Francy This is the worse hair salon to go to if you love your hair.I just can’t believe they used a (made at home liquid ) in you hair with out you permission and then I ask them what was that and they got nervous. I’m also noticed that my hair gets a weir smell after only two days of washing my hair there and also my hair is falling out. They are using home treatment to making you to wash your hair twice in a week.they are disrespectful and nasty and also they put so much heat on the hair .is the worse.IF You Don’t Want Your Hair To Fall Out Don’t Go There.!!!

Grizelle Gonzalez Love Iris. I have been going to this salon for years and highly recommend her services. She puts care in doing your hair. The rest of the staff is great too. Her other hair stylist "flaca" does great work to. You wont be disappointed

M. L. I went once, recommended by a friend, and I’m definitely going back. La Flaca was great. She did exactly what I asked for!

Jayleen Cruz While my hair turned out nice, my experience at this salon was disappointing. I felt that clients who didn’t speak fluent Spanish or appear Hispanic were treated differently. As a light-skinned Puerto Rican, I noticed a difference in how the owner/stylist interacted with Spanish-speaking customers—she was much friendlier and more polite to them. She did not know I understood Spanish.
During my service, there was excessive pulling and rough handling while brushing my hair, along with snarky comments throughout the entire service. I was initially quoted $70 upon walking in and showing the length of my hair for a wash and set with a deep condition. (My hair is a little passed my butt and I am 5’4)
While doing my hair, another client walked in for the same service. The stylist gestured toward my hair, rolled her eyes, and asked the client if she was willing to wait. She then commented that if she did rolos on my hair, I would “never get out of here.” Instead of following the proper process for someone with curly hair—putting me under the dryer first to minimize heat damage—she chose a lazy shortcut and blew out my hair while it was soaking wet making the process in fact more work for her..
Midway through, the price suddenly changed, and she told me my hair would no longer be $70. At that point, I could not request to dismiss any further services as she already blew out most of my hair and I had a photoshoot at 4pm.
At the end, she made a rude comment in Spanish about my hair being “like ten heads in one,” which her coworkers laughed at. I paid $95—far more than I’ve ever paid for this service with the same length of hair. Not sure how the priced jumped so much from $70.
Despite the uncomfortable experience, I remained polite, thanked her, and paid, but she barely acknowledged me.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I had read similar complaints before coming here and had hoped for a better experience. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism and dismissive attitude made it clear I won’t be returning. A stylist should make all clients feel welcomed, not singled out or treated as an inconvenience and if there are certain services you would not like to provide due to hair length, you should not commit to it and midway change your price.

R Mosquera Ive known Iris for over 10 years from when she was at belleza. She has a gift when it comes to hair. She listens to exactly what you want, is honest about what you need and dont need. Love her keratin treatment- wash same day, smells so good, and lasts 10-12 months! Walk-ins are welcomed. Best of all, prices cant be beat! Seriously call and ask for color and youll see. All her employees are sweethearts and funny! Youll feel at home. Its not the fanciest places, its small but you wont even care once youre there.
