lisa Aguirre Horrible hospital. The worst ever. My 12 yo daughter was seen for sever abdominal pain by Dr Scott Estep and another Dr. Had to fight for a catscan then they came back oh its just female issues, mittelschmerz, take Tylenol your fine. Asked if the tordal she got helped she said a little she was still at a 6 he said ok Ill send you home with that instead. Then had the charge nurse say oh he changed his mind. What kind of sexiest discrimination is that? Your a female its just female issues, much less to a 12 year old? So your a hospital based on telling patients youll help make them comfortable then say oh nevermind. My daughter couldnt even walk straight or get thru half a ultrasound she was in so much pain.

Rachel Fowler-Norred 3/12/25 I had to call dispatch because my child was having a seizure and retracting. I told the wonderful caring paramedics to take us to whatever hospital. He gave me two options. I quickly chose MCH not knowing anything about this hospital or the reviews. We arrive swiftly and get to a room. In our ED room there was 2 nurses, a paramedic, paramedic students, X-ray technician, and PA. Let me just say, I was in awe and beyond grateful for how swift, thoughtful, caring, and professional all of the medical professionals were.
They all immediately got to work on my child. Giving my child the best work up I have ever seen. They all took our situation seriously and they were so kind to us. We were never left in the room for more than 10-15 minutes before someone was back in, checking on us, and updating me constantly and continuously. Even the gentleman with registration was amazing and kind. Everyone was very soft spoken with us.
I do want to point out, there was one gentleman that was with us for most of our time there. I believe he was a student. My child really felt comfortable around all of the medical professionals especially this young gentleman medical student. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank y’all!”
The Respiratory ladies were also amazing. The lovely PA lady with the short blonde hair was beyond phenomenal. I really give this entire group 10/10! Again, thank every single one of you for taking care of my child and listening to me and my concerns while I addressing every single one of them.
3/14/25 I had to go to the ED because I was in extreme pain. From the moment I walked in everyone was kind. I immediately was triaged. The triage nurse was very thorough and kind. The nurse assistant was also so kind and helpful.
As I sat in the waiting area in pain, I tried to occupy my mind from the pain and my book I brought to read, I used to apply pressure to the area of pain hunched over. I was shocked at such low reviews. We usually do not go to a ER unless it is something serious like seizures, breathing problems, or extreme pain that effects our life’s. We always go to our doctor or an urgent care. I guess to my surprise people have had bad experiences at MCH. I get that but I also know, most do not write “good reviews” so I took the reviews with a grain of salt.
The ED was a bit busy. The wait was about 45 minutes to an hour, not long at all in my opinion because I know there are others that definitely need to have full work ups and get the help they need and deserve while in the hospital. So I was in pain but patient.
The lovely nurse assistant called me to go back. I get to my ED room and the resident doctor came in. This gentleman listened to me, took the time to talk and explain what may be going on but assuring me that I will have to have imaging and so on. This doctor made me feel comfortable and well heard. While educating me on what it could be and how it works in simple terms.
Next came in Samantha BSN RN, this woman had the most prettiest smile and the kindest tone. She also was very thorough. She truly was so amazing my entire visit.
Dalia from ultrasound was amazing, did not rush, was kind, and very gentle.
Lastly, my doctor (I’m so sorry, I can’t place his name) I believe it’s Dr T. This doctor was the most knowledgeable, down to earth, caring doctor, and patient with me. Like my resident doctor, informed me on how the specific problems I have works, why it is in pain, and how to prevent from the future attacks.
He sat down in the chair and listened to me. He also pointed me in the right direction and referred me out.
So again, to everyone that took care of my child and I on different days and different times for very different reasons.
Thank you all!!!! You all are truly kind. May all of you have the best journey in life.

Elizabeth Karola La O Beltran Very poor care from the health personnel here. If you know of another emergency center, it is better not to go to this one because you are going to die here. It takes 6 hours to attend to you, even though there are emergency rooms available, and if you are Latino and speak Spanish, it is better to go somewhere else because here the ladies who work in the front office, even if they speak Spanish, will tell you that they dont speak Spanish, that they only speak English. I would not recommend anyone who is in an emergency situation to come here, it will not be their best option.

Valeria Paiz Dr. Diaz is absolutely the worst Doctor I have ever visited! Along with the ER and staff. I went in for a miscarriage. Took the Doctor 3 hours before even seeing me after asking the staff multiple times how long it would be. Once the Doctor finally came to see me he dismissed that I was miscarrying based off my blood work. As stated "heart and kidney look fine, so we cant say you are having a miscarriage. hGc levels were at a 500 and I am 6 weeks pregnant. This is my 4th miscarriage so I was very familiar with the symptoms. Once I asked to be discharged after the doctor argued with me about my vitals and symptoms, the discharge paperwork given to me were for a minor! Second discharge paperwork stated I refused treatment which was not the case by any means. Would NOT RECOMMEND this hospital or doctor. Hospital was also unclean. Bathroom was disgusting, blood near the trashcan on the wall and floors along with UNMARKED BLOOD SAMPLES LEFT IN MY ROOM!

Brandace Harrington Nurse was absolutely amazing. Iv tech guy sucked i wouldnt let him stick me a fourth time and Dr Bohem is a complete Jerk. He was rude and didnt even listen of to why i was there to begin with. I have conjested heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. My BP when i got there was 103/57. Yes they did a Ct scan and all that. Dr. Bohem came into the room and said why are you here. I told him i have been sweating prefusely (even with AC) with having these dizzy black out spells, he said he didnt want to hear it. These spells are to where i cant hardly do anything for not even five minutes with out wanting to black out literally, cooking, cleaning, going to the store real quick, showering, trying to keep up with a four year old by myself, nothing (Im on oxygen 24/7). As i told the nurse i didnt feel safe going home because of these spells i have been having and she agreed. Dr Bohem came in said i have treated you, you need to leave. Nurse was in the room when he said that. I of course teared up and told him i didnt feel safe going home because of the dizzy spells i have been having and he urged that i leave. Prior to this visit i havent been able to hold down food for a week and fluid for four days as he misdiagnosed me. Yes my esphagus is enlarged because of throwing up nothing but pure stomach acid, as i know for a fact i do not have an enlarged esphagus. I have never had this problem before. I was not only misdiagnosed but let down by someone who is suppose to be compassionate in their field of work. He recommended me to a specialist and an adsolute ton of meds for my stomach I dont even need. I will be filing an official complaint as well with the ER department.
