the job they were doing. I suspect there may be some negative reviews, and, who in the life has not had bad days or made mistakes. From what I saw (and I visited regularly) everyone was committed to my fathers well being and rehabilitation.
Also, the facility is clean and does present as a facility -- they have very "homey" and agreeable areas where residents and patients can participate in activities and socialize. I even asked them if I could stay there after my father left. Of course this was tongue-in-cheek, and, there was some truth to it; they create a very pleasant livable environment.
I would not hesitate, if need be, to have my father go there again for rehabilitation; or, even for myself if I needed rehabilitation.
On behalf of my family, thank you all at Sapphire to help my father improve his condition!

Michele Chirico Brown My mother is currently in rehab at Sapphire.
Last year she was in rehab as well. Entering in a wheelchair and walking on her own two months later.
The staff is made up of loving and caring individuals. PT is outstanding. The nurses are unbelievably efficient. I would never send my mother anywhere else.
I highly recommend Sapphire.

Dee dambra The is my first review of Sapphire since my Mom was taken into Sapphire on Friday, January 12, 2024. I’ll update this down the road.
Like any business, none are perfect. But when it’s your Mom or Dad, everyone wants their parent(s) to have five star care. Since January 12th we had about three incidents that needed to be addressed and changed. The administrator, Adele, the lady that took my Mom into their facility, has come through for us for each situation. My Mom, not expecting, or happy about being in the position she is in right now (health issues came up, an unexpected accident that occurred that was out of our control) is getting wonderful physical and occupational therapy while at Sapphire. It’s her favorite part of the day, which is a plus since that is the reason she is there. So thank you so much to Adele for addressing the issues we had & for helping to make my Mom’s current visit at Sapphire more comfortable. She’s happier now & able to sleep better, which helps her to be stronger & motivated for her p/t & o/t sessions.
June 16, 2024
This is just an update - June 16, 2024 - My mom was released from Sapphire back in April. Everyone at Sapphire was just wonderful to my mother. She made so many friends amongst the employees and other patients. My mom is home now, getting around but still wearing a neck brace & will need surgery on her neck because it didn’t heal as well as expected. Her rehab was not going to or expected to fix that injury. So the point of this second review is to just express how thankful I am to the team at Sapphire. Six months ago we didn’t know if my mother would walk again, but thanks to EVERYONE at Sapphire, in April she walked out of the facility with her walker & her belongings for me to take her back home.

Tiffany S I love that I can have all of my specialties and my primary all here in one place and able to work together! I think this place is great. Plus the MyChart makes everything soo much easier! The facility is very nice and I never have issues finding things. All of the doctors I’ve met here are wonderful and at the top of their game!
5 /5
Erik Thompson I have to say that my recent stay was a very good experience! From housekeeping, food services (Donnie) not to mention the nurses and doctors! Too many to list! Who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable! Overall a great experience!
5 /5
Robin Hults First of all, there needs to be signs on the first floor stating where each Dr is. “Physicians-3,4,5 “ does not help at all.
Second… this place has become more like a business and not a Dr.s office. I went to my General Physician for a physical and because I asked a medical question it could not be my physical! I now have to make a new appointment and not ask any questions in order to get my physical done.
Third… where is the White Women’s magazine! Since when medically have black women and white white been different medically except for our skin color. I am offended by this. A Medical Place in my opinion is not a place for political opinions.

3.Dr. Dhiren B. Patel, MD
Address: 111 Maltese Dr, Middletown, NY 10940
(8) Reviews Dr. Dhiren B. Patel, MD:
Mark Hauer Dr. Patel was extremely kind when he had to tell me that I have cancer. I am so grateful he found it so that I can receive treatment.
A blood test was taken in his office on my way out which now seems unnecessary, because shortly thereafter I saw my oncologist (that Dr. Patel recommended) and that office took their own blood tests. Also, the office is very good about letting you know beforehand all the charges for the colonoscopy, except for the surgery tray ($350). Fortunately my insurance covered this.
Dr. Patel is a competent and caring doctor.

(14) Reviews Dr Alan Goldfischer, MD:
Margaret Rutherford I dont know about the bad reviews I have seen about Dr. Goldfisher and his staff but I am 80 years old and I find his staff very polite and friendly. As for Dr. Goldfisher, it took me a long time to find a Dr that was very thorough and he speaks with my Primary Dr Andrew Hirsch and they compare notes. . He has been the most considerate Dr. and he does a wonderful job making sure I know exactly what he is doing, why and explains the outcome in layman terms. He has never rushed me out of the room and always leaves me understanding his process. Thank you Dr. Goldfisher. I appreciate you and your kind staff.

Birgit OConnell-Blatt I have been with Dr. Goldfischer for 22 years. I love him, hes the best. Ive recommended him to family members and friends and all were extremely satisfied with him and his staff. They make an uncomfortable experience more acceptable

Stephanie J I typically dont leave reviews, but this time I will. The customer service in this medical facility is awful, including management. I would not recommend this practice.

Lainey Geniti I would give zero stars if possible. This office staff is outright nasty. We brought an elderly Warwick to her 10:30 am apt, when chauffeur and patient arrived office staff told her she had to reschedule and it was 10:28am. Today is Feb 6,2023 and the soonest they are willing to R/S her for is Feb 24,2023. I called as soon as I was made aware of the situation and asked if the chauffeur and patient were to sit and wait, would it still be possible for her to be scene today? I was told to accept “No” as an answer and was hung up on.

(13) Reviews Dr. Steven J. Fishman, M.D.:
Carol OConnor After going to several dermatologist Dr. Fishman was going to be my last stop before heading to NYC to my old dermatologist.
His entire office from receptionist, Jessica ( the assistant) she was wonderful, to the checkout guy they were all were polite, professional and reassuring.
Jessica did not rush me. She listed all my concerns. Only waited less than 5 minutes to see Dr. Fishman. He was very professional, thorough and put me at ease immediately.
I would highly recommend him.

Carol Buonocore Dr. Fishman is the BEST dermatologist within the Hudson/ Northern NJ area,
He is brilliant, meticulous, has a great bed side manner, is fast, and diligent. His staff is always smiling and friendly.
If I could give him six stars I would.

Amy Figueroa I have been a patient of both Dr. Fishman and the NP Loriann for at least a decade now. There is no one else I trust with my skin and no where else I would rather go. They are a brilliant group of professionals who know the skin and truly are the BEST!

Ilbere Cejku I’ve been to Dr. Fishman by recommendation and I really had the best experience I’ve never had before. Dr .Fishman was very professional , respectful and really knows how to take care of skin . I highly recommend him

Mark shahid If you value your time please dont go there.
The doctor and his office have no respect for their patients time. you will make an appointment and wait for an hour.
This is very unethical and extremely disrespectful. A lot of patients take days off and try to work around doctors schedules, the least the doctor and his staff can do is be mindful and respectful of their patients time.

(11) Reviews Goshen VA Clinic:
Avery Leider I am a disabled veteran and have been seen at the Goshen VA Clinic regularly since 2016. The care there has always been excellent. It is a small clinic, so you have to adapt to their resources, like, that the lab work is only done in the mornings, and the My Healthy Vet self-service kiosk doesnt work, but the reception staff have always been very good.
5 /5
LISA Xxx I am the new caregiver for a marine veteran that is going through detox. I called the center to make an appointment for him. It is two weeks away. That is not the worse part. I asked the woman who scheduled the appointment the address at the facility, she gets extremely nasty and says "Youve only been there a thousand times." I again explain that I have never been there. She yells, stop yelling at me and hangs up. If this is what these poor veterans have to deal with in addition to their trauma, Id say its not worth it. Fight to protect this country and then fight for the same country for healthcare and a nasty attitude to boot!

tdido Worst experience ever
He, right off the bat, started recommending all sorts of extra procedures and tests. I simply wanted my yearly exam. Due to my age (52), he told me all these additional tests were needed. When my blood work and ultrasound came back totally fine, he still insisted upon further testing. When I put my foot down, a week later, a certified letter came in the mail stating that he was dissolving our doctor-patient relationship. Ive since found another doctor. Good riddance. If you want to be borderline bullied/bamboozled by your doctor, then hes your guy. If not, keep looking.

heidi ulvila-stevens I have had three children and dr, Alexander Joanow was my pregnancy and delivery doctor, Each experience with him, he answered all my questions. I had a safe healthy delivery times three. My experience with him have been nothing less than pleasant.
5 /5
Alessandra Coelho I will never go back to this doctor, he’s money hungry. He only cares about the money he’s making through the insurances. Making me doing unnecessary procedures, after my blood work and ultrasound came back ok. They charge you co-pays for getting results over the phone. Unbelievable!! Not anymore!

Elizabeth Batista The receptionist at the Goshen office is horrible. Thats not realized where you live. But makes an appointment for Goshen without telling you to go to Goshen. When you live near the New Windsor office, then she acts so stupid. I am so disappoint it. I have cancer. Ive had it 2 previous times and this idiot reception. Lisa Schreffler My mom’s visit with the doctor. He was incredibly nice and relatable. Very down to earth and funny. If you’re looking for a stuffy doctor this is not your guy. When he spoke he spoke to both of us. It was a very pleasant visit. My mom was worried that she would get someone she didn’t connect with. When we left she was so relaxed and happy with the doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

CB Romero Dr. Chavez Carey has been my PCP for a few years. Whether its been an in-office visit or virtually, hes always taken the time to provide details about my care, really listen to my concerns, and answer any questions Ive had. I also appreciate his conservative approach to treatment options, and suggestions of more holistic approaches to dealing with certain medical issues when appropriate.
I highly recommend giving him and his caring staff the opportunity to help you with your individual healthcare needs.

Salvatore M Oh If I could give this doctor zero stars I would. I’ve been dealing with Gallbladder issues, after being released from the ER I was told to do a follow up with this doctor as the discharge doctors me my gallbladder will most likely have to be removed. Upon my initial visit the staff and nurses were very friendly and helpful. Then the doctor walks in very cocky, arrogant and full of himself. I brought all my paperwork, ultrasound, report, and CD along with a HIDA scan and CD. They all say there is a cyst on the gallbladder and the gallbladder is not fully developed. I haven’t been able to eat solid foods cause of the pain. He then says I don’t see a need for your gallbladder to be removed, it could be an ulcer. I told him I was just discharged a couple days ago from the hospital with bloodwork and there’s no blood in the urine. I told him I’m in severe pain right now he then said walk yourself downstairs to the emergency room, do what you need to do. I mean really that’s how a doctor talks to a patient. Even the nurse in the room looked at him like what the heck. I was so looking forward for this doctor to help me who I thought was going to be able to cure me. Find yourself another G.I. doctor. There’s better ones out there.

Natalie Z Dr. Cwynar was truly exceptional; he has a great personality and took his time to address all of my concerns thoroughly. Finding the office was a breeze - its clearly marked and easy to locate. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and nice, and all staff members exhibited a high level of professionalism. I highly recommend this office. My appointment, including a comprehensive exam, was completed in under an hour, with minimal wait time. I find it difficult to reconcile the negative reviews below. Even in the unlikely event of a delay, I have full confidence that the office staff would handle it with grace and professionalism, based on my recent visit. After enduring an hour plus waits in other offices without receiving apologies, I truly appreciated the atmosphere and efficiency here. Keep up the good work!

(5) Reviews Behzad Maghsoudlou, MD:
Audra S I dont typically do reviews of doctors. However, I am not sure I can even put into words how thankful our family is for Dr. Maghsoudlou (aka Dr. Mags)!! He LITERALLY has saved my fathers life at least 2 times!!! He has been treating my dad for Parkinson’s, lewy body Dementia, Parkinson’s Dementia, seizures, etc over the past 2 years.
Dr. Mags saved Poppys life when he had Encephalitis, infection in the brain. The other hospital doctors stopped treatment that was working! Treatment that Dr.Mags had started. And 2 days later Poppy was back to being hospital & bed bound. The treatment was restarted after we got ugly at the hospital. And Dr.Mags did orders from home to restart the treatment. Poppy was discharged home 3 days later!!! If it were left to the other doctors he would have died from Encephalitis being untreated!!!
He has come through for us on multiple occasions during hospital stays!! One time upon hearing Poppy was in the hospital, Dr.Mags showed up in his hospital room within 30mins!!! Other times if he cant physically get there, he made himself available for phone consult with the other doctors. And would enter orders & medications from wherever he was.
Dr.Maghsoudlou may seem rushed at times, but he isnt really. I truly think that is just because his brain is just going so fast taking in all the information, including what he is physically seeing and thinking of possible causes & this treatment plans. He is very quick thinking.
Our family will forever be grateful for the care Dr.Maghsoudlou provided & provides to Poppy!! He is intelligent, knowledgeable, caring and available in the times we have reached out in need! Anyone would be lucky to have him as a doctor in their team!!
5 /5
Ann Linsky Dismissive, rude, egotistical, and disrespectful. He didnt answer questions, and was rushed. DEFINITELY doesnt like to be challenged or entertain suggestions. He tries to make us see a different specialist at every visit because he doesnt think Medicaid patients are worth wasting his "extensive" (?) knowledge base or such expensive time on. So my wonderful daughter is short changed. Im so glad some people got out from his care alive. As a medically knowledgeable person, I asked for my daughter to get another MRI since he couldnt diagnose her and it had been over two years. He just abruptly said "no, nothing has changed." Does that mean he has x-ray vision? Or ESP? It was a responsible question and medically necessary test due to her congenital brain deformity. But the kicker was when, after literally seven minutes, he got up and walked out while I was in the middle of an important question! Our visit was over for him. Oh, he also called in the wrong medication which could have killed my daughter if the pharmacist hadnt caught it. What a medical genius. (At least in his own mind.)
1 /5
Jessica Derrick Dr Mag listens to everything you have going on. He is willing to try any and all testing to help you find relief. He is funny and makes the appointment go very smooth. He listens to what is working and what isn’t and is always suggesting new things to try. His main concern is finding relief. I have suffered with migraines my whole life and it has always been a major concern for me that nobody listens but I feel heard with Dr Mag.

Tony Beigle If I could go lower than 1 star, I would. He went through a mechanical exam, NOT asking any pertinent questions about my family medical history, not asking what meds I was on, just not asking anything. The exam was , in my opinion, not thorough, and he was, indeed just uncaring.

Kevin (Catskhiker) Ellenville Hosp has had horrible care for 30-40 years. Right now the nurses
are pretty good, but the MDs are so-so. I had a very obnoxious and rude receptionist that jerked me around forever, even after I gave her my and my
in-patient wifes name and room number. I had gone in and out of this hospital for decades without incident. On Sat Dec 28, 2024 at aprx 12:40 pm this receptionist was obnoxious to the point that I left before retorting. She sicd security and a volunteer ? on me in my wifes room (where I told her I was going) and stated that I had to return to this clerks thumb. I offered to leave & did so without going thru the lobby. I have not visited my wife (over her birthday) because of this abusive receptionist and will not return and advise others to make better choices elsewhere. THey need better functionaies to greet visitors without incident........
(reply) Perhaps then you could explain why I was inside your secure hospital with open doors until late on multiple days & nights. I dont abide with rudeness or unnecessary BS like you just delivered. I have been in private, state & federal security most of my life and gave your abusive clerk my name, my (patient) wifes name & room number. What more do you require ? Hand stamp like at a party ?
Perhaps you should take a tour of Englewood NJ hospital (where my wife actually had her back surgery) . This is a hospital where
they scan your drivers lic and are polite and professional in all their depts. Staff at this location are well trained. Their hallways are cleaner than most hospital ORs, Very Impressive. Ive been to hundreds of hospitals and yours (at best) is inconsistent.
is no where near there.

Frankie McCallops Ellenville Hospital is fast without a long wait. I went in for a infection procedure of removal. I waited for about 10 minutes and I was in a room. Samantha Boutell I was given the most upmost respect here, and I truly appreciate the professionalism that this hospital served me. I couldnt be any happier with the nurses and the doctors. At first when arriving I was not impressed due to being brought in by an ambulance. and when I got there, they couldnt put me in a room, so from the stretcher they put me into the waiting room, were from there I felt as if I was going to be there forever and possibly forgotten, but luckily I was not and I feel this was the fastest hospital visit i have ever had. i felt safe and welcomed. Thank you!

Jon On 8/11 at 2am, we brought our 2 year old for asthma concerns. We were stressed and hesitant since we were not from the area. From beginning to end the front desk, nurse and PA were all so pleasant, and professional making the experience comforting. Our baby was quickly treated, felt better and had good night sleep after. Thanks to the whole team from the bottom of my heart.

Voiry Jay My husband and I went in to the emergency room because he was in severe tooth pain. I have never seen this man in so much pain before.
Upon entering, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, the nurse came in and was extremely rude. They treated him as if he was faking it. The doctor was mocking my husband openly and was impatient and yawning in my husbands face.
The nurse refused to tell us what pill she was gonna give him for the pain. Ive never seen such unprofessional staff before.

Yailin Espana Everyone is so dismissive from receptionist to whoever it is sees you in the urgent care rooms. First time coming here and Ive never felt so dismmised in my life regarding my health. I dont think youre sick enough yadda yadda was this ladies attitude towards me but yet Ive been sick a month, vomiting, nauseous, chills, fever, body aches, a lot of mucus and a constant painful cough. I got swabbed everything is negative, I just got a well call you with the results (that they didnt tell me I could see online). I feel like my insurance was scammed and this is why I dont go to the doctors due to experiences like this. Anyways I wouldnt recommend anyone coming to this place. You might not ever be sick enough unless youre on your death bed to them.

Melissa McGrath I will not go here again. I went to urgent care on Monday for facial throat and neck swelling and possible sinus infection. They gave me a covid rsv flu test, and marked it as a lower respiratory infection. They came back negative, but thats what they marked my prescription for steroids for. They never listened to my lungs with the stethoscope. They refused to prescribe antibiotics and I have been coughing watery substance since later that day. Sarah Lund I took my 3 year old son here after his Primary Care Doctor at Garnet Health told us to do so because he wasn’t pooping. It had been 4 days without a bowel movement. They made us sit for 4 HOURS acting like it’s not an emergency, we were begging them for an answer after waiting another hour post x-Ray, just for them to tell us that it is, in fact, an emergency, and he needs to be taken to the ER. I will be following up to report this reckless behavior, by doctors that could not care less. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT TO THIS URGENT CARE. NOTHING IS URGENT TO THEM. NOTHING. NOW AFTER 4 HOURS OF WASTING MY TIME I AM ON MY WAY TO THE ER WITH A 3 YEAR OLD THAT WAS LOOKED OVER.

jason G Was treated at St Anthony for a very bad nosebleed. The ER was very busy, with only one doctor on staff. After some time my nosebleed stopped, after sitting for a couple of hours, the doctor released me. Since, i never had such a bad nosebleed, i specifically asked the doctor if he should pack my nose to prevent another nosebleed. He felt like it was not necessary, and i was released. I drove home which is only 3 blocks from the hospital. As soon as I walked in my nose started bleeding extremely bad, causing me to swallow blood. My wife called a ambulance, once the ambulance arrived I was brought back to St Anthony. After the bleeding was stopped, my nose was packed with cotton bandage and i was released. The time between my first admission to my second was less then a hour. To my surprise the hospital not only charged my health insurance twice, but charged me two co-payments. I felt that this was unethical behavior since i was treated for the same condition, and if my nose was packed the first time, there would be no need for a second admission. The billing office called me back and told me that it was two separate admissions, and that on my first admission i was “anxious to go home” , which i felt was very unprofessional. They informed me that they would have to speak with the hospital staff, and get back to me, I still have not heard back from the billing office, and continue to receive invoices. This used to be a great community hospital, in fact I have had two of my grandchildren born at St. Anthony. This review is also not a reflection of the amazing nursing staff, or the overwhelmed physician, only of the hospital administration.

Dawson Bartkus Honest review here… I had some family members use this hospital. But they were judged by appearance and overcharged on a simple procedure. It’s unfortunate that healthcare takes sucks us for every nickel and dime just to feel better. If you want to ensure your loved ones are well sought after. Please do not go here

Josh Miller I’m not going to go into detail about our experience because I don’t want my family’s medical history displayed on a google review. I spoke to a woman after our visit to St Anthony’s who works in the patient advocacy department and she was very nice and apologetic. That being said, my opinion is that this hospital needs to be investigated by the federal government and shut down.

Jory F When someone comes to the hospital with severe anxiety, and chest pain the worst thing you can do is put them in a small room, close the curtain and let them sit in there for 2 hours, suffering.
Nobody came in to see if I was okay. They must have walked by 10 times but never came in to check on me I never even got to see a doctor. My anxiety was so high I had to leave. I probably wouldnt have seen a doctor for another 2 hours because he was so busy at the computer. As I walked out I walked through nurses standing around talking to the ambulance guys. Nobody even cared that I was walking out
Nobody asked me why I was leaving. Nobody cared. And please dont respond to me with your silly callpatient experience response
That was my experience at St. Anthonys Hospital.

From start to finish, the labor and delivery staff were compassionate, warm, attentive and made my birthing experience so amazing! Denise and Natasha eased my anxiety and reassured me when my labor turned an alternative route. Highly recommend having your baby here, you will be so glad with the experience!!

Steve Kos I would not recommend this doctor. He failed to diagnose my case of frozen shoulder, a very common ailment. The second doctor I went to, at the Hospital for Special Surgery (the top rated orthopedic practice in the country), said I had unmistakable symptoms of it. Although the MRI Id gotten through Wiener showed a partial rotator cuff tear, the second doctor said that that was not what I was suffering from. Wiener also offered me nothing for the pain I was experiencing, and when I asked about physical therapy, he told me it would be a waste of time. The second doctor gave me an instruction sheet for a series of stretching exercises I could do at home (standard treatment for frozen shoulder), and recommended a cortisone shot to reduce inflammation. Not only did it alleviate the pain, but it enabled me to do the exercises more effectively. When I started out, I couldnt raise my arm to the side above my waist, or reach around behind my back to pull a belt around, for two examples. Within two months, I had regained most of my range of motion, and within another month I was virtually back to normal. Aside from his bad diagnosis and total lack of a treatment plan, I found Wiener personally to be extremely unpleasant. He was cold, short, arrogant, dismissive, and argumentative. In trying to understand what was going on with my shoulder, there was one question I asked him to which he replied - What difference does that make? With the same amount of breath, he could have just answered it. Seriously, find a different doctor. The other guy I went to was Tony Wanich. He has an office in Saddle River, NJ. A little bit out of the way but totally worth it.

The receptionist was great unfortunately this is a doctors office and the doctors are absolutely terrible. Went in with severe vertigo and all they did was take my blood pressure and told me to eat and drink more, which I explained I already have. Did not check my ears or my eyes. Went to an urgent care and they immediately identified my issue as vertigo because of congestion in my ear. Disgrace they are even allowed to call themselves doctors.

All the staff from the ED, unit nurses/care partners/pulmonologists/respiratory techs/xray techs/laboratory techs/food services/housekeeping made me feel comfortable and relaxed and introduced themselves. I didnt want to spend my New Year in the hospital but Im happy to say I got great care and I really appreciate all the people who provided for me. Thank you!

Desiree McConnell I don’t know about all the facilities the hospital offers but I can say that the staff who has taken care of my 92 year old grandfather have been exceptional. My grandpa was admitted with a uti that became septic and the doctors and nurses got him stable. He is on palliative care and has been treated with so much kindness, respect and nurturing. As the family members it means so much to know when we leave at night that he is being looked after so well. The kindness of the staff did not end with my grandfather. They’ve been so good to my grandma and the rest of us. They bring us drinks and chat with us. A special thank you to the Isaac and Carol for always going above and beyond for grandpa. Taking the extra time needed to feed him and wash him up daily has made him feel comfortable. Much thanks to the head nurse for running a tight ship on the 3rd floor. Cathy makes the time to answer any and all questions. The physical therapist Karen has been not only gentle with my grandpa but also with us when explaining what we can expect. The palliative nurse, Elizabeth looked into all options and broke them down for us with kindness and professionalism. The care workers and have also been informative and helpful. Grandpas patient advocate, Amber, has sat down with us as well and made sure all needs were met. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care anywhere else. I hope that people take the time to appreciate those in the medical field who handle themselves professionally and bring the medical care needed for those in need. It can be easy at times to forget all that goes in to taking care of the ill, especially during stressful situations. However, we need to show our gratitude when it is deserved.

Christine Jacobsen If I could give this a 0 rating, I would. My son is 16 and has a nasty case of eczema. I made an appointment with the Goshen office over a month ago for today (earliest appointment available). When I got there, we waited 25 minutes on line to check in only to find out that they cancelled our appointment. They did not call to notify us and then we were told that they couldn’t see him because he is under 18 and we will need to find a pediatric dermatologist. I won’t even bother with the hassle of having to move plans around and the time lost on our part. Just plain inexcusable.

Raquel Espinosa I personally havent visited this office, but a family member of mine had a gynecology appointment today and I am writing a review on her behalf. This was her first time having an appointment with a gynecologist and had made this aware with a doctor at Crystal Run Healthcare in Goshen, but the doctor did not show any concern or had even tried to comfort her knowing it is a scary and uncomfortable appointment for a first timer. This doctor not only was insensitive but once she was about to begin the examination, she didnt even give a warning that she was going to insert an examination tool or swab, she just went for it. Then, she just explained she was going to prescribe her medication, didnt allow questions to be asked nor explained what the medication was for and left the exam room. As a person who works in health care, I am mortified for my family member and that she had to experience this and especially because it was her first time receiving a cervical examination. If you work in health care, you are expected to carry a high amount of compassion and the ability to comfort patients when they are in a vulnerable state. I hope this review gets back to the doctor and that nobody ever has to experience something like this at this office again. If you work in health care, please practice bedside manners!

Matt This is BY FAR the worst health care organization I have ever dealt with. No one calls back EVER, there is 0 communication within the organization itself regards to coordinating treatment for patients. After YEARS of putting up with this nonsense I am DONE and would rather drive far and go somewhere else than deal with the incompetence. I visited this office, the Dr ordered an MRI urgent, because he was concerned about a finding. MRI was scheduled for 2 days from that date. When that date came, I go to my MRI and they wont do it because they did not have insurance approval. They told me to wait a few days and they would get approval and call me to reschedule. A week later they have not gotten the approval. I called my insurance company to find out what the issue was, and they explained that Crystal Run never responded back to any of their requests for the reason why the MRI was ordered to begin with. I call Crystal Run back and of course after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I get someone on the phone who has no clue and says theres nothing they can do except send a message to the Dr and wait for a call back. I wait 2 days, still no call back. Now I call back again and they tell me they will send another message to the Dr. Insane that sick people have to deal with this and no one cares. Theres no one to speak with EVER, and nobody knows anything. Its IMPOSSIBLE to ever get a hold of the correct person. LITERALLY INSANE. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Christopher Burgos Dr Tsai was fantastic, surgery went well. But when I needed a Dr note filled out for my job NYC Employee, Dr Tsai told me to give to his nurse and she would take care of me, the nurse told me to give to lady at front desk, front desk told me there is a unit secretary that does all the paperwork & it will take 5 to 10 business days to get done. What the hell??? Now what do I show my job. I cant get cleared for work until I show them my Dr says I am medically clear for work. Losing days of pay because none wants to do something that literally takes less than 2 minutes. Not to mention, I have been here plenty of times over the years to see different orthopedics and never have I experienced this. Also as a manager for over18 years, when paperwork goes through multiple hands there is a high percentage its gonna get screwed up. Dumbest system ever. Chrisitne Prechtel My personal experience at St. Luke’s was fantastic. From security and front desk, to registration, to the nurses and doctors and all staff in between, everyone was SO kind and caring. I had a semi-emergent surgery done there and everything went well. Took forever but being as I work in healthcare, I completely understand WHY. Plus, they explained everything to me.
Now, yes, I was charged a ridiculous copay (thanks insurance), and they told me I had to pay or I couldn’t do the procedure. HOWEVER, they are more than willing to a payment plan. You just have to give them something upfront. Anything you can afford. Being as this was last minute, I could only offer $50 of my $200 copay and they accepted, no issues at all.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the level of care this hospital gave me today. 5 starts all around.

Zhou Torres Frustrating Experience - Long Waits, excessive time to fill out forms, and a rude doctor
They dont care anymore. Bring back MCHC (former name/staff)
I usually dont write reviews but my experience with Cornerstone Family Healthcare has been consistently negative.
The wait times to get appointments are incredibly long, often leaving me waiting weeks to just been seen. Making it difficult to get the care I need quickly. The paperwork requests and physical fill outs process is absurdly excessive, requiring me to keep calling them to get updates or reminding them, wasting valuable time.
To make matters worse, Ive encountered several instances of a rude and dismissive by staff member, Dr. Yvette Figueroa, which has left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a patient. You get into medical school and get licensed to practice medicine because you want to take care of others. Not be rude. She needs lessons in care ethics and soft skills in customer service.
On the bright side, shoutout to the front desk staff, RN/NA staff, and lab staff. Nothing but extremely nice and professional. As well as shoutout to Dr. Jason Taniguchi. Hes been nothing but nice and professional. Dr. Yvette Figueroa needs to learn more from him and other staff.

When I say everyone had an attitude, I mean everyone; from the front desk to the clinical staff. I saw Victoria Gorelova, and she was in and out of my room in about 2 minutes. Wrote me three prescriptions and tried to send me on my way. She was extremely inpatient and treated my questions as an annoyance. Take the time to go somewhere else.

Premium Equities *Warning: Unprofessional Behavior by James Sturomski*
Im writing this review as a warning to others about my extremely disappointing experience with James Sturomski. As a property owner, I attempted to work with him to obtain the required septic approval from the Department of Health. Unfortunately, his incompetence and rude behavior led to tremendous damage and unnecessary headaches.
*Key Issues:*
- *Unprofessional Behavior:* His behavior was consistently rude and unprofessional, making it difficult to work with him.
- *Failure to Communicate:* He did not provide clear communication or updates on the projects status, leading to further frustration.
In addition the time frame on getting approval are extremely long hard to believe that we still have this kind of bureaucracy.
I strongly advise against working with James Sturomski. His behavior and actions demonstrate a clear lack of professionalism and competence. I hope that by sharing my experience, others can avoid similar situations and that the Department of Health will take steps to reform and provide better service to the public.

Firey Soul Jeanine is a nice person. Everyone else is very rude. Their policies and regulations are incredibly strict. Pretty much impossible to start a new small business while following all of the ridiculous rules. Seems like the policies were made based off of opinion and not factual research. How could an existing establishment be "grandfathered" in if the new rules were put in place because the old rules were hazardous to public health!? Makes zero sense. A bunch of bad things had to happen in order to justify such strict regulations. If said bad things did occur, then please explain how its OK for any existing establishment to be "grandfathered" in? Wouldnt people be getting sick? If theyre arent getting sick then why change all the rules? Why make them so strict? Where do we find the research that was done to conclude stricter regulations were necessary? Who wrote these policies and how do we speak to those people?

Linda Geiger I called OCHD in a panic because there was a problem with the COVID-19 Release link. Xiomara took my call and walked me through the whole form to make sure I had done it properly. She was polite, patient and very understanding. Her demeanor was kind and professional throughout the entire call. Thank you, Xiomara!

Nate Spence They closed a spring in our area and did not even test the water for safety. The water has been independently tested by myself and others and has never had a problem. This county does not care about its residents only $.

robert lambertson On a positive note this building was the orange county government building after being built in 1887. Part of Goshens historic district it exists at the head of "lawyers row", a row of revolutionary Era buildings typically rented by local lawyers for law offices

Tiffany The wait is outrageous. They say they take people according to severity but I saw a guy taken in with a black eye who came out 30 minutes later just so he can take up a bed that my husband with a possible appendicitis can wait. They go by how well your insurance is. The second shift RN, Jennifer B. Is rude and nasty.

Josh Calogero Brought my wife for surgrey at 5am. She has the surgrey from 730am to 815pm. Never got a call that she was put of surgrey even though i gave and hightlight my cellphone. I walked back from getting coffee they tell me i just missed the doctor and he left the building and nobody can tell me how the surgrey went or what was found and removed. Then i requested someone to give me answers and let me in recovery as it was a hour and a half since she got there and they still refused. Hospital is the worst their employees dont listen to what your asking nor care.

Stella W HORRIBLE ! Just horrible . I came in at 9:48 pm & i’m still sittting in this damn ER ( it’s currently 4:08am & I’m supposedly the next person to be called . I am literally bleeding out and these people told me that people were waiting there from 5pm & I would have to wait to be seen . I thought this was an emergency room , is it not be what is deemed more urgent . I felt so dizzy and light headed waiting I don’t even remember falling asleep , I literally bled through my pants that my whole leg was wet with blood . This place is the worst! If you’re dying , you will die in the waiting room waiting for a doctor to see you that’s how long they take .

Mary Bonner They changed hands and what is happening now is absolutely criminal. You cant get anyone in the phone. You cant get a medication refill. You cant get through to radiology. I have the best doctors there, but these cuts and changes are going to cost somebodys life. Staff blames the new computer system but you cant tell me there was zero training prior to the start of it. There are long lines to check in. The scanners are unplugged so why are we being bothered to preregister for an appointment. And forget about getting an appointment.... Everything is booked solid. Things sure have changed - for the absolute worst. This is the stereotypical takeover of a great medical center by a corporation looking to make a buck by cutting services, staff & care.

Nicole Walt The one star is for contacting your doctor only. Im post op and there should be no reason why I should have to wait well into 15 min for a rep to answer to leave a message and have to wait for a call back, you people need to come up with a direct number to reach our doctors much quicker when it does not call for having to go to the emergency room. This is NOT fair to any of your patients. Do better!!!!!

Angie Jennings Truly so sad to say this place has gone from a 5 star rating to a 1 star. I specifically have gone out of my way to leave my previous providers due to the awful management of Optum. I am sad to see Optum has now also taken over this brand as well. My doctors, nurses, and other on duty staff at Crystal Run have been better than anything I could’ve asked for professionally, and personally. Since the transition to the new system, I have quickly realized the same issues and occurrences that were problematic at the original providers I had left, has trickled into this selection of providers as well. Two of the most majors being getting in touch with anyone on the phone, and appointment scheduling. I am disappointed and will miss the amazing staff in office, but otherwise I will continue to avoid any type of care from Optum.

Jeff Quick Dr. Singh, the cardioligist, miss diagnosed my wife and myself. I had a heart problem, and his exact words were, I can tell you its not your heart. 1 year later, I was getting heart ablation surgery. My wife wasnt so lucky. She passed at the young age of 53. He told her, that all of her problems, were just "her normal".
I beg all of you to stear clear of Dr. SINGH. He is a terrible cardiologist, who let my wife Sandra die.

Kevin Mahoney Sr Not a reflection on the doctors, but the company has gone down the drain. Pre-registration required but then you stand in lines for over 20 minutes to then find out your appointment is over an hour delayed. Getting someone competent on the phone to call in a RX refill is impossible. All we hear is it’s the computer system. We can’t get access to My Chart “Optum” online. Call the support center and they don’t support or give you any help. The FAQ page has a 503 error code of not available. The board of directors should have to go thru the same process we do. Actually experience the BS that we have too. They wouldn’t stand for it. I have the best doctors there, but these cuts and changes are going to cost somebodys life because a computer will be the issue. People will quit giving care or people will not search out care because of how you treat us. The scanners are unplugged. It’s the absolute worst. Optum has ruined a great organization like Crystal Run was…yeah it had problems, but it’s not this dumpster fire!!!!

Ciara Brock I had a wonderful experience at this healthcare facility! The staff was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and communicative, making me feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish. Although I waited in the room for a little while, the staff and doctor made it worth it. The doctor was attentive, took the time to answer all my questions, and provided clear explanations that gave me confidence in the care I was receiving. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients’ well-being. I’m grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for compassionate, professional healthcare!

Kayla Salzman The staff is incredibly rude, this was my first time coming to this office and I was made to feel very uncomfortable. One of the nurses scoffed at me and slammed the door in my face, I also overheard her sharing details about me and my appointment. absolutely disgusting way to treat a patient. Will never be coming back. Doctor Rangadhama was very nice though. but if i could give this place 0 stars, I would.

L C Dr. Panda was very nice, thats about the obly nuce thing i can say. However everything else is just absolutely horrible. I was told I would hear back from the doctor in a few hours after a stat test, never happened. I got a call back days later soon realized It is Absolutely impossible to get in touch with anyone and basically played phone tag without being able to speak to the nurses. I had explained that I am unable to answer the phone at times bc Im at work (I am also a healthcare worker and I work in the ER and it tends to be busy). I would get a call, be unable to pick up and call back literally minutes later only to have to wait for a long period of time for an operator to answer just to be put on wait even longer as the operator tried to reach the nurses who of course never ever answer. I would just be told they call back. I later provided a very specific time to be called back as they requested and nothing. No one called. Its been 3 days now, going on 4 of me trying to speak to someone without success and tehrefore not being bale to get my results back. I am 100% finding a new doctor as far away as crystal run as possible. This place is a joke. Never have I ever been so frustrated in trying to do such a simple thing as getting in touch with a nurse to be able to get my results.

Steve Rubin No doubt there are some very nice people who work there and there are some nice doctors, but as an organization. It has fallen apart. Even their ability to respond to inquiries through customer service or complaints has essentially disappeared. It’s a very poor choice. Fails as compared with others.

P H I have never seen nor experience a more horrible emergency room. The nicest thing about this place is the exit sign.
I went in the morning and shouldve known after seeing an elderly lady cursing as she left that they didnt help her and that she needed to go to another ER.
The decor, the layout, the check in felt 3rd world. The floors were dirty the EKG room is dirty and cluttered like walking in someones dirty closet.
I saw people come in with trauma, bleeding, bones out of socket, horrific vomiting amongst and one man were made to sit in excruciating pain to wait for a room.
After waiting for 3 hours without being seen I left.
Im okay with having more critical patients seen ahead of me but I would never recommend anyone go there.
The older man and his wife sitting there with a dislocated shattered bone said it best with tears in his eyes, "You cant this place an EMERGENCY ROOM."
They need to close it down, restructure, hire and renovate.
Dont take anyone you love there.

Tamara Joan I went to the ER because of chest pain respiratory concerns. I arrived at approximately 9pm. They triage you right in the waiting area with no privacy while everyone is looking at you and listening to your issues. Then they bring you in a room to do an EKG just to have you sit back down and wait. I thought chest pain was considered a priority?! The girls at the desk in the waiting area were rude!! All they do is talk personal business, text on their phones, fix their hair/makeup and flirt with the security guards and did not care about who was in the waiting area with excruciating pain. The police officers sit in between the entrance doors making cold air come into the waiting area. So if you’re sick with a cold, you’ll end up leaving with pneumonia. They just have no regards for the sick. After about 3.5 hours waiting in the waiting area, a nurse(RN) comes around with the vital signs machine to do vitals. She did not disinfect the cuff/machine between patients. When they finally called me in the back at almost 2am, the girl leading me to my room was walking so fast in front of me as if she had no concern for the patients. I was doing a light jog just to keep up. Once I got to the room, the room was filthy and smelly!!! The sheet was visibly soiled, the garbage and soiled linen bins were full. There was wrappers on the floor and a used cup with a straw on the counter. When the tech came in to do my vitals, I told her that I did not want to be in that dirty room. She acknowledged that the room was filthy and offered to move me but said they had no more rooms. She then takes me to a nurse at the desk and the nurse was so rude and stated “I don’t have that room”. I told her that I’m a nurse too and we were taught that all patients is OUR patients. At that point I was in so much pain and frustrated. I told them I’m going to leave and follow up with my PCP. Another nurse then comes to me and apologized for the nasty room and said she had no time to clean the room because they have been busy and she tried to convince me to stay. I refused to stay and just wanted to get out of there FAST! I came to the ER sick with respiratory issues and chest pains and if I stay in that hospital a minute longer, I would get worse. I literally was listening to one doctor sitting at the nurses station having a personal conversation with the staff, instead of helping the sick patients. The waiting area was full and they had no regards. I just knew I was not safe in there at all. As I was leaving, another doctor comes up to me in the hallway, takes his dirty stethoscope off from around his neck without wiping it down with an alcohol wipe and said “let me at least check your lungs before you go”. At that point, I was over it and left. I just recently moved to Orange County and I will never go to this ER again!! I’m amazed that they have not been shut down. I should have read all the reviews before I went.

Lakisha Jacobs This hospital is awful for any human. Triage is front and center without any privacy of medical condition. The staff and doctors are slow and possess no compassion for patients at ALL.
My daughter had extreme pain, triage nurses were so insensitive they should work in a prison not a hospital.
Im unsure if anyone at this hospital cares about reviews but they need an entire new management.

Cant Touch Horrible phycward. Interns non caring, walking talking text books. My room had no curtin, detergent they use to wash the towls and your clothing causes rashes. Fights every five minutes we got sent to our rooms till taking care of till the next. Nothing to do during the weekend. The food sucks, once you get it it was cold. Some people didnt have shower curtains. Mattress are thin, uncomfortable, pillows suck. They dont care if you get fat as long you come out calm. I DONT RECOMMEND HERE..THEY LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH

Matthew Przybocki Waited over three hours on December 27 2024, the First Lady at the desk wrote down wrong and fake medical records. FYI I passed out and stopped breathing and hour before my wife rushed me to the hospital once I finally had strength to crawl in the car, when I told them about me going unconscious and unable to breathe my wife later went up to them and ask what they put down as my symptoms and the new lady at the desk just said dizziness, meaning while I had cpr performed on me by her brother just an hour before worst human on earth
