Amanda Coleman I had to switch primary care to a different provider since mine moved out if state and Mrs. Morgan the NP is just phenomenal. I feel so at-home and understood for my healthcare goals. I was worried that my new primary wouldnt be as open to my needs and she took the time to listen and evaluate me. I feel like she is a new breed of practitioners that is so needed in todays age of rushing patients and not fully listening. I couldnt be happier with who my care has been assigned to and I am comforted knowing how much she cares.

Jaimie Covert Honestly disgusted with this practice. If you wont return phone calls left for rescheduling purposes, dont send nasty letters threatening to kick us out of the practice as patients if we dont make the appointments were attempting to reschedule. The effort was made on my part to do my due diligence - how about you all do yours. The absolute audacity of this letter and its condescending, lecturing tone had my jaw dropped. I might leave the practice anyway. 0/10. Do *way* better.

Cynthia Tippins I have been a patient of this practice for 35+ years. With Dr. Barbarotto, Dr Jolie and then Dr Kasbekar. I was then assigned to Virginia Boudreau NP who is less than accomplished. During my September Medicare Well physical, she did not, other than the usual intake, do anything other than listened to heart and lungs, nothing else. We reviewed meds and allergies (extensive history) and discussed the script for Zofran which I take approximately 4-5 times per year, usually for medication reaction. When I asked for a renewal of the script….after weeks I am told it is “not for long term use”. Needless to say this is not consistent with other medical advice I have been given but it is consistent with the sloppy and uncaring way she practices. I have referrals for another PCP which I am pursuing. I am very disappointed to have to change primary at this point in my life. For what it is worth.

Heather Dickson This place used to be good, but every primary doctor I get established with suddenly up and leaves. A few years ago I came in with some serious concerns and needed a referral to cardiology, and the provider ms Wolf yelled at me and demanded to know what drugs I was on while I just cried, after my EKG was alarming…for a few minutes this went on. (Not on drugs, my whole family has heart problems. She only gave me he referral once I mentioned that) The experience was deeply traumatizing and effects my expectation of every new doctor im forced to see. I think I’ve had 4 primary doctors in 3 years. The new doctor they set me up with is great but something is very wrong with the way they run things, and I’m sure the doctors all probably leave for a good reason.

Elena Tarnowski I went here as it was highly recommended by several friends. It was terrible. The office was dirty & run down. The doctor I saw walked in and told me she was resigning from the practice and if I wanted to continue the appt we could otherwise I could just reschedule for another time. Not sure why I was scheduled as a new patient with a provider that was leaving. Weeks later they also called in 2 scripts to my pharmacy for no reason. Antibiotics for the WRONG patient. I won’t be returning.

R Matthews After multiple attempts to get someone on the phone, I decided to go to the office to make an appointment. While at the office I was told they couldn’t help me schedule an appointment and that all appointments are scheduled through the nurse’s triage department. The lady at the desk said to call the number. The same number I’ve been calling for hours without getting an answer. Whoever is in charge of running this place is clearly not competent enough. I left without my daughter being seen or getting an appointment. Nice to know our taxes are being put into service that aren’t working for us.

Michael Rogers I would give zero stars if I could. I was a patient of the Dr here for 20 years, but I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. They have replaced their office management and staff with incompetents, the nursing staff is no better. The office manager decided to treat me like a criminal and make accusations instead of verifying my insurance. I was asked to leave and she told the providers that I threw a pen at the receptionist, who I wasnt even talking to. She got me discharged from the practice, which she was quite proud to tell me. They also lost all my immunization records which I very much needed.... atrocious way to run a medical practice. Disgusting

John Quigley My familys had it here. Ive been coming to Dr. S SINCE 1999. Since 2007, my whole familys been coming here. To be clear, the practicioners are amazing. The front office staff is overall the worst in the history of medical care. Anyone whos visited the office knows exactly the ones Im talking about. These staff people have kept us from seeing our doctors and asked triage questions that a receptionist should not ask. The offending staff seem to think its their personal fifedom, and they can control peoples medical care. History of inappropriate, unprofessional rude signage, conversations, and comments. Today, my 11 year old is sick, the whole family is sick, but our boy has swollen nodes and had to see the Doc. We were given an app. By one of the professional staff for 145pm My wife (who is sick too) drove my son, was on time, and becuse she waited so long in line to check in, had the appt. Canceled and moved up. My son did see the doctor, and again the care he received was excellent. Its just thay every single time we go or call the doctor, there seems to be some unnecessary and unacceptable barrier to care. The people who visit this office are either sick or have medical concerns. They shouldnt have to be subject to this kind of treatment. If the offending staff doesnt like their job or feel they cant handle it, they should leave instead of having a negative impact on peoples medical care. Furthermore, the office should step in and make the change as there are multiple complaints regarding the same people and the same subject. You look at reviews, and you take them with a grain of salt. People are sick, theyre in a bad mood etc. But common sense tells you theres obviously a problem.

Teri Jones Called trying to make an with a new patient appt. The rep said they are booking into late April, early May which was fine, but I had to push her to even look at an appointment for me. Then she proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions about when I was last seen and sounded extremely judgmental because I wasn’t sure but I knew it had been several years. The rep was rude and extremely short needless to say I will be trying another provider. As I believe good quality care starts at the door and based on other reviews this isn’t a first with this practice. I need to feel comfortable going to or calling my doctor’s office.

Chuck Burns I have been seeing my MD at this practice for more than 20 years. Sadly, some of the staff are horrible and my recent experience left me with no other option to go elsewhere. Had a scheduled fasting blood draw - received several reminders - showed up on time, checked in and paid my copay. Spent 2 hours in the waiting room listening to the food network while starving (I complained about this before) and they forgot about me. Wasted hours of precious sick time while starving with the food network blasting at me. Appointment never happened. Never again.

kerra burns I really like my doctor here. That’s why I keep coming back. That said the office needs work. As soon as you walk up to the door there are signs that you need to wear a mask and if you don’t have one they will not provide you one, you have to reschedule. This is such a poor message to send to your patients. I understand that we have to wear a mask. I understand that people should be responsible enough to remember one, but denying someone a medical appointment because they forgot a 10 cent mask is an awful way to care for your patients. How hard is it to put a box of masks out if someone forgets instead of turning them away? I go into the waiting room and an older couple come in and the husband is in a wheelchair and obviously needs assistance. They wouldn’t let his wife stay with him to assist because she didn’t have an appointment. I understand they don’t want extra people in the office, but you really can’t make an exception for this situation? I have no complaints about the medical staff, my care has been good and the doctors are responsive. The front office could use a little more customer care.

Nicolos Singh I had a fantastic experience at my visit this evening. The receptionist (Gabrielle) was welcoming, the nurse (Joy) was kind and professional, and Dr. Danielle was thorough, attentive, and genuinely caring. The whole team made me feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for quality care and a smooth experience. Plus, free secure parking is available, which makes the visit even more convenient.

Daneshia Flowers I absolutely hate calling family medicine office whoever they hired to answer the phones needs to be fired immediately. They all have attitudes when they answer the phones they do not greet you properly. They have you on hold for at least 30 to 40 mins thank god it isn’t an emergency because this place simply doesn’t care. If you don’t like your job don’t work there and don’t take it out on the patients. They don’t apologize for even having you on hold for most of the day. I hate being a patient here. They all hate there jobs and it shows. What happened to good customer service. If they keep this up this place won’t last. Go somewhere else if you can.

Benny Cross I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review anywhere before, but the absolute disregard for patients by both Dr. Brigid Mack and the staff is appalling. Staff is often rude on the phone, if they even answer your call. If they do, it will probably be after 20 minutes or so. Dr. Mack will not read your messages on the Community Care app. She lies when she says she will keep in touch. After a concerning diagnosis, she wouldn’t answer my messages and I had to wait weeks for an appointment, just for her to refer me to someone else, which is what I asked her to do in the first place. She prescribed me testosterone, which was great, but she never showed me how to safely do an intramuscular injection. Also, I have to remind her to refill my medication and I had to ask her to test my testosterone levels, which is something she should be doing for me every three months.

Stephanie Smith I absolutely loved my Dr. He is always very down to earth and listens to all and every problem my family is having. He had moved to this office when the office he was working with closed down.. so my family followed him. However since the switch I have only been able to see Dr dworski once! I also do not like the fact that I wait for someone to answer the phone for 15 or more minutes just for someone to click on amd hangup very disappointed in the phone systems here and not being able to see my regular Dr. Due to this inconvenience I have faced I am looking for new providers for my family. Its a shame that during times of need I have had to live at urgent care this past week and a half to get my kids the health care they need, as well as myself. I have heard many complain about not being able to schedule. I have been told to use the site for messages with my Dr and to make and schedule appointments but things are just not what I thought they would be.

J. Es Worst experience ever! DO NOT GO HERE!!! 1st off, I am a very easy going person. I try not to let much bother me. This place was the worst, from the reception desk, to the Doctor and then the follow up. I will skip the reception issue and jump right to Doctor. As soon as he came in, he asked me to sit up and then handed me a tissue. I asked what the tissue was for, he said so if this nasty stuff gets on your face you can wipe it off. Never even told me hed be spraying anything or what it was for. He spray my nostrils and says hell be back. Comes back and says sit up..take a long skinny 2 foot tube and sticks in in my nose down my throat. Never let me know what he was going to do! It hurt. I asked if the spray was to numb it.. he says to open your sinuses. Very loud spoken and almost rude. Tells me I definitely have a mass in my neck and need a scan. Doesnt really know what it is. I go to reception desk to set up appointment for scan. They say we have to call you once we submit to your insurance. 5 days later, I hear nothing. I call to find out the person who handles is on vacation for another week. So here I am, a mass in my neck that could serious..and I am just waiting to hear back from someone. I ask to file a complaint, they say the manager will call me back. I ask who is head of this practice, she says she doesnt know. Several hours pass and I still have not heard back. The sad part is I pay for insurance. If I had Medicaid and was on welfare I would be taken care of by now. Stay away!!!!!

Rimi Ferdous One of the horrible doctor is Michael DeVito, MD. My family doctor referred to him. It was 2 minutes visit and didn’t give a chance to speak to me about my issues. Checks my ear and told me your ear good and give a look to me why you are here. I was speechless and afraid to speak to him. You really scared me Dr.

S P If youre seeing Dr. Michelle Yoon, MD, Cancel your appointment and RUN!! Dr. Michelle Yoon, MD has since fled to NY and is thankfully no longer in Nashua, NH. In summary my surgery was performed incorrectly and had to be done by a different doctor after. She prescribed a medication i told her i was allergic to because" I havent had it in a while so well see how i do", had bad allergic reaction. Had post surgery infection. On another patients ear incision she said let me know if u can feel this as she used her scalpel, they said they did and it hurt a lot...she continued anyway. worst doctor i have ever experienced and am now terrified of any ENT appointments.

D G Awful service. They have become so lazy that they require you to check in before you show up. They use a portal different from everyone else (cant just use.mychart huh). Pediatric care is terrible. I can never get scripts in a timely fashion. They are ONLY about getting you to come in, everyone else does not require a sick call for every little thing. They are always rude on the phone and refuse to help. Find a different location, they are terrible

Martha Chromik I would like to thank Dr. Nita Parikh, Missy and the prior approval department for their help in getting my prescription approved quickly. This was urgent for me as I only had 5 pills left. When I went to have my prescription refilled, the insurance co. denied it because of no prior approval on file. They absolutely had a prior approval on file. Thanks to Dr. Parikh, Missy and the other staff involved, I was able to get my script filled. This took unnecessary time out of their extremely demanding schedule and yet they did take the time. Due to my familys history of Barretts Esophagus, it was important that I not miss taking this medication. Thank you Dr. Parikh and everyone. I truly appreciate everything you did.

Anonymous The ongoing racism and bias towards my child and I have been awful. It’s unfortunate. Their receptionist and phone lines could also use some improvement, nobody ever picks up or calls back. I’ve talked to Jenna (receptionist) a few times and she always has a nasty attitude. I wish I could give this place a zero. Their service has been awful. My child has been seeing a different provider and we always have to ask for someone else so they do not schedule us with Sarah Aluck, one of the NP’s. No child or parent should have to experience or endure racism and bias. Sarah did not care about my child and or her health. She would always brush me off whenever I had questions. I also heard her and the MA’s talking about me and my child. I wish I could say good things about this place. No parent should have to worry about whether their child is going to get the right care that they need because of their race. It’s been an uncomfortable experience for my child and I and it has not gotten better.

Tracy Whitney Phone system is the absolute worst and I have been in the medical industry for over 30 years. When you get there to check in no one at the desk even looks at you, although they have time to eat and drink and laugh with each other. You cant EVER get ahold of anyone the phone and when you do you get transferred and the put on hold forever. Tried to transfer Doctors to Dr. Fitz as he was previously my bfs pcp from another practice for 18 years and was told No, didnt offer to send a message to the Doctor to ask...VERY poorly run front office and phone staff in my opinion which is disappointing because Dr. Fitz is great. If you want a good Doctor go there, if you want efficient and friendly front office staff, dont.

Ripped2Shreds Well I spent at least three years in CDCP and some of the time was hard. The food isnt terrible, of course know one is going to like everything. The place is loaded mice and Ive seen them on my bed. The staff does have some people that are hard to deal with but on the other hand they are made to work crazy hours or get fired. One thing about the place is that they have some very scary people that can attack at any time. Update, its been 3 years since I left the hospital and now I look back cdpc did me no good I have terrible memories and nightmares about the place.

Andy Crowley We were a little unsure when we pulled up but the pop up event was was actually very real and scary. We had never done one of these themed escape rooms before and neither had any of our group but it was awesome! Doing it in a real operating psych hospital was interesting. One of the actual patients stepped in and helped us get out of room 5. We thought she was an actor until one of the workers came and removed her. I didnt like that they only took cash because on the website it said they took apple pay. I signed up for their newsletter because I cant wait to do another one of these Midnight Loony Bin Escape Rooms next time I come to Albany!

Wendy Scott I have a loved one staying there and the staff has been wonderful and always answering questions for any issues I have to ask . Keeping me informed of his medical needs . Parking is in a I think 9 story parking garage and level 7 and higher are for visitors . I was able to drop off clothing , toiletries and money order for his snacks at the front . My only complaint was when I asked the security guard for restroom he pointed to a door which was the exit of the facility which was not nice all he had to say is no restroom I am editing this review . After my loved one left the facility he told me a lot of things that alarmed myself about this place . 1st of all it’s not a vacation being there but worse then jail and this recent review is coming from someone that was a patient . In the morning when you leave your room , the room will be locked the whole day so as a patient you will have to stay in dayroom for whole day . 2nd . If you have to use restroom you need to find a staff member cause always locked now I understand for safety but staffing is bad as well the staff members are scarce and not very nice I was told . My loved one got a blood clot and was asking for a nurse to help him with the pain he was feeling and thank god she finally listened they rushed him to Albany med in time to save his life . Very scary and he said they don’t give you any water throughout the day . Because my loved one has serious pysch problems I am worried he going back inside and for longer and I will be contacting his councilor daily make sure his needs are met

Keith Lappin Worse than a prison. My girlfriend came here voluntary, and was treated like a prisoner. The staff constantly lied about when she would be evaluated. They would say a few minutes and tell her to be patient, then hours go by with no information. At least prisoners are told the truth when they ask for an appeal. After a while, all she wanted was to go home. They then refused to give her a second evaluation and hospitalized her against her will. Also, there were mice everywhere at night. The staff even joked about teaching them tricks when my girlfriend complained about them. Make sure you are serious about wanting to commit suicide when you call 911. Because if you arent, you will want to after your stay here.

Ive had debat the woman about my pain levels and constantly tell her to check my charts because I have no opiate abuse found. I simply needed meds for my back due to my spine sitting on my pelvis. She gave me hell today because I didnt know she would as me the same questions as the previous one I seen. She stared at me with blank stare and told me I was being defensive. I told her I apologize if she felt that way but I was telling her I didnt understand what she meant when speaking about other providers being that st peters is the main if not only place Ive gone for years. Out of retaliation, she proceeded to give me a prescription for Tylenol. Ive gone as far to show her my x-rays and she still has an attitude. Mostly everyone is super kind there but her.

Sheila Carpenter As a social worker advocating for a young man needing services from OPWDD I have had incredible assistance from Linda Herron, RN. This lady has been absolutely outstanding. In an attempt to advocate for this young man, 30 years of age with a dx of ADHD and autism, there are different challenges due to this . Understanding that she does not create the process, but she does have to make it work. They are incredibly lucky to have her on staff… And so are we. We all know that the school system fell short when they did not do an appropriate referral for Ethan upon graduation . So we are already behind the eight ball.. Her communication is consistent, Her explanation of needed documents that are unusual to this case is concise, her review of documents is timely. With all that, she is always polite and courteous, always available, always Returns calls, is pleasant and easy to deal with… Even when there are legitimate gripes like my computer system not working on my end and printing not coming out properly on her end because how my Apple system talks poorly to her computer system…. Never ever does she express a moment of agitation or aggravation. As a social work supervisor retired from New York State office of people with developmental disabilities after 33 years, this is the lady that everyone wants on their team. The New York State Department of Health is very lucky to have her… and so are we, the public. Many thanks, Linda. You do both the Department of Health as well as all Nurses, very proud.! Dani DeGregory My mother was transferred here after visiting the Saratoga ER a week after having major vascular surgery feeling lightheaded/dizzy, had shortness of breath, couldn’t keep food down, dehydrated. Waited in a bed in the ER hallway for 24 hours and was only spoken to 3 times the entire time. No tests were run. No IV. Only got one glass of water. Was told she was getting a room shortly after arriving, but never got put into one. Kept pressing the call button to try to start the discharge process and was repeatedly ignored. Could not be more disappointed with the care she received.

After I was evaluated by a doctor in the hallway I was sent home after 14 long hours. Every time I asked for help or for water I felt like the night crew was looking past me and ignoring me. It was a nightmare. I went to Albany Memorial and had a much better experience.

Mary Ann Riccardo Waiting to be seen ,5 &1/2 hrs now. Friend went to Ellis urgent care. Dr advised him to go to Alb Med ER because he needs stitches .Dr called & a surgeon, Dr Roseti (?) will do stitches on upper lip. Reminded receptionist hes here for stitches ,suppose to be a transfer from urgent care. She sez we re busy, I asked why everyone that came in after us has already been called. Not helpful at all. His lip is bleeding again . Universal Health care couldnt be worse than this. I dont recommend coming here , especially if its an emergency to

Matt B The only reason Im giving 1 star is I waited 8 hours to be seen. I ended up needing surgery. Once in the hospital I was treated well. But I sat in the waiting room for 8 hours in a whole lot of pain. I also had no medicine for another serious condition I have all the time I sat there. Which was on my records. The triage nurse was an idiot. The nurses say theyre understaffed. I think the real problem is they dont know what theyre doing. If you have a non serious matter and dont need an ambulance I highly suggest you go to urgent care instead or a less busy emergency room.
