My friends car broke down while we were moving to chicago and he took us in after he was closed and even drove to get a car part to fix something that even the dealership said they couldn’t fix. Incredible person, forever greatful for his generosity and kindness!

5 /5 Janet Scott: We were driving thru Belvidere on our way to the River when the belt broke on my 2016 CRV, and the water pump froze. Found Alex’s Auto on Google & called. This was 1 pm on a Saturday. Alex told me his shop closes at 3 on Saturdays, and that he wasnt sure he could find parts & get it fixed before closing. I explained we were on a road trip & desperate. He said he would try to help. He arranged a tow truck, and drove his car out to pick up the three of us travellers. He & his staff were so kind to us… they went to work & by 3:30 pm he was finished. He charged such a fair price and we were on our way in no time. I am so appreciative & wish I lived closer so I could use their services again! Great job !!

My sister & I were traveling through Belvidere at 2 pm on a Sat…called and told Alex our car issues…he not only sent a tow truck he came and picked us up because there were too many of us to fit in the truck. He fixed our car and had us back on the road within a two and half hours! My sister’s water pump had seized and the serpentine belt broke. He did a great job!!
