5 /5 Mark Romero: In March 2022, I went to the hospital for a diabete ulcer that turned into gangrene. This was a series would on my ankle/heel area. I was not given many options to care for this except to amputate my foot. Until I met Lourdes (Lulu), Vazquez, she informed me that she had a limb salvage treatment at her clinic (St Lukes Wound Care). When I finally got the insurance to approve this treatment, Lulu recommended that Dr. Shah and her team treat my wound. Dr. Shah is very passionate about her treatments and her patiences. The nursing staff is awesome especially Maria, Sarah, Joy, Paris, and Cheryl. Carlos has also been there with all my HBO treatments and is excellent. I am still on the road to recovery, but I have come a long way with their care and attention.
If it was not for Lulus visit to the hospital, I do not know where I would be today. So if you have wounds that need treatment, especially diabetes, this is the center to go to and get your cure. You will not be disappointed.
