Belinda Ortega This physician is greatly lacking in bedside manner. My ailing parents had to find a new doctor because of his staffs lack of attention to their needs.

Joe Casillas Dr Assi is a very professional and excellent physician. On day one to his office, he told me, " Im now your Doctor. you can call me anytime day or night." No other physician has ever told me that. He greets you well, asks how he can help you and listens to you. His staff is also very friendly and professional. I have never had a problem with his office answering or returning calls.

Jon Smith Careful who you see Julie Zuniga is not a primary care physician period and if youre old and sick run they are NOT according to Mrs. Zuniga associated with any hospital. Always monitor your meds they dont. When they had me on Clonazepam for 5 years every day and never told me it was addictive they could not refer me to a hospital because they have no affiliation. It has been absolutely atrocious and has been the worst 5 months of my life. The last time I was there they pulled 3 numbers out of the phone book told me to go to Rio Vista which is a disaster itself and when I called QIO and Zuniga called me back she said you used Clonazepam in 2005? Really? Its 2024? If youre sick and may need to go to a hospital see another doctor. They are billing for the 3 numbers but hey its not done.

Debora Wilson My parents are patients of Dr. Assi and I believe this is the worst care possible. Today my mom tried calling the office about a problem with her meds and finally had to drive over to his office because NOBODY answers the phone in that office. They, however are happy with sub standard care - I work in the medical field and I know this shouldn’t be acceptable - I think he has too many patients to actually manage their care properly and am highly encouraging them to find another PCP.

rena schell Dr. Velazquez is by far one of the most knowledgeable doctors I’ve ever met and I’m so thankful for her. I was recommended by another doctor to get my anatomy scan by her and I’m thankful I did. I was diagnosed with placenta accreta and complete placenta previa, this was absolutely terrifying for me but dr. Velasquez was so comforting, and so expirence that she made me feel safe. I’m thankful to say that because of her and her recommendations my baby and myself are both alive and doing so well!! Thank you for taking such great care of us and always being so attentive.

Sarah Harlass Dr. Velazquez is one of the most knowledgeable MD’s I know. I even followed her when she went to LC- that’s how good she is. Kind, gentle, bed side manner is out of this world, and most importantly- She actually cares. I’m a nurse and we are the toughest critics. I highly suggest making an appointment with Dr. Velazquez for her services.

Claudia Montoya I had my first appointment today. I was running late due to traffic. I called in to let them know i was running late if it was okay to still go. The receptionist said it was okay. Then, I arrived to office, so they can tell me that they can see me because Im late. That "she" (the receptionist) allows only 15 minutes. She rudely told me that I need to reschedule ny appointment. If I called initially to ask if it was okay to go in regardless i was late. Why once I got there they said the opposite? Plus, they act like as no one got my message. They should have told me over the phone that I needed to reschedule rather than wasting my time driving over there. Definitely going to ask my doctor to refer me to another specialist. Horrible customer service!

Stephanie Dominguez If I could not give them any stars I wouldnt please read this... my regular obgyn diagnosed my baby with a cycstic hygroma at 11 weeks she sent me to Dr. Maria Velasquez whom was supposed to verify a cycstic hygroma and tell me more about the condition I waited in the waiting room for 3 hrs only to get a sonogram that was literally 1 minute long...all she did basically was say "yep its a cycstic hygroma". ...she gave me no info she acted as if this prognosis was grim with no hope she measured the hygroma at 7.5mm which is very big, about the length of the baby .. so me and my husband thinking that there is no hope for my baby we decided to abort ...that is one of the options ...I believe in the quality of life and do not want to bring a baby into the world to suffer ...because a cycstic hygroma can be one of many illnesses...all she spoke about was abortion ...I went to the abortion clinic in tears about to go thru with the process. ... the Dr there whom is dr. theard (sent from God literally) told me it was a mild case he sent me to a specialist.. Dr. Feinstein ..they did the sonogram I was in there for one hour they where checking everything on the baby these people actually care! he did confirm the hygroma...but said it only measured 3.4mm!!!! A normal cycst on a developing baby is 3.0mm! I told him about the measurements dr. Maria Velasquez had given me and where she measured and she measured the wrong thing!!!she measured the amniotic sac carrying my baby from head to toe of my precious baby and it measured the exact measurement at o told him they had given me at 7.5 mm! I couldnt believe it! How many other women could this happen to or has already happened. Update now my babys chromosomes came back fine and the cystic hygroma has shrunk to 2.9mm a cycstic hygroma if nothing chromosomal can resolve them selves....I couldve aborted a perfectly healthy baby...ur supposed to be able to trust these Drs. But she proved very untrustworthy and seemed to have no drive in really wanting to take a look at the baby in the proper way... so please if u have a risky pregnancy deeply consider not going to her..

Then I tell her to cancel my appointment and she says that I have to call my VA in order to cancel.. Im guessing they are putting me as NO SHOW so they can charge a fee to the VA.. Feel sorry for the business owner that have to depend on incompetent personnel.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Special Edition I’ve been a patient of Dr. Klein for a year, he’s been treating me for multiple injuries received due to an accident. He has performed one surgery and I’m scheduled for a second. Dr. Klein has always been a professional and has always had my best interest toward my recovery. Trying to get a return call from his staff is however like pulling teeth. That would be my only complain, good thing I don’t have to depend on his staff for my care.

Angel Awful Doctor, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Waited for my appointment, nurse called my name in. Doctor saw me for 1 to 2 minutes. Did not even check me, no vitals nothing. Rude and zero communication about my fracture. Waste of time.

Patsy Cazares Today I went to the radiology department and I was very pleased with their service. I had some x-rays done and the young lady by the name of Zaria was my attendant, what an amazing young lady she was very attentive and very patient. The entire staff was amazing and I know where they get it from, this evening. I received a phone call from their supervisor Ms Maria And I understand now why the staff is the way they are, they have an awesome leader, totally pleased. With the service and with the staff

Angie I don’t like this hospital. The nurses at the front that day of my visit were rude I show up to the window and they both stare at each other to see who’s going to ask me why I’m there? What a joke they’re a joke. The PA was nice she was very knowledgeable. And to think this is where I am going to deliver my baby scares me unfortunately my OB only delivers at this hospital. Those nurses made me feel so unwelcome. Now I’m thinking they are all like that unfortunately. You kept asking for my review, here it is.

Bessie Marin I cannot express enough gratitude to the security staff for the exceptional care and attention they provided to my brother. A special thanks to Director Gomez, whose efforts truly stood out. He went above and beyond to reassure our family that my brother was in good hands, providing us with peace of mind during a stressful time.
Director Gomez’s professionalism, compassion, and clear communication were invaluable. He made sure we understood every step of the process and that my brother’s safety and well-being were the top priorities. The entire security team worked seamlessly, showing a level of dedication and kindness that is rare to find.
Thank you to Director Gomez and the entire team for your outstanding efforts. Your commitment to excellence and genuine care made all the difference, and our family is incredibly grateful!

Breanna Burgos My grandmother had surgery here very recent. And her experience was horrible. She was not roomed till 7 HOURS after her hip replacement. The nurses were so rude and not caring for her. She had to get supervisors involved for her to be treated with care and compassion. She had an entire hip replacement surgery and they hit her bed into the corner while transporting her. Made her cry. Honestly very upset about this entire situation. Never again. Choose a different hospital that has better staff.

His nurse practitioner super nice and they explained everything.
I was referred to all the specialists I need.
Best Medical Doctor.

T Porter The office staff is horrible. I always thought the purpose of a Dr and the staff is to assist you. And help medically. This DR and his stall definitely don’t do that.
I called to see about swapping my pills the dr prescribed due to it not being covered on my insurance. And the office staff acted hostile and said it was my fault I asked for that. She refused to allow me to talk with the dr stated I need to make another appointment to get a different prescription. Seems all they care about is making me pay a copay for my visit.
This is the worst dr office I highly recommend staying as far away as possible.

Norma Torres He used to provide better care, and compassion was a key aspect of his approach. Now, appointments are only with nurse practitioners, and each visit involves a different person. During our last visit with the doctor, the consultation felt rushed and careless.

Rebecca Miranda I used to love this clinic, however having to wait over an hour past our appointment to be seen while sitting in a lobby that is jam packed just doesnt sit right with me. I will be doing myself and my family a favor and finding a new pediatrician, because these wait times and the overbooking is just not it.
1 /5
Andromeda The waiting is horrible. I’ll sometimes be there for 2-3 hours. I also don’t think I’ve met a worse Dr. than Dr. Monica Hernandez. She is just lazy and makes the front office do everything. Seems she doesn’t care about her patients and wants to get over with all of them. When I get her I need to schedule an appointment all over again, since she just does things wrong. On the other side, Dr. Lorraine Mata is amazing. She’s so caring about her patients and takes her time to make sure everything is done correctly. Would recommend going with her! I love her.

Paola Garcia Great services , excellent doctors, and the offices are always available for same day appointments. The only thing is that sometimes the waiting times are extended to 3+ hours.

Jackie Robles My son has been a patient for 4 years now and this wait time is just ridiculous 3-5hrs only waiting. The clinic was pack of people. Zero organization, people standing. And the receptionists with a mad face. No one can even ask a question cus there already with a face. I love Mr Boadella his a good doctor but this all of this is just ridiculous.

8.Harmony Womens Clinic
Address: 1600 Medical Center St #109, El Paso, TX 79902
(21) Reviews Harmony Womens Clinic:
Brianna Rodriguez Would give this zero stars if I could. Normally I don’t post reviews because I know it’s difficult for some businesses, but I want to warn people about the clinic. I came in as a new patient and the staff and nurses were kind when I first checked in I was called up to the desk about four times asking about my insurance and then I was taken back for the my vitals and sent back up front to wait for room to be called then another nurse and came and got me and asked for my vitals again, but I told her I already had them done. The office also isn’t very clean and very disorganized process. Finally, I got back to the room and the doctor came in. And since it was my first time, I expected to be greeted, but she came in talking on the phone about another patient and left the door open while I was undressed from the waist down, my husband had to close the door! Complete invasion of privacy from a doctor, which I thought was unprofessional but I continued the appointment. She then began to ask me what I was here for and I mentioned I was having difficulty with my cycles and haven’t gotten my cycle in four months she preceded to say “then what are you here for” I again told her I was concern about not having my cycle. She began to ask routine questions because I had had a baby a year ago. I was in the office with my husband who began also telling her I was experiencing extreme fatigue and difficulty eating. She looked back and me and laughed and says “it doesn’t look like she has difficulty eating”. Shocked I just sat there (mind you I’m still undressed from the waist down), trying to hear what she actually said to me and even my husband was quiet because he and I couldn’t believe that she had said that. I had struggle with trying to keep the baby weight off since I had my daughter and that is the thing that broke me from the inside, and hearing it from a professional made me feel terrible inside. I should have walked out right then and there. She proceeded to exam me and comment on other parts of my body such as my legs not being shaven. After we left the office with no answer I got to the waiting room and started crying because it was the worse experience I have felt in my life and just left without checking out. Clearly the doctor isn’t considerate of peoples feelings and doesn’t do well with new patients. Was my first and my last time there..

Her staff is caring and very professional too. Highly recommend Harmony Women’s clinic.

carlos amanda (Carmanlos) Worst clinic ever. All they want to do is charge insurance and don’t remember your name after an appt. I went for one appointment and after they couldn’t remember my name I notified them I changed doctors. They kept calling telling me they needed to give me my results for lab work. I informed them I changed doctors. I then stopped answering their calls and completely ignored them. They scheduled me for an appointment on June the 6th at 10am and I called and told them I would not be able to make it due to school schedule issues. She then informed me she would be able to call and tell me my results over the phone and still charge my insurance for providing me with results. which I still did not answer or reply. I received an email at 10pm on June 10th stating the appt was completed for June 6th 2:45pm.
First of all that wasn’t my original appt. Secondly I never attended this appointment so how come I got a confirmation email. I will be in contact with my insurance about this mistake. When I tried to call the office they told me they couldn’t do anything. They are just an answering services and that they wouldn’t be back at the office until Monday. This is the most unprofessional and sketchy clinic I have ever been to. I don’t know what type of insurance scam they are trying to pull but I suggest never choosing this clinic if you are looking for a OBGYN. This is my first pregnancy and all I can say is they have no consideration for you or your child and they just want to charge your insurance. Do not get tangled up in such a untrustworthy clinic.

matthew sandoval My mother was transferred to this hospital after she had covid and pneumonia. The staff was amazing towards my mother and she mentioned so many good things about the staff that has helped her and made her feel less sad and scared! My mother would love to visit one day to say thank you to the ones that were there for her during her hard time! The only issue that my family and I didn’t appreciate was that a big nurse got up all on my mothers face! My mother said that she was telling the night shift nurse that she was in pain and the nurse was getting upset about. That’s when she got in her face and got mad at my mother. My mother told her to get out of her face and she did. As nurses it’s your job to take care of the patients and be there for them, not get all ugly when you want to! If you don’t like your job, then just quit and go work some where else!

Diane Aguirre Worst experience ever! My poor 84 year old mother, who has degenerative spine disease, sat in old plastic chairs in the waiting room and the examination room for over 3 hours. She had an appointment, but every walk-in patient was taken before her. He wrote her a referral for an eye doctor when we told him she already had one, and told us to come see him every 3 months without any explanation as to why. Office is cramped and crowded, dimly lit, and very old. He appears to be a nice man, but nothing about this visit warrants a return.

G O The worst thing about this doctor is the wait times. Every time I bring my grandfather here its always two to two and a half hour wait. I asked one of the friendlier staff employees about it and she stated that the doctor will take all walk-ins and that usually means cutting in front of people with appointments. I get the impression hes all about getting paid for the office visit. Most of the office staff is very indifferent to your needs and a lot of times are very disorganized and dont even have information that youve already provided, its really ridiculous. I just dont see how hes one of El Pasos best doctors. Hes a nice guy and has a great bedside manner and he seems very interested in your care but I think its a very disingenuous attitude. My grandfather had a swollen prostate and spleen and never really addressed the issue. Who knows, maybe hes waiting for it to get worse so he can treat it. My grandfather doesnt want to switch but I am looking for him now. Thx for reading.

Marie Casas Dr. Al ajar has been my doctor for over 14 years. He is the most amazing caring person. He will take the time to explain anything and assure you have all the answer to your questions. I would not have anyone else attending my health. The wait is worth it. There are very few doctors left like him.

Max Hidalgo My wife had an appointment and had to wait almost two hours. She finally goes in and comes out after two or three minutes. I asked why so fast . They quickly took her blood pressure and weight and asked do you want refills on medication. I asked the front desk all this time and co pay to see if she needed a refill. I was met with indifference and told this is the process. Yea but you will charge the health insurance company several hundred dollars for nothing plus my copay. No wonder health costs are rising. Pure fraud. We will never go this quack again and advise folks about these crooks.

Robert R Dr Alnajjar is a good doctor, BUT his wait times are ridiculous! Its not uncommon for me to wait two hours to see him. Totally unprofessional, in my opinion.

My 2 year old daughter was grabbed and tossed right infront of myself and his team of fellow doctors. When I called him out on the situation he could not even look me in the eye to give me a response to his inappropriate behavior and lack of professionalism. I was assigned this doctor in the children’s hospital and fired him and requested a new doctor be put on my daughters case. If you get Dr. Canales I highly suggest asking for a new pediatrician/doctor who actually likes his job and not sees your child as a pay check.

Safa Hossain Place was terrible. I went there with a referral and they recommend more home treatment before they would do anything. Additionally they pulled my medical history against my permission and started to ask and wanting to test for things completely unrelated to the issue I went in there for. Im positive these people were mechanics prior to their medical career the way they attempt to hustle patients. So ive seen two medical centers now without any treatment. The staff was unprofessional and the male doctor started doing a physical without my permission or the presence of a female nurse. If you are a female do not go here.

My mom has been with this Dr not too long and she has a arrogant attitude, doesn’t consult and doesn’t prescribe anything for the problems my mom has because you “can’t just spring it on her” as she’ll say. She needs to be fired. You can’t treat older people like this would not recommend going here.

Idhali Alonzo I began services here in April 2022 through September 2022. I signed up for the OB Prenatal package ($1750 total) since i did not have insurance. I finished paying it on July 19th 2022 but as of today, I STILL keep receiving bills stating I need to pay for my prenatal appointments when I already paid them. The main phone line on the bill’s state I need to speak to the clinic and the clinic states I need to speak to “supervisor” Jose Amaro. Multiple “messages” have been left for this supervisor but I never get a call back. Every time I call he is either not at this clinic or busy and will “get back with me.” It is completely unprofessional and frustrating that a service I ALREADY PAID FOR is still being charged to me. It is a shame Dr Romo is with this clinic because he is an excellent doctor. Would not return to this poorly administrated clinic.

TT Smiley It would be quite beneficial to either email or even text service members before their appointment. Please keep in mind that some of our Service Members are not sleeping well at night and need gentle reminders with complete addresses. I am glad I took off work to be with my husband. He only had a link that did not give him information such as address, it just continued to spin. I drove and he finally found a number. Listen...please have someone analyze the way Service Members are contacted and receive information. Please and thank you.

Brian Morrow Ridiculous. They are booked a month in advance which is understandable. I was able to fill out my sick vacation form and turn it in "5 weeks" prior to my exam. Two weeks prior they called me and said the physician wont be in that night and rescheduled me for an appointment two days later. This means they had availability sooner than what they gave me because only 2 days later compared to weeks was the first problem. I agreed and resubmited my sick vacation form. ON THE SAME-DAY they called me at 9am to tell me they have to reschedule me AGAIN!. I work a 12hr night shift so I had to adjust my sleep schedule to attend this appointment plus I had already signed TWO sick leave vacation forms. I cant just show up to work THE SAME SAY and say "oh just kidding" they moved it back again. Plus guess what they scheduled me again for 5 days later again they have availability but they choose to have poor plaining idk why this place has 4 plus stars... ontop of that the receptionist called me at 9 and asked if I had gotten a COVID test which NO ONE mentioned not even on the paper they email you said I had to get one prior too so she said thats why she was rescheduling me I said I wasnt informed she passed the phone to a coworker who then explained it was going to be an at home sleep study which doesnt make sense either why would I need a covid test is what I asked. The phone was passed back to the original receptionist who then told me a different story saying the physician wont be in thay day.

Sean Stroman Would give 0 stars if I could. My appointment was at 9am, I checked in about 8:35, multiple people came and left before I finally got up around 9:30 and asked about it. All I was doing was picking up the machine for the at home sleep study, which took all of about 10 minutes once I finally got called in. Just because were Veterans doesnt mean we dont have things to do during our day. Its not just here at the sleep center its all VA facilities. The VA has no regards for our time, we have things to be doing rather than sitting and waiting 30+ minutes after our scheduled time. Get it together.

Edward Solomon Staff was excellent. We arrived on time, processed promptly and entered waiting area. One and one half hours later, was informed that the surgery was running behind. I asked if would be another hour, then two hours, then three hours and……five hours! Absolutely nuts. Asked why they didn’t call us at home, 35 minutes drive from hospital and received no answer. My wife went home and I remained on a gurney for three more hours. Finally taken in to surgery some 6 hours later! Thankfully procedure went well. Sent to a private room several hours later, staff very nice. Next morning waited until 10:00 for breakfast that was not ordered. Next interviewed by all appropriate staff and waited two hours to get hospital doctors orders to leave, finally my nurse helped me dress, remove IV and took me downstairs to process out. Finally left at 12:30.

Lisa Lawson The staff and nurses and even the doctor were great! They had great attitudes and didnt make me feel as if I were a burden. On the other hand of that once completed they gave me the paperwork didnt explain the findings didnt tell me my next steps and hustled me out the door. I left not knowing what was going on. And from what I did pick up on and the paperwork they gave me said two completely different things.

Naomi They literally googled my condition in front of me. And decided to treat me like a drug addict. I am a CURT ( Compassionate Use Program for Cannabis ). REGISTERED with the state of Texas! Also, they DO NOT check medical records, I told every person I had a hysterectomy in 2019, the RN then used checking to see if I’m pregnant to pee test me. I would like to remind patients that we can report staff to their respective boards when they do things like, speak on you, as a patient within earshot distance to the whole ER about your case.
Update: their compliance phone number is disconnected. So if you want to report staff for ethical reasons, they make it incredibly difficult.
Update: The number y’all suggested is the disconnect one.

Morgan H Experience with Doctor Cox was horrible. He is a liar after he lied about leaving a Gallstine in me. After I went to the ER prior to my follow up and after the ER called him about my remaining gallstone, he lied to me at my appointment with him saying it was a "clasp". I have tried reporting him to the Texas Medical Board even though I have all my paper work stating what was going on with me and sent them copies. I ended up going to a different hospital because this doctor lied to me. IF anyone ends up with this doctor, please record your conversations with this doctor and get EVERYTHING in writing on diagnosis. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!!! I dont understand why he is still practicing.

Juan Sierra From the first day i met Dr. Cox he gave me the impression that he was a one of a kind Dr and surgeon. He has guided me through the journey up until my surgery which he handled with care and professionalism. I like to say he is an angel sent from heaven because he has helped me heal from diverticulitis as well as removed my infected part of the sigmoid colon. Other than the Dr being amazing and caring, his staff doesnt stay far behind. Melissa and Lilly have been two of the most amazing people in his office. If anyone is looking for a good surgeon and staff this is the place to go and get healed. Depending on your surgery. Thank you for everything Dr. Cox. From the bottom of my heart.

This is the first time in years that I have felt heard and taken care of by medical professionals. Dr. Cox is kind and very professional and the office staff, I even told Dr. Cox that they are truly amazing. I actually hate going to doctors visits based on the staff most of the time but these amazing beautiful ladies made me feel so taken care of. I am beyond grateful

Tina Rascon I really dont understand the reason for the negative reviews based on my personal experience. Dr. Cox was incredibly kind and professional during my visit, and his office staff was super friendly and helpful. I, like the previous poster, was skeptical regarding my visit here; however, Im glad my PCP referred me to this office/doctor. The office waiting area is also cozy and appealing. Thank you to everyone at this office for providing me with compassionate, professional care during a stressful time (in ruling out whether I have lymphoma or not). My mom, who accompanied me for support, also wholeheartedly agrees with my above statements.

Vivian Tia This experience at Sierra has been horrendous. My grandfather was misdiagnosed and sent home. Upon return having to wait an hour to receive pain medication on what upon intake was documented as a 10/10 pain! Comments from staff like "No one told me he was diabetic from an RN and CNA" when asking what his blood sugars readings were. Then having a procedure done with what we later found out was done without Cardiac Clearance because not one nurse "knew" there was a cardiac history. Which I figured youd know because it was mentioned a numerous amount of times. If you didnt looking at a chart, medications or opening your mouth and asking also helps!! Leading to delay in surgery which was not only cancelled but rescheduled and cancelled 3 times the next day to only be cancelled in the end again. Making that 4 times!!!! NP Thelma Diaz with horrible bedside manner. Could not give us and answer on a reschedule besides an " I dont know" who came in rolling her eyes and saying if we had an issue with the reschedule we could call whoever we wanted to complain. Then to top it off we had a surgeon Dr Derrick Cox who is beyond rude and unprofessional for not only never get once showing his face throughout the matter although he was the consulted surgeon on the case but for not once bothering to explain why the surgery was constantly being delayed. He then on a very rude phone call then blamed the Sierra staff for the surgery being delayed because the staff was incompetent! Great way to show that you have a great team if even your surgeon says that about your hospital but still has the decency to trust these nurses with his patients! Me and my family have never had anything bad to say up until now and is very disappointing! Cannot wait to get out of here!!!

I got here to the hospital around 2:30 and I have been sitting here in the hallway because they are no rooms and it is now 8 PM. The doctors are not the kindest either… Literally the worst hospital I’ve been in El Paso and I have lived here my whole life. I brought my two-year-old in and it has been the worst Experience… Please, if there is any Mom ‘s and Dad’s out there, do not bring your child here. Also it was disgustingly dirty. The only thing that we wanted to leave this hospital was because emergency room took like 7 hours to have our room approval and I don’t know if it was because Sunday night or it’s always like that.
Also many residents coming to ask the same thing over and over.
Surgery for my daughter went well the surgeon and team were profesional and explained everything they make sure I understood the process.
Anesthesiologist made me calm about this surgery and explain me.
Social worker was kind.

kk clouds The nurses on the 9th floor were amazing. They were quick to respond to any needs, they ensured I had a way to pump and store and they gave as much info as they could.
My infant broke a bone. I asked for over 3/4 hours for pain meds and all the staff kept saying they would ask. They then decided doing a closed reduction on his leg would be OK without pain meds and still refused to give any after. They were instead too focused removing blood from my son for blood work for cps. As if simple tylenol wouldnt show. They also gave 24 xrays, moving him all around, having the whole floor coming by his room due to his screams before any pain medication was finally offered.
I was not given any clear instructions on how to care for the splint, the limitations for my son in regards to his activity. I was originally told "its fine if the splint falls, we are casting it" only to be told the cast isnt needed but the same splint could be used to fix his leg. I rose concerns about the durability of the splint but was given none until I went for the follow up a week later. Only then was I given information for his splint and finally got all my questions answered.
The front desk/reception had a lady by the name brenda. She was so upset that we had visitors. She continually berated visitors, refused entry to dad & mom and was rude to everyone. I guess forcing her off her phone was too much. My grandparents, in laws, parents, siblings and I were all given the same treatment. I can only imagine all the other patients too but they cant speak up as they have to deal with her on a long term bases. It took talking to 2 supervisors before she finally had a change in attitude.

The third time a staff member walked in was to give her , her breakfast and I told her ( now me being upset and irritated ) she’s dead how is she suppose to eat that . None of them had a clue that she had passed away so disrespectful and very very unprofessional especially when a family is mourning the loss of a loved one. Horrible horrible hospital not only that back in December they had send her with the wrong medication. Please don’t take your loved ones here .

Liza Pena The only reason why I’m giving this hospital 5 stars is because of this nurse, and I’ll state as to why in a bit. . I was there at 2pm til 3am in the morning .. 13hrs!! The wait was ridiculous and every time someone would ask how much longer they would say they didn’t know cause they didn’t have beds “available.” I kept over hearing people saying they had been there for 6Hrs, 11hrs, 12hrs, ISANE!! Out of all the nurses that work that day when I was there from 2 PM till 3 AM this nurse right here was very attentive to everyone. She was very kind very respectful.. This gentleman that you see right here with this nurse was there before I got there. Around 6pm this gentleman asked if he could just get discharged because he wasn’t being attended the way he should had been, They told him he couldn’t leave, so he ask one of the other nurses if she could give him some food cause he was very hungry. She said yes, but didn’t bring him anything. 2 hrs later he ask for food and this time she brought it to him and left it on the chair next to him and he said he needed help, she just walked away. This kind nurse that you see in this photo asked him why he hadn’t eaten and he replied to her saying due to him having Parkinson’s he couldn’t feed himself. So she genuinely offered to help him eat. The waiting was horrible , but seeing this nurse be a nurse really warmed my heart. Thank you for being a wonderful nurse.

Trinity Oba I found this place from my insurance website. Scheduled an appointment, first one was great. Second one they wanted me to do a test due to a questionnaire I filled out. However, the lady giving me the test only spoke spanish and they didn’t want to bring someone out that could explain why I needed this test done in the first place. We kept asking for someone that spoke english so they could explain why I needed this test, but the worker gave some excuse. I had my grandma (who speaks spanish) to translate but she was furious due to the fact that translating medical terms from spanish to english is difficult and we both thought it was ridiculous.
The next story, I was called a few months back to confirm an appointment that I had which is normal, fine wasn’t told anything new. I go in at around 8ish, I believe, to sign in. They call my name to tell me that they no longer accepted my insurance and that I had to pay out of pocket for this appointment. I was never informed of this over the phone when I confirmed the appointment. Had I known about this I would’ve cancelled it.
Only giving this place two stars because of Ms. Gamboa. She is the most caring doctor I’ve ever had and made me feel comfortable despite my nervousness.
Don’t come here if you can help it.

Melissa S This “hospital” needs to be investigated by the state. Medical power of attorney and HIPPA waivers from patient for family communication are ignored. Medical history of patient is ignored. Attempts to give a list of current medications and history of patient ARE IGNORED. How are some of these doctors be allowed to practice??? Nurses and staff are helpful, but doctors need to be accountable to SOMEONE. Doctors only want to deal with incapacitated, medically vulnerable patients that can’t recall conversations. DOCTORS here avoid taking to family at all costs. How can our tax dollars go to funding this????? Where is the medical director? Who is managing this place???

David Jones I tried to get a workplace accommodation, my experience with Texas Tech psychiatry was disappointing and disheartening. Texas Tech Psychiatry refused to issue a FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and denied me, a disabled person, a second opinion, speaks volumes about the lack of compassion and professionalism in their approach to patient care.
Despite presenting thorough documentation and medical history outlining the need for FMLA accommodations, Texas Tech dismissed my request without due consideration, leaving me to be terminated from employment due to my own serious disabilities.
In addition to their dismissive attitude, their refusal to engage in open dialogue and explore alternative solutions reflects a fundamental lack of commitment to the Hippocratic Oath and the principles of medical ethics. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, irrespective of their medical history or perceived level of disability. By denying me the basic rights afforded to individuals seeking medical assistance, Texas Tech failed to uphold the core of their profession and caused me harm rather than healing.
In conclusion, my experience with Texas Tech psychiatry has been nothing short of disheartening. Their refusal to issue FMLA and denial of a second opinion shows a troubling trend of indifference and neglect within the mental health care system. As a former patient, I ask that they reevaluate their approach to patient care and prioritize compassion and empathy in their practice. I cannot recommend their services to those in need of genuine support and understanding.

Jayden Lewin The "psychiatrist" I saw spent the entire apointment googling things on his phone and reading me articles. He seemed to contradict himself the entire time and switch between me staying on my meds and getting off them completely. Their "gradual" method to get me off my medications was to cut my dose in half for a week and then stop cold turkey.
I called my primary care provider after this appt. to switch to a new psychiatrist and they informed me that not only did they did not have a record of the doctor I saw being at this location but he is also NOT A PSYCHIATRIST.. he works in internal medicine.

Only reason I return is because the doctors are AMAZING! it’s to bad they are allowed to be rude upfront that’s the face of the practice. I wonder how bad retention is due to them. Upper management needs to start auditing the calls and seeing the way they greet people (or don’t) so they can correct them.

Victor Gomez Pat saw my son and knew exactly what was wrong! She is really awesome at what she does and I’m so happy she works here. Give her a raise! She’s my family’s superhero! I’d give five stars however, there is this one nurse who is super rude. I don’t know her name but she has a very nasty attitude when it came to weighing in my son. She seemed bothered when it was time to check his vitals as well. She introduced herself but I cannot remember her name. I think it started with a J? Y’all have to do something about her. It’s not a good experience with her.

Robert Truax The doctor we saw was great. However, the nurses were rude and uncaring with my newborn daughter. All of the paperwork that was given to us to in process her was generic and overly complicated. Sadly we had to find a different pediatrician due to our experience.

Linda Sanchez I’ve been a patient of Dr. Acosta since December 2022, and my VSG in September 2023 was a smooth journey from start to finish. Dr. Acosta and his team provided thorough education, comprehensive pre-surgery tests, and excellent support. My surgery went perfectly, and the recovery was smooth. Dr. Acosta, Shelby, Kathy, and Xochitl played a crucial role in my weight loss journey, providing motivation and support. I highly recommend Dr. Acosta and his team—they exceeded my expectations!

Angie Cabrera No one but Kathy and a male nurse can even pretend you are important, everyone seems to be waiting for a more important patient. I got all test done back in Sept and am still getting asked when and where I got all my test done, no one is taking it down to follow up with them instead I think the front office is looking for me to become a carrier and pick up the physical results and drive it to them. When I call I am asked a bunch of questions placed on hold only to be asked more questions. VERY unprofessional looking for another doctor because I cant with their front staff anymore.

Adriana Triste This place is the WORST!!!!! They NEVER answer their phones. I had my records transferred from Texas as well as a referral sent from my PCP. When I finally got someone on the phone to see what was taking so long to schedule me they said that they have no records and no referral. I know for a fact that they received my records because they called to tell me that they received them two months ago. Now suddenly my records are lost!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE!! This place is a joke.

Mary Hardesty Worst unprofessional experience after I cancelled my surgery 1 week prior due to personal issues. Since I could not explain my reasoning to Dr Lara’s expectations and somehow it was my fault a lady with breadt cancer was not going to get her surgery due to mine it had me wait 5 months to tell me he was not taking my case. Actually his nurse informed me that del sol and lad palmas would not take my case. Keep in mind all was approved and just had to pay the 700 dollars again that I paid the first time. And it is not like he lost money since he called that lady on Friday after he talked to me and was able to do her surgery. First of all Hippa violation, I really could care less about his other patients. I was his patient at the time and instead of talking or working with me he scolded me, then grounded me and then told me in nicer words to f off.

Sharon Nelson If I could give this place no stars, I would.
I am borderline on qualifying for bariatric surgery. I self-referred and attended the informational seminar in Las Cruces. I told the nurse giving the seminar that I was on the fence and hadnt really decided whether I was ready to make the commitment to bariatric surgery. She told me to go ahead and make the initial appointment to see a surgeon in El Paso, which I did, expecting that I would get billed for a specialist visit; imagine my surprise when my insurance was billed over $1700, my portion amounting to over $300. The high cost of the visit and the fact that it was more than a "specialist visit" was never communicated to me prior to receiving the bill weeks after the appointment.
That wasnt even the worst part. During the visit at the center in El Paso, the nutritionist met privately with me and told me that I had not listed enough attempts on my questionnaire to qualify for insurance to pay for the visit, and that I should go ahead and just make something up, she wouldnt tell anyone. My husband was in the room at the time and neither one of us could believe that she said what she did!
The whole experience reminded me of visiting a used car lot and being subjected to high-pressure sales tactics. Needless to say, I will not pursue treatment at this facility.

Andrea Caldera Delivered my baby girl on Jan 6, 25 and I had the best delivery experience. The nurses were fantastic, very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. Labor and delivery, and post care was relaxing , the room was beautiful overlooking the mountains. Would totally recommend delivering at Providence Transmountain. I live off Hunter, but the drive there and back was what I needed to mentally prepare my thoughts.

Jimmy Moody If you or a loved one needs a knee replacement, then Dr. Torres/surgeon + Dr. Katy Ross/physical therapist is the winning combo!
My 70+ years-old mother that acts 40, needed a total knee replacement in summer 2024. Dr. Torres exceeded expectations in outcomes and bedside manner. By the time my mom made it to outpatient therapy 3 wks after her surgery, her range of motion was spectacular, leg strength was returning and was stable on a walker.
Dr. Katy Carson/PT took over with her expert knowledge as an orthopedic specialist and supported my mom’s progress back to walking without support up/down stairs, resuming her many responsibilities in the community and booked a visit to New York…within 5 months of surgery!
Kudos, from the registration clerk to the outpatient team that rung the bell celebrating my mom’s graduation from outpatient therapy.
And, although my mom doesn’t have a Google reviews page— you get a 6-star rating mom! Your perseverance and determination to live a life of passion, vigor and love is inspiring! Onward…

Jax kat My grandmother had surgery (stent for her heart pacemaker) and was rushed to be discharged the next day against her wishes and while still coming off anesthesia she was not coherent at the time due to the effect of the surgery medication and was unable to really speak up for herself. Her Medicare said she had the right to refuse discharge but she said a man practically bullied her out to be discharged, unfortunately at the time no one was there to advocate for her and I believe the staff took advantage of that opportunity to rush her out the door while she wasnt that coherent.

Ray Houston Providence Transmountain Hospital.
The hospital is nice and clean. However when it comes to the nursing staff, the service is very poor. Many of the young nurses in the surgery area did not appear to have empathy for the patients. They were not friendly, attentive or caring.
What was suppose to be a 30 to 45 minute surgery took 12 hours. There appeared to be with issues with the insurance company and the hospital management. I thought the insurance company had approved all procedures prior to the surgery.
The group of doctors involved in my surgery were all friendly and informative regarding my procedure.
Very unhappy patient.

KeriSu McDaniel Our experience upon arrival was wonderful! Everyone very attentive while there was an emergency. We were transferred from Ruidoso NM via ambulance. My only complaint at that time was the room and bathroom was not well cleaned and has remained that way throughout. Since the emergent is resolved, the aftercare has been moderate. We are getting conflicting information between the doctors residents and nursing staff. And that does not appear to be getting better. I am a retired vocational nurse in internal medicine clinic of 30 years. I do understand the problems that clinicians and nurses face, however, we need information not just orders. If it were not for this and the cleanliness I would have given an excellent rating.
I feel everyone is knowledgeable and caring, just all need to get on the same page.

Virginia Mata My dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday around 8:30 pm. We are experiencing a nightmare. The nurses assisting my dad from floor 1 are the worst. I had to complain because the lack of professionalism assisting him for his needs and technically the nurse invite us to leave and go home. My dad has not eaten since we got here. It has been already 14 hours. I gave them the list of the doctors he sees and they did not call them. They wrongly said that my dads cardiologist doesnt come here but she was wrong. I had to call personally my dads primary doctor for help.

Laura Martinez We had the worse experience ever. My daughter has multiple chronic illnesses and we unfortunately have had to visit numerous hospitals since her diagnosis. We arrived at the hospital shortly before 5am with my daughter in extreme pain, and GI issues. Dr. Lopez at the ER had the worse beside manner and was even visibly/vocally annoyed that she could not provide a stool sample. She was told she would be admitted at 9 a.m. After that she was pretty much neglected for hours even after she pleaded for pain relief. It took about 5 hours for any pain meds and she was told they put her on NPO even though a urologist had briefly seen her and stated he did not see a reason for surgery. When asked why she was NPO, they would say her Dr. placed her on NPO. Although her Dr has stated otherwise. When she finally broke down due to being denied fluids and pain killers, an ER nurse (who was not her nurse) named Bianca rudely, aggressively and unprofessionally began to tell her that she is not their only patient and that there were other patients that have been there longer than her, she then aggressively was telling her to sign an ADA form and leave. As my daughters nurse walked in to try to calm her down, Bianca continued to walk down the hallway loudly mocking and making fun of my daughters break down. My daughter finally received pain meds and I requested an AOD, which they sent the charge nurse instead. We explained the situation to him and still requested an AOD. Hours went by and I again approached the charge nurse requested at least ice chips for my daughter since she had been there over 12 hours and it was clearly passed any surgery hours. He finally allowed her to have about a quarter cup of ice chips and an AOD named Uli finally addressed us. We explained everything from the beginning to that point. He assured us he would push the complaint up and managed to get her juice and a room just so that she could be placed on NPO as soon as she got to the room. He assured us that he would check on her during the night to make things right and he NEVER returned. My daughter continued to request her home meds which are about 15 meds throughout the day. The nurses would just say that they had to check on the orders. My husband called the hospital and spoke to a male charge nurse named Luis on that floor explaining that it had been 2 days and that she had not received any home meds. My husband was asking for answers as to why it has taken so long and requesting someone above the charge nurse. The charge nurse ended up hanging up on my husband and my daughter still did not receive her home meds until the next morning. Nobody ever followed up on the complaints until my daughter went on Google and left a review. A lady went in my daughters room and stated that she was never made aware of any of the complaints and that that was the first she heard of anything (the google review). Even then my daughter was told to focus on the nurses that do good but nothing was mentioned about addressing Dr. Lopez or the so called nurse Bianca or the medication issues. By looking at the other reviews, we are not the only ones addressing concerns about Dr. Lopez. He is obviously still at it. We will never return to that hospital.

nena rodriguez I am extremely disappointed with the medical assistants at Dr. Radu Ciubuc’s office. They are never in the office, and it’s nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. On the rare occasion someone does, their attitude is unprofessional and dismissive. The customer service is abysmal—they seem completely uninterested in helping patients and don’t know what they’re doing or talking about. It’s clear they lack the basic knowledge and skills needed to provide proper support. This office needs serious improvement in staffing and training. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity.

Laura Letty Rubalcaba Hello new patients: I do not recommend this medical facility. The Dr.s are great. Unfortunately the office personal are not. The office manager needs to have empathy with patients. She never cracks a smile and seems to get bothered when you need some assistance with scripts. Office personal never goes the extra step to get things done. When you call its always answered by an answering machine. They never return the calls. Office is closed on Fridays so you need to wait until after theweekend. Good luck to new patients. Im done!!!!!

Elisa Sierra My mother was admitted for pain control and possible transverse myelitis. During her stay they discovered 4 fractured vertebrae. They attempted a fast improper discharge. At which point an appeal with Acentra Health who run compliance for Medicare. She was threatened by two different staff members on Saturday that they would not help her or provide her care anymore since they printed out the paperwork. The “case manager” threatened that she would be fully responsible for the bill in the event that appeal is denied which again is a lie. Then today I had to rush over to the hospital because the nurse was again pushing discharge prior to the appeal decision scaring my mom. I informed the nurse Sarys that discharge was not to be discussed until the appeal discussion was made and she pulled attitude and told me she hoped my day got better. Really? Your staff is literally violating CMS guidelines and this is the response? Do better.

Kenny Slater My father was transferred from another hospital on a Monday night. After three days in the hospital they finally removed the fluid he had in his chest preventing him breath breathing correctly. Was told be several doctors on the forth day he could be discharged with continued outpatient care. Its almost 5 ockolck in the evening and still no doctor to give final say on discharge. Its seems this hospital tries to keep you as long as possible to get more money from insurances. If no doctors shows up soon, we will take my father out and follow-up with his doctor back home. Staff were good and explained what was needed but slow in getting the information from attending doctors.

Some Girl Trust me on this and dont go to this hospital. Im going to a different hospital next time. Providence Sierra is obnoxious !! Some people there are obnoxious!! they make a person mad with their ugly attitude especially when you acted calm and nice the entire time and there is no reason for them to be obnoxious . they also dont help you bathe . I had that problem at the Providence before . I was in so much pain and I could not walk AT ALL yet they never helped me to take a shower or even said anything about it and are we as patients supposed to beg . Thats ridiculous..if you are in the hospital for several days then you need to shower and for them to actually help you if you need help in that way and that was a different time when I was there for close to a week . they put incorrect info on discharge paperwork . They even gave me incorrect antibiotics while I was in the hospital . then they took me off it and said there was a mistake and that it got tainted when they were testing me for that . they claimed gram positive and had me on alot of vacamycin and then they took me off it saying they made a mistake and told me I did not have gram positive to begin with ...yet they had already given me A LOT of that antibiotic before they realized their mistake ..They also dont send your medication to Walgreens after they said they would, and your forced to go back to the hospital to ask them to send the medication order to Walgreens.!! they also dont test you for what you need testing for when you go there even though your doctor office has you go to the hospital for a specific reason .. some people act rude and act like a holes . they literally rush you up out of the bed as if you are a race horse instead of waiting outside the room ...instead of being polite and waiting outside your room then they get all up in your face and act very rude and they dont act right . They Stand in your face as if they are wanna be cops instead of simply waiting literally a mere 2 minutes for you to get up . Thats upsetting and extremely unprofessional. Acting like that for no reason ..its El Paso tx so alot of people dont act right or do things correct at medical offices even causing you to wait an entire month to go to physical therapy simply because they did not do their job and fax the order to your insurance ... stuff like that, that is serious mistakes . you wonder whats going on and whats the problem and its a fault on their end and not your fault at all

Rita Vasquez I was transferred from another hospital to here and from the gecko I was greeted by RN Linda. She make sure I was comfortable and gave me medication on time. RN Linda was nice and reassured me that everything is going to be OK. The second night I had RN Ricardo and tech Edgar who were extremely professional and friendly. On the second, night I was able to finally shower and tech Edgar made sure I had everything I needed for my shower. The night before I had my surgery ,tech Gabbi, shared that she too also went thru the same procedure and I was in good hands with surgeon Crecca. To RN Linda and Ricardo and techs Gabbi and Edgar, I cannot express how thankful I am for all of you.
The hospital itself could use a little updates with its machines and a little pluming maintenance done. But over all it was a okay hospital.

P B Again, presented for an appointment only to be told "they tried to get a hold of you yesterday" to cancel my appointment. Untrue, because of work, I always have my phone on and there were no missed calls nor any messages canceling the appointment. No consideration for my time whatsoever. I even got an alert on my phone this morning asking me to check in as it was "time for my appointment". And I JUST got notification that my appointment was being canceled, 2 hours after the appointment.

BIG SM1LING_ (MUTE.) The staff is absolutely terrible. Me and my mom went to go get her cast redone because they did it bad. The first time were the pain was so unbearable. They made us wait one hour and when they brought us in, they lied to her and said she could have no one come in with her Moments later they were going to takeoff her cast and called her overly dramatic because it cut her two times and when my mom asked for someone else, the nurse went to the doctor and said it was her fault because she can’t do her job right when it’s clearly her fault not only that my mother is kind and wonderful and lashed out at her because she was nervous because she was cut twice. I do not recommend this place to be honest. I am willing to sue.

Erica Salas If I could give a 0 I would...I showed up for my appointment 6 min. late, the receptionist decided to ignore my check in and assist 3 other patients...fine no problem. I even went up there at exactly 315 since other receptionists showed up to the front desk and I asked them if I had done the right thing...and they both said yes. So I sat down. Well...I get called at 320 and Martha C. tells me that i showed up after the 15 minutes they allow patients to run late. I ask for the office manager and guess what? She is gone for the day...surprise, surprise. Needless to say, I just left. Oh and they said that since i no showed the dr. had already left for the day. So, heads up and keep in mind that if you show up and they dont call you its your fault...you shouldve known better...you should know how their office works, policies, procedures, scrubs to wear that day and their systems as if you worked there.
