Melody Cooper The office staff are wonderful. They reached out to me multiple times when appointments came available. Dr Descher gave me more confidence after one visit that I may see an end to this condition I’ve struggled with for 4 weeks and a plan for going forward.

William Sullivan I have been a patient of Dr. Deschner since 2005 and he has been instrumental in my reaching age 78! Each visit is on time and every detail of my exams has been explained thoroughly. He has an easy bedside manner and makes me feel comfortable every step of the way.

Alicia Parra Dr. Deschner is a very caring doctor who listens to concerns and addresses them. I am very impressed that he had all my previous gastro records by the time of the appointment and discussed them with me. It was the best colonoscopy I have experienced with minimal down time from the procedure. I am very glad to be his patient.

Cristina Ford The best of services. Have had Dr. Deschner since 2011. He’s the best. Their office personnel are very efficient. Nurses in the back are very well organized and really take care of you. You go in and out of the surgery in no time and the doctor is there to explain everything right after the surgery. I hope Dr. Deschner does not retire any time soon.

Connie Relaxing atmosphere, everyone is kind and respectful from the time you check in to when your procedure has ended. Doctor Deschner is attentive and easily discuses with you your procedures and outcomes..

Michele Schwandt New Braunfels ER and Hospital are the best caring group of people especially Dr. Mark Dresselhouse. I have never met at any ER anywhere that went so out of their way to help me. And connect me with other resources. It really blew my mind to tell you the truth. It was a reminder that there are really good caring people out there. Thank you so very much for all of your help it really does make a difference with your patients. Blessings, Michele

Jessica Suarez Took my daughter here and Im very impressed with how professional and caring they were with her. My daughter gets nervous with needles, but the nurses were very careful with her and made sure she was comfortable and safe there. The doctor was awesome with listening to my concerns and getting to the problem of what was making her feel iil. Great service and professionalism all around.

Meredith Clark This team is absolutely amazing. I came into the clinic with an allergic reaction and within minutes they we able to address my issue and start treatment. Sarah (with an H) and Dr. Knepper are fantastic. They made a very stressful situation calm as well as being quick and efficient. This will always be the place, should I need urgent care, to go for me and my family and friends! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♥️

Barbara Trevino We were visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. My sweet granddaughter ( age 4) had an asthma flareup late one night and needed to be seen immediately,my sister suggested this facility. As soon as we arrived the staff were so attentive, concern and compassionate immediately treating our sweet Angel making her feel better and reassuring her,us that all would be okay. The entire staff from the kind greeting from the from desk to the nurse who played and had our Angel smiling and assisted in caring for our Angel even attending to us making sure we were comfortable to the doctor who started treatment in helping with her breathing. We definitely cant thank each of you enough. I wished we had this kind of care, compassionate, back home. I definitely would return to this facility if ever needed when we visit our family again.

Racheal Frederick-Vijay Service and care was 100% the best I have ever experienced in a hospital setting. Every person I met with, the front desk, nurses, and doctors were so kind and helpful. I felt safe and well cared for during the entire time I was there. My wait time was less than 5 minutes, labs were provided back to me within 15 mins via text link, and my care was delivered quickly and successfully. Id give more stars if it was an option.

Gwenda Deike I have been a patient of Dr Rider for a little over a year. I could not be happier. His office is caring and very knowledgeable. I see his Nurse Practitioner,Maddie often and love her to death. She calls and checks on me during or after a illness. They provide a level of service you just don’t find anymore. I highly recommend this office!!!
5 /5
Joan Spicer I have had David Rider as my primary physician for well over a decade. With only the slightest clue, he insisted on immediate further testing through a gynecologist which caught my cancer early. I know that following his directives saved my life. Ive had a lot of doctors in my 66 years and in my opinion, there is no better doctor than David RIder. Super smart, good listener and a consummate professional. I hold him in highest possible regard.

Lysette Fernstrom I started seeing Dr. Rider as my primary care physician when I moved to New Braunfels and he is the best! I am so glad I found him and always receive the best care and attention at each and every visit.

Jaylin Gamboa Loved Dr. Rider’s office so much I kept going even when I moved an hour away. However I won’t be returning due to the office manager. She was Extremely inconsiderate and not empathetic to an unexpected problem I had come across. Without getting into detail due to privacy, she could not actually explain herself to me and provide me with a solid reason for her actions (other than the office is basically money hungry) and also said she would prescribe me medicine that she never did.

Billy Barrera I cant express enough how much Dr. David Rider has transformed my life. From the very first appointment, his exceptional ability to listen and genuinely understand my concerns stood out (patient over 4 years) . He meticulously explains every detail of my condition and treatment plan, ensuring I always feel informed and involved in my healthcare journey. His compassionate care and vast knowledge have made a lasting impact not just on me but on my entire family. For anyone seeking a primary care physician who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients well-being, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rider. He goes above and beyond to ensure his patients receive the best possible care, and his dedication is always on display. Billy Barrera

Lemyn Sage I had surgery here and from beginning to end, the whole experience was just unlike any Ive ever had in a doctor/hospital setting. The front staff were genuinely kind. The nurses were extremely personable and worked efficiently. The anesthesiologist were also information and all encouraging. Dr. Lano did my surgery and he truly is the best. My recovery is going to be a lot easier than I thought just for the simple fact that this place is being run exactly as it should. Thank you for taking care of me everybody!

Roaming Retirees I have been to this facility 4 times now. Three times for procedures and once for surgery. This staff loves their jobs. Everyone that serviced me was happy, kind and caring. Eric Cox Obviously nobody looks forward to a colonoscopy, but if you get to choose where to go, choose here. I was taken back on schedule, and got plenty of communication beforehand to keep me on track. The thing that sets them apart from others is how nice EVERYONE is. Amy, Cindy, Jamie, Amelia, Milly, Elisa and Laura all were super nice and friendly.

Staci Fisher My mom has been a patient for 6 yrs and is being told that she owes a balance that is the offices responsibility (NOT MY NOMS) but she isnt able to see the Dr unless she pays this "balance" from 2022 that she recently received a bill from your office. She has spoke with her ins company on several occasions but the billing specialist is insisting that the ins company is wrong and that they are stupid and ignorant. First of all please make sure your staff is polite to patients and secondly please make sure your billing staff is accurately educated in billing, refunds, resubmitting and correcting codes.. She is NOT coming back to this office because of the ignorant billing staff.

Jade Muhs Awful experience today. My appointment was at 4pm. At 405 I was told that I’d have to let myself back alone, weighed myself for the visit, had to find which room I was going to go to by myself because they didn’t have the arrows arranged right by the time. Waited in the room until 420 before someone else came in and said they needed bloodwork first. Left did that and came back. Finally got to see Dr. Kelly, for a checkup for a sprained ankle that is still obviously swollen and unable to hold weight that well. She only glanced at it. Didn’t bother to actually check on it and told me they would send me to a podiatrist to look at it, whenever the specialist could get me in (not until next week) She refused to give me a light duty note for work, even though I told her I can’t stand 8 hours on my ankle yet and she said well the podiatrist is going to have you start weight bearing on it as part of PT. Which I know but I can only stand half an hour at a time before the pain gets too unbearable and even before then the pain starts at standing 5 minutes. She finally wrote me a work note to cover up until I get to see the specialist only after I literally burst into tears from the pain and frustration. She’s the only dr there that literally raises my blood pressure. I’ve had appointments with every one else there and my blood pressure is always normal. But with her my blood pressure is flagged as high.

roxana cahill Every time I see Dr. Kelly, I swear its the most productive and insightful conversation Ive ever experienced with a primary care physician. I feel SO heard. When I ask questions around various health issues Im experiencing, she takes the time to not only answer them, but she also references the research behind her answers! Im always leaving with post-it notes that contain golden nuggets of information. Additionally, I have major respect for how shes structured her clinic. From an operational standpoint, shes established and mastered a beautifully efficient system to get people in their rooms and seen in a timely manner. She is one-of-a-kind!

wendy Searle I’ve been very disappointed in Kelly Family Clinic’s treatment of me as a patient. I was called 2 days before my appointment, and was told they dropped me because they stopped accepting Medicare Advantage Plan. After I found another doctor, KFC refused to give me a referral, and only gave me a refill of my medication for 30 days. This has been medically irresponsible on their part. I had cancer previously, and to go without medication or a doctor is very dangerous me.

Veronica McClain I visited the ER yesterday and I must say I was very impressed. I was seen immediately with no wait time. My nurse, Jessica, was very friendly, professional, compassionate and provided outstanding patient care and support. She, the other RN (can’t remember her name, my apologies) and the doctor on duty, Dr. Aprile, made me feel comfortable and I was confident in their abilities to take care of my medical needs. Thank you again for your exceptional patient care and services. I hope I won’t have to go to the ER again, but if I have do, this will be my #1 choice. Kuddos!!

Joanne Cruz This Dr. checked my childs ears, throat and ears and said, its just a cold. We went in with 102 fever. After unsuccessful treatment of OTC drugs for the symptoms, took our child back to ANOTHER urgent care and it was STREP! Our child couldve been on the tail end of strep but instead suffered unnecessarily through more days of uncomfortable symptoms. What harm would it do to just swab for Strep? What a joke! Dont bother going here. Staff was extremely rude as well. Shouldve known the care was going to suck from the initial meeting of the lady at the front. I think we woke her from her nap!

Random V The Most Unprofessional Doctor Ive Even Seen!!!! The nurse was fantastic! The doctor came across as bugged out, on one, and rude. He seemed genuinely annoyed that I was there and was just a waist of his time. Basically, I diagnosed myself and told him how to treat it.. Offered no solution or after care just stared at me... DID NOT EVEN KNOCK! Just swung the door open and scared my kids! Luckily, the nurses are amazing! They basically did his job for him. She gave me all the helpful information. He didnt even fill out the return to work note correctly or even sign it until it was brought up!

That doctor did not want to be there that night and I felt like I was keeping from leaving for a late night date of something Needs some better manners and care and concern for people. (24) Reviews CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels - Emergency Room:

L Forest Absolutely the worst emergency care I have ever experienced. The place is filthy and the nurses were unreasonabley loud/laughing while patients wait to treated. Between bouts of vomiting I could not sleep they were SO loud. Others complained too. They failed to clamp my IV port on a trip to the restroom completely covering myself, my husband and the bathroom floor with a great deal of blood. It took them a while to find where the blood was coming from. They wiped it w a dry paper towel leaving the floor coated in blood the entire 14 hours we were there, others were using the restroom constantly it was disgusting. My PCP gave us documents explaining new diagnostics and my condition/treatment which they set aside & completely ignored so they could see "if this works" it didnt. Over 12 hours later they decided to try use the same protocol as my documents stated and it finally worked to stop my pain and vomiting 10-12 xs an hour. DO NOT GO HERE! Anywhere but here.

Susan B. We are here now. It is ridiculous. We have been waiting 3 hours for blood test results. We would have walked out but they left the iv from the blood draw in his arm. I guess they figured he wasn’t having a heart attack so they put him down on the priority list. Very disappointed. Updates. Going on hour 5 of sitting in this waiting room. I’m so upset. This is no way to treat people!

Hannah Heflin I went in to the ER for dehydration early on in my pregnancy. They took my blood work & it came back negative for pregnancy. I went to a different ER where my blood work came back positive for pregnancy. They must have switched up my blood work and were not willing to run any more tests to confirm as I knew I was pregnant.

(101) Reviews TANYA R. GRUN, M.D., P.A. - Abundant Health! Family Medicine:

Michaela D Ive given this office chances and after our last visit plenty of time before writing a review, hopeful that this was not the way Dr. Grunn would allow her office/ staff members to treat her patients. To our disspointment, inhumane, discrimination, neglect, disrespect (the list could go on) is being allowed. I would not wish this type of treatment we recieved by this staff particularly by the front office receptionist and her clinical director. When I say we, a CHILD was involved. Make sure you check all your charges, and follow up with any complaints you may have. Those go through the worst part of this office and Im almost certain arent seen/ heard by the doctor whos reputation is being represented by these certain type of employees.. With many complaints from multiple people nothing has changed and they have allowed them to still work there. The ONLY reason we have continued to try make it work with this office is Sierra the PA is AMAZING! Grunn has been good for quick basic visits but never has appointments, from what Im told she is slowing down, so we dont see her much. Just sad she is allowing her pratice to loose respect and value.

Tiffany M I absolutely love the team here. I’ve been seen by this practice for years and have had very positive experiences. There was even a time I had a very bad panic attack at another doctor’s office, they reached out to my PCP here and that evening I received a phone call just to check in on me to make sure everything was ok. They genuinely care about your well-being, and don’t minimize your concerns. I have never been rushed through an appointment or ever been made to feel like I wasn’t a valued patient. Any recommendations they have ever had for my care have been discussed WITH me, and never forced on me. I have Sierra as my provider and she is the best!! Vicky at the front desk is always so awesome, too! This team is definitely professional, compassionate, and respectful. I’m very grateful for their care!

Traci miller Both my kids and I have been patients of Dr Grun and her practice over 13 years and couldnt be more happier with them. The staff and doctors at Abundant Heath have always been amazing and super helpful. Anything weve encountered from immunizations to serious illness, they always make sure we are taken care of. Most recently, weve been seeing Amanda and she is awesome!! Does a great job connecting with patients and making us feel like our concerns are top priority. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a medical provider.

Sabrina Roberts My Mom was extremely confused shortly after my Dad passed away. I was able to get her in quickly. Blood work, urinalysis and chest X-rays were ordered. All came back negative. We were both treated with compassion and care from everyone in the office. My phone was constantly ringing and they waited patiently for me. Staff called a couple of times to check on Mom after the appointment. Office manager helped me with the appointment while she was with her very sick father. I am also a patient of Abundant Health and have been for years. I receive Adult ADHD care also. I am pleased with the testing process and all it entails. It has been very challenging for everyone in the medical field since Covid. I always appreciate the care Mom and I receive.

Reina Liles I’ve been a patient here since before they moved location and have had some of the worst experiences. Sierra is lovely, but I had to stop going because of the receptionists. They are always extremely rude and even caused me to have a panic attack. Today, I called to make an appointment out of sheer necessity and was once again met with the most awful woman i’ve ever spoken to. I have on multiple occasions been refused refills on my medication, even if my appointment was a week away, because I hadn’t been in for a check up. A few months ago, I came in for my appointment and the receptionist told me she wasn’t able to tell me how much my appointment was going to cost. I tried to leave as I wasn’t comfortable being seen without knowing the cost, and she charged me a cancellation fee. If you want your health to always be a question mark, this is the place to go—-I was contacted about this google review by the manager. After being spoken over, my concerns disregarded, and being discriminated against about my age, i was then hung up on and called “little girl”. Since leaving a review, instead of them trying to see my point of view, I was dropped as a patient. Clearly, they do not care about anyone or their experience, they only care about how their office looks, even though they proceed to be awful. To the manager I spoke to today, if you’re so concerned with your office’s image, maybe treat your patients with a little respect.

Olivia Farrell The rudest employees I have ever met. We showed up to our appointment fifteen minutes early and was told we arrived too late and that we were supposed to arrive 45 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. We were never told this and the receptionist ego was to fragile that she couldn’t admit she messed up. Not only that, but I was on the phone with them three separate times an hour before my appointment to confirm insurance information and not once did they decide to notify me. I actually had a phone call documented at 2:11 pm and they didn’t even ask why I wasn’t there. And while this whole discussion was going on I actually filled out the paperwork before my appointment time and that still wasn’t good enough for them. Absolutely ridiculous, why not make the appointment for 2:15 instead of 3? Not once did anyone show any compassion for my sick father. I even explained this was an emergency and they just asked me to leave. I would not recommend this place at all if you want a doctor that cares about what they do.

Whitney Morales The bad reviews on google really made me pause before I took my daughter to this ENT, but my pedi recommended this provider, and Im so glad that I didnt go against her recommendation. We had a great experience with Dr.Franklin. He did an ear tube surgery on my 9 month old, and our follow up care has been great as well! He noticed one was clogged when we went in for our follow up and he took care of it right away. They prioritize babies and give the youngest kids the earliest appointments so as to get them in and out as quickly as possible.

Lauren Lopez Honestly, the reviews on here scared me to death. We ended up seeing Dr. Franklin regardless, and I am so glad we did. I wasn’t expecting a close relationship with him, as I would my pediatrician. He is a specialist! He was still very kind to my daughter and I am happy we went with him for her tonsillectomy. The front desk staff and his nurse were also very welcoming. The surgery went smoothly and she is experiencing mild discomfort. Thank you Dr. Franklin!

Brooke Marshall I feel compelled to leave a review as the negative reviews almost caused us to go elsewhere, and I’m so glad we didn’t listen. We saw Dr Franklin for my daughter’s chronic ear infections and had an extremely positive experience. The front office staff, our nurse and Dr Franklin were all kind and patient with my 15 month old. The office is very nice and clean, and there was zero wait time. She will be getting tubes and they were up front about the cost and relieved all of our concerns about the procedure. We feel very confident in our decision to go with Dr Franklin.

I never felt rushed or unheard which sadly has been my experience in the past with other PCP’s. Dr. Campos and his NP, Nathan have worked well together in forming an action plan for getting me in a better place. I know I’m in good hands with this practice and am so glad I’ve found a place that makes me feel so comfortable. Not to mention the front desk staff is just as friendly and welcoming. Joe Merry The care received was excellent. The nurses and aides were friendly and professional. The therapy staff payed close attention to the very specific strengthening needs of each individual patient. The cleaning staff were friendly and kept the entire building spotless. My highest praise goes to the food service staff. I believe they are the binder that brings everything together. They not only cater to the needs of each patient but also provide extras for the staff bringing everyone together with a common interest…Good Food. The chefs believe good food with a smile contributes in a big way to healing, and I believe they are right!!! This was the only hospital stay I ever had that I gained weight.

Kim Kenney Stop. Do not send your loved ones to this facility! The nurses are stressed and grouchy. When I introduced myself to the charge nurse, she responded only with "Whats the problem?" But the worst part was when my husband qualified to move from LTAC to Rehab in order to get my occupational & physical therapy, they wanted to keep him in LTAC, "Since the insurance will cover it and he can stay here longer." Why would he want to stay in that dump any longer? They just wanted to collect more insurance money. Also, check the pamphlet. They did not live up to the standards promised especially regarding therapy. Caseworker was very uncooperative.

Destiny Scull- Faulkner This place is phenomenal! They took excellent care of my grandmother. They were loving and truly care for their patients. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of, happy and comfortable. They also take their time to really get to know their patients The PT, did great and pushed her hard to help her get back on her feet. I could not recommend this place more.

Marina Behar Dr. Sreedevi Daggubati, MD is my Moms Dr. This office is Very Poorly run. My Mother was admitted to ICU due to their negligence. I called the office with her severe symptoms and they took a message and later send a generic email with "advice" including a fiber supplement- my mom was having severe diarrhea every 15 minutes and hadnt kept even water or her medication in going on 2 days. Its been 2 weeks and they still have not called us back with a plan on how to move forward with her care. We have been calling every day since her admittance to the ICU. Take your loved one elsewhere Cancer is enough to go through already without these uncaring people that are at this office that only see you as a Dollar sign. Ill be suing them for negligence. My Mother now will have lasting effects from going Septic for the rest of her life. Had the office told her to go to the ER sooner it wouldnt have been as severe. I am issuing complaints every where I can and warning and sharing with anyone and everyone. Id give Zero stars if I could. Dont trust your loved one with an over booked office that just wants a Payday.

Jazzie Baron Our experience with this oncology practice was nothing short of distressing. From the start, we had to make excessive follow-up calls just to get an initial referral appointment. Then, just one day before the scheduled appointment, they informed us that they hadn’t received all of the doctor’s notes. Despite our multiple efforts to ensure that all the necessary documents were sent—and even bringing them in hand—they refused to accept them. The practice is overcrowded, and the initial check-in process is an unpleasant experience, with workers who clearly do not want to be there. The most alarming part of our experience was that my son was mis-staged by his oncologist for testicular cancer. The oncologist recommended three full rounds of chemotherapy—an incredibly aggressive and expensive treatment that most likely would have done more harm than good. We believe this mis-staging could have been fatal. The chemotherapy experience itself was impersonal and apathetic, making us question the care my son was receiving. This practice is clearly overbooked, overcrowded, and not detail-oriented, which is incredibly dangerous in oncology care. Thankfully, we were able to transfer to Texas Oncology in Stone Oak, where a new doctor informed us that my son was mis-staged and should only undergo one round of chemotherapy. Despite finding a better doctor, the overall experience with this practice remains horrendous. Their preferred method of communication is through their website, yet I still have two critical questions about chemo side effects that have gone unanswered for a month. This forced us to call multiple times, question everything, and dedicate our time like a full-time job to ensure my son received proper care. I cannot emphasize enough—please, from the bottom of my heart, go anywhere else. Explore other cancer centers, and make sure you and your loved ones receive the care they deserve.

Jo Mendoza Dr. & Nurses were thorough with checkup at ER. Only complaint is that I was told there were no rooms/beds available. Waited in waiting room & hallway next to an open trash can.. waited a little over 5 hrs. But other patients who arrived after me were given a room. No privacy during consultation with Dr or RN. What happened to HIPAA/PHI? Went to restroom & there were several beds empty. I am a paying customer with health insurance & a job. Do not think I will be returning to this ER again. I hope you dont charge me for a room I was never in/used!!

Damien Martinez We brought our toddler to the ER at 2am, the Nurse who called us back seemed irritated as soon as she came out. We didnt think to much about it until we asked her if theres something going around since a few of our family were sick she replied with the most unprofessional and disgusting tone that "its the flu I dont know why anyone even comes in for that its not like we can do anything for them, their wasting our time" never have I felt like mopping the floor with someone but I did. No licensed nurse should ever disregard someones health let alone a child. After the test all came back negative the doctor told us to follow-up with our pediatrician to see what exactly was going on. When the nurse Cynthia came back she came in with a irritated attitude saying " its just a cold not much to do for that" I told her the doctor said all test came back negative then she proceeded to flip through the papers she was giving us saying "oh well its nothing" I looked at her name on her badge and she literally pulled it out to my face! and said "its Cynthia write it down" my wife then told her she didnt have to be rude and thats she been rude the entire time, bickering went back and forth with Cynthia. We called the hospital the next day to file a complaint and got directed to a supervisor voice-mail it has been two days now and no call back. Highly recommend going to a different ER were health and compassion is taken seriously. Looking at all the reviews regarding Nurse interactions is concerning really hope this place gets there employees in check. A complete disgrace to nurses everywere

Randal Springs I was having a serious Stemi and was transferred by EMS from GRMC in Seguin to the Cath lab around 830 pm. I was met by Dr Wyatt and the nursing staff and immediately my procedure began correcting a 100 percent blocked artery. Then I was sent to the ICU overnight. The staff and nurses were awesome. I then spent one more night in a private room. The care was unbelievable and awesome! I returned a month later to have a 70 percent blockage on another artery stented! Dr Wyatt and the nursing staff were amazing. I went home later that afternoon. This is the place to be for cardiac care!

Only issue was the front desk person she was rude and kirk, when someone is visibly suffering its really hard to be treated like that.

Graham Trull While the staff and care we received was great, we feel like we were taken advantage of... Brought our 1 year old in with a very high fever and they were able to bring his fever down using Tylenol and providing liquids. We were only there an hour or two and ended up being billed around $2,000. Roughly $1,000 was for general care and another $1,000 was billed as an "anesthesiology fee". We didnt have any anesthesia needs, but apparently one of the doctors that oversaw our sons care was an anesthesiologist and they billed as such. I understand an ER visit isnt going to be cheap, but billing for a service we didnt receive, just because they "could" felt like a ripoff. For comparison, we just had a 2 night stay at the hospital in Austin at Dell Childrens with our daughter and they only invoiced us $400.

I called MULTIPLE times only to get hung up on TWICE before encountering a wonderful woman who took the time to listen and informed me I would be able to come in before 4 pm. Long story short— I was turned away at the desk. Drove 15 minutes to the other location and it was closed for the day. I was so irritated I never got the xray. Thankfully this was months ago and it looks like I didn’t need it in the first place.

I paid my copay to be seen and when I finally encountered a doctor (Doctor Lee I believe his name was) he laughed in my face, told me that Im not a real emergency and told me that he wasnt going to help me. Then the doctor discharged me and asked me to leave while in tears. This place is a joke, they charged me almost $1000 to be seen then laughed at me and told me to leave. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! Eleanor is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I will be taking this matter to the Texas Medical Board. Eleanor, I see that you can respond on Google. Could you please respond to my email and send my records. It’s the law.

Melinda Jacquez Dr. Lee is a good doctor. The office staff is horrible. I understand they deal with the public. However, this is where professionalism comes in from patient to patient. This staff does not have it. Just goes to show you, the reply received for my review. Neither apply to me. Professionalism needs to take place in that office. Its hard to be delinquent on an account when your office owed me money. And it takes over two and a half months for a refund. And given excuses as to why you couldnt refund me. My PT referral took weeks to get called in, i was told it was getting called in that day. RX was never called in to the pharmacy. The fact that you are grouping me into one of these categories shows lack of professionalism.

NT James “Sping” Dr. Lee is a good doctor - and thats where the compliments will end. His staff are uncompassionate towards customers situations. In this case, due to a family member having a stroke with only a few days left on life support - we had to cancel an appointment 8 hours early, and the staff still tried to make us pay a "$60 late fee" based on a technicality that it is supposed to be a 24 HOUR late advance. Okay, but our FAMILY MEMBER WAS ACTIVELY DYING. Of course theres going to be harsh words at this sociopathic lack of care. The staff will then have the gall to remove you as a patient and hang up the phone simply because you push back against senseless cruel fees, and the staff will act surprised that they made someone legitimately upset over the insult of making someone pay a fee because they had to see their dying dad. Is it sociopathic behavior? You dont do that. A good practitioner would waive the fee. It is truly sickening, and others Ive talked to have agreed that what happened in this case was really, really wrong. Well - regardless, after the staff truly upset us with no compassion, they decided to kick us out. So do expect to deal with things like this from Grace Family Medicine. Im already expecting the reply - "But you talked to us so horrible on the phone" And yes, you got what you deserved for even daring to tell someone who just had to leave to rush to their dying Dad to pay a late fee.

Terry Powell Dr Lee is a very competent doctor. His office staff, however, managed by his wife, is incompetent, uncaring, and vindictive. I had a number of expensive tests run over a number of months to diagnose a medical condition I continue to experience. Subsequently, I relocated to a different state, and for the next 8 weeks tried in vain to have my medical records forwarded to another physician. At least 8 attempts were made by myself and the new physicians office - assurances were made, excuses were offered, but no records were ever sent. Now Im forced to repeat the tests. Grace Family Medicine has nothing to do with Grace and Christian values - dont be fooled. Having read the rebuttal from Grace Family Medicine, I can confirm, that after 8 weeks the records have still not been sent. It is a terrible disservice to Dr Lee, he is a really good doctor.

Letty Perales Want to share the experience I had today with Dr Lee’s office mgr. Her lack of cooperation and responsiveness with the billing issue below is reason enough to give such a poor rating . On Jan. 25, 2024, I received a bill from this office for $158.68 ; was for a doctor’s visit on August 28, 2023, which my insurance company had declined. I initially had called the doctor’s office last week to inquire about this bill but was told by receptionist that the billing rep only works Tuesdays and Thursdays. On 2/13/24, I called office again and spoke to billing specialist to inquire about this balance. I asked her if she could provide the reason this claim was denied for office visit in August. She told me that my insurance had requested additional medical record information and that it was mailed to them on or about September 27th. I immediately contacted my insurance company and spoke to a manager who reviewed this claim and said nothing was ever submitted . The manager at BCBS was also taken back that with so such required privacy around medical information that this documentation should have been faxed to resolve this issue. I then contacted billing specialist again today to explain that insurance company had never received the supporting documentation for this charge. I also want to go on record to state that while I have no issue paying this bill in it’s entirety and I needed Dr Lee’s office to resend the medical records information to insurance company so they can review the denied claim!!! The billing specialist was reluctant to do so and said she would have to escalate to the office manager and would have her call me back to resolve this issue. I received a callback today from the office manager while I was on a business call and asked if I could call her back to discuss this invoice . I attempted to explain briefly with what I needed and almost immediately she started over talking without me being able to finish. She immediately became irate and in an unprofessional tone told me that I was failing in my agreement by not paying this invoice !!! I was beyond frustrated and surprised with her unprofessional demeanor, and immediately hung up on her ! This was my absolute last straw with dealing with this lady that obviously cannot handle or care to listen to her husband patients concerns. No one should ever endure or accept this type of treatment from their doctor’s office staff or office manager when attempting to resolve a billing issue. I will continue to work with my insurance carrier to ensure they get what is needed from them and will not ever return to seek help from this doctor or his staff . It was the worst experience I have ever encountered from a medical office staff. I am also expecting this office to not respond or provide what is needed to my insurance carrier and if that happens I will continue to escalate until this matter is resolved

Martha Mendez Called to get a prescription filled for my 91 year-old mother. The automated system says to call the pharmacy or log into patient portal for refills. The pharmacy said they need a new prescription for the meds before they can be refilled. Logged into the patient portal, and the system said "Unable to login. Please try again at another time." So I called the office and left a message. Thankfully, I am able to be my mothers advocate. How do seniors, some with limited tech skills and no one to advocate for them, navigate this rodeo?

Gary Webster This place is a total waste of time! The wife had a terrible time trying to make an appointment. The office said they would call to confirm it, we received no call. On the day of the penciled, unconfirmed appointment, we tried to call the office again without any luck. We arrived at 1.40 for the penciled in 1.45 appointment, which was the first one after their lunch break. We paid our copay and sat down. 40 minutes later, the wife asked how long it would be, the response was stunning, "it is usual for the doctors to be 30 minutes to an hour late on appointments because of overrun from previous patients. When I asked how that was possible as we were to first appointment after their lunchbreak? The very rude receptionist then snapped, "we are a specialist clinic. I am not sure what that has to do with our appointment. In my oppinion, THESE PEOPLE SIMPLY DO NOT CARE!

Brian I am very disappointed with the new system for scheduling! They moved my appointment but changed my Doctor? Then when I called to verify appointment, it was a different Dr and he was not even in today! Wanted to see if appointment for Friday with Dr Farra they said it was already full so I could not see. Dr till the following week like it was no big deal!! I have had numerous tests do with no follow up, I am having issues and they do not seem to care . The appointment system is the worst! I have had a massive heart attack 9 years ago, having issues and had a number of expensive test done and still having issues! It is affecting my life and it is scary and they do not seem to care! I have had much better service in Austin I like Dr Farra but dislike the new scheduling system! Very up setting and it is my health the answering service does not care about!

Jose Dizon Stay away. This practice is a revenue machine, not a people caring machine. I was in the ER and admitted to the hospital. A cardiologist from this firm visits my room and tells me to make an appointment to see him (he’s the business development guy). when you make an appointment you see someone else who spends 6 minutes with you and tells you to schedule a test to be taken within 2 weeks. But the scheduler schedules it for 6 weeks out. I go back to the doctor’s office and the nurse says “just keep taking the meds, you’ll be all right.” I tell my primary care physician and she says this is totally unacceptable and tries to reschedule it. No success. The day before my test, 6 weeks later, the office calls to reschedule because my insurance approval is “pending”. I call the insurance office and they told me New Braunfels Cardiology started the pre-certification process too late. They had 6 weeks to do this! If you look at the other reviews you see consistent one-star messages about the same thing. That’s because they don’t read or care about you or reviews. Folks, this is an uncaring cardiology office. I went somewhere else.

Megan Strickland I had to fight for a letter for my service dog and emotional support cat. I had a feeling it would get confusing since I have both. But they argued against it. Supposedly more worried about their license. But the PA wanted letter from the trainer who trained my service dog. Even though hes owner trained which is protected by ADA law. I explained it multiple times. Explaining hes NOT professionally trained so where would I get that anyway. She couldnt tell me but kept repeating that. Then said Id have to go to a psychiatrist even though my service dog ISNT for psychiatric disabilities. So why waste my money and time there. Then she said to go see my medical specialist instead. This was a waste of my lunch away from work and waste of my moms money for this appointment. This is illegal discrimination and harassment. I already receive it in Public. Last thing I need is a doctor to discriminate and harass me illegally against something she absolutely has NO idea. She even admitted that she isnt even trained in what to do.

Robert Grosman Having moved to Texas recently I needed to find medical care that could offer me optimum attention. I had my first appointment with Dr. Krantz at this location in February 2024. I found her to be not only very friendly and easy to talk to but she is an exceptional listener. I gave her a run down of all my issues and she had immediate reactions to all my concerns. She followed up by referring me to several other doctors and for various tests to address my issues. I saw her yesterday for a follow up. I came to the appointment with some apprehensions about the results obtained by the tests she authorized. We covered all the concerns I had. She gave me a very clear understanding about the 3 to 4 areas that concerned me. This alleviated my worries. She just has a knack for offering instantaneous feedback which I attribute to her wonderful training and innate gift. Finally, Dr. Krantz is an upbeat and cheerful person which makes for a very pleasant “doctor visit.”

Nurses will not listen to simple requests and get irritated when you want to change very minor things. I cannot express how little faith I have in this hospital going forward. A total and absolute disgrace to the medical community. I would love to speak with someone in charge of the maternity department to express my feelings about our bad experiences with both of my children that were born here. Also, nurses that are 38 weeks pregnant SHOULD not be in charge of patient care when they cant remember basic things like their stethoscope or which room needs which. Completely unacceptable.

Alexander Cypert Very painful to schedule an appt. We lived in NB for 5 years and this was our primary care facility. We recently moved back into the area after a brief stint in Austin. I called to schedule an appt to re-establish my care and have my asthma medication refilled. I was told that I had to see my original doctor (one who in 5 years saw me 1 time due to his schedule). His first available Appt was Mid March. Nurse would not provide a reason for this being their policy. When I mentioned the critical nature of my request, she told me there was nothing they could do. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere. Very disappointed after being a patient here for five years that this is the level of care now offered at this facility.

GINNA Ballard I’ve gone here about ten years. First with Dr. Overman and now Dr. Stigall since Overman retired. Dorothy is one of the nurses, and always the one who contacts me. She is great. Both docs have been wonderful people. Dr. Overman was always sensitive to things that worried me, without making me feel like a hypochondriac. Dr. Stigall has been very helpful with a recent diagnosis. It’s always easy to make appointments, they do bloodwork in house and that has been easy, and they have equipment to do a quick x-ray, etc. I’ve also liked that they don’t immediately refer me to a specialist if there is a minor thing that they can help with. They have been good at considering an issue, making suggestions, and then referring out - unless it is something serious that they don’t feel comfortable treating. Great place.

Kimberly Meredith Medfirst has been my primary care provider for about 3 years. Of the 10 or so appointments I have scheduled for myself and my husband over these 3 years, 2 have NOT been canceled. Many times when an appointment is rescheduled, it’s canceled again. By the time they honor your appointment, you’ve waited a year or more to be seen. Extenuating circumstances happen and I am very understanding of this- but extenuating circumstances are the trend at this office.

Tiffany Czarnomski This clinic is all about the money. They push too many appointments onto the physicians and thus their ability to actually "practice medicine" is compromised. If you are looking to have a personal family physician this is not the clinic for you. I respect the physician we have signed up with but the clinic management and pushing everything into telemedicine or to scheduled phone calls for a follow up is not how a family clinic should be run. This clinic will end up closing within two years if they keep this model up and it will likely end up being akin to an "urgent care, get me seen, push the pills clinic". If you want proper management and great family care, this is not your clinic. Most of their physicians are leaving this group because of this style of "cattle herding" and taking their skills and knowledge elsewhere. Their patient portal is also difficult to navigate and keep and link all the family members to the guarding account. Not all my children are linked to my account. And since the physicians are overworked not all the documentation and results are uploaded or entered into the patient portal account either. Thats how $$$ focused the clinic is. Ive been in healthcare my whole life and not seen a clinic run this poorly in any state Ive lived in.

Natalie Johnson Awful. Just awful. The first visit my parents went to was with Dr. Rodolfo Canizales-Collazo. They gave a wonderful report of how polite and kind he was. However, we found out that Dr. Rodolfo is anything but a nice guy. We went yesterday for a 1:20pm appointment, but began to notice that the doctor was late, and it was now 2:07pm. I went out the office to inquire...only to find him and a female nurse playing hanky-panky with the door wide open! Nurse had no shoes on, the doc was in his chair playfully stooped forward while the nurse was on top of him, seemingly reaching towards his lap for something. Whatever they were doing, it was extremely unprofessional, and we were being held up over foolishness. I interrupted and asked is the appointment still on because it was pass 1:20pm. At that point, the doctor was most likely embarrassed (at least I hope so), but the meeting didnt get better from there. Dr. Rodolfo basically tried to scare my mother into diaylsis, a procedure she vehemently turned down. Each time I countered what the doctor was saying, he became offended because he wanted to force his will on my mother. He outright said that shes going to die, and he was faulting me. My mother was told that she was suppose to be dead years ago, yet shes still alive. I argued that he cant force my mother to do something against her will. Needless to say, we left and probably wont return. Sorry, Rodolfo. We might be Black, but were not dumb. We know that dialysis targets minorities, and that its a huge money maker for your industry, but not this family. Be a better doctor and husband.

Jose Ramirez I was told only appointment is 3 months out . I scheduled the appointment. When i arrived i was not seen due to the doctor taking a "personal day". I asked to be seen by another doctor or nurse practitioner and they said there was no doctors working that day (during a week day). The office manager also stated she were the highest authority in the building and there was nobody else i could speak with. They refused to give me a note showing that i showed up for an appointment that they cancelled in stead they wanted to give me a note saying i had changed my appointment. When i told then that i had taken time off work for my appointment and they needed to see me or compensate me for my time they told me to just go back to work. I was then offered an appointment 2 months out. So to be seen by this practice it would have been 5 months from the day i scheduled my appointment. I urge you to pick a different practice so you dont die waiting to be seen. Also their answer to everything is wait months for an apt or go to the ER. Very unprofessional staff.
