Audrey Urrutia Dr. Becker, Cassie, Ann and the ICU staff were so phenomenal during my husbands stay here at UT Health Jacksonville. Every nursing staff explained in detail what was going on and made sure we understand. Not only did they make sure he was well taking care of they made sure I too as a guest had everything I needed. Everyone played a part in SAVING my husband and for that I am forever thankful! ICU TEAM, know that yall will always hold a special place in our heart! THANK YOU!

why why Its not even worth a start to me and my family -10* after my dad got taken to this hospital I told my sister he would never get out of this hospital alive . I wish he would have been taken to mother Frances hospital who we have dealt with for years and has given us great services . Also when we got referred to a DR. There who didnt know what he was doing with a broken wrist, is just a shame money thrown down the drain . ,but thanks to one of the childrens hospitals in Dallas who did surgery on my daughter hand from a Dr. In U.T who didnt know squat . Theyre just negligence . And NO I DONT CARED TO HEAR FROM YALL U.T. EITHER KEEP YOUR WORDS TO YALLS SELF

Lisa It was the best ER experience weve ever had! Between 5 kids and the 2 of us, weve had our share of emergencies throughout the years, and by FAR, this was the easiest, cleanest, and most pleasant hospital weve visited! Nurses and staff were outstanding! Thank you guys for everything. Way to go UT Health!!!

Emily Keenan I received wonderful care at UT Health in Jacksonville. I had a tonsillectomy to help fix my severe obstructive sleep apnea. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and informative. I was treated by nurses, surgical assistants, anesthesiologist, and surgeons. Not only did they take great care of me but my family member that drove me to and from was also welcomed and offered refreshments and asked if they needed anything to make them more comfortable, they even offered him a warm blanket as it was a little chilly for him in my room. I was discharged the same day as my procedure, everything moved along as scheduled and I did not have to spend long periods of time waiting or worrying. If I have to receive any other medical care I would take comfort in knowing I was receiving care at this location.

Maria Fleming I had a wonderful dr. However my anastesiaoligist was abusive and angry. Very unprofessional. I dont know but he came in angry. He was ranting about where they put my Ive in and attempted to move it. The nurse that originally put the Ive in seen she couldnt put it in my hand because it would blow. So he tried to it blew. It infuriated him and he slammed the mask on my face and screamed breath. I did. When I woke up the Iv was where the nurse originally put it. After waking up my pain was so severe that I couldnt cope. My Dr asked do you want more pain meds or a blocker . I requested a block. Again he was furious and when you do this procedure its required that you use a ultrasound to guide the needle to prevent paralysis.. he gave me the block without the ultrasound. I dont understand what happened to him to make him so angry coming in and I also understand that you have bruising after surgery but I have the perfect bruising and not in my surgical spot its a perfect hand print. Ive never ever had such a horrible experience. My family also stated when the surgical nurse came back they could tell she was upset. I hope Noone else has had to experience such horror. I was already scared and it wasnt without reason. Again my Dr was great. Beware of the anastesialogist he needs a new profession

They are very efficient. The food is Tasty and Nourishing. The Hospital is clean and Tidy. The people are kind and understanding. As well as polite and all , I feel, are good at their respective jobs. They have made me feel like a Princess .

Stella Larson Everyone from the ER personnel, nurses, doctors, dietary, etc, are so kind and helpful. As an inpatient, every single person that came into my room, asked me if there was anything else they could help me with, before they left. This is the best hospital I have ever stayed at. Excellent care!

Brandon Evans This hospital has the worst er doctors around. During the covid pandemic I caught it. Went to this er department short of breath body aches and fever 2 times. The gave me an inhaler both times and the second time I was told good luck. LITTERLY!!! Do not send your loved ones here. There are plenty of horror stories of this place. Most recently was a man with every sign of a stroke and they were going to discharge him. But at the last minute he was care flighted to tyler.

Everyones least favorite procedure. (I think) The entire experience was quick and painless. Dr. Gonzalez made me feel at ease throughout. Hes such a professional. In summary, the entire team at Lavaca Medical Center made the day a positive experience.

Carolyn Ebert My husband was seen in the ER yesterday & had great service from the front desk staff, nurses, med techs, & Dr.Robert Sanders who was a flight surgeon from NASA. He & his nurse Melissa Davis RN coordinated with his Dr. at Methodist Clear Lake to get him transferred to the ICU there. Lavaca County Ambulance transferred him safely to Methodist Clear Lake & the Paramedic Chris Rameriz called me to let me know they arrived safely. Marty Kiel was the other EMT who drive the ambulance. I truly appreciate all these people who made a stressful situation much easier. My husband is doing well today & will be transfered out of ICU today to the floor. Thanks again.

Melissa Garcia A few great doctors, BUT otherwise this place is a joke! I came in twice for severe burning in my stomach to be sent home with "acid reflux" and then ended up in the back of an ambulance and in emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix with gangrene! Decided to give them another chance, took my daughter in for some issues and was asked who we wanted to be referred to?!? Isnt that what we go to a doctor for, to get a solution or a referral? p.s. the x-ray tech my daughter had was awesome and the nurses at the clinic are super sweet!

Jasmine Steemer Okay so i bring my daughter to get seen at their emergency room and the nursing having conversations not about the care of resident but talking about them. They are very rude, and have very bad patient doctor conversation. They honestly made me feel like it was my fault my daughter was going through her pain. I will not be bringing her back if i could help it.

Bell Latrese (Prana Chi) Great people! The staff were great in all areas! Housekeeping, cooks, nurses, techs, doctors! It saddened me to know this hospital lost some of the funding it had so they are working with limited care capabilities compared to other hospitals. They definitely deserve more funding. However, they cared for my daughter who had severe asthma very well.

KatieRei During my spontaneous (had a seizure) visit to the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, I was instantly greeted with such warm and welcoming employees who were waiting on guests. They were so sweet and professional with me, it truly felt as though they genuinely cared about me and what they do. Everyone I saw was incredibly patient with me and gave me detailed explanations every step of the way, whilst checking in with me to see if I had any questions or concerns that would require further explanations. Every step of the way they would check in on me, to confirm that everything was okay and to see how my health was progressing. The environment of the establishment was inviting and easy on the eyes. I did not feel as if I was staying in a cold, sterile, white Hospital room; but instead a colorful and inviting room, where they treat you as family. I received five different services during my stay at Memorial Hospital. I was first put on a saline drip after getting my blood drawn for testing. During this the staff member was incredibly sympathetic to my plight against needle injection and not once held me in disdain or grow impatient of me. I was then brought to get a CAT scan and have a chest X-Ray where they made sure to accommodate me physical needs as during the time I needed to be wheeled around places. Lastly I experienced for the first time an EKG (electrocardiogram). At first I was incredibly nervous about this experience, but my nurse was incredibly supportive and delicate about the whole situation. All in all, I would definitely recommend visiting the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital if a situation ever arises where you require professional medical care. Also to nurse Jesse, youre amazing thank you

Tabitha Skinner My daughter was in the ER tonight for a brown recluse bite. Dr Jones and the nursing staff was amazing and attentive! They all made her feel very comfortable even when she was nervous having a male Dr and nurse because of the location of the bite. There was very little wait time and she was taken care of and on her way home quickly. It was the absolute BEST experience we have ever had for an ER visit or even a Dr visit! Thank you so much!!

Don Cotten I have unfortunately had to be in the hospital a number of times over the last four years. Baylor Scott and White has gone out of their way to look out for my every need. The nurses, the techs, and each and everyone who entered my room went above and beyond to see that my every need was met and the nurses learned that I liked the coffee they had at the nurses station and kept me supplied with hot coffee. It is by far the most caring hospital I have ever been in.

Darius Evans On Monday, February 10, 2025, I experienced a significant fall while visiting a car dealership. The moment I hit the ground, I felt an intense, jarring pain and quickly realized I was unable to stand up. My knee began to swell dramatically, creating an alarming bulge that left me filled with anxiety and confusion. Not knowing the full extent of my injury, I immediately called my mom, frantic and in need of help. I asked her to take me to the emergency room. We arrived at Baylor Scott & White Fort Worth, where the staff greeted us warmly despite the chaos of the ER. They were incredibly attentive, doing their best to ensure I was comfortable while I waited to be seen. The discomfort was overwhelming, and I quickly realized that the pain medication they administered wasn’t alleviating my agony as I had hoped. After a series of X-rays and CT scans that felt like an eternity, the doctors delivered the verdict: I had fractured my femur. The news hit me hard, but I also felt a sense of relief to finally know what was wrong. The following day, I was wheeled into the operating room, where the surgical team worked diligently to repair the damage. When I woke up from the anesthesia, the pain that had tormented me was gone. It was an incredible feeling to be completely pain-free for the first time since my fall, and it brought me a sense of hope as I began my recovery journey.

Casandra Michelle I had my daughter here on 2/24/2025 and this being my first delivery I was very nervous, the staff here from the very beginning were understanding and helped me feel at ease! They made sure I understood everything that was being said and explained it all to me and my partner. I loved my Labor and Delivery Nurse! She was amazing as well as the Doctors. My night nurses that came in to check on me and baby were amazing as well and helped me feel at ease the first nights as a new mom.

Deborah McGowan My experience was good, the staff was very nice. The only thing I didnt like was that I was not offered a place to relax for 3 hours while I waited for the contrast to go through my body. I just had a hip replacement and suffered a slip and fall which made sitting very uncomfortable. I am walking with a walker. I asked if there was a recliner anywhere in the hospital that i could wait and was told no and was ushered back into the waiting area of radiology. I could not go home because we traveled from Dallas. I then asked my husband to get the wooden chair from a table that was there and i put my legs up on the chair. I had my own seat pillow i broght from home. After my scan, Justin had me to wait and relax in a private room which had a recliner and an extra chair that my husband could have sat in. I thought there was not any recliners available in the hospital. We finished with my procedure. Was walked back to the lobby and I went home.

Connie Scroggins Got to the ER at 5pm. There were several people there but they took me right back and expedited a bunch of tests. We were done with tests in about an hour (blood, urine, CTx2, EKG and X-rays.) Then we waited for two hours for the test results to be delivered to the doctor and then 6 more hours before the Dr came in to talk to me. People came and went and we were still there. The nurses all told us separately that Dr Ferguson “goes on his own time.” So 6 hours we wasted just waiting for him. Stephanie, the nurse was phenomenal!! I could have driven to Houston, seen the dr and been back home….. TWICE. Next time I will know.

Jennifer DCG Staff are not knowledgeable at all, which is disturbing for a hospital. I had to call my insurance and confirm information because they were trying to overcharge me. I explained this to admissions and they still argued with me. My insurance later determined they were trying to charge me fees that for inpatient services which I was not seeking, as I was simply getting imaging on an outpatient basis. Be careful if you go here they are not helpful nor transparent. Im glad I was able to go to an imaging center that knew what they were doing.

Debbie Swann I was taken in by ambulance with very bad pain from issues I have. They were swamped. The nurses and doctors tried so hard to get to everyone. I felt sorry for the bad treatment some nurses were receiving from patients that was unnecessary. They took it in stride. Bravo nurses. You treated me well, and all that were around me to the best of your abilities.

Lori D D Visiting the Emergency Department of a hospital is not meant to be a pleasant experience due to the very nature of the word EMERGENCY! Hello! Who enjoys an unexpected and perhaps life threatening experience!? That said, my experience at the NMC emergency department was exceptional. I was treated kindly and by professionals who did everything in their power to see that I was treated in the kindest manner possible. The emergency department was extremely busy and there were patients lining the hallways. Even though that was the case, I feel my wait time was acceptable. I loved the fact that I could complete all of my admitting paperwork on my mobile phone while still receiving treatments. The ER physician that treated me was Christopher Klingenberg, MD and he was thorough, professional and kind. I was very pleased with Dr. Klingenberg as well as the nursing staff. Though visiting a hospital ED is not a happy time, I was most pleased with all aspects of my treatment and felt the waiting times were acceptable.

Dr EAL Dr Crowns did not perform an autopsy on my dad, who passed away after a fall / hip fracture and went into cardiac arrest at Select Medical rehab. I have contacted the office several times trying to find my fathers exact cause of death, as Dr Crowns wrote it off as “complications from a hip fracture.” Well, that could be a number of things. His office will only email back that they “pulled the file” and will have him call me which he never did. Was also told that when Dr Crowns came into office that he did away with reports that ME ‘s wrote previously for situations such as my dad’s. Ridiculous. Hopefully our attorney will have more luck.

John Holcomb I came in on January 27, 2025 for Holep prostate surgery with Dr Huddleston. Surgery is often not looked at with a measure of "finally." But I had suffered long enough with prostate complications, so I was ready! The day surgery center was very nice and treated me almost like a celebrity. Mary Beth, my nurse treated me like she would probably treat her father if he were there for surgery. She looked after me before and after the surgery, and took excellent care of me. Thank you Mary Beth!!! The anesthesia team announced "here it comes", and I prepared for a little alone time. The next thing I know is a horrible feeling of nausea! When I told Rhonda, my recovery nurse, she immediately gave me something for that and in a few seconds the feeling was gone and never came back. She looked after me like Mary Beth did, like I was her father. She was superb! At my age, it took a little longer to recover, but I did and went home that day! Thanks you USMD!!! You took great care of me and it was so evident that all of you like your jobs and really enjoy taking care of your "children" for the day. Keep it up! I will try to get the Daisy Award for Mary Beth and Rhonda. If I cant, please accept my sincere gratitude for taking such good care of me. God Bless you all!!!

They listened and It was real and not an act. You could tell that this was their "jam," it was what they went to work to do every day and they did it well. They made me feel safe and their personality and professionalism helped me from being nervous. If I ever have to have to surgery again Id pick USMD Hospital at Arlington.

Alexandra Chavez Went to the ER Tuesday afternoon due to having some bleeding while being 7 weeks of pregnant I was also cramping and not feeling so good the check in lady had a nasty attitude for no reason I’m sorry if she was having a bad day but I was having a worser, the nurses were so nice tho I didn’t got to see a doctor and they send me home and advice me to go with a OBGYN unfortunately that same night I had a miscarriage the day after I was having super bad cramps that I couldn’t even walk or speak I kept throwing up due to the pain I went back to the ER just so they could help with the pain and again front desk ladies were just being stupid and laughing with each other while I was waiting in pain, the doctor was worser he really had the audacity to argue with me about them not being OBGYNS and there was nothing they could do about it to help me? When all I needed was something for the CRAMPS PAIN then he proceed to say I was miscarrying and I just had to wait for that to be over and wait for my next pregnancy? Even the nurse had to apologize for his rudeness and 0 professional everyone was rude getting mad because I was screaming just for being in pain? Expect for my 2 male nurses I didn’t got they’re names but they were awesome other then those 2 everyone was so rude .

Kimberley Mitchell 11/22/24 USMD sent my 76 yr old dehydrated home without any IV fluids. My mother told those quacks, she couldn’t swallow anything, including water! They were also advised of her pacemaker, yet they sent her home with oral antibiotics…(she can’t swallow)!! The doctors at Medical City Arlington found a mass in her throat, and are giving her the treatment and care she should have gotten from USMD Arlington. If I hadn’t taken my mother to another hospital… We are blessed to still have her. USMD, DAMN YOU! Update on my mother’s condition: 12/21/24 after 3weeks of being in ICU my beloved mother was finally downgraded to a regular room at Baylor. USMD I called the number you listed in your reply yesterday, waiting for “J” to call me back. 12/24/24 Just spoke with JD about my mother’s mistreatment and poor lack of care. She promised to look into her case with a team of…more people. My mother will not be home for Christmas, but we are thanking GOD that he hasn’t called her home. The road to recovery will be 9 to 12 months and she’s willing to put the work in to gain her independence back. Praise GOD!

Emily Warden I never leave reviews but I can’t ignore this anymore. I DO NOT recommend going anywhere under UT Health. I went to an allergy Dr in Mt. Pleasant, Tx u set them and it’s been horrible! I never saw the dr., and whoever was in his billing office I talked to was rude and condescending. My allergy testing was supposed to be covered by my insurance, but when we found out they used the wrong codes they refused to re-bill! Since they’re under UT Health, I’ve been dealing with that billing department too and it’s been a literal NIGHTMARE!! It’s been 1 year, I was paying a little on my debt every month while I disputed and we tried to figure out what was going on when they sent me to collections in April! I paid that collector off because I was just done and now I’m being hit up by another collector for the SAME DEBT!! This is absolutely ridiculous! Save your time and money and go somewhere else. The only person that tried to help me was the allergy nurse and a like 2 people I talked to that gave me actual information instead of just saying pay it or go to collections! I have never had any troubles like this.

Daly Rosario If I could, I would give them zero. I went with chest pain, dizziness, and fatigue, anf they told me I was not a priority on their list and they took care of 5 people before me even though I was there first. DinoLover I had a c-section 1/25/2019. Dr McClintock, Dr. Brady and nurses during the surgery were awesome, I have nothing bad to say about them only a huge THANK YOU! However as soon as I made it my room until discharge every nurse I had was horrible. I was never offered the bare minimum like water, towels, or anything. I was hardly checked on. I was not able to get my pain under control because when I would call for pain meds they would come at least 45 mins later even when I knew they were due. The whole time it was only me and one other patient with at least 6 nurses at the nurse station on their phones. Which I had to find out because I had to walk to the snack room myself to get water after being cut open! I had to tell the nurse to hook me back up to my fluids because I couldn’t keep anything down which annoyed her because that meant she had to get up. I had to empty my OWN foley when full because not once did they! I’m a CNA on an inpatient care unit for surgical patients and I know I did not receive the minimum care. Also they discharged me without me signing birth facts paper work so now I have to go back to the hospital to sign those while trying to recover. I didn’t see anyone for lactating after asking several times. DO NOT HAVE YOUR BABY HERE!

Staff is always considerate and understanding with what Im going through. Last time I was admitted and they brought me Tylenol and a heating pad because thats what I prefer. They checked throughout my stay. I feel seen and heard here. I send people who are sick in my hometown over here if they need to go. They have excellent doctors and caring staff. The only reason Im leaving a 2 star review is because the day staff is slightly better.

Kelly Lomas The question is What dont I recommend about Pecos County Memorial Hospital District? My answer is everything if I could give this place a -1⭐️ review or -5⭐️ review I would. This place sucks. This place is only good for delivering babies and labeling patients as "Covid" currently have been sitting in the waiting room for 1.5 hours going on more in the waiting room at the ER with my aunt and daughter whom were involved in a vehicle accident. This place is leveled as a level 4 trauma (basic) and i wouldnt even give them that especially for the ER.Youre better off on your own or making the extra hour drive up to Odessa MCH (which is probably where they will push you to anyways) The board needs to reevaluate the "quality" and "performance" of this place especially with the ER department and stop focusing on pushing medical bills and getting checks from their patients/insurance companies.

Mathew Tammen This Dr. has a “policy” of not calling family members if they are out of town and an older family member is in one of the facilities he covers. His bedside manner is awful and you can absolutely tell that you are only a number when dealing with him. If I had any choice whatsoever with the doctor assigned to my father while in a rehab hospital I would never choose this man or his staff. Absolute joke.
