I want to say, you cant believe everything you hear. Especially these days. Ive always been told you dont want to go to Bonham TMC. And sorry to say I believed it. But no more.
I was there on the Swing Bed Program, from TMC in Denison. Everyone was great. I had an all-around good care experience! The whole staff was very professional
The nurses were great. And I cant say enough about the ladies with (PT) physical therapy. They were great, so I would go back. Thanks, TMC of Bonham.

Amber James I am shocked to see the low ratings and have had only the best experience with the second floor swing program nurses and therapists. Pam, Peggy, Brandy, Shanna, Chip, Heath and others involved in my grandmothers care have been so attentive - providing excellent quality care. This area of the hospital is clean and nice. The visiting family member is offered a meal so that the patient doesnt have to eat alone. I could not ask for a better team of healthcare providers.

Trenna Furrh My loved one had to go to the ER, then be admitted to the hospital three days and 2 nights. The nurses and doctors were excellent. Im so glad that we went to Bonham TMC. I give them an A plus!

Stefanie & Joel Williams The worst hospital ever. I went in for cramping and dehydration..they told me I was fine..just anxiety.. I went to my regular Dr my potassium was loooow! My iron was low, my vitamin d and B was low. And protein was low. They should have administered i.v fluids . I was told I wasnt priority and they needed my bed.. in case you didnt know low potassium is a sign of dehydration..you can die. Ill never be back. Ive never been so sick in my life. The pure disregard for me was inexcusable.

Christine Croce I don’t normally do reviews, but here it goes;
To preface this, I have worked in Healthcare for of 15 years. I moved here 3 years ago and haven’t been to a PCP or ER or my Specialists I should be seeing.
In 2019 I had emergency gallbladder removal at the hospital I worked for, I would have preferred to go to one closer to my house, but I was at work and the Director walked me down. (I was rushed without warning to the Operating Room) A normal cholecystectomy takes 1-2 hours, mine took over 5 and there were some issues involving my liver when the tried to take it out. I stayed over night and was discharged to call the Surgery Center if I had issues. I called multiple times as I know my body as I have had multiple emergency surgeries, and they never called back. So I went back to the ER and they treated me like a drug seeker even though I expressed I want to be fixed not covered up. I felt my body dissipating over the next 2 weeks and again went to ER, but went closer to my home as I had 105 fever. I WAS SEPTIC AND DYING. I wound up in the ICU, had 3 additional surgeries and coded on the table.
I swore to myself I would always advocate for myself, my children and for future patients from then on with confidence not out of fear. I went to this ER bc it was closest, I had my son, and I know the signs of something being wrong.
The one star is for the Receptionist ONLY- the LMT who blew my vein trying to get blood I warned him not to flush like normal because that would happen happened (my entire arm is bruised, open, and I can barely move it), I even told him all the blood he took was not going to be viable due to how long it took and how hard it was to collect. He not only told my son sitting calmly coloring in a chair to not move and stay out of the way and to be quiet while he was asking ME if I was ok. Then he put a line in my thumb, and then blood was take from my other arm from someone else. I was taken for a CT scan which they yelled at me because I wasn’t letting my son out of my sight. ‘Not everyone has that village’ . Anyways they started a saline drip, that ran for only 15 min (I didn’t even get 1/4 of the bag), a shot in my back for “cramping” that has bruised my entire back because that gentleman was so crude and didn’t care.
I not only heard them talking about me and my son, while laughing and saying the most disrespectful things, I heard then talking about my results and personal information. My rights, medical necessity and HIPAA were violated.
In closing I received an incorrect diagnosis, told to go to a bigger hospital, as well told they can’t do anything more because they don’t have and ultrasound tech; meaning they clearly can bill for a CT scan and put other patients in debt for not having an ultrasound tech which is not only less expensive, less invasive, and sometimes all that is needed (but not in my case). The Doctor saw me for 5 min, which I’m sure he will charge for his professional charges to tell me an incorrect diagnosis and he couldn’t help me and to go to a Bigger Hospital.
Our Healthcare system is so broken. Not everyone is looking for drugs, not everyone can get a ride or has a babysitter on speed dial, but that doesn’t mean they should be treated any less or that they aren’t in pain. I will be reaching out to the Chief Compliance Officer, requesting and Itemized Bill, and fighting this. Trust the reviews!!! Hopefully someone reaches out to me because there is so much more I could say that happened, and I didn’t post this out of ill intent, but to help change the system
DO BETTER!!!!!!
