5 /5 Daisy Garces: DHR is a wonderful hospital, here is my review breakdown of the staff.
RN: All of my moms Rns were wonderful. Their rounds were often and always concerned about my moms pain management. They were attentive and extremely professional. I wish I could remember all of their names but unfortunately I only remember Anahis. But they were all wonderful.
CNA: The Cnas that my mom had were also extremely helpful, we had Sonia for a few days and she was so nice and patient with my mom. She went beyond her duties to make my mom feel comfortable. Thank you Sonia for making us feel comfortable asking for help.
Red Coats: The redcoats were also very helpful to us. In particular Uriel I believe his name was. My father was going to spend the night with my mom and we wanted to get him food for him to have incase he was hungry. I realized I needed permission since there was a red coat by the elevator and I knew he was going to say something. I did ask BEN, I asked what i needed to do and he initially said with a wobbly head, sassy and condescending voice, no food is allowed at all in the rooms. I explained the situation that my father couldnt do it for himself , he kept saying the same thing over and over. Then I asked what if I ask the nurse, which he replies that i needed permission also from the doctor, which is odd to me but ok. He was not helpful, not trying to help at all. I then go up and ask the head nurse, she understood and said yes its ok. Then I went to the very front at the waiting area and spoke with uriel. I told the situation and not once did he ever tell me NO. He was helpful and said sure, lets call the nurse to ask her. He went beyond the basic NO. His customer service skills were noticeable. He called the nurse and it was approved. That alone took my 30 min from talking, going up and down the elevator. It could have been half, if Ben would have taken the time to actually want to help.
Overall this hospital is great! Thank you DHR
