William Scott Hey who likes going to the Doctor? Nobody right? Well when we get older we all have to go a lot more often than we like. Thankfully I found a doctors office is absolutely awesome. The doctors great but what makes going here so enjoyable is the girls that work there. Going to see them is like going to see your best friends. They talk to you like youre family and they genuinely care how youre doing. Theyre fun to be around. I tell them every time I go that I pray they dont go anywhere. I know it sounds weird to talk about a doctors office but I would truly be broken-hearted if any of them left. I just hope VeriMed realizes what an asset they are to their company. And no Im not related to any of them. If you have the opportunity to choose this office to see your doctor do yourself a favor and go.

Howard Summers I have been having lower back pain. I recently had a CT scan and an MRI at Watson Clinic, and they referred me to USF Health. On November 7, 2024, I saw Dr. Torres Gluck. He was very thorough in examining me and reviewing my MRI results. He told me my problem was muscular, and that I did not need surgery (which I was glad to hear). He used a couple of spine models to show me where my problem was, and what treatment I would need. He was very kind and listened to everything I had to say. He gave me a couple of prescriptions and said I needed physical therapy (PT). The doctor and his nurse, Nikki, gave me a list of 3 local places to go for PT. He said I also have the option to go wherever I wanted to go for PT. Thank you, Dr. Torres Gluck. I would highly recommend him to anyone having back problems.

Corky Devendorf This is as big a mixed bag as I have ever reviewed. Getting the appointment for my wife setup was a literal nightmare. We were told opposing stories of what was needed (MRI Results) prior to our visit. The left hand did not know what the right was doing, or even close. It took from November 23 to end of February 24 to just get the appointment. And it had nothing to do with the MRI. That was done in October. This was the worst of it. Back and forth, being told one thing and then the opposite by someone else more than one time. A 1 star effort only because you cant give none. Im not prone to loosing it entirely, but I came as close as I have in many years this time and my wife had to calm me down. My wife isnt very patient when waiting. So it was a good thing I made the appointment. We got into the exam room (with our test DVD) in good time, and the admissions nurse was prompt and very good, but we sat in there for OVER an hour waiting on the Doc; Dr Croci. The wife was ready to walk, especially after the appointment setup snafu. I returned the favor and calmed her down now, during the wait. It is fortunate they take BP at the beginning of an exam. This part is a solid 1 star portion of the encounter. What saves this from being a 1 star review is the nurse and MD themselves. She was good and he is personable and seemed to listen to us. Taking his time with us and answering our questions. Perhaps why he was so late. He seems to have an excellent handle on his craft and explained why he came to his conclusions very well. They were the only 4 star or 5 star portion of our experience. Overall, we will look for other services if we ever need further neurology consultations. A 3 star rating is indeed gracious overall, but the most important part did shine thru.

Teresa Boss This is one of the worst clinics I have ever been to. Even the other insurance companies are dropping them. I have no idea how they got the rating they got but I wouldnt give them any stars. I had 3 places on my hand that wouldnt go away. The doctor gave me a ointment and he said that it would clear it up. Well when I got home I read what it was for. It was for temporary relief of back aches, sprains and strains. Needless to say I didnt use it and referred myself to my dermatologist and come to find out it was squamous cell carcinoma. Skin cancer. If that doctor isnt a quack I dont know what he is. But he shouldnt be practicing medicine. I bet all the good reviews are coming from Spanish speaking patients or family members. This place is a joke.

Eileen Martens Jessica Jo is amazing. So detailed. I recommend this place to everyone. Most doctors spend maybe five minutes top with you. Dr Ramos and Jessica nurse practitioner will spend and hour if needed to go through everything with you and answer all your questions so you dont feel like it was a waste of time. Wish my specialist staff were as thorough and thoughtful as they are here.

Elliot Schumacher I require weekly wound debridement and assessment for unhealing ulcers on my legs and feet. Over the past 4 years Dr. Pham has been a godsend. I went through two underqualified doctors before finding LRH Wound Center. My past experiences left me in terrible pain and an emotional wreck. Then I found my savior! Dr. Pham is so intelligent and skilled. He is a wizard with a scalpel and he is always smiling and laughing, which is greatly calming mentally. That ensured I went regularly and stopped skipping appointments out of anticipation/fear. His bedside manor cannot be beat, and he is a genius Infectious Disease physician, which is the key to the quality care provided. He knows the exact treatment best suited for the situation. My trust is not just in him, but the entire staff is helpful and really listens to any concerns you may have. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give the maximum, no matter how high the ratings went!

Mark Wheeler Im amazed at how much care can be given. They even have hyperbaric chambers at this location to assist in healing of certain types of wounds. My friend came for wound care on a wound that wouldnt heal normally due to radiation treatments on that breast area. The doctor said it may take a year or two to heal. We started daily hyperbaric treatments - 7 so far. The wound is looking good according to the doctor. I checked the hours today with reception. The are closed on the weekends. Open at 7 AM and the last patient is scheduled for 2 PM so they are typically closed around 3 PM.

Don Turner Recently underwent Eye surgery and I must say that the ladies in pre-op were more than just professional, they were very pleasant in addition. Treated with a rare tone of respect that is so lacking these days. Thank you for the excellent job you are doing.

I cant say enough about the quality of the care they provided. They explained what was going to happen and everything went as they said it would. Faith Allen So I guess pcp has new rules charging $75 for forms like to get hospice or rehab care or even a handicap parking permit. I have never heard of this. Then we waited more than 1.5 hrs to see the doctor and still waiting. For the disabled and elderly that kind of a wait is extremely difficult. Switching doctors for sure. I don’t understand I liked the office at first and they were great but something has changed drastically. Not personable anymore.

Kenneth Williams Dr Saylor is a great doctor. His nurse Helena is giving him a bad name. Never returns phones calls. Holds your prescription instead of looking in our chart to see where to send it or simply calling you ask where to send it. My wife has begged for her follow up breast ultrasound and instead of returning a phone call she gets an appointment card in the mail for Watson clinic womens care. The issue with that is none of her scans are there so they had nothing to compare it to. This was also the same issue back in September 2021. Took her almost 4 months to get the script sent over even after several phone calls with no return calls and messages on the portal. With us still not knowing if my wife has breast cancer it seems that no one up there cares because you cant even beg for good medical help from them anymore. Now today we called to report a positive covid test and ask for the antibody infusion. She finally called back this afternoon to tell us to go to urgent care and have them test us and if its positive they will do the infusion there, per Dr. Saylor. Well that was also a waste of time because we went down there for nothing because they no longer do the infusions at Watson Clinic and they had no idea where to tell us to go for it. I understand things have been crazy with Covid but it seems nothing can go right in his office and its very disappointing.

Othello Jones The first star is for visuals - the place is beautiful on inside and out. The second star is that my baby was born/delivered healthy without any complications im very thankful that being the main goal. 1st complaint is we requested to change positions (squatting and on knees for delivery) for comfort because the assist of gravity and it assist with comfort, the midwive nurse who was there to do the delivery was very intense and forceful she said no to her changing positions because “I’m old I don’t want to hurt my back getting down to catch the baby” And we believe as a result of giving birth on her back she tore about an inch almost 3 months later and she’s still hasn’t completely healed. 2nd customer service was complete garbage. Once we got up to the unit to sign in the dirty looks from nursing staff start to roll in (all woman) who as a man I’d thought would be more compassionate and understanding. I the father was sent away for some badge and when I came back and once we got to the birthing table for no reason other then simple profiling they gave my wife a paper and asked her to sign it if she wants me to leave they never asked who I was they completely ignored me and the whole time she’s beginning to dilate closer to completion. I was arguing with the midwife about her comfort meanwhile she’s in pain and scared for her life that she’s going to die giving birth. 3rd The forceful midwife was very argumentative about everything we requested for the placenta not to be removed immediately so the child can finish receiving nutrients and oxygen from it by she kept tugging at it causing my wife more pain and discomfort and ruining the moment she just wanted to pop the baby out rip the placenta out cut the umbilical cord wam bam thank you mam and get out of there it ruing the process of the moment thankfully our little sunshine absolutely lit up the room and out shined the evil midwife’s darkness I’ve been so preoccupied with baby stuff loving on her working extra hard to take care of them both that I’m just now posting this almost 3 months later but once I find out her name I will call HR or whoever to make a complaint treating a young couple with their first birth that way is just nasty and the stupid staff nurses who standby and let her treat us that way 4th we are both people of color and I believe they treated us poorly because they were stereotyping us even though we are both kind easy going people in a vulnerable situation we originally planned a home birth in hopes to avoid exactly what we experienced, we came in because my wife was scared and was feeling major discomfort this being her first birth also her mother passed when she was real young due to complications after birth so she had reasonable concerns that’s how we ended up there. These stupid educated people know the statistics of black women in America dying during and after birth I see how the way the treat women of color can make a women with complications worse. I’m so hurt by this, this is my hometown I’ve lived here my whole life and I love Lakeland but I’m also not surprised even when I went to the pediatrician we saw another young black girl who just gave birth who said she had a similar experience. On a positive note our little sunshine is doing great growing healthy and strong so happy we chose to purse home birth with a midwife who educated us and prepared us for the process everything went perfect until. I don’t believe everyone else’s experience was like ours, or will be. Its helps if you go to a midwife for homebirth company who will guide you through the pregnancy process and educate you. If you end up in the hospital make sure to have a Doula(ours missed the birth because guesss what it was on her birthday she was out living it up) also your mom/mothers who will help speak up comfort and support you when these nasty medical staff will not listen. Request the doctor any superior if they don’t follow reasonable request like don’t cut the cord or pull out the placenta immediately or to get in more comfortable positions. The end jerks

All great and my son was just dehydrated so that was a good learning experience for us to make sure we drink more. Would definitely recommend here if you need a good childrens hospital!

Leslie Adanna I will start off by saying as a black woman I was very nervous about giving birth bc of all the stories but the nurses at Lakeland Regional (LR) are awesome!!! They really put my mind at ease and gave me top notch service! I had nurse Rebecca who was awesome and gave me some insight as a mother. I really appreciated that! She is just a wealth of knowledge there was another nurse blonde lady who was my overnight nurse. Shame on me I can’t remember her name but she was GREAT! I think bc by that time I was in the throws of having strong contractions lol then there was Nurse Brittany sorry to all the other nurses but she was my favorite lol she was just a ball of energy, she put me at ease, walked me through everything. She was just super awesome! When I can drink I would definitely take her out for a night out on the town! lol on the the food… they give you a congratulatory dinner for giving birth but honestly the food is pretty sub lol I mean just order out if you can. But other than the food my experience was great, I am so thankful this was my first experience giving birth. Thank you to all the wonderful nurses at Lakeland you guys are just really awesome!

Addison Wilson Rhonda Jackson is by far the sweetest and kindest OB I’ve ever seen. She made me feel truly heard and understood in my experience. I typically am nervous going into appointments, but she made me feel so comfortable from the moment she came in the room. She advocated for me to have my own choices and helped me in every way she could. Her love of her job is very clearly shown through her work. This office is always great, but Rhonda went above and beyond today. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Vivian Baker Was Kept waiting for 3.5 hours. Only four people in the waiting room with me. Dr spent 15 minutes with me and offered no real solution to bronchial and sinus infection other than a four day antibiotic and over the counter products or vitamin store products. Boo. Hiss.

Wells Micha “strivin4greatness” Ive been using this center as my primary and will no longer. I went in because I had been sick for a few days along with the entire family that week. I wasnt showing signs of fever at the moment but spoke of the mucus coming up and terrible, hurtful cough. Because I was not showing signs of sickness at that point, he didnt prescribe anything and asked if I wanted anything. Im not the doctor is what I thought to myself. Left without anything. The rest of the day and especially the next 2 days, the cough got so much worse and deeper. IT IS COUGH AND FLU SEASON! I will not be going back to BayCare. They herd you in and push you out. I would rather him have listened to me and taken care of me then just rushed me out.

spencer capitano Poor diagnostic skills by Chris PA, stated my wife had a common cold, had to take her to Bartow Regional hospital ER and got a totally different diagnosis Influenza A, bad case after Chris said no flu after rapid test and he was apparently in a hurry for something to get to because he kept asking if that was all and trying to leave the exam room. Dan Borah I went to BayCare South Lakeland after several days of low fever, headache, runny nose, body aches. Facility is clean, modern and staff was pleasant. Didnt have much of a wait to be called. Staff was professional, seemed knowledgeable. PA took time to discuss my condition which turned out to be influenza. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

fran howard I think the guy I saw was David. He was great. 2nd time I’ve seen him. He is so understanding and kind. Listened to me and explained what he thought. Will always come here for emergency care. I told the girl up front at the desk that my throat had a knot and I had eaten nuts even though I’m not allergic. She asked me how I felt. I didn’t have any trouble breathing. Good job training your front desk employees to recognize anaphylactics. !!!! That can’t wait!!! It’s life threatening and she knew it.

Deri Sample Dr D has been nothing but great to my kids. I am so happy for her future that she is pursuing. Working with her has been nothing but a learning experience. She goes above and beyond for each of her patients as well as coworkers. I love her.

Carlos Dacosta My son was feeling sick so I showed up without an appointment. I paid the required copay but after 1hr 20 mins waiting, nobody called us. When I asked what happened, apparently dr. Jennifer Warras went to her lunch like she don’t care. Terrible image, definitely not a recommended clinic to take your kids. Without mentioning thet the place was dirty. Update: Went to same clinic but the one located in Mulberry, you guys in Lakeland must learn professionally from them.

Javymar Urdaneta Martinez I called for an early appointment because my child has lung issues do to his prematurity. The earliest appointment they had was after 3 days. I walk in because He is having trouble breathing and has a terrible Wheezing. I waited there patiently 3 hours and then decided to go to the E.R of the nearest hospital. My son has been seen in this office since the day he got out of the hospital. If you see there is a baby that is sick it should be a priority.

Bridgette Long I have never been to a doctors office with the children and have the best experience that Ive had with this office every single time I have wet short wait time very nice staff caring nurses even the front desk clerks are marvelous they will make you feel so comfortable coming in that building you dont even realize the time you spent there and when you leave its the same thing thank you guys so much my kids love this office when we get ready to go they like oh we wont be there that long and we dont and thank you

Brad Baumgartner Our check in person was not personable at all. We were there an hour with her to find out that they were not in our network but offered us no out of pocket cost or said she was sorry for our wait while my wife was in pain. Would never go back even if they were in our network.

Natisha Copeland I came in on Saturday only to be denied treatment by Barbara who was the weekend check in person she stated that my insurance carrier could only be verified Monday thru Friday even though she already saw I had an appointment with Lakeland Regional with another dept in August already verified and approved. Im disappointed in her unwillingness to put the patient first and to be referred to go to Owl UC made me think about her integrity as an employee for LRH. Very disappointed
