I recently found myself in a tough spot—while I was in Western NY for a funeral, Hurricane Helene hit my hometown of Asheville, leaving debris everywhere. I knew I needed new tires for the trip home since so many people were damaging theirs on the rough roads. On the recommendation of friends who had gone to Murphy’s for years, I stopped in, and I’m so grateful that I did.
Not only did the team at Murphy’s give me great advice on choosing durable tires, but they also recommended an oil change to ensure I was ready for the long drive. When I came back to pick up the car, I was blown away to find that they had filled it with food, water, medicine, and toiletries for me to take back to my neighbors impacted by the storm. To top it all off, they—along with Canandaigua Bank—covered the cost of the new tires and oil change.
Their generosity and thoughtfulness were overwhelming, and they truly went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a tire shop that values its customers and treats them like family, Murphy’s Tire Shop is the place to go. Their kindness meant the world to me and my community in Western NC.
