Freedom Park - Buffalo (NY)

Located next to the Peace Bridge, approachable by road from I190, is this beautiful park on the Unity island. It can be your perfect Spot to capture the Niagara river or the Peace Bridge. Or just enjoy your Fishing hobby in company of other fishing enthusiasts. Or else soak in the historic significance of the "Underground Railway" movement of freedom seeking slaves of the 19th Century, as this was the jetty for the Black Rock ferry.

5 /5 Susan Bejger: Located at the foot of Ferry, active space with fishing, walking, families picnicking and bbq’ing. Nice wildlife on the water. There is work being done so the trail or boardwalk is detoured but it’s reasonable. Great place for a nice quiet walk and fresh air .

5 /5 Kaelynn Maatz: Walked on the pier until we got to the Peace Bridge. Free parking and port a pots! We enjoyed watching boats go by. Lots of ducks out also. Was not very crowded on Sunday afternoon
