Don Phipps Aways a good experience for my DOT drug test and physicals. Veronica in the lab department is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. If there busy you can have a long wait but otherwise they get you in ASAP. Ive been sent here numerous times and Ive always had a positive experience.

Kristy Morgan I went to facility to get certified for a respirator fitting test .Our company has taken efforts to ensure that we are safe to use respirators. The Facilitators presumed to add DOT physicals to a simple respirator fitting test. Costing unnecessary dollars + Time from job to assume unnecessary billing for their services. I was also informed that other people from my team were not required to do this and they specifically requested from myself because they asked me if I take a medication and the answer is yes they did not ask what kind of medication but they got my entire medical history gave me a physical …. it cost me2 1/2 hours and about $700 in production that day. (Not sure what they’re charging the company that I worked for) And to be honest of all the people that work there that I dealt with the person who gave me my fit test was the only one who was kind considerate and humble. The rest of the staff from the ladies that sit at the desk all the way up to the doctor that did the physical. We’re unfriendly a bit rude and pushy to be entirely truthful. With limited sources out here in the Premier basin. I still want to recommend try to find someone else. These folks don’t even comprehend they worked for us. We don’t work for them.

Tara J This is a visit that my spouse had: if I can leave negative stars, I would. He has never had so much hassle, getting a DOT physical and drug test. They got too deep into all of his medical conditions and wasnt going to give him the DOT clearance and then she wanted him to come in and check his A1C every three months for it. He has never ever had to do that at any other facility for any other job ever. Ann Trevino was the most rude and coldest person Ive heard of in the medical field. I have been in the medical field for 35 years, I know how you should carry yourself. My husband got off the table after the exam, and the table tipped a little bit, which can happen very easily and Trevino told him, " If you fall, I will start laughing at you and call 911, beause im sure not picking you up." Why would anyone make a comment like that, let alone a NP. That is totally uncalled for and totally unprofessional and very rude! Once everything was done, she said she had to clear everything through her M.D, and low and behold, he doesnt have to do the A1C every 3 months and his physical is good for 1 year as he has always had from other facilities. Whats crazy about this kind of conduct is that she/they think they can get away with it, but this day in age, you will be reported and she should have known better. I will be reporting her to the medical board. No wonder she works where she does and has only been an NP (ADVANCED NP, PLEASE?) for 4 years and is acting like that, this absolutely absurd and should be fired!

Aaron Thomas Hope you plan on having a heart attack between 7am and 7pm.. otherwise you’ll get to wait until then to be seen by the cardiologist. This place is an absolute joke. Dad had a heart attack last year so we know what this process is like… this hospital doesn’t. No wonder this was the only place within the midland/ Odessa area with open beds. Not even sure they have ever dealt with anything heart related. Was there for HOURS before we even got an EKG. You’d be more safe if you just go ahead and drive to Lubbock.

Celeen Carrasco The doctors here are very unprofessional , and act very immature My sisters baby had an accident and got injured and there were four doctors that were bullying and laughing at her. That is not how they should be treating their patients. it is very embarrassing for four grown adults to be acting like that especially to the mother, who was vulnerable and devastated about the situation.

Linda Hernandez We have been in the ER since 1:00 pm, it is 6:03 pm and nothing. We brought our daughter in because she is 10 weeks pregnant and is having some issues. We were called back at 2:51 pm they took urine samples and drew blood. An ultrasound was ordered but nobody has any idea how long it is going to take because they are on call. The nurse only popped his head in for seconds to collect the sample and hasn’t been seen since. 6:08 we were told they called the person in to complete the ultrasound. Where is she coming from? This is a sad place with no urgency. I thought it was an emergency room? Worst hospital!

John Baker I don’t even know where to begin with this review, from the start to mid-finish our experience with the Odessa Regional Medical maternity services has been nothing short of a horrendous experience. From very poor interactions with security staff to us feeling like our newborn child is a un-necessary cash cow, to medication that was over-dosed to mother, to the absolute contradictions of statements made interdepartmentally, to the emotionally draining experiences with some of the medical staff, we knew this experience was not going well when we felt like we had to start documenting our experience and individual interactions. We spoke to multiple medical professionals that told us to be weary of here and we ultimately decided to not follow their advice, that was a decision that we regret. Depending on the follow through with the completion of this experience we are weighing our decisions on contacting the HHS and the TMB.

Luke Brothers My visit to the ER was more than satisfactory. Everyone that took care of me did great including radiology, lab, and all of the nursing staff. My nurse Cari made sure I was taken care of the entire duration up to my admission and the provider Bryan got everything done quickly and efficiently and was very proactive in addressing my concerns. I am very pleased with my visit to this ER.

Vicki Hinojos I was very pleased with the care I received through the ER. Dr. & nurses were very prompt, considerate, and explained everything I needed to know. Smaller hospitals in my opinion are just as good as the bigger ones- and honestly are able to spend more time with patient care.

Darla Frazier Pettigrew Normally, I really like this hospital I’ve had some complications lately in my life that I needed to come in and to be taken care of, however, on the day of Thanksgiving, I needed help and it’s not that I didn’t receive help with the bedside manner really wasn’t there. I had to help myself get on the CT table. The young woman that was said to me was very pregnant, which I understand but to send someone in that is dizzy and having problems and expecting a pregnant woman to put your stuff at risk that way really made me question. Also the doctor. Although I believe he did the best that he could when you have in a struggle for words and you’re not sure how to put things into the proper garbage so they understand you and your family that is trying to help you as to be quiet so you can speak to them, and you don’t have the words to speak to them. The best side men are there and the abruptness of this doctor Was really uncalled for the nurse that did my IV was decent that did the IV but it was very apparent in my opinion that nobody wanted to be there on that holiday and that sometimes those feelings get passed down to the patient.

Ceci Primera My first time in ER. I was left in the dark on how things go there. I was given a cup for urine sample. Left it on tray in the room I was in. Nurse didnt notice it being there. She went to get the shot I was getting. Gave me the shot. She didnt ask me for the name of the pharmacy I needed my prescriptions to be faxed or called in so I told her & said to her "so the Rx can be called in". The nurse did not say anything about "I would get written prescriptions". I asked is that it? She said yes. I noticed she didnt pick up the specimen. I left because she didnt inform that the Dr. would be back. I waited a few minutes. No one came so I left. I had to come back to pickup my prescriptions. I was so sick it took me two days before I could barely drive myself, as I live in Monahans. There is not much communication with staff & patients. Thanks to the Dr that said she didnt see me as an emergency to be referred to a Dermatologist right away, well I want you all to know, it is an autoimmune condition that I have now & I could have been treated sooner! She said (the ER Dr @ ORH) my skin had to be literally falling off to consider it an emergency, well it was falling off & bleeding. My Dermatologist was very upset at not being referred

Eve Like duh The doctor my son has is amazing I love her. She is in pediatrics. No one EVER answers and if they do it is after youre on hold for about half an hour. The podiatrist never even showed up to the room I was waiting for over an hour in the room before I finally left after being in their office of total 4 hours. I always regret having to call to set up an appointments. Its better if you go in person.

Sefika Sakinan20 The front office and the doctors are very good but it is really hard to reach you by phone and get appointment even if you get an appointment they give it 2 months later as it will be too late for my children.
1 /5
Karime Alvarez Can never get a hold of the front desk. They have you on hold for about half an hour even longer before they answer. Appointments are very limited. Wait time is ridiculous. We’ve had to wait in the waiting room for 1-2 hours before being seen every single time. Also they don’t stick to one doctor even if you specifically tell them you want a certain doctor. I was told only sick visits will be with whoever is available but even scheduled visits are.

Mrs V Although the service was decent, my MRI results were read wrong. Radiologist stated that there were no findings, when in fact I had a cyst as large as my sinus cavity that was causing my dizziness / falling, headaches, facial pain, constant congestion, and more complications with my sleep apnea. I dealt with these symptoms for over a year, even after numerous complaints that the MRI clearly showed something there. It wasnt until an ENT decided to look at the slides after my face clearly showed discontent with his response to my "ghoslty symptoms" that he saw what my neurologist had seen, deciding I had to go into surgery pretty quickly. They also failed to report that I had paid off my debt (which should have been dismissed for having incorrectly misdiagnosed me) to the creditor and have had this on my credit report for longer than it should be. I wont return again if I need radiology done of any kind.

Rhonda Garcia I was there at the obgyn yesterday and I was treated so rudely by the nurse. Being sick and having the fear that you could have cancer and going to the doctor and the nurse treat you like dirt makes you feel hopeless and even more alone. I do have personal issues, but I think if you decide to go into the medical field, you should at least have a little empathy for the patients. God says, It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust man. The nurse proves that.

Ramsha Javed I have been going to First Physicians since 2014 and I often see Brea, when she isnt available I see Dr. Willingham. And I absolutely love the both of them. They are very down to earth, they have very nice nurses. They make sure to listen to your problems and assess each and every single one of them no matter how long it takes. Sometimes I get in very quickly sometime even I wait hours. But in the end it is all worth it with the kindness and hospitality they show their patients. And after I started seeing them, my entire family started going to them as well. Its been years and even they love the entire staff at First Physicians! Thank you.

Randall Clark You will never be able to count on these people. You are nothing but cattle to them. This comes from a couple who have had Dr Shelton as their personal physician for more than 15 yrs. As long as you dont really need anything then your fine. The minute you actually need services they are unavailable and unwilling to work on solutions. They wont even return your phone calls. Youd be better off seeing your veterinarian Update: Well I called, phone was forwarded to some mobile phone somewhere and couldnt even leave a message....Oh please call us and lets discuss your issues...HAHAHA Update#2: Finally spoke to the office... NOTHING CHANGED. You either do it their way or the highway. No solutions offered. They acted like they were doing me a favor by returning my calls. My fiance is a bed ridden stroke patient who cannot make an office visit. The Dr will not make a house call, or accept a visiting Dr service or telehealth and is withholding her medications. Had they simply said we cant help you and offered to make the transition to a new Dr, I would have been happy. Their arrogance and lack of compassion is appalling. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK....wouldnt surprise me if they try and make this review disappear.

Felicia Burdorf I went to the clinic on East University, I had called previously and was told they closed at 6pm. I went to the clinic and arrived at 5:33pm, I go to sign in and the lights are off and was told they stopped seeing patients at 5:30pm. That’s absolutely ridiculous, you tell people you close at 6pm but someone gets there at 5:33 to sign in and you tell them sorry I can’t see you. It’s false advertising and the guy who I assume is the lab tech, the guy with the blue glasses and long black hair is extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked for his name to file a complaint and he said ok bye turned around and refused to give me his name. I told them explicitly that I will inform Dr.Sheldon’s office about this encounter.

YT Girl I had the worst doctors appointment of my life at Wendover this morning! The first time I was ever at this practice was last week. I got there at 8am, got placed in a room by 8.15, then the wait began! I had to wait till 9.10 for unprofessional Bailey Ford (physician or nurse) to show up. the first thing she asked me when she entered the room was "you have a problem"? I accepted the bait to come in today for a Pap. I got checked in at 8.45am for a 9am appointment and by 9.20am I had not even been called to the back for a triage. When I asked the front desk lady, the other lady jumped in and started explaining to me how Bailey shares room with other doctors and shell have to wait for them to be done. If you have nothing to do and you feel like sitting all morning in the lobby of an old looking clinic, then this is the best place for you.

Sergio Can somehow never get them on the phone. Service is good when we go tho. Still unacceptable that we can’t call for an appointment change or questions that we may have. Edit: we changed doctors because it was near impossible getting them on the phone and we could somehow never get our doctor in the appointment

James Hutchinson I thought this place was good to begin with, but trying to make an appointment is a pain. Not only is it a pain, but who knows when they are going to be sick, so they schedule their appointment beforehand? Walk-ins are for sick babies and kids only. Ill be looking for a different doctor.

Christy Scott Had an appointment with MD Michelle Romero. The worst doctor ever. None of my issues were addressed or tended too. She told me once I could afford my blood work and X-ray that she would see me in 3 months. And didnt even tend to my other issues. Sent me on my way. I felt defeated once I left there. I will not return. She was horrible.

Owl Princess This place was amazing experience! I had really bad cold like symptoms, and needed a very fast care, so I went to MCH walk in. There was a family medicine doctor named Milo, and he was very friendly and assessed my symptoms right away. I told him I took two Covid-19 test and came back negative. He gave me two tests one for flu and other for strep. The wait wasn’t very long to figure out I had tested positive for strep. Right away they prescribed me antibiotics, and I was feeling better next day.

Crystal Lee So after calling earlier in the day to ensure I could be seen I was told by the receptionist that as long as I called and got there by 620that I would be okay and I called as soon as I was in the parking lot at 610 and was told this second time they werent taking anymore people. UTPB students only get break at one or two places and this places claims to close at 7pm but really closes at pm. The doctor did not want to give his name or anything and the reseptionist never asked him. When I asked for the number or email to call for a complaint she did not know any and did not want to ask the doctor either. Very unfortunate they even denied this family right behind me and the mom even questioned that do they not close at 7? And the receptionist said they close at 7 but do not take anymore people after 6

Leonora0 Munoz Said they would see you if you where there by 6 so everyone can be out by 630. Even though the hours posted on the internet and at location say they close at 7. Asked again what time do they close she stated "were fixing to now." I question at 615 yes replied "yes". Undate your hours or education your staff. I am sure this clinic is here for convenience how convenient are you when your closing an hour to 45 minutes before the time posted

Starla Wright BEWARE! This doctor will speak kindly and softly to you and make you feel like he is taking care of you or your loved one, while the bill is racking up in the hospital, however the compassion ends there. In the even that something goes wrong or your loved one passes away he will drag his feet to complete the required by law duties of being a physician. My mother has been laying in a freezer for 2 weeks because Dr. Dar refuses to sign a death certificate that by law he only has 5 days to sign. When you call his office to check on things they cant tell you anything except the MD isnt there nor is the office manager (really not sure if the office manager has anything to do with an electronic signature on paperwork). This is after this MD was contacted daily by the funeral home for the past 10 days. While I understand things happen and physicians get busy, I feel this MD believes he is above the law and Im certain does not care that I have reported the negligence to the medical board because a $500 fine probably isnt much to a physician. I just want others to be aware that if this is you or your loved ones MD that you can expect the follow through after care has transitioned to death to be less than poor.

R L They weigh you, take you to the room, girl comes in, asks you questions, checks your blood pressure, checks oxygen levels....asks about prescriptions. Then takes off and maybe an hour later you’ll see dr dar for like 3 minutes. Then you go pay, then you leave. Takes forever, so plan for at least 2 full hours here for a 3 minute conversation with the actual dr.

Julia Don’t bother, they don’t give you test results, they don’t schedule follow ups. I had to get my diagnosis from some random receptionist where I had my tests done. They don’t call at all, about what’s going on with you. They have no empathy. They schedule appointments and call you less than an hour before and tell you if you don’t show up in 20 mins we won’t see you, even though they scheduled the appointment. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Absolutely useless doctors, don’t waste your time or money. Last time I was actually seen there, I listened to the doctor research car insurance. This hospital doctors and nurses saved my life. I had gone to other hospitals and no one could figure out my diagnosis until I came here. The nurses were kind and answered all my families questions. I was given 5 star treatment throughout my lengthy stay. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

Sherrie Santana My sister is currently in the hospital. Gosh there’s so much improvement needed she is currently on the 6th floor & has cancer. Most of the nursing staff are rude as well as lazy & can be heard from the nurses station cursing about patients they don’t allow access to the condiment station & example 1 previously asked for assistance with a coffee around 6am the nurse had responded to my sister’s husband it should be coming on the tray in a little while. Example 2 He has not been offered a guest tray example ( he has been with her for 7 days now) 3 the guest recliner is broke on the arm rest & recliner position is broken therefore my brother-n-law has to sleep sitting up. He asked for another recliner at the nurses station & the nurse said she try to locate one for him. Another nurse replied there’s a broken one in she said a room # then another nurse said yeah there’s another broken one in & she said a different room # then another one chimed in stating the same. Example 4 There is no heater in the bathroom & feels like a refrigerator he asked for assistance with it & they have yet to come in and address it. Don’t get me wrong there are 1 or 2 nurses that have been going above & beyond but for the most of it has been a very bad experience. I can certainly understand why this hospital has a C rating. If you only care about a paycheck then you shouldn’t be a nurse!

You can go sit in the waiting area it’ll be a long wait” (there was NO one there. It was 5am). I trust my instincts on MY baby and that nurse and the rest of the staff was very dismissive. We ended up making a 2 HOUR DRIVE with our sick baby because of how AWFUL the care is at MCH for babies/children. We were immediately admitted for low oxygen. MCH failed my baby boy and didn’t care to listen. Shame on them.

Steve Took my daughter to the ER for severe kidney pain so bad she has been in tears for a few hours. When she approached the lady at the front desk of the ER in obvious pain the first thing she was asked is do you have insurance. Then she appeared to give my daughter attitude. Not how is the pain rating or how long has the pain been going on. The other staff was professional. Once my daughter was moved into a room she was told they could not run an IV fluid due to the fact there is a shortage of fluid. She claimed there was a national shortage of IV fluid..wow.It amazes me the world we live in now.

Imss imss I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Freemen, who was awesome and attentive. However, I faced a challenge with one of the front desk employees. While most of the staff were friendly, there was one who was quite rude. When I inquired about making an appointment for help with medication, she asked if my companion had proof of income. I explained that she doesn’t work, and the employee responded in a dismissive manner that made us feel uncomfortable. This level of unprofessionalism overshadowed what could have been a great visit. I hope the management can address this issue to improve the overall experience for patients.

kittykatsenpai Dont bother wasting your gas to be seen here. The women at the front desk are rude, unorganized and clueless. The woman in charge at the time wouldnt even give me her name. They have turned down my daughter when she was sick, they rescheduled my daughter multiple times and they claim theyll call you to reschedual but they never do. Dont bother making an appointment at all, its as useless as the staff.

lisa Aguirre Horrible hospital. The worst ever. My 12 yo daughter was seen for sever abdominal pain by Dr Scott Estep and another Dr. Had to fight for a catscan then they came back oh its just female issues, mittelschmerz, take Tylenol your fine. Asked if the tordal she got helped she said a little she was still at a 6 he said ok Ill send you home with that instead. Then had the charge nurse say oh he changed his mind. What kind of sexiest discrimination is that? Your a female its just female issues, much less to a 12 year old? So your a hospital based on telling patients youll help make them comfortable then say oh nevermind. My daughter couldnt even walk straight or get thru half a ultrasound she was in so much pain.

Rachel Fowler-Norred 3/12/25 I had to call dispatch because my child was having a seizure and retracting. I told the wonderful caring paramedics to take us to whatever hospital. He gave me two options. I quickly chose MCH not knowing anything about this hospital or the reviews. We arrive swiftly and get to a room. In our ED room there was 2 nurses, a paramedic, paramedic students, X-ray technician, and PA. Let me just say, I was in awe and beyond grateful for how swift, thoughtful, caring, and professional all of the medical professionals were. They all immediately got to work on my child. Giving my child the best work up I have ever seen. They all took our situation seriously and they were so kind to us. We were never left in the room for more than 10-15 minutes before someone was back in, checking on us, and updating me constantly and continuously. Even the gentleman with registration was amazing and kind. Everyone was very soft spoken with us. I do want to point out, there was one gentleman that was with us for most of our time there. I believe he was a student. My child really felt comfortable around all of the medical professionals especially this young gentleman medical student. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank y’all!” The Respiratory ladies were also amazing. The lovely PA lady with the short blonde hair was beyond phenomenal. I really give this entire group 10/10! Again, thank every single one of you for taking care of my child and listening to me and my concerns while I addressing every single one of them. 3/14/25 I had to go to the ED because I was in extreme pain. From the moment I walked in everyone was kind. I immediately was triaged. The triage nurse was very thorough and kind. The nurse assistant was also so kind and helpful. As I sat in the waiting area in pain, I tried to occupy my mind from the pain and my book I brought to read, I used to apply pressure to the area of pain hunched over. I was shocked at such low reviews. We usually do not go to a ER unless it is something serious like seizures, breathing problems, or extreme pain that effects our life’s. We always go to our doctor or an urgent care. I guess to my surprise people have had bad experiences at MCH. I get that but I also know, most do not write “good reviews” so I took the reviews with a grain of salt. The ED was a bit busy. The wait was about 45 minutes to an hour, not long at all in my opinion because I know there are others that definitely need to have full work ups and get the help they need and deserve while in the hospital. So I was in pain but patient. The lovely nurse assistant called me to go back. I get to my ED room and the resident doctor came in. This gentleman listened to me, took the time to talk and explain what may be going on but assuring me that I will have to have imaging and so on. This doctor made me feel comfortable and well heard. While educating me on what it could be and how it works in simple terms. Next came in Samantha BSN RN, this woman had the most prettiest smile and the kindest tone. She also was very thorough. She truly was so amazing my entire visit. Dalia from ultrasound was amazing, did not rush, was kind, and very gentle. Lastly, my doctor (I’m so sorry, I can’t place his name) I believe it’s Dr T. This doctor was the most knowledgeable, down to earth, caring doctor, and patient with me. Like my resident doctor, informed me on how the specific problems I have works, why it is in pain, and how to prevent from the future attacks. He sat down in the chair and listened to me. He also pointed me in the right direction and referred me out. So again, to everyone that took care of my child and I on different days and different times for very different reasons. Thank you all!!!! You all are truly kind. May all of you have the best journey in life.

Elizabeth Karola La O Beltran Very poor care from the health personnel here. If you know of another emergency center, it is better not to go to this one because you are going to die here. It takes 6 hours to attend to you, even though there are emergency rooms available, and if you are Latino and speak Spanish, it is better to go somewhere else because here the ladies who work in the front office, even if they speak Spanish, will tell you that they dont speak Spanish, that they only speak English. I would not recommend anyone who is in an emergency situation to come here, it will not be their best option.

Valeria Paiz Dr. Diaz is absolutely the worst Doctor I have ever visited! Along with the ER and staff. I went in for a miscarriage. Took the Doctor 3 hours before even seeing me after asking the staff multiple times how long it would be. Once the Doctor finally came to see me he dismissed that I was miscarrying based off my blood work. As stated "heart and kidney look fine, so we cant say you are having a miscarriage. hGc levels were at a 500 and I am 6 weeks pregnant. This is my 4th miscarriage so I was very familiar with the symptoms. Once I asked to be discharged after the doctor argued with me about my vitals and symptoms, the discharge paperwork given to me were for a minor! Second discharge paperwork stated I refused treatment which was not the case by any means. Would NOT RECOMMEND this hospital or doctor. Hospital was also unclean. Bathroom was disgusting, blood near the trashcan on the wall and floors along with UNMARKED BLOOD SAMPLES LEFT IN MY ROOM!

Brandace Harrington Nurse was absolutely amazing. Iv tech guy sucked i wouldnt let him stick me a fourth time and Dr Bohem is a complete Jerk. He was rude and didnt even listen of to why i was there to begin with. I have conjested heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. My BP when i got there was 103/57. Yes they did a Ct scan and all that. Dr. Bohem came into the room and said why are you here. I told him i have been sweating prefusely (even with AC) with having these dizzy black out spells, he said he didnt want to hear it. These spells are to where i cant hardly do anything for not even five minutes with out wanting to black out literally, cooking, cleaning, going to the store real quick, showering, trying to keep up with a four year old by myself, nothing (Im on oxygen 24/7). As i told the nurse i didnt feel safe going home because of these spells i have been having and she agreed. Dr Bohem came in said i have treated you, you need to leave. Nurse was in the room when he said that. I of course teared up and told him i didnt feel safe going home because of the dizzy spells i have been having and he urged that i leave. Prior to this visit i havent been able to hold down food for a week and fluid for four days as he misdiagnosed me. Yes my esphagus is enlarged because of throwing up nothing but pure stomach acid, as i know for a fact i do not have an enlarged esphagus. I have never had this problem before. I was not only misdiagnosed but let down by someone who is suppose to be compassionate in their field of work. He recommended me to a specialist and an adsolute ton of meds for my stomach I dont even need. I will be filing an official complaint as well with the ER department.
