Eric Lewis My appointment was for a later time but decided to go there and see if I can be seen a little earlier. They were very accommodating and helpful. I was able to check in and get out of there quickly. Will always continue to go to Total Mens.

Blake Blochlinger This place is a joke. I had a specialist send a letter approving care from Total Mens and Nina said they denied it. I then called and talked directly to the specialist, and she read the letter word for word to me and said that what Nina is saying is not what they said and apologized. I called Nina back and she tried to tell me that what my specialist, who wrote the letter, just said to me over the phone was a lie.

Brian I visited Total Men’s Primary Care in Denton for my annual physical and I had a pleasant experience. The medical professional I saw made me feel welcome and they listened as I asked questions. I would recommend Total Men’s Primary Care.

Rick The moment I arrived at the Baylor Heart Hospital Denton Pre-Op area I felt I was in great care. The nurses, surgeons, surgeon support team and hospital staff were very competent and caring.

Sharon Wilson I am thoroughly impress with Baylor Scott and White Heart Center. From the check in time to the prep, nurses and surgeon and anesthesiologist. Everyone was so cheerful and happy and so kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to have anything done from Baylor, White and Scott.. they are very versatile, but when it comes to the matter of the heart, I think they are the best!

Tim Miller I had chest pain and was extremely concerned. I arrived at the ER when I walked in the door they immediately tended to asking if I needed a wheelchair. They acted quickly, 4 or 5 of them jumped into helping me get situated. RN Pam S. ended up being my nurse, she made me feel extremely safe, I felt such a great relief and felt so comfortable while feeling so bad. Dr. Hamilton came in several times asking me more and more questions, trying to get me the best treatment. I feel i got the best diagnosis and the best care from any ER that I have been. Before i left they quized me on my treatment at home to ensure i understood instead of just kicking me out the door. Thank you to all the staff and I hope you dont see me again, but I will definitely tell anyone in need this is the place to go for great care in an emergency.

Tena Dale I really loved my experience at HSNT, even though it was my first visit. I wasn’t kept waiting a long period of time before I was seen. I feel like the medical staff wants to help me get back to good health rather than just palliative treatments. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

alexa coleman It’s true when they say you can’t judge a book by its cover because the outer appearance seems as if the clinic would be unprofessional, rachet, and a joke but it’s actually the opposite. The staff are professional and kind, and my children’s Dr. Bhangoo is very intelligent/knowledgeable and takes her time and listens.

Katy Magee I visited this ER in January 2025 and it was easily the best experience Ive had when it comes to urgent/emergency care. The facilities were clean. The receptionist was extremely kind and attentive. The nurses and doctors were patient, gentle, and communicated information very well. I was provided with a folder containing all details of my visits and the doctors recommendations that I was able to give to a specialist. This proved to be very helpful. Wait time was no longer than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this ER.

Ivan Jones My wife and I were both sick on New Years Day so we went to TotalCare. The receptionist was very helpful and Pleasant. After we filled out the paperwork, we waited about 10 minutes to get called in to a room. The nurses were friendly, very helpful and extremely efficient. Before the nursed finished getting all our vitals and info, the Dr came in and examined both of us. The Dr was friendly, empathetic, and efficient but took all the time needed to answer our questions! Later the Dr called with our test results and again took the time to explain the results. I am very happy with the care we received at TotalCare and will go back for any Medical needs in the future!

Alexis Carey I had an extremely disappointing experience at this OB-GYN office. First off, they don’t even perform sonograms on-site; they refer you to another location, which feels incredibly impersonal and inconvenient and to make it worse the imaging center they refer out to doesn’t even provide printed pictures of the sonogram or even play the baby’s heartbeat out loud. The OB-GYN office visit gave a “factory-like” atmosphere, as if they were just rushing through appointments without any real care for the patients. I felt more like a number there than a patient. There was no comfortable place to sit in the back waiting area. And then I had to wait almost 30-40 minutes just waiting for the doctor to even come back to see me. The front desk staff were nice but I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for quality care or a personal, welcoming experience.

The doctor was thorough and explained things to me so my husband and I knew what she was talking about.

Chasmin Johnson I’ve been here 3 times, this ER has become my go to above all other ERs. The receptionist is the sweetest! The staff are very friendly, understanding and makes you very comfortable! They have the best attitudes and always can answer questions! Doctors treat you so well and see you more than once to follow up. The Doctors are very involved and doesn’t just see you once for 2 seconds like other hospitals! They also send Thank You cards to your home which is so sweet of them!

Racquel W Came in as I was having excruciating back pain. The wait time was very minimal (I came in around 8pm). The woman at the front desk (sorry I didn’t catch your name) was super sweet and helped out quickly. The nurse and Dr. Chavda listened and I felt cared for in terms of bedside manner and treatment options. Appreciate a place like this being available when I needed it the most. Highly recommend.

Morgan Kainu I went in for a possible broken/fractured toe on 9/25/2024. Immediately upon walking in the receptionist was the kindest person I think I have ever met and made me feel calm and welcome. I have really bad anxiety at doctors offices and hospitals and talking with her gave me a good first impression. Upon being taken back, I was taken to a private room. The bed was very comfortable and each person that came in to take vitals and ask questions was very kind. It was really nice that they werent speaking too loudly and gave me time to answer questions and fill out paperwork as my anxiety was sky rocketing as soon as I heard I needed x-rays and a shot. They talked me through the process and sat with me during each step of the way to ensure that I was comfortable and didnt need anything additional. I highly recommend Surepoint Emergency Center in Denton! I left having possibly the best doctor/hospital visit in my life.

Marylou Baggett Dr Caldwell is the best cardiologist! I have been going to him for years and he has taken excellent care of my heart problems and helped me live a great normal life. Whenever I have needed help with prescriptions he has helped me to tremendously Dr Caldwell listens, does research and explains to you. I refer all my friends to him. I recommend him highly.

Pamela Lane I always leave Dr. Caldwells office with a gigantic sense of relief. Having heart issues on both sides of my family, I have always suspected that eventually it might be an issue for me. I can confidently say that I no longer have this in the back of my mind. Dr. Caldwell is an incredibly, knowledgeable physician. He is easily adept at discussing a plethora of studies to support his recommendations. I always receive the most up to date information, in a genuinely courteous and professional manner. His staff is highly efficient, approachable and friendly. He comes with the highest of recommendations.

Rick Hissem I have been a patient here for 18 years now, and have always found Dr Caldwell to run a first class cardiology clinic. He is very professional, listens to his patients, and is able to give all the time necessary for the patient. He is great about explaining things, recommending therapies, and does an amazing job in the Catheter Lab. His staff is polite, professional, and caring. He generally runs very close to schedule, and is a true pleasure to deal with.

Stephanie Snider I have been a patient of Dr. Caldwells for over 20yrs! He has always been very kind and considerate when answering all of my questions! The compassion and respect that he has for all of his patients is unmatched! From the second that you walk through the office doors you are treated like family! Very highly recommend!

Samuel McGeever Dont go. I was referred by my Primary Care for Sleep Apnea. I never received any call from Dr Caldwells office. I finally called and had to wait about 3 weeks before even having an at home sleep test. After completing it I had it I had to wait another month before even getting the results - which I only received because I called and essentially refused to get off the phone until I was given them. They then said they would send them back to my Primary Care for follow up. My Primary Care never called, so I finally called and they said, no Dr Caldwell needed to follow up. So I called Dr Caldwells office again and they said "Oh the PCP wants up to follow up? Ok well youd have to be a new patient..."

m He claimed he had experienced with hEDS and then recommended collagen supplements to ease my symptoms and $800 in physical therapy. They do not know what they’re doing, they just try and squeeze every dollar out of you by recommending physical therapy (and slyly forcing you to do it by not telling you that it’ll be $200 for a 30 min session and just herding you to the pt room). Scum of the Earth, don’t waste your time.

Cynthia Talbot I would recommend Woodlands medical to anyone needing a PCP in Denton. Everyone from the front desk staff to the phlebotomist is kind, professional and personable. I saw Brittany Bradshaw but again all the staff was great to work with.

Frito Bandito The doctor does not listen to you, he just wants to make you do physical therapy. I have osteoarthritis, my bones literally lock up painfully and hurt a lot after repetitive motions. He just tried to get me to come in twice a week to do pointless exercises, and treated me like a child when I told him I couldnt be changing my work schedule around a placebo, as if moving my wrists back and forth was imperative to fixing a degenerative disease. Brother, Im losing cartilage, messing around with the affected areas wears it down, it doesnt build it back up. I need surgery, not a ridiculous dance session. Pretty much just a bunch of quacks that think a big vibrator and chiropractory is a legitimate replacement for real medicine. Finding a new PCP ASAP.

Stella Roberts I had a great Drs visit today at Woodlands Medical Group. Normally its quite a task to get my blood drawn, but Kat got me on the first try. Everyone was wonderful.

Amanda Bacchetta I was there Saturday with my 11 year old daughter and everyone was kind, supportive and spoke to her like an adult. Everyone walked her through everything they were doing and why. I was very pleased with how well everyone communicated and attended to her!!!! This hospital is definitely our new number 1 for emergencies. I never judge an ER by their front desk because those poor people see and hear all kinds of crazy, but the front desk at this ER was very nice and attentive and supportive to the families that followed an ambulance. They also continuously apologized for how long we were there but it’s ER and that should be expected because they have to triage and sometimes everyone comes at once.

Neva Sudderth Everyone was very nice and informative. The only thing that really needs attention is the check in process. Only one person was working the registration desk and there were many people there for surgery that day. It made the wait time long. Other than that my experience was great. The facility was clean and it seem to run smoothly. The lady who took care of me in post op was just the sweetest person. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

Louveda Morris The entire staff was amazing from the moment I walked into the Emergency Room until discharge 3 days later. The care staff was professional and attentive, and the nutrition staff went out of their way to ensure my meals were healthy and delicious. I felt very well cared for.

Rochelle Schafer The staff got me in a room very quickly. My first nurse was so nice. I wish I could remember her name. She put in the IV. Another nurse who had a lot of piercings wasn’t very nice. I don’t say that because of her appearance, she just wasn’t very kind. I felt like an imposition to her. The RN was very helpful and the doctor pretty good. I was a bit upset when he said I could leave but I was still shaking a lot. The RN was able to get me a pill that calmed me down before I left.

Tina Cartwright Ty was amazing! She was really friendly and professional. Listened to me when it came to sticking my arms for my IV. I have difficult veins but she managed to get the one I explained would work best. She called me several times before my procedure to make sure she was prepared for my scan. I could tell she really cares about her job and her patients. She was so comfortable to work with and comforting. Can not say enough good things about having her handle my procedure. Thank you!

Rasul Ngoma Heath services of North Texas - Denton Medical center 4304 is one of the best medical centers I have been treated. The staff are friendly and attentive to patients needs. Ms Nisha Abrahams, FNP attended to my medical issues with such a compassionate mood. All the referrals, lab tests and prescriptions made me feel cured, Not forgetting all other staff for their professional approach.

Crystal Cross My insurance provider reached out to ensure the provider listed as accepting new patients was available for a appointment for me. They were not accepting new patients but the NP was. I agreed to see the NP. My insurance contact was told to have me reach out to schedule a appointment. Well I tried today. After being on hold for over 10 minutes I was told the next available appointment is not until mid January. That is two months out. I definitely need a provider who is more approachable and open than this. So I will be contacting my health insurance provider to remove the NP as PCP and start again. Definitely not the best first impression for a Healthcare provider establishment.

Leah S Today my daughter had some bumps apear on her scalp, they were full of pus and blood so I had called here asking if they did walk-ins still. They do not. So I asked if they had any appointments available and she said no they didnt, I was then transferred to a nurse who said she didnt know why I was transferred and I was sent back to the front desk. The third lady that answered bless her heart, had told me they had several times available and gladly scheduled me for a 4pm appointment. I went in at about 3:48pm get called back around 3:55pm and the nurse I spoken to before is the one that saw me. She checked my daughters vitals, height, and weight and then told me the doctor would see me soon. I waited till 4:52pm to get seen. Almost 50 minutes later and no one had come in to check on my daughter, there were no patients, all the nurses and receptionists were sitting, I had already asked where the doctor was and was told theyd go check. Never got seen, so I grabbed my daughter and left. Very disappointed.

Simone J I have found this location to be very biased. Ever since my first visit I noticed I was treated differently from the Hispanic patients. Ive had my initial antenatal visit canceled more than once and even when I explained that I am high risk, which they have my details on file about, and that Ive ended up in the ER already with complications they still keep cancelling. The first cancellation I was even told there was never an appointment on file. Even when I said to them that by the middle of next month I could succumb to whatever may be going on, they didnt seem to care. Getting in with another facility is difficult and I have no one to order my ultrasound or serum BHCG since its out of my PCPs scope. Please do better, because patient safety doesnt seem to be your utmost priority. I wrote the above review on Jan 30th, 2025 and Im editing it on the 1st of Feb. As I previously mentioned SAFETY first. Pregnancy can be a life or death situation. My concerns were shrugged off but luckily Im very proactive. I took myself to the ER and had emergency surgery done yesterday morning, they said had I waited it couldve been fatal for me. As an established patient in different locations my entire history is in file, my initial antenatal visit should never have been cancelled so many times, especially knowing that finding an OB is difficult. Im very disappointed and warn others to be very careful with this place.

Aneri Shah People are here not knowledgeable. They dont know proper billing method and medical code. They bill just randomly. I just went for my annual checkup and they sent me $1346 bill. I have been trying to resolve this from last 2 months. But no one is ready to take responsibility. Worst experience ever. Worst doctors and worst staff.

Jennifer Hunt Edit on 5/24: I want to edit and let it be known that the office manager reached out regarding the nurses behavior. I feel the manager needs to go into the portal and read how this "professional," responded. To answer your question no, she did not give me any other options other then to take and I quote "I B Profen or go to the ER." I talked to my best friend whos a traveling nurse and she stated that this is actually borderline malpractice. Im suppose to be under Dr. Chens care, not a rude nurse who acts like Im bothersome while in pain. Honestly the pain is far worse then before and it just feels like its constantly tearing or splitting open still and today is a week since the surgery. I appreciate the officer manager reaching out but I think alot of times yall forget this is a business. I am paying yall. Stop treating patients like crap when its your one job to make them feel better. I wouldnt recommend anyone here for a painful surgery maybe I was nieve to think it wouldnt be too awful seeing as its my 11th surgery in my 31 years and my 4th surgery since September of last year. Again to state not a single one of them has been elective. Dr. Chen was great, however her nurse/assistant Nicole acts like any messages she gets for the Dr. is a burden. She lies about protocols and leaves Dr. Chens patients in pain. I was recommended by her to go to the ER when I just had surgery Friday. Not to mention a 2 week follow up is closer to 4 weeks and by 4 weeks I dont see a reason to see them any longer. They know this is my 4th surgery within the year, none of them have been elective and they are choosing to leave me in pain. I mentioned I sneezed and she didnt have a response for that. I really hope nothing tore. Get better nurses. Ones who arent there just for a paycheck. I left a vm to cancel any further appointments. Ill be finding a new practice for any issues going forward.

George Trabazo Dr. Mosier and the entire staff at this office really shine. They are compassionate, caring, and thorough. They seem to go the extra mile, but that is their standard, not the exception. I was very impressed with the entire experience here from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Liz I arrived Saturday night and was not able to get a room due to no beds available. My stay was until Monday. Beds are hard and I wasnt provided a better bed. Very uncomfortable situation. But let me tell you how the ER staff was. They were incredible! They attended to me even though they were extremely busy with several other patients, some of those were trauma patients. They were available as soon as they could and kept me as comfortable as possible. So to those nurses, I say thank you for a job well done, and loving what you do!

Ritzy Rosa It was great. Everybody works together in a friendly and relaxed environment. I felt to be like in a hotel. Even the meals are exquisite. The nurses are there 24/7 to assist you and help with your health issues, and the doctors are absolutely awesome. I could go on and on. The emergency staff came promptly and rescue me in my home in the middle of the night and save my life, and thats priceless. Id recommend Medical City Hospital to anyone. God-bless them all.

Mary Bridges James came in with the symptoms of a stroke. He was placed in a room, immediately took him for a scan, then a MRI confirmed a small stroke. When a room opened up he moved to second floor. He received excellent service. All professional and well taken care of. A rating of 5 stars. linda davis The ER staff at Medical City, Denton are just amazing. Because the hospital was full I waited 12 hours in ER. ER was also full, 40 beds and 60 patients. However the staff was constantly attentive and caring. Steve was one of the best, most attentive nurses I have ever had. THANK YOU!!

Carl Malkiewicz My wife was very weak and not talking clearly. She started a new medication, and it appeared that she was having a reaction to the medication or an overdose. I had her transported to Med City Denton by EMS. Arriving she was evaluated immediately, and blood work was taken. Information was provided to the hospital staff. My wife was handled with care & dignity, and I was kept informed of all testing. They recommended she stay overnight for observation and follow up if needed. The staff in the Emergency room and hospital was excellent and if needed, I would return to Med City Denton without hesitation. They are excellent!

Glory Sanchez They were so wonderful! My labor and delivery were great. Both my nurses were amazing! My baby had jaundice and needed phototherapy. I got to room in with her for as long as she needed the therapy, even after I had been discharged. I would recommend delivering here and if I have another baby, I would want to deliver here again! The celebration meal they bring you after the baby is born is amazing!

Evan Had to come here to get a blood test for our baby. Walked in, no one at the front desk, went up the elevator to l&d, no one there, came back and a lady asked if we needed help. She got us checked in very very slowly. It had been almost an hour at this point and we were anticipating 30ish minutes, so the baby was getting hungry. We decided to try to wait a bit because the tech was on the way. 45 minutes later the lady comes out and says the tech is at lunch... ok so now my wife needs to breastfeed the baby so we ask if theres somewhere private she can do that. They said you can do it in the bathroom or in the lobby. Bathroom was nasty so I had to cover my wife with my jacket while she breastfed. Just seems odd to us that the women and babies area doesnt have anywhere sanitary or private to breastfeed. Blood draw went ok though all things considered.

Madison Moser We just had our son here on 9/8/23 and had the BEST experience. We showed up to the emergency room and I was already 9cm dilated. The nurses worked very quickly to get me into labor & delivery and I delivered our son within 27 minutes of arriving at the hospital. Rebecca (overnight shift nurse) was absolutely AMAZING and helped me deliver in minutes. She was so encouraging, personable, and so funny too. Lisa was also an amazing nurse we had for the rest of our stay. She made sure I had everything I needed and that I was always comfortable. The new women’s center and the rooms are so nice and everyone was so caring. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Jonathan Holbert I have so many great things to say about the staff here. The doctors were all very kind but the nurses really handled mostly everything. My wife and I had a birth center birth planned but due to complications had to undergo an induction here. Every nurse we had was so sympathetic to our situation and did such a great job making sure we were in charge of our decisions and accommodating us. Tina P, Kathryn L, Jennifer G, Cynthia K and Kelley W on labor and delivery were all wonderful. Chris B on postpartum and our other nurses (I’m sorry I missed a name or two, we were so exhausted) were also wonderful and helped us transition to being first time parents really well. We were especially so so grateful for Tina as she was there during the most intense parts of labor. She was an absolute Godsend for my wife, daughter and I. Thank you Tina! The suites were also very nice, the vending machines were convenient and the cafe isn’t half bad! If we end up having a hospital birth again in the future we will absolutely return here!

Kori Byrd Words cannot express how pleased we were with the care and support of our dear family member. Everyone, including the nurses, therapists, custodial staff, and even the kitchen staff were wonderful. The quality of care given was exceptional. The Atrium staff not only cared for our loved one, but also included the family in all aspects of her care. The facility was always clean and maintained and very welcoming. We are so grateful that everyone from the Atrium were apart of our loved ones recovery.

Debra Anthony My husband was there for 3 months. He faced many challenges and coded 4 times. Each time the super sweet staff brought him back. Five years late rhe is going strong and healthy today. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and train me to take care of his trach. When we were discharged the staff from the CEO down came to say goodbye. Dan Graves Avoid this hospital at all costs! They ignore alarms, call lights, let IV pumps beep for hours. They also didn’t catch that my mother was going septic until I alerted them and insisted that they intervene; by that time she had almost died. They also don’t have an ICU or doctors there at night. I had my mom sent back to Denton Regional and then to Select Specialty Hospital. It was night and day.

Jana Matney I beg those of you who cherish your loved ones, DO NOT send anyone to The Atrium on Corinth, TX. My cousin was there for a short time and had a wound caused by bed sores. The staff at The Atrium did not treat her properly and things became worse until her family sent her back to Presbyterian in Denton, where wound care specialists were called in and she improved. My close friend was sent to The Atrium ICU on March 11, 2013. I visited her that day, and she was communicating with me, laughing, and she just looked lovely. I was so happy and knew she was well on the road to recovery. Three days later, I received a call that her oxygen had been disconnected from her, and although warning signals of all kinds had to have gone off, she gasped for air while no one came until she coded blue. She was unable to be revived. Her family took her back to Presbyterian in Denton that day, and my dear friend is now brain dead. The Atrium have yet to tell the family a story that matches anyone elses story there about what really happened that day. The CEO of The Atrium is also not cooperating. This was my close friend, a mother, a grandmother, an educator, and friend to so many. But, the people at The Atrium killed her because they just didnt care. If I can save one person by this posting from dying or suffering, then it is worth it. At a local hospital where my mother volunteers, when someone goes to The Atrium, the comeback is always, "So, they are sending that person there to die, eh?" Yes, apparently they are. Payton I have been coming here for years and have always gone to M.E.D and have never had an interaction this bad before. On Friday night, I went in expecting to get help. The two women at the check-in desk were extremely nice and helpful. But unfortunately, when I was brought back to see the doctor the nurse who took my vitals CHRISTA was very rude. She was rushing the whole process because I didn’t know the answer to her questions she then and slammed the door hard when as she left the room. I then overheard her bad mouthing me in front all of the other staff and the doctor( Sean) that was about to see me. He wasn’t very much helpful either but then got mad when I was in rush to leave because of how rudely I was treated. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. I honestly hope that management talks to Christia because she was extremely unprofessional by talking loudly about a patient badly behind closed doors.

Goldenrose11 Amazing that the NP John still has a job here after all the complaints. I came here several times after Covid. Im a long hauler who was gaslighted by all of my Drs when I had Covid so I dropped them all. I pick up any and everything now. Came here for bronchitis and a sinus infection. Last visit, John had the audacity to yell at me and tell me I was Dr hopping and they are NOT my Primary care Dr. Dr Hopping??? The sheer audacity. This was the only place I was going to. Last time Ill ever go to this place. The lack of empathy and compassion is astounding. Do better and find better Humans to work there. That Tool John is NOT it.

RabbitHat An amazing experience! I had strep throat last week and the nurse who tested me for strep did an amazing job. Quickest test yet. Out of all the many times I’ve had strep, this was the best experience despite me being sick.

Emily Weeks I have never left a doctor’s office feeling so seen and taken care of. Doctor Blankenau was so compassionate and he took every concern I had into account. Highly recommend for any urgent concerns, everyone was so kind.

Deb Lanham I went to Minor Emergency in Denton about 6 months ago while I was visiting family. I had some health complications, and decided to go to Minor Emergency since it is very close to my familys home. I saw a nurse practitioner, (John, I think?), and he listened and was very compassionate and helped me with my health issues. He even called in a prescription, and the pharmacy was right next door. All of that took only about an hour! I would definitely go back to this place. Bonus....cute gift shop in the pharmacy too. I spent some money there!

Businesses like this need to be held accountable for putting greed before running a legitimate and transparent business. So the 2025 rates need to include updating your adversiting!!!!! You change you website and the change your prices! That is the bottom line. I am sure the BBB, TX Attortney General, and whomever regulars our doctors. All people are trying to do is get care and help! $100 advertised visit is now $200-300. This is greed and this is why all businesses need to be held accountable.

Carolann Robbins Called to see if how soon I could have my child seen as a new patient, and spoke with the lovely receptionist who was able to get us in that day! Arriving with time for the paperwork, I feel we were seen in a very timely manor as well as the others in the waiting room. The staff was warm and welcoming to us even when my young child was unsure of things at times. I left the office feeling very confident that we received excellent care and will recommend Dr. Purgason. We have found our family physician and look forward to our next visit.

Jeff Little Went to Dr Purgason’s office today. I have been a patient for many years and I have NEVER been treated as unprofessionally as I was today. The excuse of a Nurse Practioner that they have now is too busy to even sit still and discuss my issue. I was trying to explain about my back problems and his instant diagnosis WITHOUT even raising my shirt was sciatica and age. He didn’t hear a word that I said about having bulging disks and pinched nerves and i had previous pain management shots to help with pain. I told him of another issue and he said he didn’t need to check me out that he would just order an ultrasound. Then we got into a discussion as to why he couldn’t write me a paper prescription for my blood pressure meds. This guy was no Dr. Purgason. His demeanor was rude, short, and uncaring. I would suggest he return to patient empathy and compassion training and at least look like he is interested rather than trying to win the cross country race and get out of the exam room.

If we have something that needs urgent attention they try they best to accommodate it every time. The entire staff is wonderful. My favorite thing is that they don’t herd you through like cattle here. They take the time to listen and treat. That’s rare these days. Samantha Fitz-Simons I have gone there for years, they are one of the few that accept my insurance. Last week I went in for an appointment because I had not felt well for a while. The nurse took my vitals, walked out of the room and told my Practioner, "Your not gonna believe this one." She went on to discuss my problems loud enough that I heard the entire conversation 3 doors down, Im sure every patient on my hall heard this! Kim is Great and Jason is Great, but they really need thicker walls or to train their staff!!!

Kenneth I have been coming here since 1998. After a several reputable nurses and staff left a few years back, it went downhill. They used to have very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I had Dr. Gorman for 22.5 years. I developed a relationship with him to the point he would listen to my advice and let me be a part of my treatment. Every good doctor and PA I have known here are gone. I used to have relationships with almost every nurse and staff on a first name basis. The atmosphere is just not the same!

Mike Hewitt When i first started using this facility the service was great. After 6 years, the service of getting prescriptions refilled has diminished. For 4 times, it has taken me a week to either get the "okay" for a refill or for them to call me and tell me i need to make an appointment for a checkup.....only after Im out of medication. Randy Martz did a great job and I hate to part from this place but the support staff leaves plenty to be desired. Last time I did blood work, I had to come back the next day to re-do it because it was done improperly.

Miriam Gibson DO NOT come here. Just dont! This has been by far, my worst experience at any doctors office in my entire life, and I get sick a lot so I have been to so many doctors. First off they break laws, they do not confirm any identity when on the phone with you about sensitive information and rush you off the phone. Second is if you get labs done there,get your results. They lied to me over the phone about my results, which could effect me for the rest of my life. The office staff is incredibly rude, lazy and just awful to interact with. They are pushy and will rush you through everything all while rolling their eyes. The first time I went I was seen by the most unprofessional male nurse, he made me very uncomfortable and was rough when administering tests and oh, surprise, extremely rude. I went on a Saturday for the "first appointment" at 9am I didnt leave until 12:30PM. I saw the nurse/assistant, who was of course rude to me, and Doctor a total of 15 minutes!!! I sat there and waited for hours!!! When I had questions for my nurse she just brushed me off. I cant believe other people still come here. I will never come here again and I have been warning others off as well, find another doctor!

Brittany NOT ACREDITED BY BBB They are now under a new name and providing horrible service. I have 4 regular prescriptions that are always filled for 3 month period. When I got my most recent refills they excluded one probably the most important 1 for my panic attacks. I called to find out why they told me I would have to have an appointment so I set that up. I paid $50 to speak with their new PA who refused to refill until I did blood work costing me another $114 then was advised that they would not be able to refill my prescription for the 3 period. And I would need to see their Psychologist. They made it very clear they are only interested in getting as much money out of you as possible

Tonya Chapman I have been going to this practice for 22 + years. I have always had great experiences, from the front office to the office manager to the supervisor to the nurses to the NPS to the Doctors. The front office always greets patients with a smile. They get you checked in quickly and any paperwork I need them to print out is done by the end of my visit. The office manager always makes sure to say hi and ask me how I am doing. The supervisor always makes sure she says hi and asks if I have any issues. The nurses are always kind and courteous and very compassionate. They answer your questions and if they don’t know the answer they will find it out. The NP’S and Doctors are very competent and knowledgeable. They explain things so the patients understand. They talk to you like you are a person not a number. The whole office really cares about their patients and their health. The make me feel like I am family.

Lilly Morales Be sure to go after the doctor has her baby. Wrong profession if you’re terrified of illness. I went in as a new patient. I said I had allergies and then was not allowed to see the NP without taking THREE nose swabs. No one even checked my temperature or looked in my throat to assess need. “There’s a pregnant provider here.” Cool, I was pregnant in 2021 high risk and didn’t flip out. I declined after they couldn’t tell me what that would cost me and was told I could do Telehealth ….. IN MY CAR. Hahahah go on mat leave or find a new profession that suits you.

Bobby Combs Have been going there for 5 years. Saw one Doctor who abruptly left the office and thats when I should have left because she was fantastic. Would listen and answer questions and would even answer a few questions via email or phone. New Dr came in and while she is knowledgeable, the bedside manner is atrocious. I had an annual physical and asked them to run a certain test to check on a medication that I am on. I ran out of the medication that I had been using for 6 months and they refused to refill it until my bloodwork came back. I complained and they refilled it. 1 month later I have my follow up visit for my lab results and I was unable to make it in for the appointment and asked if we could go a call or something. Front desk girl tells me its against the law to discuss lab results on the phone. When I questioned her she got upset and said there was nothing they can do. Later I get a call from the front office manager. We had a chat and I explained everything to her and she understood where I was coming from and said it wouldnt be a worry to do telehealth. By the way its not illegal for them to tell you the results over the phone, they just cant charge you the copay. Have my telehealth appointment with Dallas. The pregnant doctor in the other review. She starts the conversation stating I broke their code of conduct policy and they have zero tolerance policy and they can kick me out their practices and that she would not give me a refill on my medication because she didnt want to loose her license and so on. She also goes in to say I was inappropriate for asking for a different time and she has other patients than me. Finally she then tells me my results and proceeds to explain she is moving and leaving the practice. Well in the mail I receive a letter they have denied seeing me ever again. Which is fine with me I was leaving that practice anyway due to their unprofessionalism behavior, their practice policies, and the idiotic front desk personnel.

Clair Rivera Started off great, but went downhill over the last year. First, I agree with the supplement push. We attended the seminar, only to be told that the program would be $5,000 each. I dont know many people that have that kind of cash, let alone $10,000 for a couple. We had the twice yearly blood tests done, and then I got a strange letter from my insurance company which suggested the reason they were given for the blood work was that I had a condition (which I do not). That raised a red flag. It has been extremely difficult to get our prescriptions refilled, which was never a problem in the past. Crystal at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional to my husband and my pharmacist over the last script refill that took way too long to get approved. My husband then went in last month with a sinus infection and was told a script would be called into our pharmacy. It never was. Rather than mess with the staff again, he toughed it out with over-the-counters. We decided then that we would change providers.

gerek gerek They are scam artists, they will tell you that something is covered then suddenly bill you weeks later, if you complain they threaten your credit, like they think thats even a threat in a world where houses start at half a mil.

Jeff F I have been a patient of Dr. Farah Shah for almost 5 years. She is an honest, caring physician who genuinely listens to your concerns and observations about your physical and mental health. She works with you to improve your overall well being and is extremely knowledgeable. She is calming if you are in crisis, and present and supportive if you are going through a lengthy illness. I honestly cant recommend her highly enough. Her staff is also incredibly friendly, helpful and timely. Thank you Dr. Farah Shah!

We continued in because he had such a high spiked fever and lo and behold the place is dirty. I am hoping the physician has better bedside manner than the front office staff.

Tzahhia Coleman I have delivered at Texas Health Denton twice, and both times I had wonderful experiences. The first time was a scheduled induction, the second was a spontaneous birth where I had to get checked in through the ER. All of the staff we encountered were professional, and the nurses in L&D as well as the lactation consultants are so kind and caring. The L&D rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is decent. Im glad I got to deliver here twice, and am grateful for my experience!

Katharine Baxter I have visited this emergency department three times over the past decade, and unfortunately, each visit has been marked by rude staff and negligent care. After my most recent experience, I will never return and would advise others to go elsewhere. Yesterday, I was referred to this hospital from Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care for flu and uncontrollable vomiting. The urgent care center called ahead to inform the ER of my condition, and although I anticipated a wait, I never expected to be left repeatedly vomiting in the waiting room for nearly 5 hours without any care. During this time, I noticed several other patients, including young children and elderly people, were also left in the waiting area, becoming more ill by the hour. In all that time, I only saw one staff member check on patients one time. When I was finally triaged, the nurse was dismissive and rude, cutting me off while I tried to explain my symptoms. She refused to look at the detailed notes provided by the urgent care staff and quickly dismissed me back to the waiting room, not allowing me to fully communicate my medical history or symptoms. By hour four of vomiting uncontrollably, I began experiencing numbness in my hands, dizziness, and confusion, and I feared I might pass out. I informed the check-in desk of my worsening condition as directed by the instructions posted in the waiting area, and the nurses response was, “And…?” After another 30 more minutes, we made the decision to leave and go to a different ER, where I was immediately seen and treated with fluids due to the severity of my condition. While I might have let this experience go, the $2000+ bill for a visit where I received no treatment is unacceptable. Despite only receiving minimal triage care—perhaps 1.5 minutes spent checking my fever and heart rate—I was charged for a doctor I never even saw. I’m grateful my insurance covered the entire cost, but it’s incredibly unethical to charge patients for care they didn’t receive. A few hundred dollars for basic triage could be acceptable, but charging over two thousand for minimal service is not just outrageous—its immoral. This hospital needs to either improve their staffing and facilities to handle the patient load or begin turning away patients if they cannot properly care for them. Patients deserve fair billing for the care they receive. I won’t be returning, but I hope this feedback encourages the hospital to make necessary changes to improve patient care in the future.

Ray Stefl On 18 Feb 25 I had total knee replacement. The surgeon was great and so was the team that was involved with the surgery. My concern was an RN came to give me a treatment through my IV later that night. I felt something dripping down my arm and I pressed the button to notify the nurse. I told her something was coming out of the port and I noticed it was blood. The RN said it was not possible to be bleeding from the port. My wife went and got a nurse walking by my room. She came in and said “Oh you are bleeding and I will tell someone .” Didn’t offer to stop the bleeding and walked out. Finally the original RN came in and seemed shocked by the amount of blood in the bed and on me. Told me she was sorry, but she was sleepy because her dog ran off earlier that day and how her boyfriend was upset with her. The aide came and changed my bedding and cleaned me up. I was very upset with the lack of care from the RN. She was more concerned about her boyfriend than a patient needing help and covered in blood. Made me feel like I was a burden and her personal issues were more important than a patient needing help. The other nursing staff did a good job and the PT was awesome.

Don Doyle My daughter gave birth here and it was a fantastic experience! Not sure about the other areas but Dr McDonald, Megan at night and another nurse in when we first got on the floor. All of them were amazing! We have 9 kids and this was the best hospital we have ever used for delivery. Update: had to go the ER for my self with a bad cut on my finger from a table saw. Everyone from beginning to end was nothing but professional and gave 5 star service!!!! Jed and Austin were amazing!!! Seriously, I do not see how others have had bad experiences. The 2 interactions i have had with this hospital have been top tier!!
