liz wells Dr. Tui has been my physician for a few years now. Her and her medical assistant Tessa are very professional in their role. They take their time to fully understand your concerns with their undivided attention. They do their best to take care of those needs and to answer your questions. There has never been a time where I felt rushed in my appointment, my time was well respected. Tui and Tessa are very responsive and available with call, text or portal message. I pray they never leave because they are the best and I dont want to lose them.

Eva Coblentz I met Dr Tui and Tessa over 5 years ago when they were working with Multicare. They both were very professional and compassionate. Dr Tui always took the time to listen and I felt that she really cared about me and my health issues. I followed Dr Tui when she left Multicare and started her own practice and I’m so thankful that I did. I feel like a VIP to have a Dr that listens, responds within 24 hours via text and can get an appointment within a few days vs months when I have an issue or health concern. Thank you Dr Tui and Tessa for being cutting edge in the medical field! I would definitely recommend Dr Tui and Tessa! What are you waiting for! Don’t delay! Join NiuOla Health now!

Ashley Stifanos Dr. Tui and Tessa are hands down the BEST providers I have ever had. I have a complex medical history and often have struggled with being taken seriously and being heard by other physicians because I am young. On my first visit Dr. Tui told me "you are too young to be feeling the way you do and we are going to get to the bottom of it" She has been so incredibly receptive and took all of my concerns seriously. I have found my forever physician and I feel so safe and comfortable under her care. You can tell she loves what she does and truly cares for her patients. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!

Ray Meluch Dr Tui has been very good in the two years Ive been at her practice. Her office help is attentive, and Ive never had to wait for a scheduled appointment. Dr. Tui is very pleasant, kind and caring, and her treatment recommendations have worked well for me.

Katie H Dr Tui is amazing! I have a complicated medical life. After our first meeting, I was sure I had found my forever physician. She listens, she addresses my concerns and doesn’t make me feel like I am being dismissed. We work through a plan we both believe will help me live my best life possible. You won’t be disappointed.

Candice Mears HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Kim! This is the first time I have felt like a doctor truly listened to my concerns. Dr. Kim is very professional, thorough, and explained everything during the visit. I would absolutely pay out of pocket to see her again over using our established insurance. I received not only great care and information but also much needed back pain relief. Dr. Kim is truly fantastic. 10/10

Hannah Gamonez You couldnt ask for a better Doctor than Dr. Kim! She takes so much time to listen to you, your concerns, and your questions. As someone who has struggled with finding good doctors who show so much care for their patients, Dr. Kim has been a god send! She truly goes above and beyond for her patients, not just treating symptoms but digging deep to find solutions and making her patients feel seen, heard, and taken care of! I highly recommend her!

Pay What You Can Primary Care I am a physician and I pride myself in knowing some osteopathic manipulation but I DO NOT know it like Dr. Kim; I came in today for an adjustment - came in stiff nothing too terrible (I didn’t think) probably my baseline for some time but could feel the fatigue setting in - and walked out feeling great. Even woke up and could not figure out where the stiffness went. I don’t do this lightly, I’ve spent many decades in search of good massage therapy, this isn’t massage, this is putting your body back together for ultimate healing. I am not even exaggerating. So yes, this is my highest recommendation for Dr Kim and your body’s somatic dysfunction.

Tara Cline Dr Kim is a God send. I have slipped rib on my right and have a lot of pain in my chest because of it and every time I get the OMT adjustment by Dr Kim I have great relief that lasts for days. She also helps with other pain muscle issues and balance of the connective tissues. She does amazing cranio sacral release as well. Im beyond thrilled to have found her! Shes a compassionate exemplary doctor and person over all.

Michelle B Dr McKay was great! This appointment is a second opinion and I felt that he truly listened to me and is digging into try to figure out what is at the core of my pain. I truly appreciated his care, compassion and time for me. I would totally recommend him to anyone that I know.

Melanie Schwent Olympia Orthopaedics is the premiere orthopedic provider on the area. They have been my ortho provider for years. I was able to get in quickly and Dr. McKay explained possible problems and options to see what we are looking at. Received a call to schedule further testing within two days and was able to make that appointment for a week out. Great doctors. Great experience.

Nicolle Kelley WA-PORT ORCHARD I brought my 83 year old mother in to see Dr. McKay for a second opinion. The entire experience was excellent. The front desk staff was wonderful and the medical team was also great. Dr. McKay started the visit by sharing what he already knew about my moms orthopedic health history. He then attentively listened to my mom, making sure he understood exactly what her concerns were. He patiently answered all of her questions, reviewed her x-rays with her in meticulous detail, and explained to her in a way that she could understand how her bones had healed and why she didnt need surgery. He was everything a doctor should be and more. I cannot stress enough how very pleased I am with everything about our encounter today. Thank you Dr. McKay and your superior team for making all the difference in the life of a little old lady!

Adam Lopez I just got back from seeing Dr. Trent McKay. I served in the United States Marine Corps, United States Air Force Reserves, Security Forces, i.e., flight line security, law enforcement, and combat arms instructor. I retired from law enforcement after serving 31 years, and my last 5 years I was the First Sergeant of an aeromedical evacuation squadron. Without any hesitation, in my professional opinion, Dr. McKay is extraordinary and truly exceptional. He listens to what you have to say, and doesn’t interrupt. His x-ray technician did extraordinary work getting images for an accurate diagnosis, and his support staff are exceptional, i.e., second to none. Dr. McKay went hands on and did a complete examination of my shoulder. He then told me that he thinks it’s my neck. He then showed me the x-rays that were taken and explained to me what he suspects. He is truly an extraordinary surgeon, doctor, professional, and an exceptional human-being. He exemplifies professionalism and humanity at its FINEST! Thank-you, Dr. McKay. I will tell all my friends and associates that you are the person to see if they have shoulder concerns and/or pain.
5 /5
Melissa Griffus Dr McKay is as good as all the reviews say he is. He’s skilled, knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner and he genuinely cares and listens. I had a full rotator cuff tear, a bicep tear, osteoarthritis and protruding bone that needed to be shaved down. At three months post surgery, I just saw him for a follow up and I’m doing really well, he thinks I have a good chance of full recovery or very close to it. He showed me the imaging pre and post surgery and it’s incredible what he was able to do with my very messed up shoulder. I highly recommend him.

Ron Northouse It is great having Kaiser Medical Offices on the Westside of Olympia. Cuts out a lot of time needed to make a doctors visit. And even better, Dr. Goold is an excellent primary care doctor. Personable, takes the time needed to discuss problems and is very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

Debbi Westgard I am so happy with my care at the West Olympia Clinic. I am greeted every time I walk through the door and the nursing staff are friendly and knowledgeable . My Doctor is Dr Woodstra and she always listens to me and I feel very cared for by her. I highly recommend this clinic!

Christina Goforth Coming to Kaiser from Multicare there is just a HUGE positive difference. ✅ There are no long wait times, so I am in and out for my appointments which works perfect for me due to my busy schedule. ✅ The office is clean, relaxing and quiet. ✅ Friendly medical staff that not only listen to your concerns but actually hear you & address them. ✅ They make sure I have no more concerns before I leave and if I do they make it a point to address those also. I didn’t have this with Multicare! I would give 100 stars to Kaiser if I could.

Leta We have been with this Office from the start. We absolutely have no complaints. Dr Moore and Laura are very great at seeing a serious problem and working with us after we understood the true seriousness of everything. They are going out of their way to assist us with our journey and to ensure its success, for which we are very grateful.

Diana Migchelbrink My first time for a video visit and boy was it easier than the traffic on Cooper Point! The doctor was a few minutes late but that’s the same as an in-person visit. There was a bit of an echo but it could be ignored. The video visit felt more personal and I felt I had the doctors full attention. I had the chance to discuss all of my concerns and we made a plan to deal with them. Multicare has set up a very quality interaction with my physician. Thank you!

Kurt Rader This was my first visit to this clinic. Im transferring my care to MultiCare and so far the experience has been very satisfying. Dr. K has a terrific manner and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that there is a lab inside the clinic. I got in and out with labs in a timely manner. The parking is a little tight so getting there well before your appointment is advised.

Barbara Whitlow Love Providence. Always good customer service. And my doctor is kind and caring. She really takes the time to listen and find solutions. I’m grateful for her help. It does take a long time to get in to see a doctor. Would be great if they had additional doctors but I know that is a challenge everywhere.

John Tull Excellent doctors but not enough time and too few appointments over time. They need more staff. RN staff also great but too few. Med. assistants do fine job but also need more staff. Appointments feel pressured and brief. I am grateful they are there but wish for less pressure and lowered workload for health care providers.
5 /5
Linda Bradford We love Doc purtteman! She listens to us and gives choices about levels of treatment. She also has a great "bedside manner"-not too tough, but not too permissive. Staff get us in quickly and efficiently in a friendly manner.
5 /5
David Kelly Very well run… everyone was friendly and helpful. The only negative is if the exam ends with them wanting me to do labs I have to completely “in process” again at the lab. A warm “hand off” would be nice!
5 /5
Amanda Front office staff are courteous. Nursing staff are great. Dr Johnson is amazing. He used to be at East Providence Which was closer to me and when he was transfered to West Olympia location, I decided to drive all the way there to stay under his care. Only complaint is that I typically only get to see him for planned continuous care appt and not if there is something new or more pressing because his schedule is typically a couple months out. I understand it but still hate it. Amazing job. Keep it up.

Sue Stewart I have been to this clinic before...several years ago and everything went just fine. My latest visit and ALL other forms of communication have been worse than ANYTHING I have EVER encountered in my long lifetime. It took a month after calling to get an appointment. The appointment itself was wonderful. The Physician Assistant was actually the best "doctor" I think I have had a visit with however.... Someone called me on the 2 week appointed time for my pathology report. The message said to call Amy so...I did. This was on Friday, March 14, 2025. Her message said it could be 24 hours before she could return the call. No problem, it was a weekend. I did NOT receive a call on Monday. Most of Tuesday passed without a call so I called again. The report I got was not what I had hoped for but... Her explanation of treatment options was like pick one of the two. I dont have a clue which would be better or which had a better outcome or cost or if my insurance would cover either of the options. USUALLY...a doctor would explain things but...not in this case. I dont have a clue as to what to even ask Medicare and my insurance company what would be covered. Then I said wed go for another surgical option instead of the BrachyTherapy which Im sure Medicare wouldnt cover, especially now in the uncertainty of Medicare. The soonest appointment I could get is THREE MONTHS away. I now have the dreaded C word...CANCER but I have to wait three months??? Will I still even be alive in 3 months, will this be worse??? I have no idea since the young lady is NOT a physician. This is MY ONE AND ONLY LIFE...shouldnt it be valued more than "pick one"? If your patients are your business, I think better treatment of that patient should be your top priority. I feel like Im at the bottom of the list of things to deal with.

Jennifer Solheim Saturday appointment option was great. Front desk check in was friendly and easy. Visit with provider was ok. She confirmed that my moles were nothing to be concerned about. Eased my mind. Short and sweet. I think she only spent about 5 min with me. Being a new patient I thought there would be more to it. But other than that it was fine.

Paige Patten I absolutely love Suzanne! She makes me feel SO comfortable and she talks her way through the entire all over body check, explaining everything. She’s very patient and lets you ask all the questions you want. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The other staff are very friendly too. Check in was a breeze. I was in and out of the building within 30 minutes. Thank you!

Mud Fish The physicians and staff are kind, compassionate, and professional. The front office staff are the best I have encountered. From prompt callbacks and scheduling, to going above and beyond to establish a genuine relationship with patients. The doctors on staff are always willing to listen and take the patients overall needs into consideration. I’m always impressed by their vigilance and standards. I have been a Vantage patient for around 7 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my healthcare. A+

Bill Cogswell Our family have been patients of Vantage for years. The physicians and staff have cared for one of our parents and now for both of us. The doctors and support folks are caring, responsive and knowledgeable. We really appreciate their model of care as it focuses on our interests rather than being tied to insurance companies and/or corporate entities. We highly recommend Vantage Physicians!

Lisa L. Docked two stars for trying to leave the practice, and getting billed for two months when I havent been using the services and requested it, maybe 28 days ahead of time. Their "30 day policy" is a dig at their clients; I gave them plenty of time to get me off services. My PCP was awesome, responsive, etc, for years. But billing an extra month when no services have been used is really not okay. Im leaving the practice to save money because of paying back student loans, and they gouged me on the way out. I tried to call and got the "well, it wasnt 30 days" when it was close enough. Not okay.

Tru I really appreciate the amount of time and care Dr. K always takes for each visit, even if Im coming in for a regular check up or for what I think is a "minor" concern. It also feels like collaborative care -- Dr. K really listens to where Im at and what I think is right for me. This approach feels like what health care should be like. I have huge amount of respect for Vantage and more importantly feel very respected by them.

(248) Reviews Heart of Wellness:

Kathryn Kirkpatrick I went in looking for a new Naturopath and had a lovely visit with Dr. Duncan. She was very professional, a great listener and knowledgeable on my questions and issues. Ultimately our views on health did not match and I was a bit taken aback by some of her philosophies as they dont seem to align with Naturopathy (in my opinion). This was a 1/2 point deduction. The remainder of the reason I gave a 3 star review was that I was initially charged as self-pay at the desk for my visit, which is what I was quoted over the phone. Later I was charged an additional $60 with no explanation after confirming that I paid in full at the office. So now I am paying for $60 more for no apparent reason. Which is odd.

LD K Dr. Attwood is wonderful. She listens and really takes the time to understand. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. I’ve been going to Heart of Wellness for 10 years and am very satisfied with the care I’ve received.

Lisa Lewis Dr. Carpio literally saved my life. I was really ill. I had been to doctor after doctor after doctor. Nobody could figure out what was wrong with me. I was sick all the time; I was losing weight, but too much; I was in and out of the hospital; I didnt have enough energy to do basic activities; and I was slipping into depression because I was so dependent on others for everything. After my very first visit, I was feeling 90%. He gave my issues real thought. He didnt just try to throw medicine at me. He sat with me and walked me through his thought processes. I felt comfortable with his direction and treatments. He recommended small things that had big impacts. I was very impressed that he did not walk me to the front and tell me to buy the things he sold in office. His recommendations were based on my need, not his bottom line. I thought I was cured and finished my course of treatment. I gained the weight I needed back (and a little more because I was feeling so much better), but then I relapsed. I went in to see him again. He recommended two supplements. The day after starting those supplements, I was back to 100%. What I have will be with me my entire life, but I do not suffer from it anymore. Dr. Carpio empowered my body to fight it. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Carpio for putting patients over profit and giving me my life back.

Brittni Vargas So far my experiences have all been amazing here! Mary has been extra amazing!!!!! I had a Pap with her and I have never been treated with so much care and respect at a pap appointment before. She was very gentle, caring, took the time to explain things. Zero judgment! So much care! I, as a plus size women, felt so so cared for. Highly recommend! Glad I found her.

Nikki M. I love my doctor, but I dont love Heart of Wellness. My explanation is this: 1) I dont appreciate that I have to hold my credit card with them or be charged a $20 fee for processing a claim. 2) You must sign up for a "membership" at $100 a year (single). I continually get emails for classes I can sign up for etc, the holistic approach. Okay, I get it, but I dont want to join classes, dont feel it is necessary for my particular goals and do not have the time to devote to attending classes 60 miles away. This all seems like a money grab in the name of natural medicine.

Newtonian Space-Time I recently had an appointment to establish care with Thomas Etherton, ARNP, and was delighted with my experience. His easygoing demeanor made me comfortable discussing my health. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. They have a great sense of humor and are easy to connect with. As a female patient, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from a male provider, but his easygoing, knowledgeable approach stood out. He took the time to listen to my questions in an attentive and sincere manner. The responses he provided were honest and incorporated my input. Thomas Etherton, ARNP, offers a low-barrier yet thorough approach. I left the appointment feeling empowered and confident. It’s uncommon to find a doctor who balances professionalism with such kindness. I highly recommend Thomas Etherton, ARNP, to anyone seeking a caring and attentive primary care provider.

Karen Kowalski Good doctors and good staff. Always professional. Billing dept does good job with insurance. They accept a wide variety of insurance. It is a walk-in clinic so you have to wait your turn, but they give a good service. Ive used them multiple times through the past 10 years or so - they are always solid. I appreciate that they are open 7 days a week with no appointment required.

Barbara Howe Front desk was cordial and welcoming. Back office staff barely spoke. I was led for an X-ray by one staff member, given directions for the X-ray, led back to examine room after finishing by a different staff member. No one spoke to me but they all managed to discuss plans for lunch with each other. The door to the exam was opened for me I walked through and turned to the medical person who was in the process of shutting the door behind me. No information was provided to me about how much longer my wait would be and truly expected to hear the door being locked behind me. After about a 45 minute wait and left looking for the restroom. There was a group of employees at the desk. I made eye contact with me, seemingly surprised to see me come out of the room. He escorted me to the restroom and when I was returning to my room, he followed and told me one person was ahead of me and doctors would be in soon. Granted this is a walk in clinic and I did wait for at least two hrs before the doctor came in. He told me his name but never made eye contact with me. Sat with his back to me, did most other talking and it was difficult to get information across to him without interrupting him. It seemed he had already decided what he was going to say and wasn’t very interested in what I had to say or even if I had any questions. The surgeon will be calling 3-5 days. Probably was a 20 minute visit then he was gone. Not impressed.

Eric Bamer I can only give a star for the staff. They were fine themselves. We went in for “urgent” care. A broken ulna and radius with incredible pain. We we got in waiting room with two others sitting ahead of us. I told staff wife was in a lot of pain and she said she would let doctor know. Long story short, the do NOT triage!!! We spent hours with no pain meds to find out they can’t give us pain meds!!!! They referred us to the ER. 2.5 hours, no pain meds and no TRIAGE. I their description of “urgent” care they mention that they are aware of the pain that comes along with orthopedic emergencies need “URGENT” care yet were unable to do anything about it. They also couldn’t or refused to forward our X-rays over to St Pete’s further delaying our care. Complete waste of time for us. Yelp only gives them 2 stars.

Google User Had a great experience here recently - my partner woke up one day with horrible pain but no health insurance. We frantically searched for free/affordable same-day medical care and found this clinic. Left a voicemail Monday morning; got a callback around 2pm that day; got an appt for 6pm that same evening. Easy check-in, almost zero wait time, on-point diagnosis, and they sent him home with 3 meds (one of which he picked up at a local pharmacy for $20, the other two were free from the clinic). All told he paid $20 for excellent health care while his pain steadily improved within a few days. We didnt even need the follow-up appt. Had such a great experience here that were both now wanting to volunteer to help pay it forward. Thank you Olympia Free Clinic for all that you do!

Luis Aguilar Very good experience, whenever I requested their services, they attended to me very well, I have no complaints, thank you

A M You get what you pay for, nothing. The first visit with their volunteer doctor was great. I was given good advise and learned new things. The second visit with their volunteer physical therapist was awful. His advice caused more issues and pain. Then, while my legs grew worse from my sciatic issue that has me worried I am going to lose my legs ... they took two weeks to get the paperwork to me. You pay nothing for nothing good for sure.
1 /5
DM H Nice people. Willing to work with you as things change. But these are volunteers, so don’t have high expectations. Things you should know: your first visit will probably be to set a later appt to be seen at the same location. Many of your needs will be referred out to the various medical institutes in the immediate vicinity. If it is already past regular work hours, expect to go the next day. Upon arrival to those outside clinics, be prepared for a variety of options for being uninsured, but it should go well. Important: At the free clinic check all of your providers’ referral paperwork for any mistakes or incongruities you could assess on your own.

Princess of the Cape Got to my appointment on time just to wait TWO HOURS to be seen. I dont care if this is free - if you cant keep a schedule, dont call me in! I appreciate what they do. Truly. They are donating their free time. I just wish they would be more considerate with mine.

Alisha Dr Duncan has been my provider for over 3 years. He is absolutely amazing. He is very skilled, excellent communicator, compassionate and has guided me in my health and wellness journey. My health is better than it has ever been. His healthcare model allows for same day appointments, longer visits and a very comprehensive approach to healthcare. Dr Duncan addresses the whole person not only a symptom. I highly recommend Dr Thomas Duncan and Duncan Integrative Health. When you enter the atmosphere is positive and uplifting. Melody is an absolute gem - upbeat and welcoming. The entire team is simply amazing. Consider Duncan Integrative Health for all of your primary healthcare needs.

Shannon S Dr. Duncan is extremely knowledgable and effective. He worked with me to determine the exact cause of my issues and has reversed the course of my illness. He not only advises for proper nutrition & health but lives the lifestyle himself. I have seen many doctors but none pinpointed my illness, Thank You Dr. Duncan.

Summer Fall I’m here to give a shoutout to Dr. Thomas J. Duncan and his staff for all that they do by going the extra mile providing healthcare services outside of the box. For years I was part of a well known University healthcare system. They’re great people but provided only one size fits all traditional healthcare rather than preventive medicine. It took some time to find someone practicing cutting edge preventive medicine, and finding Dr. Duncan has really paid off. I haven’t had a doctor like Dr. Duncan who not only spends quality time going over results, but he’ll turn over every stone by testing and not guessing. I would recommend to anyone seeking quality care and wanting to understand what’s going with their health to interview Dr. Duncan to become their healthcare provider. Dr. Duncan truly cares about the best outcomes for his patients, it obvious! Robert.R

My appointments are not rushed and I feel like the additional blood tests and InBody machine have been very helpful to me to track my progress towards better health.

Jose Cruz I recently had my first visit with Dr. Bryan Blumer, and I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, attentiveness, and patient-centered approach. From the moment I arrived, the office staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Dr. Bryan Blumer took the time to listen carefully to my medical history and concerns, asking thoughtful questions and providing clear explanations. Their approach was both thorough and reassuring, making me feel comfortable and confident in their care. They demonstrated a deep knowledge of primary care while also showing genuine compassion, which is essential in building trust with a new physician. I also appreciated that they did not rush the appointment, instead taking the necessary time to address my questions and discuss a proactive approach to my health. The visit was well-organized, and I left feeling informed and well cared for. Based on this initial experience, I highly recommend Dr. Bryan Blumer to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate primary care provider. I look forward to continuing my healthcare journey under their care.

Melissa I like this center and my doctor is excellent. This is the longest I have ever stuck with one doctor. That tells you something. Id like to also note that the last two times I went in, I also really enjoyed the service from and interaction with the young CMA/CNA/Tech. She is always a delight and when I am nervous she helps a lot just by being her lovely self. These workers dont get enough praise for their dual job of taking care of doctors administration stuff while also calming and helping patients.

Jaime Cheeka I thought about leaving several times but administration has always wooed me back... but Im done. I shouldnt have to involve the administration office every time I need my Doctor to do her job. The doctors dont take your health issues seriously or just misdiagnose you and make your problems worse. My problems were dismissed by my Doctor for years until my optometrist wrote an official letter that made her test to me for an autoimmune disease. I have the autoimmune disease, so I requested a letter for the HR of my work, and have been flat out refused unless I schedule an appt. My dr is only booked out 2 months. Also, after I finally convinced my dr to refer me to a dermatologist, the office sent my referral with somebody elses medical record attached, and referred me to the specific dermatologist I said I would not go to... so thats the level of excellence youre dealing with. Edited to add- WAS a patient for at least 15 yrs. Further edited to add that- as you can see- their level of efficiency is rather low as I emailed the email address provided in the response yesterday before writing this review. I received no responses from any phone calls or emails that Ive given to the clinic- but they made sure to come here on Google and respond to my review.

发财发财(超级有钱) I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional assistance I received from Michele, a front desk staff member at Kaiser in Lacey. When I visited the Occupational Health registration desk in early January, Michelle went above and beyond to help me. Her kindness, patience, and meticulous attention to detail ensured I received the care I needed that day. Without her, it wouldn’t have been possible. She truly felt like an angel. Since last summer, I’ve frequently visited Kaiser for various appointments. Every time Michele assisted me with registration, I was always greeted with her warm smile, positive attitude, and outstanding efficiency. This January, when I required special assistance—especially since English is not my first language—Michelle once again went out of her way to provide support. She is incredibly intelligent and quick to understand what I needed, which made the process much smoother. I am deeply grateful that Kaiser has such an extraordinary team member like Michele. Her level of patience, kindness, and willingness to help sets a high standard. If all staff members embodied her qualities, every experience at Kaiser would be exceptional. Thank you, Kaiser, for nurturing such an outstanding employee!

Jan Teague My 97 year old Dad had many people in urgent care taking great care of him. Every single person was attentive and nice. Dad and I were both impressed with how thorough the Physicians Assistant was in the evaluation of his painful fractured forearm. It was a mystery injury and his concern went beyond the injury to why the injury. Tests were done and more tests were ordered. He spoke clearly and slowly to Dad which was perfect for him as Dads processing language has slowed. He felt cared for and respected. This was impressive as old age has unique health conditions and needs unique care. We appreciated it. It was a very long day which is unfortunate for an elderly person to sit for so long. Such is the problem of too few doctors and facility support for a growing population.

Karen Lystad Evidently a Friday afternoon just after a snow storm is a good time to visit the urgent care at Kaiser. I think everyone was on the freeway today. The nurses were awesome and all smiles. And I got in and out really fast.

Nikolay Nenko I am not sure where to start. I have never been 86th out of a doctors office and told that I am a bad patient, that is until today. I went to to this man, I would hardly call a Doctor, because I have had a horrible low back pain, accompanied with stabbing, pins, needles, numbness and every other symptom. I cannot sleep at night because my feet, legs, thighs and muscles ache, twich, stab and just plainly hurt all night. Ibuprofen and Tylenol wont even touch the discomfort and pain anymore. So, I went to see this doctor. First and foremost: I have seen him as my personal family doctor for about 2 years now, give or take. Today when he walked in my room he did not remember who I was, so he asked for my name and Birthday. I gave him both. Then he asked me if I was Russian, to which I said no. He mumbled something that appeared to be a small talk and then to.my surprise he asked me again for my name and birthday. He visually did nor remember asking me the same thing just 5 sentences earlier. When I laughed and told him that he had just ssked me that, he did not remember it. Strange, to say the least. Then he asked me what brought me there. I told him that I had few concerns to talk about and started with my low back pain. I explained that I need an MRI because my condition had deteriorated since my last MRI and I asked for another one so they could compare the two and see the reason behind the worsening of my condition. He said: NO! Amongst other things, we.got in bit of push and shove, which he did not like and started to accuse of being a bad patient and not following his orders. I dont want to go into details of my condition, but when I told him that I had an eye infection for which I have been taking antibiotics for, he cut me.off and without hesitation or even getting out of his chair, he told me "no you dont". I then told him that it has caused my eye lid to droop, he said that,Yes he can see my eyelid drooping a little but there was no infection and then started telling me that I am running out of time and I will have reschedule my appointment. When I mentioned a third reason for my visit he got pissed and told me that I should look for another doctor and with a very agressive tone in his voice ended.my vist saying that he will.ask the facilities to refund my copay for the visit. He was very rude and did not listen to my concerns to help, but rather to tell.me I was a bad patient and he wants a ....divorce. I left very disappointed by his attitude and inability to listen a patient!

I hope me being Polynesian was not the reason behind this unprofessional encounter. There was no we would love to reschedule you it was straight up we have a male doctor. Bayou Billy This was my first time going into this doctors office. I was checked in really quick and the nurses were really friendly. My Nurse Practitioner was very thorough and I feel she cared about my wellbeing. I look forward to having a good relationship with this doctors office in the future. My only complaint would be that the appointments are booked out 3 months.

Sheila Carew The clinic accommodated so I could get an appointment quickly for medication refill which was much appreciated, however the ongoing challenge of how long it takes to see a primary care provider is frustrating. If appointments take a couple of months, you will never see your primary for illnesses, only wellness checks.

Melanie Bryan I have mixed reviews. I love our doctor however I feel the organization limits has limited his ability to practice good medicine. Since being with him he has limited his time with us. We can no longer get in to see him and communication has become more difficult due to constraints in MyChart. He no longer remembers who we are at an appointment and he is overwhelmed, it is obvious. He is a very good doctor just over worked and the office is under staffed. My daughter and I have chronic health issues so him being overwhelmed makes us feel overwhelmed as well. I hope he gets more help soon.

Anon Astro As someone who frequents urgent care due to health issues, it is a great relief to find somewhere as helpful as here. They were extremely respectful and I was seen in a very timely manner. I showed up expecting to wait at least 30 minutes and I’m not even sure if I waited a full 10. The nurse listened to me and was focused on my care, not on efficiency, like many urgent cares do. I did not feel rushed out of there, I felt seen, heard, and it felt like my care was of highest priority. I would recommend to anyone looking for urgent care. I’ve been to many of the ones around this area and this one is the best by far! Will definitely come back here next time I need!

Amber West This is the best urgent care I’ve been to. The doctor (Dr. Townzen) actually listened to me and offered me tests for peace of mind (which is refreshing from just being dismissed). His nurse Billie was also super sweet and her communication about my needing a preauth was super fast. Thanks to him requesting an X-ray, I found out something additional with my anatomy that I wasn’t aware of and was born with, this will definitely help me in the future if that area causes pain when I’m older. I’m glad I live near such a nice urgent care.

c w Too afraid to return to any Providence facilities or drs or even the surgeon. One nurse saved my sanity while the male nurse yelled at me when my legs were too weak to get up after being on ventilator two times sick, and put me in the hoist to highest spot slamming at top scaring me, and dropped it hard on the bed. YOU CAN NOT TREAT PATIENTS LIKE CATTLE AND HURT THEM AND YELL AT THEM! YOU TAKE AN OATH TO CAUSE NO HARM! NEVER WILL I RETURN!

Now were stuck having to return another day. What a waste of our time and money. We are on a fixed income. We dont have money to throw away on transportation and gasoline. Lab Dept should remain open during clinic hours and if those people in that department dont like it, FIRE them! I reviewed the VAs website and no hours are posted for the Olympia clinics lab. This is WRONG. Needs to change.

Robert Reid When this new operation replaced the excellent Chehalis facility everything concerning the healthcare of US military veterans went downhill. After learning that I would soon be required to switch to the new clinic, over the course of the next year I was notified via email that I had been assigned to not less than three different care teams and never actually saw any of them. Not one. Nor was I ever personally contacted by any of these medical personnel assigned to my so-called "care teams." You can infer the quality of personalized care this affords any of the veterans assigned to this clinic. Not only is this new office father away from my home, unlike the Chehalis location, it is impossible to initiate contact via the phone: you are now forced to go through a call center and join a queue of 50 to 60 other veterans all trying to accomplish the same thing. When attempting to schedule an appointment my calls were continuously disconnected. Each time I had to redial, get back in line and start the process all over again so frequently that I have given up using this method to make contact. Instead I tried sending a direct message asking to set up an appointment with my assigned doctor. I was told a scheduler would contact me to set up a video session. Two months later I was still waiting to be contacted. If you need medical attention and want to see an actual doctor in person this is not the place for you. The doctors here go out of their way to schedule video/phone appointments only and they only have four days each week to squeeze you in, as this country club is deserted of everyone but the nursing staff on Fridays. Since its opening two years ago I have only been seen by one actual doctor for a brief visit. That meeting never did resolve my medical issue. If you have a procedure requiring an actual visit to the office, the doctors will assign as many of them to the overworked nursing staff as possible rather than burden themselves. If you require something more frequently associated with actual doctor/patient services you are better off seeking out an urgent care clinic, something the Olympia CBOC heartily advocates. The nursing staff here are the best I have ever seen. That they actually care about you as an individual, as a human being is evident in all that they do - and they do it all. As a US military veteran, I have been seen and treated by some of the best, most caring individuals you could ever hope to meet. But they dont populate the Olympia clinic. It is my personal opinion that the doctors here really dont care. Theyre simply indifferent about the men and women placed in their care: a fact they make no attempt to hide. Its just a job where they get away with providing the minimum effort and still collect a paycheck. If you want to actually be seen in person by a doctor in your lifetime, this is not the clinic for you. From the start, these people have consistently left me feeling like more of a burden than anything else. They could not be more impersonal if they tried and really know how to put the "outpatient" in CBOC. Lastly, shame on all the deceitful, spineless, submissives leaving their fraudulent five-star reviews here. UPDATE (18 Dec 2024): Been waiting weeks and weeks for a phone call appointment (I dont own a car and there is no mass transit near me) with my primary care NP to request a referral for any injured leg - the pain is excruciating at times. The call is scheduled for less than two hours from now and the clinic just called to cancel because the NP is sick. I must reschedule and live like this for at least another month - the soonest I can get another phone appointment is next year, Jan 15 2025. The clinic manager needs to be incarcerated for the way veterans are mistreated here.

After a couple of months, I called and was told the referral was canceled because they referred me to the wrong specialists for my issue. This was never. Ommunicated to me by TFPC.I was told I was then referred to correct one and still after a year have never heard from the specialist. Every issue they have referred us out and done nothing- not even preliminary test to.determine if the specialist.was needed. It was a waste of a year and we are back at our precious doctors after switching our insurance back. 100% do not recommend.

Stephen Heath We’re big fans of the providers once we’re seen, but administratively, they’re terrible. Prescriptions rarely get sent to the pharmacy in a timely manner and most government agencies have shorter wait times on the phone. We’ve rationed medications several times. Desk staff don’t seem to act with any greater urgency when you call days after you were seen and tell them that you are out of a medication.

jim blosl I came in there because I was having severe neck pain and my left leg wasnt working right I was having a hard time walking. And my hands arms and legs were numb. And the doctor Cynthia Whitney was basically very short with me and ask me what I wanted to do for my symptoms. And I said I would definitely need MRIs of my neck and my low back. And she literally denied me and said she wouldnt do that for me which I could not believe they could deny me medical help but she did. And then hurried up out of the office saying she would send off my medication and be right back. But she never came back she sent her nurse in to let me know they sent off the medication. I asked where my doctor was and the nurse said oh she went on to the next patient. I couldnt believe it. Low and behold the end of that week I ended up having to go to to the emergency hospital in St Petes they check me out and said immediately they needed MRIs after the MRIs they said they said they had to do an emergency neck surgery on my neck. So here I am now with a neck fusion. Im absolute horrible experience with Tumwater family practice. I forgot to mention Ive been a dedicated patient with them for somewhere around 37 years. And this is the way I was treated.
